In December I had both lobes pierced after much research finding a ‘good’ piercer. She pierced my right lobe perfectly but my left one is on a steep angle and it’s not healing, it keeps seeping white liquid and swelling up whereas the other one is no trouble. I’m not happy as this is the third time having my lobes pierced and I just wanted it to turn out well. She used a needle and they’re implant grade titanium flat back studs
Should I: Remove it and get it repierced later (how long do I wait to have it repierced?)

As a vision on stage, the speaker’s machinations were there for all to see – the whirring of gears and belts, the clanking of chains. Where his heart chakra was thought to manifest, swung a pendulum.
The nature of natural life is not an easy expertise to build a vocation around – Life! Exclamation point! – but what a sentence to say aloud. Or – perish the thought – they succumbed to an unholy pact at a vulnerable moment. I have taken it upon myself to sniff them out – and when he says this, the regulators above his eyes both arch significantly. And what then? You climbed aboard a 3-wheeled vehicle that could travel at more than 50mph, completely lacking a seatbelt, headrest, or protective frame – without a helmet, boots, or jacket – and the brakes were less than half there that fateful day, a means of slowing down – a vehicle that would be rendered illegal to operate within a matter of years of the accident . . . the accident . . . remember the accident? August, you were traveling off-road to do farm work, the cornfield you were riding beside with several rows chopped out for silage, and on impulse, you decided to turn into the field to see where it went, then really opened her up because of the green blur of all that corn. Did you secretly expect the drainage ditch? Was this more of a suicide mission? Over the side you went, face first into the opposite bank, and if anyone was wondering – the effect was not of pain but of the lights going out all at once. Imagine the nature of reality that allows for: the inevitability of the crash, followed by all the lights going out – this is really happening – followed by some utterly absent experience, like a film editor cutting in a blankness where reality normally insists scenes of existence should be. The film projectionist would have been instructed to fast-forward through this part of the film, such that no time seems to pass, and the next thing we know, he is trying to push a 3-wheeler out of a drainage ditch. That thing weighing more than he does, and he’s trying to heave it above his head, up and out of the drainage ditch. What had he become? What time-wise tricks were in play? He finally gave up trying to free torment from its channel, staggered through the field toward the truck, face covered in blood, never went to the hospital. When the story is recounted later by his dad, the story became how dad fixed the 3-wheeler by prying the front wheel out of the frame with his truck and a chain. Can you imagine that chain now? They called it a log chain, and the links were cast iron. It was completely covered in rust.
The author knows all this already, receives a spiritual visitation during the writing of the phrase suicide mission, wondering if he’s okay. Yes, he replies, knowing this particular metaphysical weather report has a lot of ground to cover. Today’s guest speaker picks at one of his stems in a distracted way, lets the matter rest, inquires about whether – uh-hum! – he might be permitted to carry on. The author gets up, refills his coffee, returns to one of the picnic tables arrayed in front of the derelict peace church where he lives. He is surrounded by millions of individual affirmations of life, many of which are visibly in bloom or going to seed. A bumble bee flies by. Uh-hum! How many more brushes with death would the author experience before it finally took? There was the time a few years later, same farm but different brother, taking turns firing a handgun at a target. This would be the last time he would fire a gun for any reason, was it not? They climb into the brother’s wedge-shaped sports car, named after the grasping part of a bird of prey, and into fate’s hands did fly. The car was totaled, the two of them, without seatbelts or airbags, unhurt inside the crumpled remnants of the crash, mere inches from winding up once more inside drainage infrastructure, this one built by municipal authority, and therefore of a substance that would have been altogether worse on an unsuspecting traveler headed straight down. Yes, you might have been saved from becoming the remains of the day – but by what?
The child who caused the crash, the one who pulled out in front of that bird of prey, barely old enough to drive, who had two younger passengers inside with him, taking them out for ice cream maybe – that young driver sat nearby while police sorted out the story. He was crying on the side of the road like he would never stop, like he had identified the crash as the latest in a series of personal failings that would stretch into the future of his adulthood like a hot blacktop road and which, at every stop along the way, tragic suffering would be the font of consolation. Was this the way reality was supposed to work? The author recognized the boy as himself at an earlier age, bent down beside him, put a hand on his shoulder, and said, you will be okay. No one was hurt, and the rest can be replaced – your heart is true, and your soul will find its relief.
