My name is Nebojša, and I am an 18-year-old student from the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a member of a military family, my passion for anything military-related is huge, and a about a year ago, I started collecting military insignias from different nations' armed forces.
Since I began collecting, I have reached out to armed forces around the world via email, but unfortunately, I have received responses from only a handful of nations and some kind Redditors. Despite my efforts, my collection is still quite small, and my goal is to have at least one insignia from as many nations as possible.
I sent an email to the MoD and the MoI in August of 2022 but did not receive a response. So, I am reaching out to the taiwan community to see if anyone who has served or is currently serving in the Armed Forces or Police that would be willing to help me add to my collection by sending me a patch.

I've loved my Jabra 65T's since I got them, but recently I've been running into problems
My headset could be in the case for hours or days, and it never seems to have a 100% charge. As an example I pulled them out yesterday and it said "Low Battery", showing 10-20%, even though it's been charging. I tried resetting my case, I've cleaned my headphone ports pretty well imo (perhaps I need to be more thorough). Originally, I thought it was cause the case wasn't staying completely closed? I could push on the lid and it would close just a bit more so I wrapped my case up with elastic bands to try and keep a good connection on the charge ports. I bought these headphones in and around when the 75T's were announced

I've had my headphones plugged in at one point for well over 2H+ and it still showed a slow green blink saying its charging but it doesn't seem to hold a charge? Or perhaps my case isn't able to charge my headphones anymore? Looking for any aid/advice to troubleshoot the issue. I'd love to keep these but it might be time to upgrade =<

My biiiiiggest issue / problem with ADHD right now, which is making my life really difficult - is sleep procrastination.
I'll be sooo tired during the day - or in the evening - and i'll tell myself "I'm going to bed early today !".
Then, at 10 PM, I tell myself "OK time to go to bed".... followed by a "ok, let me just sit down for another second here and cuddle with the dog".... hm... "okay, i'm going to watch a Youtube video - just one".... or "Oh, let me look up something on Reddit".... then, getting sucked into a rabbit hole - and then all of a sudden it's 1:30 AM - and i'm still not in bed !!!
I don't have any difficulty falling a sleep once I get to bed - but I just can't get myself to go to my room, put down my phone, and just turn off the light.
Any tips ? Any suggestions ? Any Solutions ?

Hi guys, I’m new to 3D printing and just received my ender 3 and every video I’ve googled is almost like a science equation. I didn’t realize that owning this required 14 years of rocket science engineering.
Anyways, I barely put this thing together- and I bought a CR Touch Auto Leveling Kit, but based on the videos I see, everyone is talking about doing a “z offset” before even leveling the bed. Problem is, only videos I’m finding for this is for the ender pro, and other versions. I only have the basic ender 3, and there is one video but the guy says “oh I have a video dedicated to the z offset in my link” which conveniently he does on the ender pro…
Can I just get help setting this thing up, you have NO idea how frustrated these last 3 days have been putting this thing together.
Edit: I was able to print like 5 things before I ran into a big issue that has put a COMPLETE hold on printing. Every time it starts printing now, the z offset is off again, the nozzle is digging into the plate, even after I’ve tried the “paper trick” 45 times. And also, it sounds like it’s breaking every time the plate moves with a specific “clicking noise” tbh, do I get rid of it at this point?

Hello Reddit! I have a situation to share with you all and I'd love some perspective.
I'm a 32-year-old man who decided to leave my stressful corporate job to follow my dream of cooking. I opened a pizza shop in our local town, with my supportive gf (29F) backing me all the way.
Our neighbors have a son, 'John' (16M), a hardworking, polite teenager who has shown a keen interest in the restaurant business. Recognizing this, I offered him a part-time job at my shop. John was excited about the opportunity and his dad (44M) gave his consent.
But things got complicated with John's mom, who we'll call 'Karen' (42F). Karen felt that John's pay was unfairly low because he's a teenager, even though he's doing less complex tasks and learning a lot on the job. She argued that because I'm making a profit off his labor, he should be paid as much as an adult. ESekai had Rin and Juna, so it had an all-ages appeal, but all of Endless looks like ten. And considering ESekai, they might probably act like ten as well. I mean they seem like fine talents otherwise.

