The whole thing was not great. The finale did not lead up to the hype. Season 1-3 are the greatest pieces of television possibly ever and they absolutely fumbled the bag season 4. There wasn’t a single scene that was corny as a result of improper writing s1-3 but almost every episode of season 4 has painfully cringey writing in the “high pressure” situations. All of season 4 feels like a family guy rewrite parody of the show. I felt this from the 1st episode. Every tom and gregg moment felt forced and cringe. The siblings banter felt like “hey fans we also remember their idiosyncrasies and inside jokes” season 4 felt like a parody of itself.

I am a newcomer to the perfume scene. I'm a 24 y/o male looking for a versatile fragrance which has a very good projection under 4k - 4.5k rs. I live in jodhpur, Rajasthan so the weather is hot most of the year. I already have nautica voyage and titan skinn raw edp. The nautica lasts for about 3 hours in summers with 1- 1.5 hr of decent projection. I dont want any more summer daytime fragrances. I need something long-lasting that can get me through evening outings with friemds, family functions in evenings and can hopefully fetch a few compliments. I found nothing too special about skinn raw edp but I liked the faint woody note in nautica voyage you get after drydown so maybe something which has that sort of vibe. I'm open to completely different scent profiles too. I know my budget is low so I'm fine with 50 ml bottles or even 30ml decants if they're worth it.

Hi, first time posting. Sorry in advance for the long post but I need some help. I don’t currently own a dog but am currently in the process of trying to adopt one. I met him for the first time today. Here’s the back story and the reason I’m asking for help:
This dog is a year old and has been at the shelter for the last 5 months. His previous family likely hit him as he is quite jumpy and easily startled by the movement of a hand or even adjusting your seated posture too quickly.
When I met him today, we took it very slow. The woman at the shelter and I sat in an outdoor play area with him. She told me to almost ignore him when we got inside and to let him realize that we are safe and to let him come up to me when he was ready. So that’s what we did. We talked for about ten minutes then eventually he came near me and sniffed from a distance. I hardly looked at him at first so as not to frighten him or feel like a threat. After maybe another ten minutes he took a treat from me and then he was circling back my way to receive a treat then would walk away again still unsure about me. That’s fine - it’s what I expected going in. Eventually after maybe 30 minutes we got to a point where he let me pet his chin. Then another 10 minutes later he let me pet his neck and top of his head. Between those two, there was a point where I reached toward him and he jumped. I must have moved my hand too quickly even though I felt like I was going slow. So I think he’s really been through it which just tears me apart.
Anyway, I went from sitting in a chair to sitting on the ground and still was giving him treats as he made his circles between me, some toys, and the shelter lady, giving some scratches here and there when he allowed. Then the shelter lady asked if I’d like to walk him which of course I wanted to. So she did a lap around the play area with him, then did another lap with me walking next to her. Then she handed me the leash and he and I did 3-4 laps together. He is a confident walker which I was excited about and he didn’t seem bothered that I was holding the leash. When we finished that we sat back down on the ground and it was back to him assessing the situation and doing his loops between us and some toys that were around. We were both encouraging him when he would pick up a toy and bring it near or squeak it and I could tell he liked that.
It was getting to be time for me to go but before I left I had the chance to see him do some zoomies and acting much more playful. It seemed like he had built up the courage to be himself in front of us! I loved seeing that big pit smile on his face! Before leaving I told the shelter people that I wanted to adopt him and she sent the paperwork my way.
A little while after I left the shelter, she messaged me that they pulled his file to read about when he was dropped off at the shelter originally and they found that there was mention of severe separation anxiety. The previous family vaguely mentioned that when left alone he was destructive and didn’t do very well.
I work in an office 3 days a week and work from home the other 2. Other than that I don’t go out much aside from a weekly 2.5 hour rehearsal that I have and the occasional haircut. Work allows a certain period of work from home time so I’d probably take the first 2-3 weeks of having him to just be home and get to bond and learn each others routines. I was planning to enroll him in a doggy day care/training type of thing on the days that I’m in office and then to be with him the other times. I wasn’t too concerned with him being shy and hesitant around people cause I feel confident that I can give him the space, time, and love that he needs to be able to open up and see the kindness in people. What worries me is the separation anxiety. Will I ever be able to leave him alone without worrying that he is breaking things or hurting himself? Can it be trained out of him over time? If he can’t be out free roaming, is it ok to keep him crated during those shorter periods (again 2-3 hours max) while I’m away or would that be even worse for his separation anxiety?
I should also mention that he is GREAT with other dogs. It’s really only people that bother him. There’s a bit of a warming period when he meets someone as described above but he gets along well with dogs. Am I cut out to be his person? Will my work schedule be too hard for him to cope with? I’m still really leaning towards adopting him, but I want to make sure that it is the best thing for him too and not only consider my personal feelings and want of a dog. I got such a good feeling from him when I saw him online and when I met him at the shelter and I just don’t want to let him down or make him think I don’t care for him during those times that I do have to leave or be apart. I have a 4 yr old daughter who is a single child. She hasn’t done any schooling yet so she hasn’t had much child socialization.
About a year and a half ago I made it a goal of mine to take her to a couple of the same park’s multiple times a week to maybe meet someone that we could schedule play dates with/ also just play with other kids for the day.
The first week she kept to herself but played while observing. I would call her over and encourage her to introduce herself but she just wouldn’t. The next week she found some courage and would go up to kids and say “ Hi! My name is _____, what’s yours?” Or “ Hi! Want to play?” They either just stared at her or would straight up run away. She cried. My heart broke for her but I continued to encourage her.
We finally met one family and the kids really clicked! I was so happy. We started hanging out a lot but after a few months one of the parents would start bringing up things my family does for a living here and there. I would try to change the subject as I feel some of the information is private and part of our family business and also they are still kind of strangers to us… Anyway they crossed a line for me one day so I have taken a step back from them.
We have made a few other acquaintances since then and have had play dates but I am always the initiator. If I don’t try, we don’t hear from anyone.
Today we went to a birthday party and there were sooooo many little girls. My child was SO excited. But she immediately started playing alone. She came up to me and asked if I wanted to play duck duck goose and I encouraged her to ask someone. She found a little girl who was walking and happily said “Hi! My name is _do you want to play with me??” And the little girl stared at her and didn’t say anything. My daughter continued “ I was thinking Duck duck goose, do you want to play?” And the little girl just walked away. Another little girl exchanged her name with her and my little one gently reaches for her hand and said “ want to run?” And the girl pulled her hand and walked away. Last, the birthday girl was by us and my daughter wanted to take a picture with her so we said “ ___ can (my LO) take a picture with you?” And her older cousin literally looked at my daughter, grabbed the birthday girls hand and ran away.
My heart is hurting for her. She is trying her best. I’m running out of excuses for kids being like this with her. I feel like she’s starting to not believe them as well. She is so sweet and quiet. She has such a caring silly personality but no one is giving her a chance.
I wonder if it’s me. I try to give her little pointers if needed but let her fly. I have zero friends myself so I am struggling on how to help her because I have had the same issues she’s having. I still do. But I try to be happy, calm and uplifting for her when these things happen.
I don’t know I guess advice would be greatly appreciated!