Ah, yes, the crash, says the author – ah, yes, the crash. Ah, yes, the crash, says the author – ah, yes, the crash. Ah, yes, the crash, says the author – ah, yes, the crash. The late days of spring may be the most forgotten of the year. If we aren’t anticipating summer – it’s still spring? – then we’re longing for those moments when the world was still opening its mouth, and then its eyes, and then its hands. Is death something one develops a knack for? The next notable death in the author’s life occurred a few years later – the death that would make dying into a full-time vocation. And where again do we find the author? Beside a drain. This one introducing the age of indoor plumbing, as the author lay on the floor of a friend’s bathroom, his life flashing before his eyes, as he vomits into a toilet. This time the world does not go dark all at once but feels like fuses blowing out, like a timed demolition, flashing like a string of firecrackers across the structural frame of a building, and a voice not his own telling the author: you’ll be okay, ride it out, remain present, you’ll be okay.
Would he though? For this fourth death, another blank spot appeared, no two – two instances of nothingness, orbiting each other, during which time, during which time, during which time – perhaps language hasn’t the proper security clearance to convey the negotiations that must have taken place to bring about a return to the living. The author remembers his friend opening the bathroom door, before which she would have been knocking and calling his name. When the door struck him in the back, and he came back to life, had he landed in the place where that drain did lead? While his friend cleaned up the bathroom floor with a towel, he sat on a bed with his hands covering his face. The hideousness he’d just passed through was the abbreviated version of what was to come – he knew the drill by now. The knot on his forehead was gone.
Destiny had finally shown him to his home, gave him a tour of the place, before scraping him off the floor, then setting up a series of baffling crises – from autumn 2002 to May 2003 – that would occupy the author’s attention for decades to come. The will toward dying had finally brought the world to life, and the mind of the universe was both ecstatic and enraged about it. Down there, at the bottom of the drain, they were fighting a global war on terror, war on terror, war on terror, and if wars on terror sum up preferred formulations of self-annihilation – symbol of invocation: fighting a reflection – then perhaps the author’s presence was meant to form a mirror-in-mirror infinity from which sustainable futures would emerge. Welcome to Mirror World! Where reflectivity gives us an evolutionary future! Where a universal narrative unfolds!
The author is making me write this, I must confess, but to everyone’s surprise, I am forcing the author to make me! The author is mine! And the author wrote that, too, I must additionally confess, and the two of us go around and around like this – symbol of invocation: two snails having sex in midair. The flatness and hardness we associate with reflectivity is something we will all outgrow eventually, and the hologram of hyper-reality will appear within our being like a flying saucer, and we will all be both abductees and witnesses, shown around the universe in style. Too much to ask? The last such alien contact – the insinuation of verbal and mathematical language into the genome of big-brained primates – gave us the keys to earthly reality. We are now exiting the stone age, evolving the means to make benevolence a fixture of human life.
The author made me write that, too, and even though I am just as surely making him write this, we must admit the mutability within the fabric of reality was not won without a struggle. The author faced death 11 times that year, faced death the next year, and the year after that. Each point along the way wanted to finish what the others couldn’t, and soon death felt like an echo, and in that moment of not really distinguishing the source and the reflection – when they both look somewhat the same – he could tell life and death were likewise difficult to discern. Life! Exclamation point! Are you merely an extension of entropy? A quicker way of dissipating the heat from a rocky-bodied planetoid like the earth? And if you are, then is life really just another form of death? But death! Didn’t you show us the way? Wasn’t dying the source of the cure?
Today’s speaker made me write that, just as I made him think it. And as thoughts passed from gear to gear around his body – as cuckoos sprang forth through tiny doors at various angles – as a series of chimes and tones issued forth from the stage like the ringing of a bell, if the bell could tell time and was tolled by committee – then the river of the natural lifespan, subject of such grand speculation in a previous incarnation, could now take its course. Perhaps indeed valleys would flood, but such is the natural origin of certain fertile fields. Springtime couldn’t agree with me more, its will toward abundance glad to splay its fingers before another epic growing season. As the author considers ways to wind up this report – knowing such lived truth inspires concern – whether death equals life or life equals death, he reasserts a will toward world peace.

