2023.06.06 23:32 airjd33 How much of a monster Sanji would have been if he kept the Raid Suit?

How much of a monster Sanji would have been if he kept the Raid Suit?

Background Information

Sanji is very strong I think without the Raid Suit EOS he will be stronger not having it than he would have been having the Raid Suit It will be symbolic of how the one person Judge let go and deemed a failure became more successful than all the other Vinsmokes at least by Judges metric
as of now its obvious by Sanji making the decision to destroy the Raid Suit he nerfed himself for his moral integrity and choosing to define himself as the person he wanted to be (that he learned Luffy would also want him to be) Sanji chose himself over the crew and by doing that he was able to help the crew even more so by being the best "self" he can be...
Lets scale Sanji on how strong he is if he kept the Raid Suit with his current buffs

Sanji first layer of Armor (Exoskeleton)
Sanji exoskeleton can take NO NOTEWORTHY DAMAGE from basic attacks from strong individuals like King and Queen (Without the Raid Suit) Sanji Exoskeleton greatly reduces the damage caused to him on impact so much so that bullets can drop before it even pierces him or Swords from non swordsman opponents snap on impact Sanji second layer of Armor (Raidsuit)
The Raid Suit is Extremely Durable
Luffy, Sanji, and King all thought Sanji was gonna take big damage or die from an attack dedicated to PIERCING your opponents (breaking through defenses) The panel was buried but Sanji took like nearly no damage from the attack and attributed the lack of damage from Kings attack to the Raid Suit The attack King used on Sanji was stronger than numerous other attacks he showed against Zoro and actually had more effort put behind it and again... Sanji took NO MENTION WORTHY DAMAGE
Scuff Marks
Lesser attacks from King that would gravely wound other strong individuals would do nothing to Sanji in JUST the Raid Suit
Sanji third layer of Armor (Raid Suit Cape)
I was lazy finding the panel he actually used it
Sanji would have two passive layers of Armor (Raid Suit and Exoskeleton) and can put up a third Layer via his cape which make him durable even more so...
All Sanji three Layers of Armor With the Exoskeleton/Raid Suit/Raid Suit Cape all working in tandem together Sanji would have durability rivaling Kaido and Big Mom (I am not saying equal to although that is very possible as well)
The perks dont stop there

Extremely Defensive

Fire Resistant
Sanji has extreme resistance to ANY FIRE BASED ATTACKS while in the Raid Suit And its not just for show
Reiju who is the weakest Vinsmoke OBJECTIVELY can tank heavenly fire head on and still be okay
Heavenly fire is the SAME ATTACK that was such a threat to base Luffy, Zoro had to come in and cut it down before it made impact with Luffy
Sanji is much more Durable then Reiju should be obvious where I am kind of going with this
Sanji fireproof suit is very relevant to numerous Top tier characters so its worth mentioning Just think 3 layers of armor and fireproofing = Fire Immunity basically
Invisibility Sanji can go invisible by both SPEED AND ACTIVATION
Regeneration Sanji will have three layers of Armor but even if someone can manage to damage him good enough to where he has broken bones or gets his anatomy messed up, HE WILL JUST HEAL
Flight/Speed Sanji can Fly which is faster than Sky Walk in terms of travel (Depending on what you are trying to do) and takes much less effort but he can also use Skywalk which is just an other useful option to have
The only Offset (Potentially) The only offset I can see is Sanji cant use his Diable Jambe because his suit is heat proof but that is just speculation by me Regardless whether he can/cant use Diable Jambe he has enough power to take down Queen obvious enough considering his comments on how if he puts the suit on Queen would be easy to dispatch
Sanji is immune to Fire based attacks Sanji cant be damaged by individuals like KING THE WILDFIRE if King used ANY ATTACK You can only fight Sanji if you have Ryuo or durability negation You need to have Future Sight just to keep up with Sanji Sanji if he kept the Raid Suit is the fourth strongest individual in Wano after Kaido/Big Mom/Luffy
But Sanji threw away all that power... Because he is a GOAT and doesn't need that shit

2023.06.06 00:10 Cygnega Can I be just a tiny bit elitist for a moment and say the quiet part out loud?

Can I be just a tiny bit elitist for a moment and say the quiet part out loud?
I see people swing by on this subreddit sometimes to give their hot takes before either being banned or fleeing in shame, and a common sentiment comes up. "The Monster fandom is pretentious." "You guys always talk down to us." "Monster fans think they're so much smarter than everyone else."
And to that, I say:

That's pretty much how it is
Let's clarify a few things.
This doesn't mean that liking Monster makes you smart, or that all Monster fans are smart people.
Nor does it mean that not liking Monster makes you dumb, or that all Monster haters are dumb people.
What it does mean is that Monster at its foundation is a cerebral narrative, and is inherently going to be more attractive to people who like to think about what they're reading/watching. When I say "smart" in this context, I'm not even talking about someone's intellectual ceiling. What I'm really talking about is a person's willingness to engage in art on an insightful level. Someone whose idea of a brilliant time is watching Goku go bam is perhaps less likely to grasp some of the deeper themes behind Monster.
Which is fine, by the way. There are plenty of less erudite, more carnal, flashier series that I enjoy, too. I don't need everything to be a philosophical masterpiece, but I enjoy the ones that are. Some people don't prefer that kind of stuff, which is totally cool. You do you, dawg. I'm not here to make everyone an anime academic, prestigious a career as it may be.
But what grinds my gears is when people like that come in my goddamn turf and insist that I or anyone else is overthinking things just because they never saw it that way. I certainly wouldn't mind if they had a good argument for it, but instead it's generally a retort along the lines of, "jOhAn Be BaD bEcAuSe BaD pEoPlE BaD sTuFf" or, if they're especially lucid, "Nuh uh." At best, it's ignorance, and at worst, it's bad faith. If you are woefully unprepared to engage in a thematic discourse, maybe it would be best if you just didn't do that. Of course, if someone is just being introduced to such perspectives, that's a different thing entirely because said person is in the process of learning. I'm talking about the people who are anathema to learning and just come on here to start shit so they can feel a misguided sense of superiority, only to leave embarrassed with a very deserving feeling of inferiority.
I want to be perfectly clear, I think Monster should be accessible to anyone, and I'm not looking to gatekeep. I'm a big fan of works that are both deep and enriching, while also appealing on a more superficial or standardized level. I think Monster can be that for plenty of people. If the philosophical stuff went over your head and you just enjoy it as a thrillemystery, that's perfectly fine. Go wild.
All I'm asking is that if you're not into the philosophical stuff, maybe don't argue too much with the people who are, and then act like we're being pseudo-intellectuals because it's the only way you can process the humiliation you're feeling right now. No one asked you to get your ass beat in a Reddit argument about anime shit; you choose your own path. You're sure not gonna see me argue with one of these folks about who would win in a fight between Luffy and Ichigo if they had swords for eyes and the floor was lava, because I know my lane. Some of us have given Monster an extra layer of thought and attention and are consequently prepared for that level of a discussion, and some of us haven't. Know thyself.

2023.05.31 18:57 airjd33 How Powerful is Blackbeard/Luffy end of Pre Time Skip?

How Powerful is Blackbeard/Luffy end of Pre Time Skip?