Last night, Me 17, my 11 yr old brother my mum and my dad were in the car going 100 down the freeway it was late at night. my mum and i were arguing with my dad who wouldn’t stop accusing us of something and wouldn’t back down. My dad then pulled over on the side of the road and told us he was going to get out and walk in-front of a car. I grabbed him screaming and crying hysterically. he didn’t end up getting out but he continued to scream and yell at my mum who was screaming back.
I told my brother that when we got home we would get in my car and we would leave because it wasn’t safe for us at home.
Once home we had to sneak out to the car and i started going out of the drive way when dad came running at me but i forgot to lock the door so he ripped it open and grabbed me and took the key out of the car. He then drove off. I was crying begging my mum to let me leave (mum and i have many arguments like this one) she kept telling me to come inside so we can talk. I refused and kept saying “i don’t feel safe can i please take you car and go somewhere”. She refused saying that she hadn’t started this and hadn’t done anything to me. I then asked for her keys and she said she didn’t know where they are.
Dad had taken all the keys for the cars so i couldn’t leave and get help.
Dad is back now and he apologised with a “sorry” and now they expect me to move on but the truth is i’m terrified and i’m sick of this never ending cycle.
context: i’ve had a really rough relationship with my parents since i can remember. They constantly fight over everything and anything with each other and with me and my little brother. I won’t get into details but the involvement of child protection services has been threatened multiple times, i’ve had to call police, and i had to go into hospital, if that clears things up.
My psychologists over the years since i was 13 have been pleading for my parents to get help, my parents in response have prohibited me from seeing them anymore.
i went into hospital last year for a couple weeks and have been in cahms since September. My psych at cahms has been the most important person in my life these past few months. she has done everything possible to help me with dealing with my parents. She’s tried family therapy and for them to get therapy but they refuse. She’s been tiptoeing over calling Cps because she doesn’t want to cause me and my brothers futher grief. Because my parents are refusing therapy my time at cahms is coming to an end.
My psych has done everything in her power to keep me as long as possible but she is now unable to push it back further. I have 2 sessions left over the next 4 weeks.
I don’t know what to do anymore she has been the only person who knows about this situation though my nanna has had to come up a few times to take me and my brother to her house to get away but that was a few months ago now and i couldn’t bare how much pain she has been put through having to see and hear what’s happening in my house. So i told her it’s stopped.
I’m lost i don’t know how to deal anymore and it’s not getting better if anything it’s getting worse.
I need to protect my brother he’s only a baby and this is unfair on him. I’m trying to comfort him and help him, I essentially parent him but it’s not the same. And he knows it. It’s breaking me.
So please i just need some advice what do i do?

