The sale of the flat I have put a offer on has gone around in circles for a while as the solicitor I was working with entered some of my personal information incorrectly into the Anti-Money laundering checks and it flagged up as failed (it was my passport number). Anyways I've had to switch solicitor and have subsequently passed their AML checks.
The sale is back on track but the seller is obviously pissed off and doesn't want to mark the sale as under offer on Zoopla etc until the exchange of contracts. I'm basically the real life version of Raj from Big Bang Theory, but in all reality I'm not as easygoing about it as him and it makes me very very depressed. I don't have one person that I'd consider myself close enough to to confide in and call a friend, I work constantly, why I'm up early for the east coast, and that leads to me having a dead social battery and broken charging port, and I have never even been able to use it. The friends I HAD in life all ostracized me once I went through a stint of bad mental health issues on top of the anxiety, also a manic depressive. People are very judgemental and don't want to be associated with mentally ill people despite all the awareness, which is great, but deep down I've been stigmatized since my bad episode in 2019, and bullied and outcasted in general through life, always the weird kid. I started going to therapy at 5 years old since early on I was a troublesome child that wanted things my way, or the highway as Limp Bizkit would say.
I have tried every known drug via my psychiatrist, or ordering unapproved research chems. Doxepin, Every SSRI available, every known and designer Benzodiazepine from dizepam all the way to the newly popular bromazolam which isn't legal, yet not illegal. Kratom, phenibut, alcohol and butyl variations, cigarettes, huffing literal airplane glue, Buspar is the worst thing invented. Nitrous oxide was my favorite but I couldn't be coherent enough to actually say anything. Cocaine, meth, adderall and other amphetamines in high doses, none of it helps. I'm hopeless, but choose life over non-existence despite being totally alone and a 28 year old hermit who owns a super nice 4 acre estate, nice car, the works, loaded and set, just nobody around here, or even on social media will talk with me and try to be friends, the social people spread rumors and shed me in a bad light, nobody in my town talks to me and I didn't do anything wrong other than attempt suicide once. I live only to see what happens, that's it.
Nobody will ever want to be my friend when they find out I'm like a Walter White without his Jesse.

We have 3 months of hell with British Gas. Following a leak in the bathroom they sent a number of engineers over 3 months. All of them were Dyno engineers who looked very young, inexperienced and made a number of mistakes which our independent engineer later clarified.

1. They couldn't identify the leak. Each engineer said it was a different issue. It turned out to be in a completely different place.
2. They ordered an incorrect radiator
3. They damaged the valves
4. They cancelled an appointment after 3 weeks of waiting with a live leak
5. They didn't care that my parents were elderly and used this bathroom regularly and it was dangerous for them as heart patients who can barely walk.
6. They lied a few times about timings, resolutions etc

Our work cost around £700 to rectify their mistakes. We had the Homecare agreement with them. After 3 months of complaints they offered £300. It doesn't cover the work. They didn't bother reading the detail of what our engineer stated.
Where do we go to next? They have treated us appallingly and their attitude was worse. Even the "senior complaints" team said it was a shambles yet offered this poor offer.

I need some help. I recently got a new phone and very strange things have been happening and I really don't understand it at all and I also don't know what to do to make it stop. I got the new phone and put in my sim card as usual. A couple days down the line, I received a telegram verification code but I had never downloaded telegram. I had never created a telegram account before. I just ignored it and wondered what was happening. Then days after that, my contacts informed me that my number was now appearing on telegram. None of this was me. What had happened? It got bad when WhatsApp then banned my account. And I know I had not done anything to violate the terms of service. Im sure it had something to do with the telegram account which had been created using my number without my knowledge. I was also receiving text messages from econet numbers with a very unusual looking link. And also when my phone was locked, I'd sometimes pick it up and it was making calls to numbers I have never had in my logbook. I proceeded to get a new number so that I can use WhatsApp because I needed to communicate with friends and family and also schoolmates and lecturers. It was okay for a while but 4 days ago another telegram account was created with my new number. And now WhatsApp has banned me once again. I don't know what to do. I went to econet to ask for help because I didn't know where else to go. They very rudely turned me away and said it was not their problem, and even when I asked for a better understanding of what could be going on and who's problem it could be, the employees I spoke to were extremely dismissive. Excuse my bad english. I dont see myself as a big gambler, but shit went crazy gambling.
So last month I got lucky, i won 3.5K euros, but just before that I already lost 700 euros. I got desperate with even the 1st 100 euro loss, and didnt care how much I was losing, I was willing to play to 0 balance in my bankaccount, really stupid of me, I wasnt really thinking straight and started betting very high on slots.

