2023.05.29 22:46 Chance_Poet_2253 The vendors at the Hollywood Bowl have gotten out of control
I went to two nights of The Cure last week at the Bowl. Haven’t been there since before the pandemic and I’m shocked at how insane the vendor situation has gotten.
There are so many hot dog stands and bootleg merch vendors crowding on highland now that you can’t even move and it causes seriously dangerous foot traffic gridlock. There’s almost 18,000 people leaving the same place at the same time and I’m confused why it’s so unregulated because not only are there so many vendors on the sidewalk (I’d say there were about 200 on highland between the bowl and Hollywood Blvd) but they’re all aggressive.
The bootleg t shirt guys will get in your face and scream at you, hot dog ladies moved their carts to block the sidewalk so people were walking into the street to get around them. I was almost hit by a car and traffic directors were screaming at people to get back on the sidewalk but there was literally nowhere to walk on the sidewalk because there were fucking coolers and trolleys and bicycles and suitcases from vendors.
I saw two t shirt vendors get into a fist fight and no one was around to stop them.
My friend went to the last night of their shows at the Bowl and said he saw someone get hit by a car because there was no room on the sidewalk and everyone was walking in the street to get down Highland.
I’m floored. I know the LAPD are extremely useless, I’ve had my own experiences to prove this. But it’s a genuine security hazard to people.

2023.05.29 22:03 Lisa7055 Any info about what’s happening on N Raleigh Blvd by Food Lion?
Was leaving work and saw 2 cops speeding down Crabtree. I take Raleigh Blvd to get home and ran into like 5 police cars all stopped on the road and saw one guy on the ground in cuffs. People in the surrounding apartments were all outside filming and watching. Any idea what happened?

2023.05.29 21:22 thr3e_kideuce How I would fix transit in the Bay Area (in chronological order)
- Merge BART, Caltrain, and SMART into a single regional rail system. This would involve Caltrain transitioning from a commuter rail system into a regional rail system with the Dumbarton Rail Corridor. The new service would be called BART (Bay Area Regional Transit). Caltrain and SMART lines would get numbers and BART lines would have numbers to differentiate the track gauge. This means VTA would give up its ownership of its BART stations.
- Force Santa Clara, Alameda, SF, Marin, Sonoma, Solano, Napa, Contra Costa, and San Mateo counties to start contributing a certain amount of funding to the combined system. Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. did this with the Washington Metro which is now starting to recover. BART can no longer operate itself, maintain itself, or pay for projects based on fares alone and needs a confirmed source of funding. And yes, Atherton and Berkeley have to shut up.
- Implement BRT and Trans on several corridors (Mission Blvd, Hesperian Blvd, San Pablo Ave, El Camino Real, etc.) as a starting ground.
- Start implementing light metro systems to complement the combined regional rail system. They would mostly act as spur lines (i.e. Niles Canyon to Newark connecting to the Dumbarton Bridge) or bypass lines (i.e. a new line along Hesperian Blvd and Dolittle Dr). Ideal first lines include Los Gatos to Milpitas via SJC Airport, Evergreen to Newark, Saratoga to Evergreen, Castro Valley to San Mateo, Milpitas to Stanford and Woodside via North Sunnyvale, East San Jose to Cupertino, and East Hayward to Alameda via Eastmont and Lake Chabot. The light metro lines would have 90 second headways. They would be smaller than BART stations, no interlining, 3 or 5 car trains, no parking spaces and would look identical to the Milan Metro M5 line. The idea of taking away the 'aesthetic' features is to bring the cost down as low as possible without sacrificing safety.
- Add a new Passenger rail tunnel in the Sunol Grade for ACE and new BART (the letter lines).
- Reintroduce regional rail service on the Iron Horse trail along 680 as a tunnel (similar to RER). Suburbanites can whine all they want but they have to grow up, the world doesn't revolve around them. The line can run from Redwood City and San Jose to Martinez.
- Integrate Valley Link into ACE, which itself would become a joint venture between new BART and San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission.
- Cancel the widening of I-80 in Vallejo (there are plans to add new toll lanes). Instead, extend the red line to Napa as eBART. Also, delay all express lane projects until viable alternatives can be provided (including bike paths).
- Introduce ACE service from Merced to Martinez on a new rail corridor. Amtrak San Joaquins would also run up to Brentwood.
- Extend the Yellow Line of eBART to Brentwood or Discovery Bay.
- Extend the Orange Line to San Rafael as eBART.
- Force Union Pacific and BNSF to nationalise their rail lines (at state level at least) or they lose funding.
- Add laser detectors to fare gates that will automatically alert security or police if someone is evading their fare. Minimum fine would be $700.
To accomplish #1-13 would require staging a coup or engaging in local elections more.