i would say i am an introvert and i get socially anxious pretty easily. i am 19F and have never had much life experiences. i come from a very religious (muslim) household, and i am religious too. as a kid, my parents never trusted other people enough to let me go to their houses, i had only one birthday party and i went to only two birthday parties. as a teenager, my parents still didn't let me hang out with my friends, and at some point my friends gradually just stopped inviting me. when i got around 17 years old, i had probably been out with friends around 4 times, only to go shopping or to go watch a movie. now i go out more often, (maybe 2 times every month) but i have to ask permission first, and i can't stay out late. (after sunset) to cope, i made many internet friends, i play video games with them, text them, and call them on discord. but i still feel terribly alone. i have a best friend, which is an internet friend that lives in the same city as me. we see each other only a few times a year in real life but text everyday. i am grateful to have her. (i feel so bad that i can't be a normal best friend to her, that can be with her when she wants) from always only socializing online and rarely in real life, i think started to hide in my shell. meeting new people in real life and trying to make new friends literally make me panic. but i am okay with seeing my old friends (which don't even talk to me that much anymore since i never hang out with them) sometimes, i just turn off everything and don't talk to no one in real life. i go to school, avoid all my acquaintances the best i can, go home and only socialize online. i feel fucking pathetic, i am literally so lonely. i don't even take care of myself, if i don't have school, i just sleep too much or not enough, i lack on my hygiene in general, and i lock myself up in my room. i had an iron deficiency from not eating enough because of how stressed/depressed i was. and i also at some point gained around 10-15 kilos because of binge eating. in those moments, socializing is so exhausting and i feel like it's just best for me to stay locked up like this, i just feel comfortable in this mess. but sometimes, i just get terribly sad and depressed of how lonely i am, i realize that i do not have a solid friend group, i will have absolutely nothing to tell my kids and grandkids about the 19 years of my life. i start to get out of my bubble. i make enormous efforts to feel better, feel prettier, feel confident. i force myself to try and socialize, rebuild my friendship with old friends, try to approach them and try to plan some fun things to do. but still, my parents absolutely destroy that.
if i try to have a new style and buy new clothes, my parents will tell me how it's too flashy. not modest enough. not pretty at all in their opinion. they never ever compliment it. if i try to have new hobbies, they do not encourage me at all. they show absolutely no interests. they ignore me. if i try to tell them about how lonely i feel and how i do not have friends, and that i want to change it. they ignore my cries. ignore the times i literally cry all night, when i am in clear emotional distress. sometimes, everything is fine, i am still standing, and my mother just rants for hours how i am the worst child she could possible have, and that she doesn't know what she did wrong to god to have me. how can you say this to a child, and think they will be ok. i have heard those rants my entire life, it hurts.
recently, my old friends decided to organize a cookout and invited me. my parents let me because the friend lives a street away. (they never let me go to someone's house before) i was very hyped, those were the friends i wanted to rebuild a friendship with. i decided to prepare brownies and hamburger patties with halal meat for the muslim friends that will be there. my friend cleaned her barbecue, told the muslims they can cook the halal meat first so that it doesn't get mixed up with the pork or the other non halal meat. when my mother learnt that it would be a cookout with meat (no shit..) she immediately refused that i go. even if i explained that i would bring myself the halal meat, that there was absolutely no fucking way i would end up accidentally eating pork or non halal meat. that was just my last straw. all that might seem ridiculous and lame to some of you guys, you might just say wtf go live alone, just go without asking their permission, stuff like that. but i just can't, you can't understand how deep it is, i still love my parents (they are not as bad to me as you might think) and i do not want to sadden them by leaving or disobeying them. i know that there is a whole cultural and temporal barrier between my parents and i, but i want them to understand me, and i want to understand them. has anyone been in that situation? how did you get out?