Luffy pretimeskip is Commodore level
Marine Ranks
Luffy is stronger than ANYONE in the positions under him And weaker than the average people above him (I am not guaranteeing all but most are stronger than him) How do I know this?
In Marine ford Tashigi was an Ensign (Previously Tashigi was a sergeant and currently now a captain) If you dont know what that is look at the marine rankings
Luffy was about to bully her so we know he is stronger than Ensigns because usually people of a similar rank hang around people of the same caliber of strength or around their level (do not bring up Garp its so stupid)
Luffy stronger than captains too at this time
He blitzed Hina who is a Captain, now this doesn't mean Luffy would win but if they fought It implies Luffy would win. It makes sense considering Luffy literally beat ROB LUCCI.
I know Luffy is weaker than Vice Admirals at this time for a fact
The Vice Admirals literally have jobs like managing the Warlords and can do stuff like this
You dont believe me?
looking at some these individuals you would know Luffy cant keep up with a vast majority of these people The Vices are literally next after Admirals so it makes sense
Smoker is a Commodore as of MF (previously a captain which is where Tashigi has peaked as of now and currently a Vice Admiral)
Luffy can fight people of this level but he lacked haki at the time (and in Smoker case he literally counter DF users because he had seastone weapon) I know smoker beat Luffy rather quickly but I think Luffy is of this level and it makes sense considering what smoker said.
Smoker didnt say he was just flat out stronger than Luffy He was implying there was something he lacked to fight him I think considering the fact Smoker is the strongest Commodore (or 2nd strongest if you wanna consider Brannew) Its not that weird to say this because I see Luffy beating most these people that are Commodore rank
I can definitely see Luffy having a a hard battle with the people on this list (The only ones I think are stronger than Luffy are Brannew/Smoker but you can argue the others are too but not all)
Now what is Commodore in comparison to pirates?
Obviously some people are excluded but this is what I think Luffy would be in terms of strength in comparison to the pirates

*Any Blackbeard before Ace is irrelevant cause we literally know nothing so I'm not mentioning those versions of him
Blackbeard vs Ace
How strong is the Blackbeard that fought Ace?
Well we actually know.
Blackbeard fighting Ace is stronger than Ace who equaled Jinbe This kind of crazy since Luffy after a 2yr time skip probably couldn't beat Jinbe without gear 4 (at least in fishman island) Blackbeard is stronger than these individuals...
Whos Who (Jinbe beat him considerably well) as well as all the other tobbiroppo
Yamato in Ace Flashback (probably weaker)
The son of the Sea
Blackbeard before even having 2 fruits was strong enough to become a Tobbiroppo member He is probably strong enough to qualify as a 2nd commander in terms of the average strength You could also push him up to 1st commander as well and it wouldn't sound wrong (I'm not saying he is/isn't stronger than individuals like King and Queen at this time but he is in they ball park of strength)
Blackbeard (2 Devilfruits)
1st commander level guaranteed stronger than individuals like
Am I mistaken? no I'm not Blackbeard wasnt physically that good but his 2 devil fruits and them being the fruits that they were literally had everyone shook In Marineford if he went to fight people like Vista they would have lost Blackbeard was 38 years old in pretimeskip and has 33% more time to get stronger than the average person it makes sense He LITERALLY is around Shanks and Mihawk age and scarred Shanks (Mihawk better watch out)
Yeah, Luffy (17) is Commodore level Blackbeard (38) is 1st commander level IF not even stronger End of pretimeskip

2023.05.29 07:38 airjd33 The main reasoning for Yonko > Admiral is so bad

The main reasoning for Yonko > Admiral is so bad
At some point some people started the narrative that Yonko>Admirals because the Admirals are ALWAYS wary of them
Nobody worried bout no dang yonko
Generally its just not true...
I'm not gonna include WB but the Admirals aren't scared of that man either and all of them clap him

Not scared of Shanks
Akainu starts cursing Shanks for letting Luffy escape and Kuzan ignores Shanks order and immediately tries to capture the pirates
Kizaru literally tries to shoot Shanks after Shanks says what he said
After Shanks shows up NONE of the 3 OG Admirals heeds this mans warning and continues on fighting

When The Narrative got popular

The Admirals dont wanna fuck with Yonko narrative didnt really start picking up steam till Kaido and Big Mom actual introductions though
Garp just describes the yonko as "The greatest pirates" He doesn't say anything extreme about them like the anime was doing.
I think people just saw Kaido and BM being these huge imposing figures and just assumed the admirals were scared of them because they dont go to there land You gotta remember none of us saw people like BM and Kaido as far as stature goes and they introductions + absence at MF was a recipe just to put them on a pedestal
You wanna know why the Admirals dont just go to yonko territory and storm them? This is why...

Not scared of Big Mom

Totto Land (Big Mom territory)
Sea Slugs
Enough to cover all of BM territory
Big Mom territory
Sea Slugs cover the whole sea area of BM territory You are immediately under surveillance as soon as you go in her territory and your presence is known Meaning when you are on sea in BM territory you are susceptible to everything they could choose to throw at you and her territory is HUGE, she can do a lot to you or your ship in the time you are sailing to her main island Whole Cake
Shit like this
The Admirals ate Devil Fruits and all it takes is the destruction of they ship for it to be game over which you dont even need to be on there level to do
The reason Luffy got in The only reason Luffy got as far as he did is because Big Mom felt like he was not a threat at all and thought Cracker+Brulee could handle him on they own
BM literally told Brulee and Cracker to take care of him
The reason Kuzan got in Kuzan got in because of the ruckus Germa and Caesar started

Not scared of Kaido
I wanted to bring this up before somebody else brought it up Yes, Kaido presence was deterring people from going I'm not saying it wasnt I'm saying nobody scared of Kaido individually and avoiding taking over solely cause he is there anyways...
Land of Wano (Kaido territory)
Its literally a whole plot line about how the Marines couldn't enter because the borders were closed and when they were open they immediately tried to come control Wano
Everyone knows how Luffy and beast pirates got in
Anyways why do you actually scale Yonko>Admirals? When the narrative now implies Akainu could be stronger than all the yonko or every yonko excluding like 1 of them Kuzan is close to Akainu so its not a stretch to say he on Akainu level Kizaru doesn't seem to be the slightest bit afraid of Kaido and BM
The only Admiral that seems worried about yonko is Green bull and he is the 1st/2nd weakest Admiral plus there is caveats to me even saying that The Admirals haven't even went all out Its been consistently portrayed they can flip places like onagashima upside down extremely quickly which was basically the battlefield 2 yonko fought on and they weren't even gonna destroy it till the very end
If I average all the Admirals and all the Yonkos Admirals equal Yonko EVEN IN REGARDS TO THE ORIGINAL 4 They all have varying degrees of strength but it meets around the middle
Now I know some people gonna say ACOC but people was saying this shit even before that so I dont feel like thats a valid excuse plus not long before the narrative was Logia's were just on a whole different playing field than any other person who ate a DF.

2023.05.27 20:03 No_Capital7502 I went through all of one piece because people critiquized that i didn't read the manga. Nothing's changed

For whosever is lacking the context, 2 months ago or so i uploaded a post where i said one piece is overrated, a lot of people in the comments said something like "you have skipped most of one piece, so your opinion is flawled", i somewhat caught up to the manga (915 or so), but my opinion hasn't changed, since i expressed like shit in the other post, i'll try to explain a little bit better what did i mean back then.
First off because i didn't directly aknowledge it in the original post and a lot of people saw to be confused about it: i do like one piece. Is not my favourite series, but i do like it, but that doesn't mean that one piece isn't overrated as fuck. The series talks about racism like one time, but aside from that, op is a goofy ah manga with some serious momments, and not the super profound master piece that the fandom says that it is, the fact that the characters from one piece literally look like this speaks loud enough by itself.
The fandom thinking that oda shits gold, and not being able to aknowledge this is what made me had my expectations off. When i said "this is boring" in the original post, i meant that it didn't looked like the supposed masterpiece that one piece is according to the fandom.
That being said, the main problems i wanted to talk about in the original post, but i couldn't express are that:
  1. one piece pacing is shit
  2. one piece isn't directed to a somewhat casual reader who wants to catch up to the day, but to longtime anime watchers who've been following up the series since 2013
when i mean that the one piece pacing is shit, i mean that is shit in both, the real life and the series.
In real life, the manga is extremelly slow, like, egghead hasn't appeard in more than 2 months, and while as a person i can forgive oda because he has to make a weekly publication (he's been slowing down and taking a rest, but considering he's been sleeping 3 houweek for the last 25 years it's more than comprehensible) as an audience, and specially the not casual audience, but the longtime following audience one piece is directed to, it's extremelly heavy to wait. And egghead isn't even the slowest arc, oda has been trying to speed up lately,i can't imagine the hell that the people who followed dressrosa suffered back in the day
Pacing is also shit inside the show, and i mean both, the show itself, and the pacing inside the verse: inside of the verse, the strawhats have been more time separated and training than together as a crew having adventures, and as an audience, the show is extremelly slow to watch, it doesn't matter if you watch the +350 hour long anime, or if you read the manga with almost 8 panels per page, hell, you remember how i mentioned the sumarizes in my original rant? even those videos are long as fuck, the series barely got to whole cake island and between all the videos, there are over 8 fucking hours.
Something i also despise a lot is how perfect some fans think that the show is, like, some people unironicly think that nika was foreshadowed in skypea.
a +25 year old series, with almost 1100 chapters, several movies, games, novels, and interviews with an author that takes in mind every detail, and the only foreshadowing for a plot point as important as luffy having a mythical zoan is that oda said that he likes a fucking panel that he could've taken inspiration in to draw gear 5? and nika isn't even the worse example on how retarded op fans can be
TLDR: believe in the akainu agenda