Full Top 50 Albums + Top 200ish Songs Spotify Playlist How the chart works: These charts are created based on how frequently each album appears in the top 10 albums for all of the users signed up for the chart. If the album occupies that user's #1 spot in their individual chart, it receives 15 points, then 14 points for #2, so on and so forth until 6 points for #10. If there is a tie, which is a common occurrence, then the number of points is averaged across those positions, e.g. if two albums are tied for #1, both will receive 14.5 points. Oftentimes there will be multiple albums tied for the last place, in which case the number of points each song receives decreases until it bottoms out at 1 point each.

2023.05.29 19:38 SingularityPotato Trying to find a mother board that will fit my system
Note: all prices talked about are in CND.
A few months ago, I upgraded my main rig to a used mobo, cpu, ram for $300
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/mmgh4s I then moved my old system
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/jcTDDq to a new cases to use as a server, which worked fine for a month or so. However now I'm running into problems with system instability when plex or Jellyfin are transcoding there is a random chance that the whole server locks up (sometimes its multiple times a day others it can take weeks). (All web UI's become completely unresponsive and the system doesn't even kernel panic and you have to do a physical hard rest to get it working again). After much looking online, I have found that this can be like 10 different things, largely most of the test are "rebuy said individual parts, put them in one at a time and see if it fixes it", so I'm just looking at replacing my whole system (not that I want to).
Currently ryzen (Zen4) chips are looking pretty cheap with a 5600 going for $160. One of the issues I'm running into is the ass backward way ryzen has their PCIE lanes divied up. I'm used to intel, where multiple PCIE slots may be wired up for x16 or x8 even though the intel CPU's don't support all of the wired lanes and lanes are split up with a multiplexer for best support. This is great as I want at least a 2x8 PCIE slot.
However, upon looking up AM4 boards AMD doesn't do this. Not only do they reserve lines for stuff like M.2 (which if I don't plan on using are just going to waste). But from what I can see board manufacturer love to attempt to misrepresent their mobo's by saying 2/3x16 PCIe slots, until you read the fine print that its actually wired as 1x16 and 2x1 and its just the slot size that is x16. Not even 2x8.
TLDR: Due to marketing AM4 motherboard are so hard to find one that has a deaccent wired PCIe layout.
I'm currently looking for a
mATX AM4 motherboard that has the PCIe lanes wired as at least 2x8 (I have a GPU so not right next to each other), but would like more than just the 2 slots. Ideally, undearound $150 CND.
NOTE: PC Parts Picker only shows the size of the mobo slots, not what they are wired for.
Edit: why on earth is it so bloody hard to find a AM4 mobo with PCIE slots wired for at least 2x8, 1x4.