*1. Back story, & relative info * Ex bf (36) & I (38) broke up on Christmas day. Throughout the 2 years of dating, he was violent with me 3 separate incidents, Christmas being the last time. He & I never lived together, however he lives up the street from me. I am situated on a dead end, & he is up the road, past the 4way stop sign. Our children are the same age & they are still friends. *2. Incidents in question *

Immediately after I broke up with him, he continued to call, text, & randomly show up to my house. He would say he's changed, & I rejected his request to get back together. After the advances stopped he tried to be the good samaritan, by coming to my house to tell me my tire looked low, or offer to take my kids with his kids to do things. In February, he randomly showed up, insisted that he run errands with me. I was scared to say no face to face. When he left, so that I could get ready, I called him explaining plans changed. Over the phone he begged me to let him drive me where I needed to go, & I declined. Less than 5 minutes later, he walked into my house, & went to my bedroom, where I was getting ready. He again begged me to let him drive me & I declined & told him he needed to get out of my house. Later that day I sent him a message saying that I wanted to have no contact with him, & he was making me feel uncomfortable. Since then, he will randomly drive down my road, turn around in my neighbors driveway & go back past my house. I've had company over, & I think since there was another vehicle in my driveway, he will drive down my dead end to see who it is. I stopped going to the local park to walk, because he started randomly showing up to the park. If I walk around the neighborhood, I will purposely avoid going down his road or near his house, but he'll randomly me as I'm walking. He's done this on 4 separate occasions. I had an old friend from hs who a man visit me & the ex bf sped past my house, peeled out in the neighbors driveway to turn around, then sped back in the direction of his home. 2 of my neighbors approached me saying that they see him driving by starting as early as 0530. Why I'm questioning the stalking allegation He has not contacted me since I asked him to stop in February He has not threatened me since we broke up I am more annoyed than scared. He is just making his presence known. Like non verbally telling me he is still here. It almost feels like intimidation but I'm angry about it, not fearful.

Transmaniacon MC - not my pick for an opening song and the crowd sat for most of it. But, it is the 1st song on their 1st record so it's very appropriate.
Before the Kiss - one of my favorites going back to the St. Cecilia days. always enjoyable to hear it live and sing along with the Buck. my wife thinks i'm nuts for knowing all the words start to end.
Golden Age of Leather - this was absolutely wonderful. what a treat and it sounded great and gave me chills. i've heard this only once before but knew it was coming from previous set lists. there was a very notable lack of tune from Buck and Eric when they sang anything together (not just this song) but when Ritchie and Danny did back up vocals the harmony's for all 4 were perfect. for me it was the first time i could find any flaw with their shows but c'mon man they are 75 / 77 respectively and i'm seriously impressed they can sing (and play) at such a high level. this song rocks and the boys did a great job.
That Was Me - Rightfully so, this features Richie Castellano. I was kind of surprised they did not feature Richie more throughout the night. he is fabulous even if his guitar is ugly.
Burning for You - before this, the crowd was not terribly into the show - i kind of think the opening act was the issue here, see below - until Burning for You. a lot of cell phones lit up and the crowd really was into the show the rest of the way. i'm glad this was a hit for them and they are kind of obligated to play it but i can think of 20 others i would rather hear.
Harvest Moon - Buck is the best. Period. they way he can play creepy / haunting that just fills the theater is unparalleled. not just on this but often throughout the show i was mesmerized. Sure Buck can play fast and he still can (impressive at 75), but this is what separates him from others and makes him the and cream of top and GOAT. this is the stuff that seems to get better with age. wow.
The Vigil - what a great composition and i love how they make it better live.
ETI - good as always and the sound was perfect - a BOC lover's song.
Train True (Lennie's Song): i'm not a big fan of this, it just doesn't seem to fit the band.
Last Days of May: Wow. this was worth the price of admission alone! my jaw dropped listening to Richie's lead - this guy can really play and he always impresses me. not to be outdone, Buck absolutely killed it for his extended solo. Richie can rock the song, Buck can rock your brain. his solo seemed endless and had my complete attention for the duration. Oh dear Lord, i love how he plays.
Godzilla - ok for me. they gotta play it but I sure missed Dominance and Submission and would trade them in this set list. Dominance is one of the top songs on the best record recorded since 1970.
Buck did an intro / solo thingy. i thought they might surprise us with I love the Night as i had seen this played only once before with a Buck intro and this sounded the same but it was really an intro for the Reaper. Buck can fill a stadium with such a big, big sound that haunts and entertains me completely.
Don’t Fear the Reaper - sounded great and i love it live.