• Empire is going after Cal's crew on Koboh there's a star destroyer in its sky but the only way Empire would get a way to Tanalor can be the data copy-pasted from the High Republic device that surely Cal and probably Bode used in ISB. All 3 compasses and coords Khri left behid Cal found. It's the only way Empire can get there if not going right behind the last jump of Cal's screw to Tanalor. The High Republic lazers are 200 years old tho.
• Getting Empire for the 3th time anywhere in main focus isn't going to feel rewarding. Opening Speech
Mr Speaker,
Firstly I want to say that this is a bill that has seen great passion and dedication by my colleagues who have worked relentlessly on contributing in their various areas of specialisation for what is a very esoteric and at times ‘finicky’ topic to address. Nonetheless, the contents of the bill they have produced is one we are proud of as this Government works its way to achieve its goals.
The Export Credit Agency of UK Export Finance has been under-utilised, if not forgotten by previous Governments. This is a key instrument in aiding economic growth and development, especially when productivity is a big drawback on the British economy. Our party made a promise to address the structural challenges to our economy and here we deliver directly to fix that. This bill emboldens our export finance agency to not just provide support to UK exporters, but allows us to finance crucial overseas project investment feeding into our own and global development goals.
Part 1 of this bill deals with the nature of export finance. We move in this part to make sure exporters (suppliers) get the immediate access to finance to spend and reinvest on key capital projects in which that finance would not be available for the likes of 90 to 120 days. Subsequently bringing a continuous and positive growth program that sees market development and improved business connections. By no means is this a form of state aid that grants the competing advantage within an industry regarding the production of goods or services against rivals, but allows for immediate credit and export guarantees through loans and not subsidies.
In regards to SMEs, export finance is undoubtedly an ideal way to help small and medium sized businesses that need the funds but have limited banking facilities and credit history. Key to Conservative policy is that unlocking of economic potential and the core value of equality of opportunity which is why this Government is fully launching itself in support of the backbone of our economy, which are small and medium sized enterprises.
What is key in such a redefining and emboldening of British investment capabilities is our commitment to net-zero and environmental sustainability which is why we will be ending any and all UKEF support for the fossil fuel industry in the coming months. This Government will move to utilise Export Finance and project investment underpinned by said sustainability goals and environmental commitments.
Part 2 of the bill focuses itself on the capabilities for project finance investment. We make thorough provisions that base itself around categorising sector areas (see Schedules 5, 6 and 7) deemed necessary for environmental impact assessments. By ensuring our project finance investments not only comply with environmental and social regulations but are thoroughly assessed for their impact, this Government works towards mutual sustainability goals.
We further go to provide the necessary provisions such as the adoption of the equator principles in the operations of UKEF - in accordance with 116 financial institutions across 37 countries. This is a necessary framework for all forms of financial institutions involved in project finance to ensure the necessary environmental, social and regulatory policy frameworks are in place when supporting global project development. This Government is committed to ensuring that all practices within our financial sector are in accordance with responsible and cooperative management practices. They further go to promote a common framework for global social and environmental standards in which developmental banks and export credit agencies (such as UKEF) increasingly draw on OECD common approaches.
Outlined by various corporations, international organisations and governing bodies, it is understandable that green finance will play a crucial role in global sustainable development and aiding the combat of climate change. The World Economic Forum estimates the value of green finance to reach $2.36 trillion this year in order to meet the needs of environmentalism and economic growth alongside it. Currently the USA and China, lead in this alongside the European Union implementing a green finance plan. Our Export Finance scheme is one that aligns itself with a clean growth strategy that helps further green and sustainable development, not just in Britain but globally. In a globalised world through promoting and facilitating a sustainable development plan in regards to our exports we help contribute to fostering more sustainable economic development internationally and projecting our values on this matter. This Government is proud to bring forward such an achievement in establishing and providing the means to promote and develop the necessary provisions for reaching sustainability in economic growth driven through export.

(4) UK Export Finance is to provide immediate loans of no more than 80% of an individual applicant's owed invoice value, excluding local costs.

(a) transfer the remaining invoice value of up to 20% (see Section 6: subsection 4) back to the UKEF Supported Exporter, minus the pre-agreed service fee of Section 5: subsection 4b.

Amend Section 13: subsection 1 to include:

(c) to include UK Export Finance project support (in accordance with the entirety of this Act) within global project development frameworks requiring they too adhere to the Equator Principles.

Some of my weights are 0.1lbs off inside Google Fit. I noticed because the Renpho scale increments in 0.2lbs, and Google Fit is showing odd numbers, such as 191.1lbs. I know it's not a lot, but I've just started syncing this with MacroFactor so I obviously want it to be accurate, and there's no reason it shouldn't just take the value straight across. On some days it does. What's going on here?

Hello, I have an applicaiton that manages several SQLite databases. I'm trying to use SQLAlchemy for the ORM mapping, because I'm trying to not duplicate the table definitions. However, I want some tables to be present in several databases.