2023.05.26 09:55 airjd33 What Zoro/Sanji Lack to be Yonko/Admiral level also Kidd/Law > Zoro/Sanji

What Zoro/Sanji Lack to be Yonko/Admiral level also Kidd/Law > Zoro/Sanji
Zoro and Sanji are not admiral level Why are we playing like 2 admirals wont beat a yonko? Anyways here is the gist
First Commanders Now in my opinion what separates first commanders from others below them is having 1 stat/ability so good it can rival/contend with stronger individuals like yonko/admirals It can be Haki
Physical Ability
I think Zoro and Sanji are no different
What Zoro and Sanji have With Zoro and Sanji we can actually see a little into certain metrics of there EOS strength
Zoro can already tap into his EOS AP and its yonko caliber
Now Zoro fans wont like this one but ima say it anyway... Sanji with genes turned on (Exoskeleton and Regen) has survivability rivaling yonkos
Then what's the issue?
What Zoro and Sanji lack
Zoro There are actually numerous things holding Zoro back that can't be offset by his AP
If Zoro takes one of these he is at a disadvantage the whole fight in terms of condition I dont care how much Zoro can endure, its not gonna matter if Kaido just keeps swinging his club at him
ENMA Power Consumption
Zoro cant maintain yonko AP and the drawback to using yonko AP is extremely taxing
Zoros Summary Zoro is a glass canon but his survivability is lacking
Sanji There are numerous things holding back Sanji as well
Lack of special haki trait
Future Sight would have prevented this
Dont get me wrong Sanji haki is actually good and he has even better observation than Luffy but the issue is Sanji has no special haki trait like Ryuo or Future Sight or Advanced Conquerors. He just has the basics meaning he has less offensive tools.
Conditional AP
Sanji cant tap into his highest AP consistently
Sanjis Summary Lacks offensive tools
Wow each one lacks in one place the other doesn't, wild
Zoro just needs to get in control of ENMA for now and Sanji I think should get more assets
Switching subjects anyways... Its very clear they are weaker than Kidd and Law
Sanji and Law struggle with certain aspects of themselves and there trump cards aren't as efficient as Kidd and Laws (as of now)
Law can literally spam his trump card
Same with Kidd
It really shouldn't be a discussion on who stronger when Kidd and Laws powers are far more developed

2023.05.26 07:32 airjd33 Sabo downplay is the worst

Sabo downplay is the worst
Why do people compare these 2 (Ik why) Its so unfair because Sabo is WAAAYYYYYY stronger than Marco Like this shit is just disrespectful in my opinion
All marco does is get beat on and bide time He can do it against yonkos yeah but Marco never actually BEATS somebody, He never even makes any noteworthy progress against any opponent for that matter I just say he is stronger than lots other commanders cause his position and portrayal Am I the only one who thinks this man is just built completely around plot convenience
All that flash to do like no damage
I will get off Marco cause I actually like him and people already slander him more than enough as it is, He clearly can fight on Sanji and Zoro level still so I will leave him alone
But comparing him to Sabo is so stupid
He wasnt even use to his devil fruit yet and was fighting on par with fujitora
Now he getting called the flame emperor. I dont think Marco hanging with somebody Oda decides to call an emperor. Honestly if I had to wager rn Sabo is like a mid or high diff to Luffy just because the portrayal is there and this is also Luffy brother Oda not gonna make him weaker than Zoro or Sanji (yet at least)
Yes Sabo is being called an emperor because of influence but being an emperor is a testament to strength in some capacity at least to Oda (dont bring up buggy its such a stupid rebuttal)
Sabo right now low/mid diffs Zoro or Sanji and thats just fact
Imagine being this slow

2023.05.25 22:36 airjd33 Getting beat pre time skip doesn't mean you are weak

Getting beat pre time skip doesn't mean you are weak
Getting beat by pre time skip Luffy doesn't mean you are weak.
The best examples of this are Crocodile Magellan Enel
Crocodile This will be short
Willing to fight Mihawk on equal grounds
referring to WB
Crocodile is obviously stronger than Zoro and Sanji or at the very least equal
Magellan The most underrated person on this list
JUST BY NARRATIVE ALONE IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS LUFFY WINNING WAS A FLUKE Magellan is literally in charge of level 6 bro like what??? He autos over many strong characters
Magellan literally bullying BB Whole crew
He honestly could probably take multiple of these people at once Magellan is literally portrayed as the next strongest thing after the admirals

![img](qh85jsxhw22b1 "Magellan guards level 6 because he is strong. ")
ENEL Now Enel is harder to prove because he doesn't have much lines we can read into through position and dialogue
But the feats are there. He is at least 1st commander bruh and honestly that might be massive downplay
Stop downplaying them cause they lost Pre TS Those were clearly flukes and plot armor
Losing BADLY to first variation G4 is more embarrassing

2023.05.24 02:47 FunPresence8965 Sanji's second goal and possible foreshadowing

Sanji's second goal and possible foreshadowing
Oda makes several groupings in the series to provide narrative insights, the most infamous of which is the fan named "Monster Trio," where he groups Luffy, Zoro and Sanji together as the strongest of the Strawhats. However, sometimes Zoro will be grouped with Luffy, while other times he'll be grouped with Sanji. This is one of the reasons why Zoro is considered the second strongest strawhat, because he's constantly fluctuating from being just barely stronger than Sanji to being just barely weaker than Luffy. While the gap between Luffy and Sanji also appears to grow and shrink at times, it's not nearly as much as the jump Zoro makes at times.
During the moments leading up to the iconic "Nothing Happened" scene, when trying to convince Kuma to take his head instead of Zoro's, Sanji says this...
Now, of course this could've just been him talking himself up to convince Kuma that he's more valuable than Zoro, but what if there was a little more to this?
There are several things in the series that only Luffy and Zoro get that Sanji doesn't
- Their opponents tend to return
- They're both considered Supernovas and part of the Worst Generation
- They're the only 2 to receive bounties (while on the crew's journey) before Enies Lobby

Back on Alabasta, the World Government updated Luffy's bounty and assigned one to Zoro despite Sanji doing more that arc (mainly because it was behind the scenes) and doing a comparable job to Zoro on the foreground
Fast forward to Sabaody and Sanji is barred from the Worst Gen and Supernova because his bounty didn't inflate as much as Luffy and Zoro's, again because he operates in the background
Whole Cake Island sees his bounty finally become bigger than Mosshead's... then he wallows in misery because he realized it's only due to being a Vinsmoke
Here is probably the biggest one. Lucci and Kaku were invited to be members of CP0. This confirms that despite Kaku and Jabra being near equals, the World Government chose to only invite Kaku, suggesting they see Sanji's former opponent to not be as valuable as Zoro's former opponent. In their eyes, the man who fought Zoro is more to be feared than the man who fought Sanji
Time and time again, Sanji is shown to be less infamous than Zoro or Luffy. Even Sanji's main rival, Zoro, has been mistakened for the captain several times. Sanji hasn't displayed this level of terrifying aura and display of raw power yet. He's not as known by those around them and he definitely isn't as recognized by the World Government. But what if he did something massive? Now let's go back to Sanji's statement and dissect it a bit.
Here, Sanji openly admits that he's aware the marines don't think much of him, backing up what I mentioned earlier. But he also boldly states that he'll soon be the man the marines will fear the most. What could he possibly do to earn that level of infamy? Something that will worry the marines even more than Luffy invading all 3 of their main facilities?