Tatoo Vampire: Mr. Bloom stopped less than a minute into this and said he could not hear himself, so they went with Hot Rails, then added Cities on Flame (just guessing this was an in-game decision). This was quite unfortunate as i had not heard Tattoo Vampire before and it sounded fucking GREAT then Eric stopped it. huge bummer. i wish they would have fixed the problem then come back to it but time / contract restraints won't allow it.
Hot Rails to Hell - they rocked the fuck out of this - what a great encore, what a great song. I'm 62 and felt like 16 hearing this. these guys rock.
Cities on Flame - i think this was an in-game addition after Tattoo Vampire didn't work out. Buck put on a clinic here and did his magic one last time for the evening. Completely satisfying to end the show with this.
The late add of the opening act of Max Gomez was a mismatch from the start. he plays acoustic folk. he's good, just not meant for this crowd. he acknowledged it and it helped me to continue listening but it did not get anyone fired up for the Soft White Underbelly / Oaxaca / Stalk Forrest Group / Santos Sisters / Blue Öyster Cult.
These guys have entertained me for 53 years now...and counting. many dinosaur bands are not that great anymore and are just milking their couple of hits. Not true with Blue Öyster Cult. if you possibly can, go see these guys - they are still fabulous!

Hello, I’ll do my best to explain the situation in a concise manner. My Mother in law was dealing with an animal hoarding issue for many years. In 2019 we began the process of finding homes for 11 of her 13 cats. We were able to get the number of animals down to 2 cats and one dog. In 2021 my husbands Uncle offered to remodel the home which was in complete disrepair due to the animals destroying the interior of it. The house has since been completely remodeled but my husbands Uncle requested someone move in with my mother in law because he wanted to charge rent for the cost of the remodel. It’s a long story but he bought the home from my mother in law because she could no longer afford the expense so he let her live there rent free for years until the remodel took place. Last year my sister in law and her boyfriend moved in to help pay the rent and care for my aging mother in laws needs. Upon moving into the remodeled home an agreement was made with my husband’s Uncle and sister in law. The agreement was that only 2 cats and one dog would be allowed because of the previous damage that was done to the home. A contract was signed etc… We’ll about 2 months ago my sister in law took in her friends dog as a favor because the friend could no longer keep it, my sister in law let us know that it would be a temporary situation. The dog ended up having 4 puppies! My sister in law didn’t even know the dog was pregnant. So recently my sister in law let my husband and I know that her friend can’t keep the dog so she’d be keeping it as well as one of the puppies. I want to explain that my husband comes from a very tight knit Filipino family so involvement from everyone is a very normalized thing, and a lot of responsibility has fallen on him being the eldest. It’s just him and his sister.
We carved out 3 years of our life de-hoarding animals, de-hoarding 40 years of stuff and helped manage the remodel.
It had to be done because it was very unhealthy.
Anyways… So now there will be 3 dogs and two cats within the home. The whole goal was to make sure this sort of thing never happened again and to offer my mother in law a clean environment.
My sister in law said she would just hide the animals when their Uncle comes over to visit and that he would never know. My husband and I were very upset upon hearing this news and my husband told my SIL that she shouldn’t be bringing more animals into the home. She’s unwilling to listen so we feel it would be best to let his Uncle know what’s going on.
My question is does that seem fair? Or should we just wash our hands of it and let it be?