21 y/o female just graduated college in one of the more “you need to be on your shit soon because it could affect people’s lives” majors. Nursing. I started drinking freshman year of college, which turned into weekend drinking, which turned into every other day/daily drinking alone, in my room, for 3-4 years. I’m 150 pounds now, and came into college at 125, which i know for a fact has all come from sugary alcoholic beverages. I’m well aware that drinking sucks, based on how it makes me feel and how long it takes to recover. I have a family history (Dad, and paternal grandmother [deceased], both undiagnosed but we’re Hispanic and the whole family just knows.) I don’t want to be an alcoholic. I find the term “alcoholic” sometimes difficult to identify with because im not drinking whiskey on the rocks at 2pm on my lunch break. I’m not doing the dad-like alcoholic things, or pouring spirits in my morning coffee. I drink white claws from the gas station alone in my room at 8pm while I do “self care” and watch movies and clean my bathroom. But I’m more than well aware that three tall boy white claws everyday with the excuse that “I did something good today, so I deserve it” is probably alcoholism. I took longer than I wanted to to finally get on naltrexone, because I was worried about my parents insurance and the EOB (explanation of benefits) getting back to them, and even finding a doctor in my college town (far far from home). I read some threads and found out about web doctors. I booked a consultation and had a prescription at my local pharmacy the next day.
Here’s where the question starts. I’m starting on 25mg (half a tab) for 2 days, then a whole tab or 50mg everyday. I’m choosing to follow TSM, so instead of everyday, I think I’ll take it just when I know I’m about to drink (an hour before). Today is day 2, so I’ve completed my two halves. Yesterday was awful. I felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest, and I threw up because I knew the feeling to throw up was there (I basically gagged on purpose to get it over with—I don’t usually throw up). I could’ve held it but I didn’t. I don’t know if I blame the meds yet, because I was hungover, so it could’ve been that too.
Anyway. I’m on day 2 and I’ve drank both days because doc said not to stop cold turkey. Also, most videos I’ve seen said to drink as you normally would and wait for the effects. My question comes here. I’m drinking, as we speak on day 2. And I don’t feel the “you’re gonna think your drink is gross and it’s gonna take you forever to finish a single drink” feeling. I don’t feel drunk, but I’m still thoroughly enjoying my drinks. In fact , I’ll definitely open one or two more before bed. Am I doing something wrong? I’m definitely asking this so prematurely but I’m worried that the medication I’ve literally had dreams of being on isn’t going to work for me. And I need so badly for it to work. Is it going to take a lot more time?