2023.05.29 18:30 TheRadPonseti RADIO BAM EPISODE #116 “BUDDY BILL SHOVES WEED UP HIS ASS / GINA LYNN’S PANTIES GET STOLEN”
4/16/07
Radio Bam episode #116 Bam Margera – Brandon “Dico” Dicamillo – Buddy Bill – Mark ‘Fannah’ Hannah – Murray – Missy Margera - Linden 'Black Aquaman'
- Dico loves Fannah in the new movie MingHags. He borrowed a pair of Dico’s underwear so he could film a few scenes. The scenes he filmed were soo good that Dico requested the underwear back so he could add it to his movie collection.
- Bam has been telling everyone he knows about the movie; he’s been showing clips to everyone too.
- ‘Who would you rather’ questions with Fannah, involving his two brothers. “Which brother would you rather a horse fuck soo hard they die?”
- Linden ‘Black Aquaman’ has entered the studio dressed as a white man with his face painted white.
- “Compton Ass Terry is selling out Black People”, a claim made by Chad I Ginsberg after Bam says he wants Terry in the new movie. “All black people kinda do!” Bam responds.
- Chad goes further to say that he smoked Terry out a few times before too. “He’s not special just because he’s the black guy on bunch of white people’s bus!”
- Bam randomly says the N-Word quoting a random black guy he has heard while skating. “Damn N***a I got some hard motha fuckin boogies!”. - Chad wants a picture of Lindon in ‘WhiteFace’.
-
“Steak! It’s what’s for Dinner!” Dico’s steak commercial. - Bam plays audio of a scene from MingHags that he’s currently working on involving his grandfather ‘Pop-Pop' and Jimmy Pop’s retarded friend Mark the Bagger.
- Dico felt odd screaming in Marks the Baggers face because he would just blankly stare through Dico like he had no inner thoughts going on.
- The guys explain who Mark the Baggers is and how Jimmy Pop ran into him while he bagged groceries at a grocery store. Jimmy Pop eventually got him on The Stern show.
- Sidenote: In an old episode of this show, not knowing Bam would be working with Mark the Bagger in the future, Bam discloses that while working at the grocery store, Mark was caught luring a child into the back and having the child perform oral sex on him. There were no charges filed because, “He’s Retarded”.
- Bam plays more audio involving the Bagger and Pop-Pop. “Daddy Noooooo!”
- Bam and Dico reflect on how thankful they are deciding to film this movie themselves instead of getting Corporate Backing from Hollywood (Though they tried in the previous episode and failed).
- Instead Bam uses some of his rich connections to get private funding on top of the tens of thousands Bam’s already going to be paying to make this film.
- Bam’s release date goal is four months from now in time for kids going back to school in fall.
DEADZY – CARRYING OVER - Bam plays another audio clip from the movie MingHags.
- Bam and Missy left the bar the other night with Buddy Bill to take him back to their house so he can pick his truck up.
- Police notice Buddy Bill getting into Bams car and pull them over. They immediately get Buddy Bill out and arrest him without even checking if Missy or Bam were drunk or not.
- Buddy Bill has another boxing match happening this Friday. He gets really excited when he starts talking about it and starts getting amped up in studio, soo much that he starts squeezing Chad’s cheese steak he had lying on the console.
- Linden and Buddy Bill got into a small scuffle the other day resulting in Buddy Bill’s nose getting broke again. “He’s cheesing my Squeeze-Steak!”
- Buddy Bill stories that have been said here before.
- Bam starts questioning Buddy Bill about a crazy lingerie party from 2 years ago that he went to with Rake Yohn. Buddy Bill is hesitant about saying what exactly happened live on air.
THE SOUNDS – TRACK 2 - 80’s vice vaper wave intro
- The guys play HD female moans and sucking sounds, which turns Bill on as he starts looking around the studio to see which girl made those noises. “I’m a very emotional person!”
- Dico starts handing out small snacks that he's brought from home, Bam doesn’t normally eat at home due to his Bulimia.
- “Let me guess: some sort of experiment?” “Spearmint? I’d rather have Wintergreen!”
- Hanna’s Hilarious Laugh from the first film Haggard is played.
- Gina Lynn, the porn star featured in Bam’s new film, brought a whole bunch of her sex toys and porn she’s featured in. Bam likes to scatter them around the castle for fun along with the tranny pornos he’s gotten from his Hustler interview.
- Gina Lynn and her husband Chad have open and graphic conversations about their sex lives and personal lives including domestic violence resulting in hospitalizations.
BLOODHOUND GANG - ????
- While shooting Johnny Knoxville’s cover for the rolling stone, Dico and Bam were cornered by ‘some faggot’ promoting an internet soap opera, he even demanded they take some of his autographed posters.
- The guys promptly threw the posters in the thrash can closest to the front door so the guy could see it in the way out.
- Bill gets amped about the fight and squeezes Chad’s Cheese steak again. - ShitGoose was overheard by Buddy Bill telling Bam’s Mom April that Bam was snorting too much Adderall and drinking too much.
- When confronted by Bam, ShitGoose denies these allegations, but once Buddy Bill heard his denials, he tells ShitGoose he overheard the conversation between him and April.
- ShitGoose begins to cry and confess stating that he was just worried about Bam’s drug and alcohol consumption.
- Later that night though, after mixing alcohol and Klonopin, ShitGoose was seen rolling in hay and attempting to break dance.
- Seth Meisterman and his girlfriend Salina have some goats on Bam’s property. While ShitGoose was fucked up on Klonopin and alcohol, he let his large dog 'White Fang' loose and it ended up killing one of the baby goats.
- Chad believes the last episode of Radio Bam was too harsh on ShitGoose. “you gotta love the guy”.
- Gina Lynn was covered in stripper pole bruises and wore a skirt that was soo short that it was ‘above the ass line’ according to Missy. Her tits also kept gaming out during filming so Bam is considering making the movie rated R instead of PG-13
- Gina needed underwear because her pussy kept popping out as well (doesn’t wear underwear). So Missy let her use one of her sexy pair of boy shorts underwear, but after she returned them to Missy someone stole them.
- While filming for MingHags, Dico pissed in lindens drinks most of the evening and he had no idea.
- The guys discuss how they will be individually screening the movie at their houses once it is finished.
- “I have a nose problem!” buddy bills breakable nose and the drugs that have been through it to cause his brain aneurysm.
- After playing video games all night on cocaine with a lady, Buddy Bill went to the bathroom to piss, next thing he knew he was on the ground covered in piss and couldn’t see colors. Turns out he had a brain aneurysm.
- Linden starts instigating Buddy Bill to see if he can hit him in his nose again.
- Buddy Bill plugs his boxing match at the double tree hotel this Friday! He’s fighting a buddy he has a motorcross grudge against.
- Buddy Bill had heard awful things about this particular boxing organization if they don't get their fighter money back, or the ticket money back.
GNARKILL – GAY FAGS End of show