...well, maybe if he became the first man to defeat a Navy Admiral.

Now, we know that come EOS, Zoro will have to fight Mihawk. I doubt anyone has doubts that Mihawk is easily a top tier fighter, sparring with Shanks then saying that he's not interesting to duel anymore after losing his arm, despite Shanks still being an Emperor of the sea and strong enough to fight Kaido off. Many people will disagree with what I'm about to say but Zoro and Sanji tend to remain relative. I know people don't like the idea of Sanji being around Mihawk's level because he's "just a cook and not the main fighter" but remember that Whitebeard wanted a family and became the strongest man in the world, powerful enough that the other emperors and even the navy feared him. Dreams /= power, and Oda wouldn't put so much effort to keep Zoro and Sanji relative for the past 20 years just to have Zoro become considerably stronger EOS. This wouldn't fit their rivalry and would make the arguing less funny if they were in different tiers. Feel free to disagree, this post still fits the idea of admiral level Sanji.

I do not know how it would happen. Maybe around the time Zoro fights Mihawk, the warlord system is abolished and seeing as an infamous pirate crew led by the "5th emperor of the sea" and the former strongest warlord and World's Strongest Swordsman are just chilling on an island, they send Kizaru over with a fleet of battle ships to apprehend them. Zoro and Mihawk pause their duel and Zoro puts his sword to Kizaru's neck before being paused by Luffy who says he'll handle him. Sanji then asks Luffy to sit back and alllow him to do it, and since Luffy has faith in his 2 wings he decides to let it happen and goes to handle the oncoming assault. Kizaru then attempts to kick Luffy but is intercepted by Sanji who says that he shouldn't take his eyes off him.
So they exchange blows and it's looking like neither will give in. However, Sanji eventually proves to be too much for Kizaru to handle, ultimately winning a decisive victory. As the Strawhats have a strict no killing policy, he hands Kizaru's unconcious body back to the navy fleets Luffy was handling at the coast. They stare in awe and hurry to report back to headquarters about the unbelievable truth of what happened. News spreads quickly that, for the first time in the history of the world, an admiral has fallen and by none other than Blackleg Sanji. His bounty will go through the roof afterwards, seeing one of the biggest jumps in the series. After this, the world knows Sanji's name, and he's as infamous as even Luffy for the historic action he's just done. Borsalino, known as Admiral Kizaru, has been defeated. One of the navy's greatest powers have fallen at the feet of Sanji.

What do you all think? This was just a fun theory I came up with and although I find it very cool I'm also aware that chances are this won't happen. Perhaps I read too much into Sanji's words, but this was all very fun and I hope you enjoyed reading it!

Bonney new nakama for Strawhat Pirates? (theory, pros and cons)
Now, ever since Egghead arc started (and even before) a lot of people has been stating that Bonney will join the strawhats and, in retrospective, i think there are some reasons that might actually support this. Personally, i didn't think of her as a much important character, but with the little clues i've been finding i think we might find her being the next addition to the crew by the next arcs.
Lets start:

  • 1. Power Level:
We know due to her reward that she's a powerful character. By her debut time her reward was 140M Bellies, a quite high reward but not as big as Luffy's. Nowdays her reward is 320M, still an acceptable quantity that can show us her power level and ability.

  • 2. Devil fruit:
As we could see in manga chapter 1072, though her DF seemed too much broken at first, we later learned that it's actually not that powerful, yet quite useful. Since her devil fruit doesnt last forever on living beings, it might actually not be too much of a problem against powerful enemies (final boss cathegory) yet very useful against minions and henchmen. Besides, as we could see in Stampede (even if not canon) that fruit was useless against Bullet, so even if powerful, it has its limitations.
Another thing is, and this is now my take coming from the number's theory, her DF's name. Oda is taking a lot to reveal it and i think its not coincidence he is having in mind someone came with the number's thing during SBS. A lot of people has argued that her fruit might be named the Toshi Toshi no Mi (yeaage fruit), but i dont think Oda will go with something that simple, wouldnt be the first time he can give a simpler name to a fruit but instead comes with an onomatopoeia or a thing related to the concept around that fruit.
And i believe her fruit's name will be written in goroawase using either 29 or 92. This being said, i have two options for its name:
- Jiko Jiko no mi (ageing ageing fruit). 時効 (Jikou) meaning aging in japanese and being written as 29 in goroawase. Also, Ji 爺 means ´elder´ while Ko 子 means 'child'.
- Koni Koni no Mi. I dont know if this has any meaning, but if you remember when she infiltrated in MaryGeoise, she pretended to be queen Connie (written in Japanese as コニ (92)), i think Oda left us a little clue there about her devil fruit's name.
Something great about her fruit too is that it can allow Oda to show in the crew with multiple designs, similarly to Chopper, being a sexy young woman, a cute little girl or a lovely ol lady.
Also, back to the numbers theory, some people have arged Nika already fills the 29 part. It does not. Even if its model Nika, its still a Hito Hito, so it stays as both Gomu (56) and Hito (110).

  • 3. Ties with the Strawhats:
We can take her ties with the strawhats from even way before her debut, with Kuma's first appareance in Thriller Bark. Now that we know he's her father, he can give us plenty of reasons to tie her with them.
Let's not forget, Kuma not only tested Zoro's resolution by healing Luffy's pain and prove Zoro's loyalty to him, he also sent each of the strawhats to different locations where they could get stronger AND he protected the Thousand Sunny for TWO GODDAMN YEARS while they were gone.
I believe he has an ulterior motive to do this other than just Luffy being Dragon's son. Andi believe Bonney will travel with the strawhats and find out Kuma's reason for this further in the plot, maybe at some arc after egghead, if the Strawhats and the RA meets.
Now, talking from Bonney herself, she protected Zoro at Sabaody, preventing him from making a scene by slaying a Celestial Dragon, which could've been MUCH WORSE for the crew and all the presents than Luffy punching him in the face.
She's also helping the SH in Egghead, guiding Luffy and the others through the lab and stuff. Luffy Even learned her NAME! Like, her ACTUAL NAME! I mean, we had Law in the alliance ever since Punk Hazard and Luffy keeps calling him Tra-guy!

  • 4. Enemies:
At this point, i think we can agree Bonney and the Strawhats have the same enemies: Akainu, Blackbeard and the Celestial Dragons.
They are the very reason her crew is gone to begin with! Which give her a good reason to join a group, since i don't think Sakazuki being as coldblooded as he is just let them live in a prison, that if BB didn't kill them all. Besides, we didnt see Bonney's crew getting that much interactions as Law's or Kid's, so i don't really think we'll see them again.
Speaking of Blackbeard, we still need a 10th nakama to face the 10 Titanic Captains, and as a personal opinion, i think she would be a perfect match for either Shot or Pizarro.
Personally, i see the match ups as:
Luffy VS BB, Zoro VS Shilew, Sanji VS Burguess, Nami VS Devon, Usopp VS Augur, Brook VS Laffitte, Fraky (using giant meka) VS Wolf, Robin VS Kuzan, and Jinbe VS either Shot or Pizarro.
Both are good match ups for her in my opinion, Pizarro being known as the "Corrupt King", just like her father is known as "The Tyrant", and having a power i think Bonney can counter with her DF. And Shot being the "Heavy Drinker" while Bonney being the "Glutton" and both having piercings.

  • 5. Personality.
Bonney is rude, short-tembered, and a glutton. Theses are the qualities of both a Sukeban and a Bokuko, two anime female personality stereotypes we are lacking in the crew. Besides, as we've seen in egghead, these fit really well with the other crewmates. Some people might arge that having Luffy we dont need another glutton, but having two perverts (Sanji and Brook), two geeks (Chopper and Usopp), two mature, calmed ones (Robin and Jinbe) and two cowards (Nami and Usopp), i dont think this will be much of a problem. Besides, her entomophobia, as we've seen in egghead, can be quite the running gag if she joins.