Have a bit of a scary story to tell and want other opinions:
Staying in a hostel in Vienna and was at the hostel bar tonight. A girl FROM VIENNA who was randomly (inexplicably) at this HOSTEL BAR came up to one of my friends and sat at our table, introduced herself and then invited my friend to come meet her friends, 5 MEN, ALL FROM VIENNA AND VISITING A HOSTEL BAR . My friend talked to one of them for a bit, and at one point noticed one of the other ones signaling to the guy she was talking to asking if it was going well. She assumed he was asking if the flirting was going well so thought nothing of it, but wasn’t interested so decided to go back to the table where I was. He tried to convince her to stay and let him buy her a drink, but she left. The girl from before then came up to our table and tried to convince her to come out with her friends. She only left my friend alone after she said no about 5 times.
Later,my other friend, a girl I met in this hostel and who is solo traveling through Europe (looks quite young and has braces) met the same group and decided to go out with them. Before leaving, she shared her number and location with me. After she left, my other friend (the one who initially was talking to them) started telling me the story, at which point alarm bells went off in my head and we decided to run after the other girl, who had already left for the club with the group of Viennese people. We called her to tell her our suspicions, at which point she started asking the group more questions. It turns out the Viennese girl who had initially come up to her had lied about where she was from and whether she spoke German. I overheard all of this on the phone, and could hear my friend saying “that is a bit sketchy, why are you lying to me”. They did not answer but continued to tried to convince her to come out.
By this point my other friend and I had gotten some of the hostel staff to come with us to find her. We found her on the street with only one of the men from the group, all of the other people had left once she started showing signs of hesitation. We ended up all leaving together, counting our blessings that everyone was ok.
The hostel staff (both men) talked to the Viennese man for a bit and claimed he seemed normal, and I know that human trafficking is not very common in Vienna, but everything about this story seems INCREDIBLY SKETCHY to me, so I am wondering if anyone from Vienna has thoughts on this?

Let me tell you about my current saga. All I wanted was to buy some books. I typed this out so I could review/post/give feedback everywhere and anywhere, but I thought you guys might get a kick out of it.
January 30th. I placed an order for some books, including a pre-order (to be released within a few days) with a well-known book company in my country, using their online store. All seems fine, delivery expected in two weeks. March. A month goes by, no sign of my books. I email their customer service email address and get told, “Sorry, your pre-order is delayed by a month. You should have received an email about this.” I tell them I didn’t receive anything, they respond with “This is unusual, we will investigate why this happened and get back to you.” I reply asking for an updated estimated shipping date. No response. April 1th April comes and I haven’t yet seen the red flags. The store has a massive online sale, so I excitedly order another pile of books, including another pre-order (to be released the following week). The MOMENT my confirmation email arrives, it’s immediately followed up with an email saying the pre-order #2 will be delayed a month. No idea why this information wasn’t on the website, as now I have to wait even longer for the books, but I want them at the cheaper price, so fine. At the same time, I realise I never got a response from the first order, so I email them again, asking for an update. No response. May 24th. I call one of the stores and ask about how to check up on orders. They tell me they are separate from the online store, and I have to call them or email them. The help centre are across the country with terrible opening hours, so I decided to send two more emails, one replying to the original email chain, one separate to their support email address. I ask for updates on all my orders and why I haven’t been getting a response.I receive an automated response to the second email, nothing to the first. May 29th. Fortunately, I get incredibly sick and take time off work. I called their help centre and asked to have both pre-orders removed from both orders, asking if this will now allow the orders to be shipped. They say yes, they will process the refunds now, and I’ll get an email confirmation in a few days saying the orders are shipped. May 30th. I got a reply to the 2nd email saying the pre-order for the second order is now delayed until July. They tell me they won’t ship my order until all the books in each order have arrived. I also realise that one of the books from the January order is no longer needed, as my partner purchased me the book months ago, forgetting about the orders at all. I, still sick and bedridden, call the help centre and ask to have this third book refunded as the order has not yet shipped. They tell me the two books I cancelled yesterday haven’t been cancelled at all, and my orders are both still sitting there waiting for them. They say there is nothing pending, no sign they were ever going to be taken off my order. He assures me he will cancel the books immediately. I get two emails, one from each other, saying my books are cancelled and a refund is on the way. Today, June 8th. I got my two parcels. I open them up, only to realise that the third book I cancelled is still here. I checked my emails and my bank, and it turns out the second person I spoke to forgot to cancel the third book, and I was never issued a cancellation or refund for it. Being unwell, I hadn’t even realised the error when I was reading the emails. There’s also no invoice in the boxes, which I find odd. I decide to call up the closest physical store (30mins away) and ask if I can simply bring the book in for a refund. I explain everything and he says he needs the invoice from the boxes. I tell him there isn’t one and he is baffled. All the orders come with an invoice. The confirmation email doesn’t even have an invoice number on it, just an order number, which doesn’t work for refunds. However, considering the whole saga up to this point, he tells me to give him all the details I have and he will chase it up with them on my behalf. He tells me he will try his luck with the help centre, as he can call them during their business hours, and get back to me in two days whether he hears anything or not. So this is where I currently sit. Missing the books I really wanted, with a book I don’t want, and having learnt a valuable lesson about not buying from their online store again.