2023.05.29 18:18 AdMental3475 CVC 21453, Los Angeles
Hello, I got a red-light camera ticket in the city of Los Angeles on Victory Blvd and De Soto Ave back in January of this year. I didn't make the full turn but I went pretty far into the crosswalk and backed up once I realized. However, the recording stops before I back up. The picture also shows my face but the caticket is under my sister's name. I also want to note that I did look up the ticket on lametro.photonotice.com 2 weeks ago though to see the recording. :/
I'm supposed to go to court next week (June 7th), but I've heard you can ignore red light cameras in LA? Can anyone back this claim up or give me their experience/opinion? I've never received any type of ticket before and am really worried I will get fined/it gets on my record/insurance raises.
I'm waiting to hear back from a ticket lawyer but is it common for them to win if I utilize them? Like better chances than if I went myself/did written declaration?
Please and thank you so much in advance!

2023.05.29 17:05 RoughRoider Gainesville Housing Subleasing
Hi everyone. I'm a student at UF about to graduate, and I have to return home immediately after graduation. Despite this, my lease does not expire until July 31st, meaning I'd have to pay for rent for when I don't need the apartment. The place I'm offering to sublease has a spacious living room (330+sqft), a kitchen with a stove, fridge, filtered faucet, pantry, and microwave as well as tons of cabinets. A laundry room with both a washer and a dryer. The room in question for subleasing has a shared bathroom in the hallway, but the roommate who is supposed to use it is hardly ever present and has nothing inside the bathroom as is. Speaking of roommates, as stated one of them is not there most of the time, and when he is he keeps to his room. The other roommate does the same and is chill, he only cooks and then goes back to his room or leaves the apartment. The bedroom in question has a desk with chair, nightstand, cabinets, closet with two levels for hooks, and a twin bed, the room itself is 140+sqft. The apartment also has a balcony, and the complex has a pool, gym, pool table, ping pong table, dog park, and is right next to Butler Plaza, a shopping center. A bus stop is right in front of the complex as well. Moreover, it costs on $485 monthly, though with utilities it ends up being about 540, but still a great deal. The name of the place is Gainesville Blvd, formerly the Niche, my name is Amaury Quintero, and you can reach me at 786-804-3696. Please let me know ASAP and I can fill you in on any questions you have!

2023.05.29 13:21 TerriBabyGang OMG SO GROSS
Ugghhhhhh. That freak "Doctor" Bahls is OBSESSED with me. Like, all he does is think about me day and night.
I bet he's currently going through everything I post on Reddit in order to figure out how to get at me. And because I have this paranoid notion in my mind I'm going to pre-emptively do it to him.
What a weirdo. Telling lesbians to put dildos on their heads like unicorns? Like, EWW, penises are gross and lesbians HATE penetrative sex. Granted, I'm not a lesbian but I'm a woman who thinks penises are gross so all women also think that they're gross.
And I mean, it's not like his doctorate is real. Everyone knows that Sequoia University is an old-school degree mill. L. Ron Hubbard got his PhD in nuclear science there. And there is no such field as Sexingology.
His last four digits of his SSN is 0000 which is so lol funny because he's such a zero. His address is 624 Euclid Blvd. in Bubbling Brook, NJ. And did you ever see this lawn? It's mostly crabgrass! What a loser!
Lol I attract all the freaks and weirdos am I right or what?

2023.05.29 11:02 AdMental3475 Red light camera ticket?
Hello, I got a red-light camera ticket in the city of Los Angeles on Victory Blvd and De Soto Ave back in January of this year. I didn't make the full turn but I went pretty far into the crosswalk and backed up once I realized. However, the recording stops before I back up. The picture also shows my face but the caticket is under my sister's name.
I'm supposed to go to court next week, but I've heard you can ignore red light cameras in LA? Can anyone back this claim up or give me their experience/opinion? I've never received any type of ticket before and am really worried I will get fined/it gets on my record/insurance raises. Please and thank you so much in advance!
I also did look up the ticket on
lametro.photonotice.com though to see the recording. :/

2023.05.29 07:25 MelW14 Is Steinway really they bad?
I’ve read a bunch of threads on here about how bad/rough Steinway St is, specifically the area from 28th Ave to Astoria blvd. I’m looking at an apartment one block from that area on 38th street and I’m wondering if it’s a good idea in terms of safety and noise. Would you live there? Disclaimer regarding the noise concern: obviously standard city noise is to be expected, but I’m talking about loud music bumping till 2:00am every night type of noise. Would love to hear any feedback!