  • 6. Fighting style.
As we've seen in both canon and non-canon along the series, Bonney fighting style is mostly close combat. Unlike Nami and Robin, who just ocassionally use melee attacks, Bonney uses kicks and also smacks using her DF.

  • 7. Role in the crew.
This is something many people bring up when it coems to new nakamas. They often forget some of them dont show what role can they do in the crew untill they officially join. Jinbe for example, we didn't know he was a helmaster untill Whole Cake.
As a personal opinion, i think she will be the crew's lookout. This being a tribute to Kuma guarding the Sunny during the timeskip.

  • 8. Appareance.
Something i like about Bonney is that she has quite a distinctive appareance, with her piercing and makeup, she looks different enough from Nami and Robin to be easily identified. Some other former candidates for strawhats had kinda borring appareances, being a bit too similar to Nami, such as Vivi, Rebecca, even Yamato would be pretty a like if it wasnt for the horns and, kind of the eyelashes.

  • 9. Background.
As we know, she has a traumatic childhood, probably. I mean, when Oda did the dawings of the Supernovas as kids, she was in such a poor state, probably grew in poberty. We still need to know more about her past, but i think they'll safe that for after egghead and gove more focus to Kuma currently. Still, losing her father to the world goverment and having him turned into a mindless weapong feels quite traumatic enough.
  • 10. Inheritted will and Dream.
Remember i told you Kuma might have an ulterior motive to help the mugiwaras before? I think that will be Bonney's Inheritted will.
We still dont know if she has a dream, probably does but we wont find out untill incoming arcs, whatever it is, im sure Kuma knew and thats why he's keeping something from her past secret from him, and whatever it is, when she finds out, she'll officially join the Strawhats after she has dealt with Kuma's thing.

A great arc entirely ruined by Oda's complete inability to kill even the most meaningless of fodder - Manga reader's first reaction to the anime - Punk Hazard Saga

Punk Hazard is a great arc to introduce the audience into the cruel reality of life in the New World. Weapons of mass destruction, shady underworld dealings, there's a lot going on in the saga in general. Unfortunately, Oda's inability to come through on killing even the most miniscule of characters ruined what the arc managed to build up over its storyline. While I don't think fake out deaths instantly ruin an entire arc on principle, having an entire arc focused on this deadly gas just for the gas to be fixed by smashing them on the ground was an incredibly lackluster conclusion to a very dark arc. A strange choice in contrast to Film Z which maintained being dark throughout the entire movie.

Punk Hazard Saga

I've been reading the manga weekly since Zou, but I've been trying to watch every piece of animated One Piece content before catching up to see how the anime has developed over time. My interest in how the current anime is being used and incorporating a bunch of stuff that isn't in the manga with a much higher quality level made me want to watch weekly, but I didn't want to just jump into the current anime. So I'm watching everything; movies, filler, specials, basically anything that's on MyAnimeList and that I can find online. Been an enjoyable experience, which you can read about in the previous threads:
Not much more to add here, very short saga.

Anime Arcs

Z's Ambition Arc

Thankfully the movie is much better than the filler arc introducing it.
This arc was honestly really boring. As far as I know Film Z is one of the most popular movies from the fans, so I don't expect it to reflect on the movie itself. But I felt like I got nothing out of this arc having watched through it. Little East Blue had a couple funny moments, but outside of Momonga being in this arc I feel like in a week I won't even remember what happened. And why'd they have to make my boy Momonga sweat an early post timeskip Zoro? Use one of the lame Vice Admirals like... Doberman or something. Not the living legend. Villain was pretty lame too, albeit he gets credit for at least making Luffy work a little. Overall this arc is going way down near the bottom.
Toriko Crossover

But can he beat Goku?
3 of the most iconic characters in the entire genre. Son Goku, the grandfather of shonen anime and probably the most beloved anime character to ever exist. Monkey D. Luffy, the main character of the most popular manga of all time whose journey has been followed closely for over 25 years as he searches for one of the biggest mysteries in the history of fiction. And Toriko.
Anyway, this was definitely the best episode of the 3. Some fun action throughout and I think the interactions were a lot more interesting as a crossover than the other two (granted I didn't watch the Toriko half of the last two episodes). Of course Mr. Satan wins the tournament because that man walked so Buggy could run. And it was nice seeing all the characters give Goku energy for a Spirit Bomb. Feel like the DBZ stuff definitely carried this crossover and everybody else just followed behind, but no issue with that.
Punk Hazard

Legacy of Lil Bro begins
It's very weird watching Punk Hazard as somebody done with Wano, cause it really is a whole sequence of events leading to the eventual end of that arc. But it's such a long journey that you really do forget stuff, just naturally. One of the things that I totally forgot about was that Sanji was completely responsible for saving Kinemon two times. He saved the head and decided to bring him along, and then he saved the torso from out of the water (in Nami's body). Unless I'm forgetting something (and it's totally possible I am), I don't think they ever made a call back to this in Wano. Sanji kept telling Kinemon multiple times "I'm responsible for you" because he felt like he's the one who brought him on this journey. Not to get into how everybody feels about what happened to Kinemon in Wano (because there will be time for that), I think it would have been a really cool call back if Sanji saved him instead. Can't blame Oda for not doing it, it certainly would have flown over my head if he did, but just something I noticed immediately as far as Wano callbacks. Kinemon and Momo's reactions to being fed were also great, even if it takes years for that to actually pan out.
The music this arc was awesome. I love Caesar's theme, and they did a great job using some old tracks at just the right time. Like when Mocha ate all the candy, they played a bunch of Drum Island songs. Really felt like a big deal for Chopper as a character, which I enjoyed. There were some other lower key great Straw Hat moments in this arc that I feel like get lost in the shuffle. Usopp's speech to Caesar's subordinates about disrespecting his captain was great, and Franky was popping off outside against Baby 5 and Buffalo. If that fight was tougher I feel like people would bring it up way more as a great Franky moment, but it was kinda easy. Still cool to see Franky Shogun in action. And of course all the stuff with Nami and the kids were great. But my favorite moment was definitely the end when she entrusted them to Tashigi. When she said she has a thing for navy women with kind eyes my heart melted. Luffy's anger against Caesar for what he did to Brownbeard and the kids was also very apparent, and I loved what they added with him using Conqueror's on the guards to look for Caesar when he made it out of the trash chute with Momo, really did feel the big brothelittle brother relationship starting to form already. I think they did a great job of showing how much he was getting under Luffy's skin despite not really being anywhere near the toughest fight Luffy has ever had.
Onto the bad. Oda... why the fuck do you make Sanji such a creep? Sanji is the friend where everybody is joking and then he says the thing that makes everybody stare at him because he made it weird going one step too far. It sucks because there were actual funny moments to the gag of him being in Nami's body. Like when he was jogging talking about how heavy her chest was, I thought that was funny. But when Brook asked to see her panties and he said "YEAH LET'S TAKE PICTURES"... bro... why? Ewww. And the fake out deaths, oh my god they're so bad in this arc. I didn't even remember that Kinemon was a double fake out champ, the Will of P lives on in Punk Hazard.
I'm not going to claim that fake out deaths ruin an arc on principle, I don't believe that. It definitely hurts an arc depending on how major of a fake out it is, but I don't think a fake death inherently ruins the entirety of an arc just for existing. That is NOT the case with Punk Hazard. The entire threat of this arc is that Shinokuni is going to kill them. That is the entire reason they are running and the entire reason they are converging into the building. Most of the tension in this arc is based on the premise of this gas killing them. And the solution to getting past it is just... knock them over and break them and they're fine. Are you serious?! Legitimately one of the dumbest reasons Oda has given for a fake out (at least top 5), and that's saying something. Stuff like the G-5 agents all throwing Tashigi ahead mean absolutely nothing cause it didn't even matter. I'll counter it by comparing with what happened to Mocha. I thought Mocha eating the candy and seeing how Chopper reacted was super emotional, and her somehow ending up completely fine despite essentially OD'ing is certainly a stretch. But at least in the case of that there's a great Chopper moment and he actually does something to help her out of it. Why not just have Chopper create some sort of counter and give him the moment of saving everybody (similar to the Ice Oni Stuff in Wano)? That would have at least been a character based reason, instead of this dumb shit about just knocking them over and breaking them. Which by the complete miracle of plot conveneince works nothing like Aokiji or Boa's powers where if you break them they just die.
Just such a deflating conclusion to an arc that really felt like an introduction into life in the New World. And to contrast it with Film Z's ending as an intro into this saga, it's really night and day that the movie could stick with something dark and impactful while Oda couldn't do the same with the actual story.
Caesar Retrieval Arc