It’s my birthday next Tuesday. I don’t really care about birthdays, but I did plan to get myself a gift. My birthday is on the 13th and Diablo 4 released on the 6th, my husband has been very excited and he planned that we would spend the release at our friends for like 4 days. We’ve made jokes that I’m just not having a birthday this year. Since I was already taking time off and we were hanging with our friends anyway, I was going to just consider this any birthday plans. Our friends are a couple and really love legos, so I was going to purchase the Razorcrest (a $600 set very expensive not gonna lie) on Affirm so I could build legos with my friend while my husband and his friend played the game. I had mentioned this a couple of times to my husband.
So once it got close to the weekend my husband didn’t think this was a good idea because it would be hard to transport back and forth (we also had to bring his PC to the friends house). When I mentioned that I’ve mentioned this before he said it was too expensive and we couldn’t afford it. Finally he told me he was planning on getting it for me the next weekend so I could spend the weekend at home building it. He played it up as this big thing he was planning, and said “Wow did you really think I wasn’t going planning everything for your birthday?” Since it’s expensive I assumed he had saved up and was really excited he would get such an expensive gift for me and I asked him multiple times if he was sure.
So now the Thursday before the Friday we were supposed to go pick it up we were talking about it and somehow the price came up and he said how he didn’t know how much that cost and that we can’t afford that. At this point this has been built up so much that I was really disappointed and frustrated that he made it seem like he planned this big surprise but didn’t look up the price? When I said that he basically glossed past it and called me an asshole for making him feel like a “chump” for not having the money and that he couldn’t provide for me. He works a physical job and works very hard. I immediately got defensive that he would think I thought that way. The only thing I was upset about was that he made it seem like he planned this and he didn’t. I understand now that would be too expensive to purchase all at once, and I’m not that kind of person to expect someone to provide for me. When I clarified that he just glossed right past that and said I was upset he didn’t have the money and was being a brat for being upset about not getting the present. Accountability is something we fight about a lot, i get a lot of “I’m sorry but…”. I understand that I probably shouldn’t have gotten upset, but when he made it seem like I was pissed at him for not providing made me feel like he was turning the whole thing on me and I wasn’t allowed to be disappointed he didn’t do a simple google search. My conclusion on faith:
We are saved by faith in the trinity. Works are there to strengthen your faith. Sin weakens your faith until it dies.
Reasons for evil:
Isaiah 45:7 / I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things
You have free will to choose to be good or evil. God allows you to choose even if he knows what you will choose. If he doesn't allow evil people to exist he cannot give free will to man or he cannot let man be created. If man has no free will then we can no longer call ourselves human being as we would be something else. If we are not created by God he cannot save his lost sheep born into a world of good and evil where the ground is cured and weeds grow amongst the wheat.
Hell was created for the fallen angels but also because evil people exist. Evil people cannot escape justice so God created a place of torment for them. This place is for people who disobey God and refuse to serve him.
Matthew 13: 37-39 / He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
God needs cursed ground to sow the seeds of sinners. God has rules which he also follows, he does not just do as he wants. The devil can sow his own seeds as well. The devil's seeds/children can also be saved.

The devil is making mistakes as you can see from the verse above. Weeds can also be saved.
These sinners can be saved by faith in God the son. We are all black sheep which God is coming to find.
The reason for life:
You have free will but God also told you not to sin. Therefore you can ignore God's will and do as you please or you can obey God and do his will.
When you die or come to the end of your life on earth God will tell you who you are. Only God can define you. God loves you and wants to bless you too. Your blessings depends on what you did during your life on earth.

I have a very old internet plan of 15mb and just upgraded to a fiber optic internet at the speed of 1000mb, the technician will be here next week to set it up so i'm still on my old internet.
To prepare for the plan I bought yesterday a media converter (that box you need for fiber internet) and a new wifi usb stick with antenna for the higher speeds. Unplugged my old one, plugged the new one, worked fine for the rest of the day.
Today my internet was crawling, ran a speed test and it was 1mb instead of the usual 15. Tried to plug the old usb wifi stick - speed was 6. Tried uninstalling the old usb stick from device manager and plugging back the new one - speed is around 4-5. Did multiple resets in between all of these and checked the new antenna has the drivers up to date. Another computer in the same household that connects to the same router and wifi has a normal speed of 15.
Help.

