i just finished reading devil's embrace. i love old-school bodice rippers but she 100% should not have included the gang rape in the story. anyways, i do plan to read the sequel, devil's daughter, but i wanted to ask for a small spoiler - in the description, it says "Rayna Lyndhurst [is the] daughter of a man who is dead set against the Welles family."
does that mean that edward lyndhurst still harbored angehatred for anthony welles? bc at the end of devil's embrace, it kind of seemed like they resolved everything (as much as it could have been) and edward went off with jennifer lacy and they were supposedly in love and happy together. is it that it turned out edward still truly loved cassie all along, and that's why he hates the welles family? the reason i'm asking is bc i was bothered by how edward treated her at the end of the book. it would make me feel better if he'd still had feelings for her.

Just picked up 2 Floodlight Pros to replace existing floodlights. Install went fine and the cameras have been working great.
The only issue is apparently the Wyze floodlights are not compatible with Wyze Home Monitoring, which is pretty wild.
For those who don’t have Home Monitoring, basically you can select up to 5 cameras to be used as security cameras. You can view them live simultaneously and set up rules for the security system - it’s pretty nice. However, according to Wyze support, only indoor cameras can be used as security cameras.
I would love to have the ability to set up a security alert for whenever AI detects a person in my backyard to set off an alarm when the system is armed. Now I have to wait until they break in and are picked up on my kids nanny cams. Really silly

I’ve been into the snark community for a while and learning a lot about fundies as a whole has been insanely interesting as someone who was never raised around religion. I’ve been able to get the basics, but I want to know IT ALL so if you all have any recommendations that would be awesome.

I know this is a very personal question but I am wondering what are all your birthday party budget/usual spending. I am especially curious in situation where the funds are available (so not force to have a lower cost birthday).
I am asking because my daughter's 5th birthday is coming up and for once we were thinking of not doing a simple backyard birthday party but once I started added the cost of the activity + food + gifts + decorations we were getting close to $700 which I find crazy. Upon initial inspection (separate from the builder’s) he advised there was no backyard irrigation. They had just laid down some plots of grass and set a couple temporary sprinklers up (not installed).

Wanted to post this before things go dark!
Been working on this for a month (though planning it out has taken a lot longer). Built a Ms Pac-Man replica using plans I found online except wider to accommodate up to a 32 inch screen (currently using a 27” IPS monitor however)
3/4 inch MDF throughout. Probably over engineered some parts but I’m a novice at this.
IL joysticks, IL buttons, and functioning coin mech from somewhere online. A pair of 6” car speakers with an amp and powered by a 10th gen i5 w/1060 3GB. Bought the vinyls on eBay. Color match for blue was close but not perfect. I went with a plexiglass cover on top of the monitor but have custom sized tempered glass on order as a permanent solution.
All in all I’m very happy (and happy to be done!) - I would change the control panel angle to a bit flatter if I could, and would also stretch the top part of the cab a bit higher (like 4”) so that the marquee isn’t so low if I had a do-over. I might build a riser for when I permanently place the thing in the basement bar area.
Marquee is backlit with a 24” led tube I got from Amazon. I had to mount the light wayyyy in the back because it’s so bright.

Also one thing I’m proud of is the power: I bought a 14GA power cord and spliced it on the inside that I have a two-gang box that’s always on and a two-gang box that’s switched. Does anyone have insight into the day to day for ATF agents? I do not hear much about them. I'm curious if they are more street and enforcement oriented like USMS. I've read other posts that have described them as a national agg assault/ gang unit that works hand in hand with local proactive units and they do more fast turn over cases vs multiple year, complex ones. VISITORS FROM FAR: This phase makes certain that few Americans escape the N.W.O. program. How? By creating TOTAL PANIC. This is accomplished with 3 choices being offered to the gullible. The Globalists have "suddenly" brought to light their long planned and well established "UFO-Little-Devils-from-Outer-Space" CON, to strike utter fear in the hearts of all the people of the earth.