The future Pirate King and Monkey D. Luffy, reunited again.
Luffy vs a submissive and breedable opponent, I don't know I think that's what the arc was about. Kung Fu Dugongs are back though! This is such a weird filler arc, but honestly... didn't hate it. Super weird. Like Naruto level filler weird. But it didn't overstay its welcome. And I feel like the Dugongs are cute enough characters that you just roll with it. Yes the Dugong learned monstrous Haki over the timeskip and created a crew worthy of being Pirate King, what's the confusing part? Everybody saw this coming. Frankly I want to see the dugong on Laugh Tale with his crew, dude is a beast. Villain was fine too for a 3 episode filler.

Film Z

Seeing certain pictures and gifs for years and then finally watching them in context is a weird experience.
Very entertaining movie. You can definitely see the shift towards the One Piece movies just throwing in a bunch of character concepts before they're introduced in the manga, like Aokiji's battle scars. But I don't think that's inherently a bad thing. Speaking of inherently bad things... wow the Sanji scene with young Nami was so much worse than I knew. Like I had heard about the scene but never watched it myself... wow. And then he wanted to go to the hot springs with them after... wow. Zoro even called him gross for it... yeah whoever wrote that hates Sanji.
Moving along. On an individual basis for the movie itself, Zephyr was an awesome character. Pretty much made the movie. His backstory was tragic and all of the final fights were some of the best animated in One Piece up to this point. Luffy vs Zephyr was intense, felt like I was watching Naruto and Sasuke beat the shit out of each other at the end of the series. No powers, just hands. Like they both said at the end, that was just fun. Even if the battle was just over Luffy's hat and a bit of pride, it was still enjoyable to watch because of how interesting of a character Zephyr was. His goal as extreme but not mustache twirly extreme, so ending it by essentially showing why he's a good dude at heart really tied the whole thing together.

Episode of Luffy

Finally get the true story animated
The refresh on Luffy's backstory and telling the full details of Chapter 1 was great to see. It was such a long stretch of flashback you honestly forget there's supposed to be an actual plot to the movie besides the Shanks stuff. Seeing Koby again was nice too, I really enjoyed his role in the story ignoring the flashback. The artisan with the statues was a welcome addition too, it didn't feel like a forced storyline just to tell Luffy's story. That being said, the villain was just not that interesting. He wasn't unbearable by any means and I was interested in why Kizaru of all Admirals was his idol, but that was about as far as the interest went there. Still a decent special given how long the flashbacks were and the cool artisan, but I could do without the villain.
Also the little fashion show at the beginning of the movie was incredibly cute.
Episode of Merry

Merry still lives on
This is a straight up 10/10. I love the entire concept of the special. Brook is the only person in the crew at this point in the story that never met Merry, so telling him the entire story as a means of a recap is super clever. Obviously in a 1 hour 45 minute special they're going to breeze through certain topics, but for somebody who is just looking for a refresh on the story they did such a great job with this. The Usopp vs Luffy fight is even better than I remember, it seemed like they added a lot to the original fight. And getting all the Enies Lobby fights in even higher definition was cool. This is one of the best concepts I've seen for an anime recap, definitely an enjoyable watch. I also like how they're stacking the story up in the current storyline. Z's Ambition leads directly into this (Nami is wearing the same dress) which leads directly into Glorious Island which leads directly into Film Z.

Glorious Island

Look, we both know why we're here.
Watching the crew just hang out on the ship was fun, and Brook vibing in the pool with his floaty tube was relaxing. The boys all hanging out imagining a great feast truly spoke to my soul. This is a must watch for any One Piece fan. A timely 10 minute OVA that was thoughtfully crafted with the fanbase in mind, being cautious not to overexert the audience.
Ok let's be real here, this OVA is just an excuse to look at Nami and Robin ass. And I didn't need an excuse! Thank you Toei for gifting us this piece of art, I'm glad that this is a thing that now forever exists. Truly as glorious as the title suggested.

Cry Heart

Surprisingly good stop motion animations.
So these were stop motion animations that were released by a toy company coming out with different figures. And the intention was for fans to be able to do the same, giving them different faces in a kit to make animations of their own. Honestly for as weird as this entry is even being on the list, honestly these were pretty good. The 3 "episodes they had" were Chopper meeting Hiriluk, the ASL flashback, and Ace dying at Marineford. Pretty professionally done for what is essentially a toy commercial.

Today's episode was TERRIBLE [breakdown]
Disclaimer: If you are easily offended by a person criticizing your favorite brand, don't read this post.
So I'll just breakdown the episode from the part where Queen turns invisible because I can't stomach watching more of this episode and that was where the most impactful/key moments happened in the manga.

Sanji going invisible

Completely ruined. Reading the manga, I had no idea that Sanji went invisible this episode. They did not even TRY with this scene.
In the manga, Sanji goes invisible to both Queen AND the reader. That's very important distinction. Oda specifically made a panel where it shows to the reader that the hall is silent with no one visible. The reader cannot see nor hear Sanji.
SFX literally means silence
Meanwhile in the anime- Sanji is just as visible as he always have been, making loud, teleporting dbz sound effects all over the place. There's no comparison for the watcher to see how fast Sanji is moving.
Sanji going invisible was very important manga event because that's the greatest speed feat that happened to Sanji and manga as a whole:
Then, Sanji deicides to STOP RUNNING in order think....
I was baffled when I saw this.
The whole point of Sanji going invisible is that he CANNOT stop: -If he stops he becomes visible for Queen. -If he stops Queen will catch up to Osome and kill her. -If he stops his attack will not hit as hard.
With this speed Sanji was accelerating in order for his attack to hit harder:
Sanji fainted at the end of the fight because he did not stop moving invisible speed and was exhausted from moving this fast:
Anime completely destroyed the whole point of going invisible.

Queen not taking damage

Ifrit Jambe had no impact whatsoever.
After getting hit by all of Sanji's Ifrit combo attacks, Queen gets up fine, with no damage and starts laughing and talking....
no sign of damage whatsoever. In fact, he looks HEALTHIER lol
... How can anyone defend this episode? They made Ifrit Jambe look WEAKER than diable jambe.

Meanwhile in the manga this was Queen's end. After getting hit by 1 Ifrit Jambe Queen could not stand up and then Sanji was just beating down on him with combo attacks because he made Sanji angry:
Just.... terrible.

Boeuf burst

This is the kick in the anime:
.... That's right, it's 1 singular simple kick that you don't even see fully.
Meanwhile in the manga, it's a barrage of kicks:
Do you see those burst bubbles? Those mean Queen was kicked multiple times, just like Luffy's G2 gattling.
In fact, this attack is an upgraded version of mouton shot that Sanji finished Kuroobi with:
see panel showing multiple kicks as well
This is how Boeuf Burst SUPPOSED to look like in action:
getting kicked by multiple kicks at the same time
But all we get is a single, simple kick that we barely see...

Queen flying out of Onigashima

They even ruined something as simple as this.
In the manga, Queen is kicked UPWARDS, MILES away from Onigashima, with no sign of beginning to fall:
This supposed to show Sanji's new RAW physical strength he obtained, that now he can easily make someone as as large and heavy as Queen get sent flying miles away upwards.
What did anime do?
Replace the shot with far away view and make Queen start falling BEFORE even reaching the edge of Onigashima
Also they made Queen getting kicked from the wrong side of Onigashima lol, that's where Zoro and King are fighting

MANGA Sanji- super fast, super strong.
ANIME Sanji- super slow, super weak, ifrit jambe does no damage.
For me, it's one of the worst episodes I have ever witnessed watching out of any other anime adaptations.