For context: I am based on the US, ride dressage and work with a trainer who has imported numerous horses, so I was pretty well prepped on what to expect. Nothing was bad or crazy about this experience, I just feel like this might help others out there.
Finding an agent: Most likely if you are working with an experienced trainer, they will have contact info for an agent in Europe. If not, always ask how the agent is compensated. Some go on % of the price you pay on the horse, but others go on a fixed cost model (fee + travel expenses like hotels, food, rental car). Personally, I prefer the fixed cost model, but to each their own. Make sure you are clear with the agent about your price range and know that they typically work in euros - so if your budget is in USD or your local currency, do yourself a favor and make the conversion ahead of time. Also remember that that conversion changes regularly and, when you're talking in 5-6 figure budgets, you will notice those differences. Also be clear about any deal breakers. If you are staying in one general area, you probably need 4 days or so. Give yourself more time than you think you need (explained in etiquette section)
Booking the trip: Chances are, if you want to be able to view video ahead of your trip, you will not get a long lead time between booking and going. Obviously flights can be cheaper if you book well ahead of time, but sellers can only hold horses for so long. Some are quite accommodating and will hold for a week or 2, but remember that this is an inherent cost on their end. Also, when it comes to hotels and such, trust that your agent knows the best places to stay. A good agent will know small, nearby places that are typically less expensive and closer to the barns.
Etiquette: Shopping in Europe is quite differently paced than shopping in the US. For example, when you arrive, they will typically sit you down and have some coffee, maybe tell you about the stables, etc. It's friendly, welcoming and shouldn't be rushed through - even if you are dead-set on seeing a lot of horses on your trip. Great barns want to know that their horses are going to the right homes. When it comes to trying the horse, however, the timing aspect is sort of reversed. The moment you know this is not the horse for you, even if you haven't gotten on, you can say that you would like to pass. They will be glad you haven't wasted their time and will not be annoyed (I tend to find that such a terse interaction in the US would be considered rude - that doesn't apply at these barns that are getting in people regularly from around the world). Just as an aside, the horses will always be fully braided and turned out as if they are headed to a show. I honestly think that that presentation (and the offering of a drink or coffee) are very inexpensive ways that US sellers could heighten their game. But I digress.
Vetting: At least in Germany, it is federal law that the seller provide a standard set of 18 x-rays at their expense. I think it's feet (not skyline view), hocks, and stifles. Any additional x-rays can be purchased at your cost and they are generally quite a bit cheaper than in the US (because vets are doing x-rays regularly). So, for example, I added back and neck and the clinic charged me 250 euro. I vetted 2 horses and the sellers actually paid for both clinical vettings because, by their explanation, I was the first to vet both horses and it was easier for them to pay for it and then own the vetting if I decided to pass so they could keep it on file. (Obviously I was given the reports first so it's not like I had to get the reports through the sellers and worry about tampering or whatever)
Price negotiations: Aside from a language barrier and having a guide through the country, this is where a good agent can be key. This is a lot like it is in the US (prices can change based on vet findings, etc), but having a native speaker is very helpful. Also be aware (if this matters to you) if the seller works on a "coupon system". Essentially, some really big sale barns will tell you "if you don't like the horse, you can exchange it for another of equal value in such and such length of time". I'm honestly not sure if I find this good or bad, it's just sort of how it works. These barns have so many horses, it becomes easier to basically give you "store credit" to buy a different horse than give back your money. Oh, because I forgot to mention: European laws protect the consumer far more than the US (which does basically nothing in the case of horses). You have 2 years to return a horse, even if the horse was properly represented and it just didn't work out.
Import: Depending on where you fly into, it's safe to say that you will need to allocate $7500-$12k to import. Geldings only require 2-3 days of quarantine (depending on the time it takes to get bloodwork done), so that is why they are the most popular for import. Mares have to stay in quarantine for 3 weeks (I think that's right? Feel free to correct me anyone who has experience with this). If you are importing a stallion, I believe they are also 3 weeks AND they are required to breed to 2 mares during that time (it's flushed, no foal) to ensure they don't have equine STD's. Obviously since this is quite a hassle, only certain quarantine barns will accept stallions and I'm sure the import cost is far beyond what I have estimated above. Also, a pallet of horses (yup, they call them pallets) has 3 stalls and they will not fly the horses if the pallet is not filled. (Yeah, no extra leg room situations)

My wife has been pulling her hair out during the day with our 5 month old only napping for 30 minute stretches, and only getting in 3 naps a day.
The only way we can get longer is if someone co-sleeps with him, or we put him in a carrier.
We've tried extending wake windows to 2-3 hours, tried sticking to a tight sleep amd feed schedule, but so far there's no change.
At night he's not as bad, waking every 3 hours instead, and can usually be rocked back to sleep.
Are we stuck with this nap schedule, or does anyone have suggestions?