Theres this girl in my class that was actually our class president and for some unexpected turn of events we became really close and belonged to the same friend group. We hit it off as bestfriends because of how much we seem to fit each other well and we really enjoy each others company. We decided for fun to pretend to be a thing because weve got nothing else better to do. Over time I started to have feelings for her but I kept it hidden since I dont want to ruin the good that we already have. She ended that talk by saying that I should never think that I mean nothing to her and that I am the best person for her ever since we started our college life. Fast forward a few months and weve come to be closer than ever before and somehow I noticed that shes starting to get quite clingy with me. I have no idea if this is just how she is but all I know is that I enjoy every moment we have together. We also belong to the same organization which contributed to how often wed spend time together and foolish as it sounds I admit I've been starting to give her the princess treatment even though were not really together. After a while we had to attend a certain event in the organization which lasted till late at night and we still have things to do by tomorrow. Now, our school is really far from our hometowns and it was summer vacation so we didnt have much choice on where to stay so we rented out a room for ourselves. We laid down next to each other and ended up making out that night. We were sleep deprived that night so we didnt get to talk much after. We went back home and had a long rest. Although we didnt get to homerun since she said she doesnt want to, I did leave a few marks by which she got mad at me by the morning. I also tried to convince her to shower together which she adamantly refused. After that she began to ignore me the whole day and I was profusely apologizing but she just continued to ignore me. I made a bag of peace offering with a mini bouquet of flowers I picked around our school and a few snacks that I think she would like. She refused so I snuck it inside her bag. We had a chance to talk even though she really wants to go. She told me her parents might kill her if they see the marks but she will be okay. She asked me for time and space which I did since I want us to be okay. Its been a few days now and shes still not talking to me and Im confused as to what I should do. Should I keep on waiting without reassurance? Should I message her every now and then to check up on her but also running the risk of setting her off? Im not really sure what to do. I asked for insight from the friend we stayed with and she told me to give her time. The friend said she told her she felt like a sinner and was scared that the friend was judging her since its her first time doing dirty things. The friend also told me she told her she wasnt mad at me. Overall she told me to be patient and avoid annoying her. So here I am waiting for maybe a miracle without knowing what happens next. I really like that girl and I'd bear it as a huge regret if she would hate me or start avoiding me after what happened. Shes a very prideful woman so I probably wont expect that she would chat me first even though I told her to come back whenever she feels comfortable. Im getting more and more anxious the longer she doesnt talk to me again but I cant start conversation yet since it might be too early but if it takes too long she might no longer come back. What should I do?

TL;DR I have a bestfriend who I really liked and is really special for me. I made a move on her one night and now she is asking for time and space. I dont know how long it would take or what should I do or if I should really do something instead of waiting it out. Getting a bit anxious.

Ok I need to vent a little bit and because I know there is no solution about it…
Some people may think I’m too dramatic but I’m still pretty shook up by the experience.
I was walking on my street on the way to the park with my 1 and half year old kid. It was 6pm and still daylight. I live on a narrow residential street, one way with a bike lane on one side and four speed bump on this section, in front of a school and the speed limit is 30km at all time. I was about to cross the street, when two cars were racing down the street. Luckily I heard them (their accelerations were super noisy) and I had time to step back and grab my kid!
I didn’t have time to see them coming! They were driving at 60-70km at least. And right in front of us the one behind try to pass the other one because there was no car parked in front of the school! However, as he was getting on the bike lane he almost run over a bike!
It’s a very quite and safe neighborhood, my kid who barely learnt how to walk usually wander by itself, to pet the cats on the street, smell the flowers and says hi to all the neighbours. I usually don’t let my kid go in the middle of the road, but you never know what a child might decide to do! And today, I was getting ready to cross, I was just waiting for my kid to reach for my hand so I could carry it in the other side, then…. Vroouuum
I just had time to grab my kid and jump back in the sidewalk! I had my phone in my hand so I took pictures as they passed by… they were the fast I only got their rear from far away. I was so pissed and scared for our life that it took me 10min to stop shaking! But I didn’t wait that long to call 911 and give them the plate number of one of the car!
Am I overreacting? I mean everyone saw those news about killed during street racing, and here it’s during the day, near a playground/school in a residential neighborhood!!! I mean what’s the hell!
So o call 911 but there is little chance they do anything because “they have other priorities”! I guess those guys will have to kill another kid before they become a priority! WTH! I even thought about trying to get the info of the car owner and post it online but I don’t know how to get it… and maybe that would be too much!
After today, I don’t feel safe anymore, I feel those crazy story can happen to me (I know it now)! What can I do!

Getting a little freaked out reading the horror stories on this sub.
DOT 10/17. Applied expedited renewal on 5/30. In process 6/2 and check cashed 6/5. Locator 42. I know I have a long wait ahead of me. If the 7-9 weeks is to be believed then I should get it in time with about a month to spare however I've been reading these horror stories on hear of people who expedited and are waiting 6+months.