I started playing Diablo with Diablo 3, so I fell in love with the epic storytelling and the cinematics, (as well as the gameplay) especially the cinematics with the angels, as in Tyrael vs. Imperius, or Imperius vs. Diablo. In Diablo 4, the only real cinematic with an Angel (Inarius) is where he cries for help and gets stabbed by Lillith, even though he knew she was still alive. "Words will not save you" This is where his dialogue should've ended. Don't mention the horrible storyline of Elias...
Compared to Diablo 3, Diablo 4's story didn't catch me at all apart from a few scenes, and I was always looking forward to the great fight/reveal or Cinematic which would blow me off my socks, but killing Elias was as hard as killing any other Rare Mob, and then having him be beheaded by a f*ing raven was the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. We've never even got to hear his whole story, it just felt like they didn't know what to do with his character, so they just made something up along the way and then let us kill him as a side boss.
Killing Lillith at level 46 was easier than killing Astaroth at level 20+, and I thought this couldn't be it, surely we will have something comparable to Diablo or Malthael by having to kill Mephisto, but it just ended there. Storytelling-wise it was a great ending, with the tombstones, and Lorath paying his last hommage, but the fight was disappointing.
If you only played D3 as well, what did you guys think of the story compared to Diablo 3's? Did you like the subtle way, or did you expect something grandiose like in D3? And if you're a veteran D1, D2 player, leave your opinions as well with a disclaimer.

Last Friday, I visited a bar in Oakland and tried a few of their signature cocktails. One of the drinks listed in the classic cocktail section was "The Last Word," priced at $19. Intrigued, I decided to recreate the cocktail at home a few days later. For fun, I calculated the cost of the ingredients (3/4 oz. equal part): Chartreuse was $1.8, gin was $0.9, Maraschino was $1.5 (I had a 375ml bottle that cost me $25), and a lime was $0.5. This brought the total to $4.7. However, the main point of my post isn't about the cost, but the taste. I found that the flavor of the Maraschino liqueur was overpowering, overshadowing all the other components of the drink

context: i’ve had a really rough relationship with my parents since i can remember. They constantly fight over everything and anything with each other and with me and my little brother. I won’t get into details but the involvement of child protection services has been threatened multiple times, i’ve had to call police, and i had to go into hospital, if that clears things up.
My psychologists over the years since i was 13 have been pleading for my parents to get help, my parents in response have prohibited me from seeing them anymore.
i went into hospital last year for a couple weeks and have been in cahms since September. My psych at cahms has been the most important person in my life these past few months. she has done everything possible to help me with dealing with my parents. She’s tried family therapy and for them to get therapy but they refuse. She’s been tiptoeing over calling Cps because she doesn’t want to cause me and my brothers futher grief. Because my parents are refusing therapy my time at cahms is coming to an end.
My psych has done everything in her power to keep me as long as possible but she is now unable to push it back further. I have 2 sessions left over the next 4 weeks.
I don’t know what to do anymore she has been the only person who knows about this situation though my nanna has had to come up a few times to take me and my brother to her house to get away but that was a few months ago now and i couldn’t bare how much pain she has been put through having to see and hear what’s happening in my house. So i told her it’s stopped.
I’m lost i don’t know how to deal anymore and it’s not getting better if anything it’s getting worse.
I need to protect my brother he’s only a baby and this is unfair on him. I’m trying to comfort him and help him, I essentially parent him but it’s not the same. And he knows it. It’s breaking me.
So please i just need some advice what do i do?

I bought a house with a dual waterfall on hill in my backyard 4 years ago. For the first couple of years it worked fine. I pulled the pump in the winter and in removed all the leaves and debris, powerwashed the whole thing, reinstalled the pump and then rinsed/replace water until the whole thing ran clear.
Last year I did that and I discovered the pipe on one side of waterfall was cracked and was leaking water so the whole system didn't work. I had someone out and they replaced a section of pipe so that side didn't leak. I was not home when they came out and did the work. When I turned the system on to test it was immediately apparent that while they did fix the side that they came out to the other side was having an issue now too. The volume of water was much lower and just a trickle. I called the same company to come back and long story short they did and did something but essentially said they didn't build the system and didn't know what was wrong with the other side but that there was probably a rock stuck somewhere (which I don't see how as there is no way one could make it in there, and it would be an additional charge to fix it. I said yes and they clearly didn't want to do the work so never came out again as they said they would. These guys had a ton of 5 star ratings. I didn't find someone else as it was already near the end of the season at that point.
This season I'd like to get it fixed or fix it myself. The working side is higher up the hill and has a ~3" line with a ball valve in the middle that seems to control the flow on that side only, presumably to be able to match the volume to the other side. The non-working side has a ~2" line. Water is VERY slowly filling the spill box and out in a trickle so some water is getting up there. There are no indications of a leak anywhere I can see. Does anyone have an idea what it might be? I will call another pond company but I'm wondering if would be a good idea to call a plumber and have them scope it from the spill box?