• The first choice: The subtle message to us, "the masses", is that, if we don't go willingly and gently into global government, we will be "eaten", "raped", or become the experimental guinea pigs for some far-out evil "SPACE CADETS". And of course, you can't ask for assistance and protection from your own country's government because as we all have been told, "no individual nation could possibly stand a chance in defense against this obviously 'superior' Race from space. AH, but isn't it wonderful that "salvation" is only a one-world government away?!
• A second twist to this planned scenario is: These "cute little space things" are our BOSOM BUDDIES; they bring tidings of good will, and come "conveniently" to SAVE our world from the brink of total destruction! "Isn't that precious?!"

In other words, this particular plan is to convince gullible Americans that anyone or anything (but that Jesus Christ "guy"), WILL SAVE OUR WORLD!
Quite "coincidentally", these same "funny little fellows" are also here to set up a UTOPIAN GLOBAL SOCIETY! Surprised?

• And the newest twist to the CON (to grab religious Americans that did not fall for the first two) is that Christ Himself has sent these wonderful little "UFO things", in HIS place, to save us. (Suggesting, we suppose, that Jesus Christ got busy and had to "delegate". And as soon as these "wonderful" Space "Disciples of Christ" get us all together in a New World Society, He (Christ) will be along to take over. Think of them as God's Secret Service advance team!) Believe it or not.

Is there something there? ..."OUT THERE"? Absolutely! But, are THEY truly coming from "out-there"? We are not to be told, at this time, the truth about what these entities are, or who has absolute control over them. If we were told the truth we would never fall for their New World Order UFO con.
It is sad to see coming true what the Scriptures foretold, namely, that some of the most spiritual and intelligent people in our world are being completely deceived by our government and "spiritually enlightened" con men ...(and women).
As foretold, it's happening before our eyes. SHAME!
In all seriousness, for anyone that does not believe that the UFO scare is a contrived fraud, it should be agreed that the wise position to take is on the side of caution. Consider it possible that those who promote the N.W.O. plan are presently involved in a "trial run" of all three of the above described UFO scenarios. Such plans are being promoted by the Globalists, among those whom they consider to be the "Wacko", "Radical", "Extremist", Nationalist, Pro-American organizations, in order to test which scenario is more acceptable. For example, pick any one of the three scenarios below:

1. The evil little devils from outer space, who will dissect, destroy or devour us all.
2. The sweet, funny, little COSMIC critters who, like our government, are only "HERE TO HELP YOU!"And lastly, for the gullible religious masses:

I had an experience today that I want to share. I was in my backyard doing yard work and the little neighbor girl around two years old pushes open their screen door and says hi, and I respond with "hello, how are you?" Then she says hi again and again, like little kids do because she wants to talk and that's all she knows how to say. So, every she says hi, I respond, "Hello, how are you? I'm fine, how are you?", in kind of a sing-song voice like you do with little kids, over and over again. The next thing I know, every bird in the neighborhood has joined in. It was really incredible and after all, isn't that how birds communicate? Most birds use the same short call, over and over. What does this have to do with yoga? I don't know. It seems rather mantra-like. What do you think?

My players are thinking about using the Hawkers crew type, and they wanna make new drugs, and have a night club where they make money and sell their best products.
How does that reflects on their Coin stream, how do I give them money if they manage to do this?
My first idea is: Making a nightclub should be a Score. Acquiring the place, maybe stealing from another gang. Maybe is a Turf Claim. But it is an steady income, do I give them like 1 coin a week for that?

A city/settlement builder where you manage a colony of small creatures or shrinked people living in a backyard or underground.
The player would need to gather objects like discarded toys, walnut shells, scrap, etc. to make buildings, order their people to gather resources like tiny branches, candy, etc.to feed and support their population. They would also need to protect the colony from insects, birds and tiny animals.
The people of the colony could be shrinked people or some tiny creatures (like pikmin) trying to survive in a giant human world.

Hey all new Eufy user here.
This is definitely a silly question. I just bought a flood light 2 and i can only view the recordings/get notifications only if im on my wifi.
Once i turn on my cellular data, it wont let me get notifications or see the live feed. I would like to get these notifications/see live video when im at work.
How is this possible? Do i need a homebase? Im likely only going to use this flood light, a doorbell camera, and possibly a backyard camera. Thanks for any help!