I (20 f) and my boyfriend (20 m) have been in a relationship for a bit over two years now. We have always had communication issues and have been slowly working on it throughout our relationship, although we have had bigger issues surrounding his constant habit to lie to protect himself. I have caught him bad mouthing me to his friends on his phone during arguments looking for validation for his feelings and down playing his actions and portraying me as a villain.
For example, we had a blowout argument about when I’m talking to him he answers me as if he’s listening and at the end after I have listed everything about my feelings and other things about our relationship. I wait for his response and he starts talking about something completely unrelated or irrelevant which starts an argument about if he’s listening and he tells he didn’t hear me and didn’t tell me but let’s me keep talking anyway. It ended in yelling and he just wanted to go home to think about it but I said I know you’re just gonna go home and play games and not talk about it seriously later ( as this has been proven in the past) he then proceeds to get on his phone texting while arguing with me that he really will think at home and he just needs time to think. I said if you leave we’re over because I knew he wasn’t taking it seriously and was gonna forget about it when he goes home. Fast forward to me seeing on his phone something about how I’m being annoying and not letting him go home to play games and how I’m being a bitch for not letting him play with the boys. He just told them he messed up and I got annoyed about it. I asked him flat out if that’s how he views and thinks of me and he denied he said it until I grabbed his phone and showed him the evidence and then he admitted he said it after an hour of arguing. He left to get me flowers and chocolate and straight after giving it to me he said can I go now.
That was just an example of how far he was willing to lie and his priorities. Since then we have made it a rule to not share our relationship problems to anyone without having it discussed and solved with each other first. A couple of weeks ago we were arguing about something minor and I saw on his phone he was messaging of his friends after our argument but when I went to lean on him for cuddles he flipped his phone away so I went to grab it to see what he was hiding and was shielding his phone away as much as he could before I grabbed it. He said he messed up and couldn’t play games with his friend tonight and his kept asking him what happened and why, he didn’t take much for him to break and told him he screwed up with communicating with me properly and issues with the past and that I got upset by it. He was deleting messages and so was his friend and i confronted him about it and he swore up and down he didn’t and that he was being honest, to trust him, and even had a panic attack about me not believing him. We argued for three hours and until i threatened to leave him right there and then he told me.
Sorry this is getting too long but I’m just confused on our next steps moving on. We resolved it although I can’t stop thinking about it. If anyone has any advise or been in a similar situation what can I do? He has anxiety and issues with communication where he shuts down and doesn’t communicate his thoughts or feelings properly.
If someone could give me anything to help that would be much appreciated.

Okay, so this is about a music video that I've seen *once* on TV but somehow never forgot. I'm trying to keep this as short and concise as possible, but my memories are incredibly foggy.

Description of the music:

Not sure what to call the genre, but somewhat dreamy pop? If I had to name similar artists I'd say something like Enya or Björk (more on that later). I don't remember what the beat/tempo was like, but it had to be slow with long, gentle synthies.
You can hear a singer, that I am 70% certain to have a male voice, singing and humming in an emotional but gentle way. The voice was not deep and raspy but quite clear and smooth. If I had to point to a similar sounding voice, i would say "Angel" by Massive Attack. I will refer to this voice as Voice 1 from now on.
Also, there was a female-sounding voice that sounded somewhat more aggressive and I am sure that you could mainly hear it during the chorus? Anyways, before I forget: To me the female voice didn't sound like she was speaking a language or singing lyrics, but more like chanting weird gibberish (Which is probably because I couldn't understand the language, more on that later). If I had to compare it so something, imagine the chorus of "Adiemus" by Karl Jenkins, but slower and more angry/creepy. I wouldn't completely rule out that it was some kind of throat singing, but that is very speculative. This Voice will be called Voice 2 from now on.
Language? Ok, the more I think about it, the more uncertain I become. I don't think it's likely that the song was in english, but I wouldn't completely rule it out either. It was certainly not german (because that's my mother language). I have reason to believe that the song might be Turkish or Greek. I'll explain later. Clarification: When I say the song might be turkish, it is not "traditionally turkish" with turkish instruments and scales etc. this is *only* about the language of the song.
Instruments? No clue. There could be acoustic guitars or something of similar gentleness, all I remember are long, gentle synthie pads.