Hi everyone.
I’m currently working in defense as a controls tech with an AS degree and also currently enrolled part time in uni for a CS bachelors.
I’m seeing if anyone that’s in the industry(or not) that would be able to point me the right direction of a position where I could gain some light software engineering experience. I wouldn’t mind leaving the industry either if the opportunity is worth it. I’ve been keeping my eyes in other contractors but nothing I’ve seen is applicable for me yet.
Where I am now, it’s not the best spot since I’m not getting any hands on experience at what I want to do.
It’s going to be a while before I’m eligible for an internship so I’d rather change my day job to something related to CS.

I know this has been answered before but I maybe this particular case is different. Our cat has always been very clean and did all her stuff inside her litter box, except a few times when she could be pissed at something. But from almost 2 months ago now she's only using her litter box for peeing, and only poops next to the outside door. This behavior started after a short trip we did with her and where I let her walk around a little bit (she's an indoor cat). Me and my wife work most days but she never spends more than 8/9 hours by herself, and I take my time for playing with her every time I come back home. She's also very cuddly in the morning and before bedtime. We took her to the vet a couple of times and she's in perfect health. We clean her toilet once a week, and added a second one in a different part of the apartment to see if she would use that one. We took her out again thinking that maybe she wanted to be out and abysome more, but the bad behavior remains and I have no idea what to do anymore. HALP! Thank you in advance!

People new to classical, or curious about it, often say that they are reluctant to attend a concert because there are too many rules and that they don't know the etiquette. Here is the entirety of classical music etiquette:
The most important rule: Have fun. Enjoy yourself. Forget about the world and immerse yourself in the sound for a couple of hours.
The rest:

1. Get to your seat before the concert starts. You might hear a gong or bell sound in the lobby. This is a signal that you should start heading to your seat. You can also just follow the crowd. Go to the bathroom before you go to your seat (in the rest room, as is customary at concerts).
2. Turn off your phone or put it on silent. Keep the phone in your pocket or purse until you go back out to the lobby.
3. While the musicians are playing, don't talk or otherwise bother the people around you. (They are probably conducting the orchestra in their minds or writing a hypothetical concert review, so let them have their own headspace.)
4. Clap after all of the movements of the entire piece are over. If you don't know the piece, then you can follow along in your program. After the last movement ends clap away. For a little extra pretentiousness, feel free to shout "Bravo!" You will not be the only one, I assure you. (Clapping is not actually required, so don't feel any pressure to take the lead in audience participation.)

That's it. Dress codes aren't a thing anymore although shorts and (for men) sandals are probably not a good look. Dress casual or, if you are having a fancy date night, dress up. It's up to you. Personally, I feel that you can never go wrong with business casual, whatever that is these days.

I know this is somewhat different to the normal posts here but in many ways just was important.
I have felt trapped in my own mind unable to tell anyone or to just get all this hatred out of me. I really hate pickles, everything they aee and stand for. i dont know if they're political or not and that scares me too. i dont like things i cant understand, and i do not understand pickles. Like what are pickles? Cucumbers? peppers? some other outlandish thing? They go in burgers, they always end up in my fish and chips even when i specifically said "no pickles". They are everywhere and i cant escape them. you go to the shop and oh look some pickles, you go to a resturaunt and oh look that guys got a PICKLE in his burger?! Who decided these green slimey freaks of a presumed vegitable are something we need in day to day life. They serve no purpose. and dont get me started on how people are calling me weird for not liking pickles, i know not many humans share my hatred for these pickles but just look at other things that arent human. ever seen a cat get scared of a pickle? yeah, alot have and its clearly because cats are way smarter than us and clearly know that pickles are obviously a key factor in the ultimate ending of society. i seriously do not like nor trust any pickles. they are foul and deserve to be rid of this earth. And i am coming for them, im coming for all the pickles and all the pickle enjoyers, anybody associating with pickles will be in my list of targets. I'm gonna make pickles as extinct as the night furies. I will succeed in my fight against pickles, no matter the cost.
