So long story short I overextended myself big time by taking a new job in a HCOL with minimal emergency funds. Pair that with substantial car and emergency dental , I put myself in a hole. Ended up maxing my credit cards ($8,043 balance ATM) and unfortunately taking on some horrible predatory loans to cover bills. Essentially kicking the can but that’s besides the point.
Obviously my credit took a hit, now down to ~560(FICO). I was able to secure a consolidation loan from my credit union (16.99% APR) and they also offered a $2500 credit line (2.99% APR for 12mo). After paying off all of the very bad loans, I am left with ~$1800 of my consolidation loan and the $2500 credit line
My question here is how I should plan to use the remaining funds to pay down my credit cards. I am uneasy with my current Poor score at 560 as I will most likely need to apply for a new apartment come September. How can I optimize paying these balances down to result in better bumps to my credit score(See excel breakout below). I have no reported missed payments so it’s largely been my prolonged 98% utilization dragging my score down.
With some of this predatory debt gone I should have some breathing room to save. I’ve calculated that I should have ~$1700 remaining per month after all expenses which I will use to both pay down the cards and rebuild an emergency fund.
Any advice is much appreciated. If I am aiming for significant score boost in around 3 months should I distribute payments across each account, bringing their respective utilizations down? Or do I use the available funds to snowball these balances?

Forth, now here's where it gets good. The Emperor, further decrying Rampart, then twists the blame onto the clones. While Republic propaganda claimed that the clones were soldiers loyal to the Republic, they were in practice, loyal to their Generals and the Jedi, (whom the galaxy had recently seen destroyed by their hand). There was a large controversy regarding subjugation and rights abuses carried out by the clones throughout the war. This lead to the average citizen seeing them as a useful "other." Following the end of the war, Vice Admiral Rampart remarked that "Clone loyalty does not seem to be as advertised anymore." Now the Emperor was going to drive home that wedge of fear felt by the Galactic citizenry.

I am preparing my application for a PBS Dependant visa. My partner (who has a valid student visa) and I had lived together for two years prior to her departure for graduate school last fall. We currently own a home together in the US and split utility bills for it despite her living in the UK. Before we owned our current home, we lived together at a different address with friends. I am working on finding a copy of our lease agreement to "close the gap." I read the Home Office's guidance on this and believe I can put together a package of "strong evidence" documents that prove the durability or our partnership for at least two years (see p. 26).
Then, I filled out my visa application up to this point on the web-based application (i.e. Step 3, just after filling out the application). Under the "Other Documents" section it states that proof of our living together is required. Is this document the same as what is described in the guidance document I linked? If not, when do I submit the proof of our partnership?
*Side note: this comment from UKCISA strikes me as interesting. I'm wondering if anyone has any comment on it in the context of this question (e.g. will the web-based application be updated to reflect the loosened requirement)?

i cleaned up after them constantly. they brought bugs into our kitchen all the way up on the third floor they were so disgusting. they left dirty dishes out until they grew mold. they would build up a mountain of trash all over the kitchen and living room and never cleaned it. they smoked cigs inside and tried to lie about it for months. they literally moved out overnight. and so now I, currently between jobs, am responsible for 2/3rds of our last, current, and next excessive utility bills since it’s under my name and she won’t answer me. The company put the ex roommates employee ID number, and all of the other information for this person that I have including name dob address phone number etc on the writ of garnishment which has been sent to the payroll department.
My question is how do I then collect the garnished wages from payroll? I sent them an email before the weekend but know it takes them time to get to it. Since they have my address will they mail me a check? Do they send the payment to the court?

I recently got my first credit card in this country (USA) to boost my credit score. My short-term/intermediate goal is to increase my credit line from its current $500 to at least $1000 as I mainly want a credit card to be able to make it easier to hire car rentals And $500 is kind of too low for that. Ive had the card for 2 billing cycles now and have made sure to use it but have kept my usage to under 10% And have paid it off in full each month. My credit score has gone up as a result.
I saw on Experian that credit utilization is an important factor in your credit score and I saw online that an under 10% usage can really boost your score. My question is about how it is calculated? For example, if my credit limit is $500….
and I spend $40 on something using that card, but then pay it off mid month….
and then after paying it off I spend $20 on something using that card, and pay that off later in the month Before the billing due date….
Is my credit utilization under 10% as never at any point had I used more than 8% OR is my utilization actually 12% (the two purchases combined)?