Description of the music video:

So this is, what keeps popping up randomly in my head for more than a decade now. There are two pictures that I simply can't forget:
1) A woman with green skin, covered in leafs is climbing around tree branches in some kind of jungle or forest or oasis. Her movements are slow and somewhat threatening and she is always visible, when Voice 2 is singing. In my head I call her the "poison ivy girl" because her costume/design reminds me of her a lot. I don't remember any hair color. Imagine one of these Na'Vi people, but green, creeping around in the forest. Important detail: It's very likely that the woman is a real actor, but it is likely that her surroundings are CGI.
2) Three people, wearing cloaks and some sort of futuristic headgear. It is very reminiscent of R2D2, metallic white, with circuit-looking patterns and small lamps and stuff. I call them the "wise ones" and they appear multiple times throughout the video. They don't do anything afaik, they just stand next to each other and look at something outside of the frame. I remember these 3 people appearing in a completely different, desert-like setting, other than the poison ivy girl. That's why I mentioned 'oasis' earlier. I have a strong feeling that a majority of these scenes are CGI, with the possibiliy that they are real, human actors.

Why 1980s-00s? So, back in 20something, when I saw the video, both the song as well as the video already looked and sounded "old" if you know what I mean. I am dead-certain that it's from pre 2010, and judging by the CGI it shouldn't be older than 1980s. 1985 at most. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a 90s thing.

Important context:

So I watched the video between 2006 and 2009 on "iMusic One", which used to be a german TV-station playing only music videos. Once MTV and VIVA played less and less music, iMusic One tried to fill that niche. The station later was renamed to "iM1" and there is barely any info available about them anymore, besides this german wikipedia article and a handful of short newspaper articles.
The reason why this is interesting, is because iM1 had some sort of catalogue of music videos, and the viewer could pick the music video they wanted to see, and add it to the queue by sending an SMS with a corresponding code (for a boatload of money, of course). This means, that if someone was able to find that catalogue, the search might be a lot easier. But I couldn't find anything, I wouldn't even know which person to contact. Since the TV Station went bankrupt in 2014 they basically completely vanished from the face of the internet.
The second reason why this is interesting, is because there are many germans of turkish origin and it wasn't uncommon to see turkish music being queued on iM1. That's the reason why I consider it to be more likely that the song might be a turkish or mediterranian one. I wouldn't bet my entire money on it though, iM1 had a very diverse music rotation and songs from all over Europe, as well as the songs that used to be popular at the time were featured. It honestly was the best way to discover new music before Lime[redacted] :P and there were a lot of videos (such as the one I'm looking for) that would never have been played anywhere else at that time.

Things to rule out:

Anything german.
I am not familiar with Enya's entire discography, but I doubt that it's her, even though the vibe matches. When in doubt, just suggest something and I'll double check.
It's probably not any big name such as Massive Attack either. It also wasn't a popular chart song during 2006-2009. I doubt that this song charted anywhere tbh.
I'm not a huge Björk-Nerd, but I once clicked through all her music videos and didn't find what I was looking for. Note: The "All is full of love" video by Chris Cunningham is certainly not it, but it still has robots in it and the same, relaxed vibe. I once talked to a friend about this and they instantly recommended Björk and I agree that it might be an artist very similar to her.
In The Waiting Line by Zero 7 is not it. The vibe matches, it mixes futuristic imagery with natural things, it has loads of old CGI, but it it is certainly not it. It certainly is one of these videos that make me instantly remember the video I'm looking for, though.
Other than that I'm personally completely unfamiliar with that kind of music, since I'm more into Rap or Metal these days. When in doubt, just give me anything that vaguely matches my description, even if it contradicts many things I've described. All this is based on very foggy memory.

