I'm a customer at GenderGP and it's occured to me I don't actually know what it is they do. I was considering going DIY but I wasn't great at biology in school at all (and don't have a lot of confidence I'd know my way around a self injection) and I didn't want to get my hormones from a place where I wasn't certain what was in them even worked, or was safe. And I don't have the self-awareness to know how my health/body is changing and what is causing it (I'm one of those people who won't realise I'm ill until someone else notices first). Better to just leave it in the hands of people medically trained.
But it's occured to me that GenderGP has very little power in doing anything in trans healthcare - they can't diagnose me with dysphoria, or provide free/cheap counselling, hormones are a paid monthly subscription, they can't arrange for me to have blood tests, just write letters asking for them. They're kind of just taking my money without doing much.
I'm lucky enough to be able to afford it and it's still better for people with some medical knowledge rather than none (me) to be the main source of information in the medical transition but it is just irritating lol. It does make me consider going DIY once I have the hand of how/when/where to administer hormones, given that I have to do that by myself anyway if I'm with GenderGP and they can't provide other substantial help. I'm hoping my money is going towards getting hormones that are considered safe and suitable for me to use and my blood tests being interpreted, and I don't mind paying for that, but I don't even know how effective they are at that.
So yeah, GenderGP feels like a massive rip off, but it's hormones and that's what I need right now. Anyone else got any thoughts on this? Am I being unreasonable?

I got my 1st (and only) anxiety attack on the beginning of last month. Like a few people, I also was afraid of going to sleep at night. I didn’t know much about anxiety. I was new to this. So at a certain time (around 9pm) I’d start feeling scared to go to sleep, because my anxiety attack happened when I had laid down to sleep. When I would lay down, I would think a lot of negative stuff. Like “What if I die? What will happen to my kids and husband? What about my mom and siblings will they be okay?”
I fixed my sleeping problem by challenging my thoughts. After my brain asked those questions, i would answer them. My thoughts would be like “Remember how you felt the same way yesterday and you woke up today? It’s been happening for like 7 days now and look at you! Still living. It’s okay for people to have ups and downs, that’s how life is. Your family will be okay.”
After that I got over the sleeping thing. Then my mind jumped to eating. I couldn’t eat because I would feel full after eating a tiny portion of food. I was scared to eat normal because I was Googling things I shouldn’t eat.
I got passed it, by telling myself “Hey, remember you used to eat this meal before your anxiety attack? Remember it never made you feel sick? Why are you worried about something you’re familiar with?” Turns out I was making myself feel sick because I was stressing myself out and my anxiety was getting to me.
Like I said, I’m new to anxiety. I’m just learning how to calm my brain when it panics a little. Lately I’ve been feeling normal. I don’t take any medicine for anxiety or anything. Which I’m grateful for. I feel like the first few days were so hard, but I’m learning to manage it as I go.
I also want to share a website called 7cups. It’s a website that have anxiety and other things like depression and other stuff. I hope it helps someone because I feel like that website helped me a lot. It’s free (unless you wanna take therapy on there then you gotta pay) but that’s the first positive place I found after my anxiety attack and it calmed my anxiety because they have some exercises for your mind that help you. They have forums where you ask questions and people help you. They also have listeners that chat with you if you need someone.

Right now I have a GTX 1660ti and a AMD 2700X with 32gb of RAM and a 1440p HDR monitor with a 170 refresh rate. I just got a new job with a major psy increase and my bills are next to none, so I want to celebrate by upgrading my computer. I currently have a Series X on my 4k TV, but I use my computer all the time for a bunch of stuff (work included) as well as for gaming, and would like to game on it even more. What would be the best upgrades to make it comparable to my Series X or better? I'm not looking to get the top tier stuff, but I want it to be a worthwhile upgrade for sure. What should I get?

Given the quality of the game I expected to find more discussions about it on line but I cannot find a lot of information at all.
I'd like to know if you should focus on melee or range for your characters or keep a mix between both, and who should do what?
I am only starting but I am having fun with Albus as a dodge/block counteforestall chance to win melee but I was thinking of trying a more melee oriented build with Sion too, with his buff under 33% health by using health masteries and will to live or smth like that.
But then Irene comes in and also look like she's designed to be melee, so should I keep Sion range and spec the other two as melee or should I simply have a mix of abilities for all?
Also, I wanted to make sure buffs with "extra effect" give these effects as soon as you get them? Or is there a condition to get these effects? Because I'm wondering why mark them with this tag if you get the effects as long as you have the skill active?
And in scaling formulas there's sometimes things like 50% wind SP. Does it means that the skill makes more damage if I keep them at max without using overcharged attacks? And that increasing max SP will also increase their damage further? Do you usually use your overcharged skill ASAP or stay at max SP with some characters for this reason?
I hope some people still come and read posts here, I see there are 126 online right now, it's still more than zero right?