A couple of weeks ago, I upgraded my GTX 1080 to a 4070Ti, which is installed in my Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming 5 with a Ryzen 5700x and a Thermaltake 750w PSU.
Last night I shut it off after a gaming shesh - all good no issues. Today I power it up and the board is stuck at code 99 which stands for Super IO Initialization. The board also has 4 LEDs that show what device it's trying to init and it seems to be stuck on the VGA part.
So far I've tried:

• Clearing CMOS
• Trying backup BIOS (board comes with two BIOS)
• Installing my old 1080 back

All have the same results. If I try to power it on without any GPU, the board shows code d6 which indicated no output device detected - so at least it gets to that part of the boot process.
Any ideas where to go from here?

In my dream I met up with two childhood friends I haven't seen in years; Carlos and Shakare. We are all equally friends (one of those really fun trios) and I told them that we should all trip together. Carlos has anxiety in real life that is so bad he can't even handle THC and for some reason that is beyond me I persuaded him to try LSD in the dream. Note that in real life I am aware that LSD and psychedelics in general are not for everyone, and I would never push LSD upon someone, ESPECIALLY not someone who has any underlying psychological issues. But this was a nightmare so I guess my brain needed to thrown in some nightmare fuel.
Carlos eventually decided to try it with Shakare and I, so we made our way up the steps of an abandoned parking garage, and by the time we made it to the tenth level the acid was kicking in HARD. I have no idea how I can have dreams of tripping on acid that feel like the actual thing, but my brain does an amazing job at simulating both good and bad trips, even though I have never had a bad trip in real life.
Shakare was having the time of his life, riding the wave of the beginning of the trip and watching the sunset. Carlos was beginning to feel anxious, and so was I. Not only because Carlos was most likely going to have a bad trip, but because Shakare was sitting on the very edge of the concrete platform we were standing on. His feet were just freely dangling over this edge. There were zero fucking guard rails. He sat there for a while, smiling, moving his hands as a hippie would, just feeling the euphoria of oneness with the universe, and for a moment my fear subsided at the sight of him. It was heartwarming to watch, and then he leaned forward a little too much, and lost balance, and before he realized he had leaned past the point of being able to save himself, it was too late. My heart dropped right before he fell, and I knew without a doubt he was dead. Carlos witnessed it too, and I immediately started sobbing uncontrollably, wondering why the fuck I had the brilliant idea of bringing up LSD to begin with, and being responsible for not only the death of a close friend, but the shared trauma between Carlos and I. The dream was extremely vivid but the pain and horror of losing a friend so suddenly after what felt like such a heartwarming and somewhat peaceful moment was so jarring I woke up gasping for air. I was so happy it was just a dream, and it took me a few seconds to calm myself down. It was like that feeling you get when you almost get into a high speed car crash but dip out of the way at the last second.
Moral of the story: Don't trip on top of high places. Even if you are comfortable with the location, accidents happen, and psychedelics have an extremely fun way of being unpredictable even for veterans like myself.
My golden rules for tripping have always been:

1. Never trip with someone you wouldn't take a bullet for.
2. Never trip in public unless you are within walking distance of your home or a safe place.
3. Never mix too many drugs together.
4. Never peer pressure someone into doing psychedelics. Let only curious people try them.
5. Never introduce someone to LSD on a large dosage. That is like chugging an entire bottle of whiskey as your first time drinking alcohol. Start with introducing them to microdosing in a SAFE place or a place that they are extremely familiar with.

Break any of those rules and you could face a lovely panic attack, jail time, psychotic episodes, trauma, and/or broken friendships.