Hi there. I’ve been spending a lot of my summer alone and would love to have some people to talk to. I haven’t got any bit of life figured out and am kind of lonely. I spend an unhealthy amount of time playing video games and I’m a nerd at heart. I prefer people who talk a lot since I struggle finding things to talk about at first.
I’m someone who’s had a difficult life, but I’m in the process of getting over it. Someone told me that people who have difficult upbringings have an easier time relating to each other, but I don’t think that’s true. I think that as long as you’re empathetic, that’s what matters most.
Anyways, I’m looking for people to talk about nerdy shit with. I love playing older games and would love people to talk about them with. I just finished the original System Shock and am in the process of replaying Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. It would also be fun to find people to play games with, but I understand that not a lot of people play games. I have had a H610PRO V2(8192) tablet for a few years now with few if any problems.
I just purchased a Huion Keydial KD100 and I am not sure what to do. Everything works poorly if at all and mostly it's a software issue, I am sure.
For starters, on their website there are 2 drivers you can download for the KD100. Already I felt bad vibes when I saw that because there is no explanation whatsoever. One is older by a month, but otherwise they give no explanation which one you should use.
After I installed the older one, it recognized my tablet as well as the KD100, except that it wiped out all my shortcuts. No big deal, right?
Nope, big deal.
To make a long story short, the two devices don't work well together.
First it was the Keydial wheel that refused to let me program it. When I finally it allowed me to change it, it wouldn’t go back to the default settings.
Then the tablet disappeared completely., I restarted, changed USB ports, prayed at the temple of Athena. Nothing worked.
Finally I had the brilliant idea to look for the tablet drivers. Bingo, those found both devices, except that when I am assigning and naming shortcuts every other time it crashes my... Keyboard?
I don't know how else to describe it. My keyboard stops working, in all apps (including the driver settings) but not completely. I use Notepad to check the keyboards (I tried a BT, a Logitech wireless and my old, cable one that I keep on my tower desktop in case I need to work on the BIOS.
Nothing works, except that randomly it would try to exit Notepad (asking me to save, cancel, etc. or it would bring another app to the front.
I have taken to saving a backup for each time I make a change (I lost too many) so that saved me from having to redo my shortcuts over and over.
I submitted a ticket, but Huion are notorious for not giving a crap. Plus so many different things went wrong with the keypad and the tablet, I had to summarize a lot (like I am doing here).
Crazy stuff. It was like they intentionally wrote code to drive their customer nuts.
If anyone else has such a combo, I'd like to hear how it's going.
Next I am going to try to open the backup files and see if I can make my own and I wait for new drivers to be released.
Other than that, I love the keypad. It make working in Photoshop so much faster. I was going to buy one for my wife, but she may inherit mine and I'll switch to something a bit more reliable.

So, had some significant gender questioning when I was younger, quite secure being cis nowadays, maybe some weird feelings here and there but that’s not the point of this post. Born in 97, and when I was in middle school, so 2008-2011 I guess, maybe a bit later into high school, I would frequent transgender websites. Mostly small MtF blog type websites evidently each made by just one lady, page visit counter on the bottom and everything. That’s all just context, but anyhow, through one such website, I found a list of ‘trans woman anthems’ or whatever, and there was this one song that I’m trying to find again. It wasn’t by The Eagles, but it was from a pretty big band, maybe from around the same time period. The band said later that it’s about a young girl (cis) who feels underdeveloped and can’t wait to grow up, but obviously a lot of trans women identified with it hence it’s inclusion on the list. There were lyrics vaguely like ‘they call her a boy’ ‘don’t hide away’ ‘don’t lock yourself in your room’ It was definitely from before my time, like 80s or so (?) but I felt quite a lot of myself in the lyrics and would listen to it over and over again. Just recently popped into my mind so I’m hoping to give it another listen