I purchased a vehicle in February this year when my Fico 8 score was 542. Needless to say I got a very high interest rate of 28.99% on a 36 month note plus they tacked on an additional $2k fee on top of the vehicle price of $6,900 and made me purchase their gap insurance for $700. So I really got raked over the coals but I didn't have any other options. I put $1,500 down and currently owe $9,500. The upside is the vehicle was purchased from a dealership just wanting to get rid of the vehicle because they generally didn't sell those types of vehicles but it is in pristine condition and so they sold it way under book and it's current estimated value is about $11K so I'm not really out a lot of money, but will be if I just make regular payments for the whole term.
Most of my credit score was lack of credit and a few medical bills in collections and 2 accounts that were in collections but those medical collections were under $500 and have now been removed from my credit history and I contested both of the other collections and one got removed.
Since February my credit score has increased now to 640 because of a small loan I took out and using a chime credit builder card plus the auto loan and making all the payments on time. I just got a small secured credit card that should be arriving in a week or two so I can have some real revolving credit and something to report credit utilization which is still absent from my report so I'm hoping my score will still make some decent gains in the next few months until it begins to level off.
I'm in a position that I could be making double or more payments to my vehicle loan starting this month if I wish to, but there's some legal things I want to get taken care of which will require a lawyer which is $1,750 and also have that single $175 collections account I want to wipe off my credit soon too, but I keep getting these emails and advertisements that I could probably qualify for a refinance loan on my automobile.
I have 7 hard credit pulls from the dealership trying their hardest to use a different auto loan provider because they knew the interest rate with them is insane and the fees they charge, but all of those places rejected me for an auto loan and show on my credit as a hard pulls. Is it a good idea to start looking at refinancing options right now? Am I likely to get a much better deal than I already have? Is there usually a fee or something for a refinance that I should be aware of and consider? Will making several more hard pulls to my credit be detrimental? Should I wait for a few months to see if my credit will get even higher and have a little more credit history and then try? Should I be making extra payments to my loan now if I should wait to refinance?
I know that's a lot of questions, but I've only refinanced one vehicle a long long time ago and it was through the bank I had the original loan through when I told them I was considering refinancing my vehicle with another company and they said they would beat that rate by 2% if I stayed with them which they did end up doing. This current auto loan is through a predatory loan company that's located in another state from where I am so I'm not guessing they would have the same consideration if I went to them and they've already made 2k in extra from tacking it on my loan.

I had a roommate stay with me for two months that was not on the lease. We were supposed to split utilities and rent evenly. He was also on my phone plan. The last month he shorted me $200 for rent, he also owes $300 for his phone, and has not paid me for half of the utilities. What he did pay was in cash so theres no proof of payment either way. After he shorted me on rent and threatened my partner and i changed the locks to the house and said we can set up a time where he can come get his stuff because he said he did not want to pay the rest of rent and stay (i have this on recording). Just wondering if its worth my time to take him to small claims and if i will have to prove lack of payment for bills.

Contemplating moving out for the first time, have a job/s lined up, I was wondering if someone could make a list of things they have to pay in day to day life. I’d be renting, so there’d be weekly rent (hopefully getting one where utilities are included), groceries, phone and internet bill, petrol and car insurance. Is there anything I am missing?

I just thought about Sims 2 and how they used to have a Repo Man come to your home if your sims didn't pay their bills. I think that would be a cool feature to have added in LBY as a financial consequence. If your townie stops paying their bills or are in too much debt they can't pay back a Repo Man will come to seize assets.
If we end up getting some sort of justice system as a feature of LBY or a mod I'd like to see lawsuits be served for certain financial matters.
What's everyone thoughts on financial consequences or ideas for such?
Edit: I hope we get lots of businesses to choose from to get loans through, utilities, credit cards if that a thing, etc. Vs it just being one business doing it all so there'd be consequences of having a bad standing with one or more.