If the opponent isn't old, sick, or foddder, never bet on Akainu in a 1 on 1. And no, he isn't an EOS opponent for Luffy

2023.05.02 22:03 InterestingSun6070 Sanji will lose his emotions and the promised duel will happen

"Queen made Sanji remind Germa"
"is a ruthless heart the way to victory?"
"a unknown flame flres up in his NEARLY FROZEN SOUL"
Thats was the chosen words in the preview for episode 1061 (Sanji vs Queen)
this means that the possibility of Sanji losing his emotions if he continued to use the raid suit was real. Sanji with a heart of ice was what Judge wanted.
We don't know if not using the raid suit is enough to stop, or if when his eyebrows change he still can lose his emotions slowly
Sanji lineage factor is not complete, and only will be complete if his hair be BLACK like his raid suit
Oda already showed how is Sanji with black hair and also this scene with Luffy can be another foreshadowing
Sanji with his power up get a boost in strenght, speed, defense, regenaration. I don't think this power up will be free from consequences. Has a big chance of affecting his mind or his heart.
Sanji's blond hair is physical and explicit proof of how different he is from his brothers, having blond hair like his mother Sora
The black hair would mean that Sanji lost this resemblance to his mother.
Oda also say something strangely about Sanji's eyebrows, compared to the Sun, Earth, Moon, Sanji's eyebrow became much more mysterious after this SBS and the way her design is repeated in the akuma no mi was also a mystery. but i got a theory about this
the eyebrows indicate how the heart looks, if it is a burning heart with humanity or an ice heart without humanity. Well the Earth works in a similar way. If the Earth started spinning backwards, the Earth’s circulation will affects the planet’s climate, if it starts to rotate the opposite, climate disasters will happen. And that connects with Oda-sensei’s enigmatic answer.
Oda has also already answered us about the nationality of each Straw Hat. In that case, Sanji’s nationality would be France.
France is very connected t for Sanji's character, he fights speaking French, expressing his passion for cooking in his many techniques. The black leg style is a mix of martial arts with the legs, Capoeira (Brazil), Taekwondo (Korean) and Savate (FRENCH). Sanji in the iron mask in his childhood was inspired by a French tale the man in the iron mask. Germa being Germany and Sanji France is a good contrast between them, because France and Germany has a historical enmity. Sanji's fighting style of preserving his hands and speaking French not only represents his passion for cooking, it also represents his rebellion against his heritage (Germa). and more importantly France is the country of love and gastronomy (culinary science).
What would happen to France if the Earth started spinning backwards? In the same way that if the eyebrow were on the opposite side, your heart would freeze, so would France if the earth rotated in the opposite way, France would face a terrible winter. So winter is comig for Sanji heart?

Processing img c94b52v5kixa1...
Another proof of how Sanji's eyebrows represent his heart is thats possible make a heart by putting them together. I'm not good at drawing, so I'll use Kingdom Hearts as an example.

Many people did not understand what means for Sanji be emotionless. Without emotions Sanji cannot protect anyone, he will lose his passion for cook, he will lose his empathy for hungry people, the most important thing to a chef. He would lose his ideals, gratitude to Zeff, loyalty to his friends, he will lose what his mother sacrifice give to him, is worst than death.
Thats why Sanji made Zoro promise to kill him, this fight will happens, and only gone happens if Sanji lose his mind, will be a serious fight and with good reasons
when Sanji says "thanks" in anime, he says "wuarina" what means "sorry". Sanji was feeling bad to give Zoro this mission, because he knows is hard, Zoro proved in thriller bark than he prefers give his life than let Sanji die.
Zoro don't know what Kuma woud do with them, both think Kuma woud just kill them and leave, Sanji was ready to give his life for the crew, but Zoro don't let
they discuss a lot, but they proved they can die to protect each other. Sanji still is counting with Zoro to do the necessary, what even Luffy coud not do, KILL a crew member.
Hurt a nakama, a crew member is very painful, Luffy and Sanji knows the feeling.
Luffy vs Usopp
Luffy knows that pain

2023.05.02 14:30 Benzgeg [Part 2 - Post/Subpart n°2] Who or what are the Ancient Weapons, The One Piece, The Great Kingdom or Laugh Tell? Drawing-Based, Fact-Based and Myth-Based Theory inspired by the One Piece logos and the sketch world map drawn by ODA. [Divided into multiple posts due to its length]

This post is part n°5 of a Bigger theory. here.

An extension of the main characters of Part I that hold a special relationship with the Ancient weapons.

Part II - Post/Subpart n° 2.2: The Pluton's logo

Content for this Part:
Deciphering Pluton with Mythology and these graphical clues
For TLDR, read the headings, bold sentences, and look at the images if any.
Recalling what I discovered in part 2.1 that basically there is an obvious correspondence between the Red Luffy's territories/weapons and the secret pattern left by Oda in his One Piece world sketched map
With a bit of research, I manage to link the most plausible objects/characters of One Piece with these patterns (the details will be further discussed in each ancient Weapon dedicated part).
Here is an overview of:

Deciphering Pluton with Mythology and these graphical clues

1. The logo interpretation: PLUTON LOGO

The Bottom part: The old Wano GeneratoDrilling Ship

My thinking is that even though Momonosuke resides in Wano, he is not directly related to the Ancient Weapon Pluton himself because the Country of Wano and its architecture are the reals embodiments of the Weapon Pluton. Wano itself has some unique traits of the underworld with its scorched/desolated lands, its volcanic activity, the presence of the yakuza linked to the underworld organization, the presence of "Enma" a blade said to be able to send its enemies to the underworld. I believe Pluton and Uranus will be reconnected to each other (see parts 3.3.A & 3.3.F) which explains the dwelling of Momonosuke and Zunesha near Wano and the collusion of hints and myths both in favor of Uranus and Pluton found in Wano.
My theory is that Pluton was created to extract Seastone and gold for its conductive property needed to produce electricity for the Great Kingdom. Since moon people could have been thriving on electricity and their technology could have been based on it according to how the Birka / Spacey factory is oddly made of electrically conductive materials and seems to run on electricity. This could explain the exodus of the Birka people to the Earth to look for gold. In fact, Enel's maxim is similarly based on gold recovered from the city of Shandora and Enel feels particularly attracted to this metal.
My guess is that After being assembled on Water 7 (before the forgotten century when the Ancient kingdom was booming, at least 1000 years ago), Pluton was dispatched to create a massive borehole (reminiscence of Pluton's shape) where Ennies lobby is now situated to connect the surface with an underground kingdom to extract, convert and reoriented the hot energy source of this underground place and Seabed minerals toward the surface.
This idea by itself could explain why Seastone is exclusively made in Wano country where they benefit from the volcanic activity of the island which produces Seastone in the old Wano (Chapter 1055). Stretching this idea bit further, the atypical Shape of Wano Country might be the result of the creation of Seastone quarries on its land that facilitate the extraction and production of Seastone by turning the country into a man-made volcanic dyke that extracts magma from the depth to be processed into other precious minerals like Seastone or Gold. These quarries could also explain why the former name of Wano was "Country of Gold (黄金の国 Ōgon no Kuni)" since gold was a byproduct mineral of the search for Seastone and expelled by the Volcano. This idea makes Wano a huge open-air forge for the crafty blacksmiths of Wano to turn magma into exploitable materials.
Overall, from this perspective, the shape of the logo could depict Pluton as being a part of Wano's underground itself, making the underground of Wano thanks to its shape, and structure, not just an island but a floating ship in disguise. Thus, making the country the real ancient weapon Pluton whose function could be both:

The Upper part: Pluton's carriepartner, Zunesha.

