Hey guys, just wanted to get some opinions on what I should do I a (23) male ended up running into a girl I had a thing with in the past. I ended up talking to her (22) female and we still seemed interested in one another. But every time I ended up trying to see her it was an excuse. This went on for a month or so. Today I got fed up with it and bluntly asked if she wanted me in her life and if I was wasting my time… she told me that she isn’t sure if she wants me in her life because she’s a changed person and wants to spend her time with her friends. Idk this sucks and was hoping people could give me some advise on what my next move should be about this problem I have. Thanks

I've been opening reddit for two days and it's more the criticism of the game itself than the appreciation for having created a good arpg. I was lucky enough to get an early access version, I started playing June 2nd at 8 a.m. and after three days, two characters (80 experience levels in total) and 20 hours of gameplay, I couldn't finish Act I because I get lost in exploring the map, completing dungeons, doing side quests, in short, enjoying the game (I want to clarify that I participated in all three betas, early/open/ sts). It is useless to rush the game, without enjoying it, and then criticize it. Everyone is free to express themselves as they wish, but a little criterion is needed.
It's an open world, right? What's the point in not enjoying the exploration part? It's as if, making a somewhat extreme comparison, on Elden Ring, you come to Margit The Fell Omen, underleveled, and get angry with the fact that "It's too hard"; how about discover the map and leveling a little before Stormveil Castel? Now, it's not a soulslike Diablo, okay, but if the developers implement a map that can be explored far and wide, perhaps, you have to use it, or not?

 | I always used to have short hair but tbh I just felt like a butch lesbian, when I am in fact a feminine man. So it was just wrong x2. Now I've been growing it out for 3 years. Had to cut a bunch off because it turns out my hair hates bleach 😭 but it's finally at long long. I'm 6 months on T, it was really hard to resist the urge to cut it early on when I thought it might be the difference between me passing or not. But I stuck it out and it finally feels like things are coming together. Never had this issue before, not a lot of insects, just the occasional ant or spider.
One of my parents live in a house and spiders are quite common there so rarely thought of it, so many points of entrances for spiders and the house is like half underground so some windows close to the ground so nothing strange when an insect comes in (it's built on a slope ish so we have three levels of garden). My other parent lives in an apartment and the only times insects have been in the house was when the balcony door is open during the summers and mom has all her plants there.
Now, I live alone, I have no plants, first floor apartment. My door is close to the grass outside, and I've noticed during the summers insects come into my apartment and idk how. Was hole the entire day yesterday studying, didn't go put once and this morning there was a spider crawling around. The occasional ant comes around about once a week or more and I don't understand from where. I deep cleaned my apartment the other day, and I clear regularly. I don't get why/how they keep coming in/showing up. I never keep the door open for more than just stepping inside. Any explanation or is this just the way of life?

My DX ADHD partner has real trouble sleeping on time. I can empathize but I really cannot understand why she keeps doing this to herself. Her normal spiral is too many things to do, then feeling guilty about not doing them, and ending up watching TV late at night and sleeping late. This has been going on for years now. And normally it wouldn't matter if someone sleeps late but my partner usually has a crisis also following this loop.
I am looking for any sort of help regarding this. It's starting to affect me mentally. I don't understand the train of logic that goes into this kinda of action and I don't understand how someone isn't able to fix this behaviour.

Hello there! I (f) have worked in this field of work (won’t specify as I don’t want anyone I know to see this) for around 2 years. I understand if you think this isn’t enough time to understand any job completely but I’ve seen pretty much every side of this job field now due to opportunities presented to me even if I wasn’t working at the highest rank I wanted etc. I know what this career field needs and it has sucked the absolute life out of me but I still do sometimes enjoy the work. I’m currently studying to get further in my training but even now I have no will to try and continue really. I have spent nearly every second of these times at work being taken advantage of. Working a load of hours and being flexible as possible. To be as vague as possible my current workplace I can’t spend a single day at my job without doing something wrong. But at my previous employment co workers told me how they were proud of how far I’ve come etc. all my confidence and my joy and my will to continue this field has been sucked out because I know every day I enter work someone will find something I do wrong (this will happen multiple times a day and is not the only thing but don’t want to get too specific) My self esteem is the lowest it has been in a very long time and at this point I have the option of trying to find a different workplace to work at in the same field or try something different. I’m leaning towards trying something different because even though I’ve always loved the work and enjoyed it, my confidence and trust in myself has been shattered and I can not keep functioning this way. But if I can solider on for the next yea year and half to get this training on at this job I’ll always have job availabilities wherever I want to go. Especially outside pressures as well expect me to just solider on and complete it so I don’t want to let anyone down.
So my real main question is. Do I continue at a job that makes me feel terrible to get my training completed or do I leave and change fields completely or do I just try to find another workplace to continue my training?

- bluetooth in-ears on the cheap side (under 40-50 bucks is possible, just for general listening on their phone)
- that have a wire between them (they are scared of losing true wireless ones because they often lose stuff)
- and here comes the tricky part, they dont like the feeling of rubber tips at all. for this friend the pinnacle of headphone design was the in ears with sponge/foam tips that did not go down your ear canal.
They understand and agree with the benefits of rubber tips and headphones that go farther inside the ear, mold to your ear, isolate etc. but they just hate the feeling so its an absolute hard no-go in that direction.
Are there any models available in Europe that dont have the modern rubber tip lodged inside your ear canal?

So I played this game very casually for about 250 hours, switched to Valorant when it came out, became pretty decent and now want to get more into CSGO again.
A lot of things carry over pretty well, but I'm having the most trouble with movement. In Valorant you don't have to counter-strafe at all so it's very hard for me to learn this mechanic and make it muscle memory.
Now my question is basically: what is the "correct" way to counter-strafe?
I always used to think (when peeking left) you hold A and when you want to stop you hold D as well, so you hold both keys. If you then want to strafe again you release one of the keys and repeat. Now recently I watched a video where they used a different method. They would hold A, then release the key and shortly tap the D key.
Are both of these methods fine, is one better than the other or should I just do what feels better to me?