The image on its upper part can evoke a big elephant with excessively long legs carrying something between its legs. This is an obvious reference to Zunesha whose role could also be connected to Pluton as well as Uranus. Despite being already related to Uranus as demonstrated previously, Zunesha seems to also have a role to play regarding the opening of the border of Wano and thus the release of Pluton. In that regard, Zunesha could also act as a Behemoth, a primeval male land monster created by God at the beginning of creation and often paired with the other chaos monster, the Leviathan, the primeval female sea monster (Mother Earth creature, see Parts 1 & 3).
Alternatively, if it is not Zunesha, it could be a volcanic dwelling creature like an Ancient Giant as foreshadowed by Onigashima's Skull Dome, the underground volcanic activity of Wano or Kaidou's lineage and desire to settle with this crew on Wano, the probable land of his Ancient Giant ancestors. An Ancient Giant partner will be capable of opening the border of Wano, destroying the side walls, and moving the ship where it is needed, especially since Oars, an ancient giant was known to be able to displace continents. In Greek mythology, the Giants were the offspring of Gaia (Mother Earth), born from the blood that fell when Uranus (Zunesha) was castrated by his Titan son Cronus (Imu). The vanquished Giants were said to be buried under volcanoes and to be the cause of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes like during the Wano arc when both Kaidou and Big Mom both Giant descendants were buried under Mont Fuji.

2. Mythological reference + Enel Cover Cross-reference

Linking a specific character to Pluton was the hardest to figure out, because in Greek and Aztec mythology exist several underworld gods with different roles that intertwine with the role of Moon deities and Earth deities.
Given these constraints, the best possible match/ idea turned out to be Nefertari Lili and later Imu for several reasons:
Character: Queen Nefertari Lili before merging with IMU’s (Lilith/Saturn's) evil personality (absorbed into Saturn's body / infused with Lilith's personality thanks to an Ope Ope no Mi transplant (see Part 2.3))
Associated Real or Hypothetic Celestial Body: Pluto + Moon as Black Moon Lilith
Associated Greek divinity: Hades + Devil Queen (Lilith) / Artemis
Associated Aztec divinity: Mictlantecutli + Ītzpāpālōtl / Coyolxāuhqui
Associated Hindu divinity (Navagrahas, Vasus, Dikpâlas): Yama / Ravana / Mara + Kali
Associated animal (Manga + Mythology): Catfish / Dragon + Underworld Demons (Ancient Giant)
Associated mythological animal (Potential Zoan shape / antique weapon partner): Mothra / Lernaean Hydra / Lamia / Níðhöggr / Campe + Oni / Ogre / Cherufe / Tzitzimitl
Associated Creature in the Manga: Zunesha's Legs/Belly + Mother Earth's back
Associated Ship in the Manga: Pluton Itself
Associated Territory in the Manga: Arabasta + Wano's underground + Mary Geoise underground: From the surface to the Netherworld.
Associated Semi-divine Buddhist race & Manga equivalent: Rakshasa (Ancient Giant)
Associated Constellation/Zodiac sign: Scorpius or Ophiuchus, the Serpent Bearer
Associated astrological traits of the corresponding celestial body: Strength of character, leadership, manipulative
Birth Place: Arabasta / Water-7 / Mary Geoise
Birth Date: 06/06 of year 6 by speculation: 666

The Nerfertari were always key to Pluton:

As I mentioned in Part 2.1 and demonstrated for Uranus and Poseidon each Ancient Weapon could form a tryptic between a character a creature and a ship. The ship is confirmed to be in Wano but the character is not because Oda loves to blur the line like with Momonosuke the embodiment of Uranus yet located in Wano. Indeed, the character associated with Pluton was related to Arabasta all along, where the ancient weapons and its Poneglyph were first introduced. In chapter 193, it’s revealed that Pluton is Crocodile’s entire reason for taking over Alabasta. In fact, he’s so confident that Pluton’s hidden somewhere in Alabasta, that even after Robin betrays him in chapter 203, he plans to continue to take over the desert kingdom and look for the weapon. Later, in chapter 218, Cobra confirms that the Poneglyph most definitely revealed information about Pluton and asks why Robin lied because he already knew it from the letter left by Lili having inherited as a Nefertari member the will of its Queen Lili. This makes the Nefertari a royal family secretly allies of the D. and entrusted with keeping an Ancient Weapon safe. Similarly, to the Ryugu Familly with Poseidon and the Kozuki/Minks clan with Uranus. In fact, Lili may have told her descendants to protect the Poneglyph and only show it to D.s who might ask about it to help them in their restoring true history quest.

The Underworld & its connection with Imu and the World Government territory:

Remarkably, the beginning of the New World is the dedicated territory of the Underworld organization. This organization has tight connections with the world Nobles and the World Government as showcased by the role of Doflamingo an ancient World Noble converted into a broker for the organization, the career transition of Aokiji in the underworld or Stussy an underworld organization leader and a CP-0 member. Thus underlying, this collusion between the entities of the Saturn territory (World Noble of Mary Geoise) and the entities of the Pluton territories (Underworld organization protagonists) and indirectly extending Pluton's territory also in Grandline Paradise inside the WG territory where the God Pluto might reside.

Imu/Lili and its relation with the Earth and the Underworld like Pluto

Hades had many epithets and notably Plouto, the god and the personification of wealth and his link to the underworld since mineral wealth was found underground, and because as a chthonic god, Pluto ruled the deep earth that contained the seeds necessary for a bountiful harvest.
Pluto's dwelling is in Tartarus and supposedly resides from time to time in his palace in the Elysium of the Greek underworld. But Cronus is supposedly the king of the Elysium and always dwell in it.
Initially, Pluto was considered a God of dissolution and fate in the cycle of life-death-rebirth and viewed death not as evil but as a journey. But the classical underworld deities like Pluto later became casually interchangeable with The Devil as an embodiment of Hell. Hades was also depicted as cold and stern, and he held all of his subjects equally accountable to his laws.
Although Yama is the lord of Naraka, he may also direct the soul to a Swarga (heaven) or return it to Bhoomi (earth). Naraka is the Hindu equivalent of Hell, where sinners are tormented after death. In Hindu mythology, Naraka holds many hells, and Yama directs departed souls to the appropriate ones given the deeds of the souls. Additionally, he is often depicted with the head of a buffalo, three round eyes, and sharp horns entwined with flame which could relate Pluto and Lili/Imu to the third-eye tribe like Pudding.
Ravaṇa is a character from Hindu mythology. King of the rakshasas of Lankâ and enemy of Rāma (Momo) in the epic Ramayana. Ravaṇa is the father of Indrâjit (Enel) and the three-headed Trishiras (Teach). Ravaṇa seized the throne from his half-brother Kubera (Enel's ancestoToki's father), the initial rightful king of Lankâ (Mary Geoise) and stole his flying palace, the Pushpaka Vimana (Maxim/Floating city Uranus). His ten heads and twenty arms are a metaphor for the fact that he could do ten things at once in art, science, music and more, powers probably obtained from Shiva. Indeed, Ravaṇa was granted by the god, as a result of his prayers, an advantage: he would henceforth be safe from the attacks of the devas (Sky/lunar deities), the asuras (Earth/solar deities, Devas' enemies), the rakshasas (the demons, the Ancient Giants), the Gandharvas (the celestial musicians, the Lunarias), the yakshas (celestial demigods servant of Kubera, Minks) and other magical creatures like Kumbhanda/Guhyaka (World Noble). In his arrogance, Râvana forgot to ask for protection from humans (the last race that has not been yet wiped out in OP). To kill King Ravaṇa, Vishnu incarnated himself as Rāma (Momonosuke). Ravaṇa captured and imprisoned Sītā (Nefertari Vivi), Rāma's wife. Rāma and his faithful commander-in-chief, the monkey Hanumān (Luffy), led an army of men and animals (Revolutionary army (including the Cross Guild composed of Ex-Revo members, see Part 1/Jupiter) + artificial Zoan users), to destroy Ravana and free Sita.

The helmet of this character seems to be made of metal/seastone to recall the material that composes the weapon Pluton. The character wears 3 shaka knot earrings to recall the symbolism of the 3 headed Cerberus guardian of the inferno or to recall the earrings of a samurai whose ancestors were from Wano where Pluton resides and who happens to possess the sword "Enma", a reference to Enma-daiō, the name given by the Japanese to the Buddhist King of Hell Yama.
