2023.05.29 22:17 Reelox14 Official Festival of Legends prediction contest results Who is the Festival Legend?
Hi everyone!
50 days ago, just before the launch of Festival of Legends, we had a meta prediction contest here in the subreddit (read more
here). Around 325 entrants answered 23 different questions about the meta, and now I will reveal who has won the title "Festival Legend".
There have been a few buffs and one nerf (Rowdy Fan) and the way I ruled it this time is that any card that has been buffed will not be counted towards being the most impactful card, and any card that has been nerfed will automatically be counted as the most impactful card, along with the card with the most "In % of decks".
These are the correct answers:
Question | Hearthstone top vote | Correct answer(s) (vote % in parenthesis) |
#1 - Most played Death Knight card? | Death Growl (33%) | Arcanite Ripper (11.9%) |
#2 - Most played Demon Hunter card? | Glaivetar (33%) | Taste of Chaos (18.8%) |
#3 - Most played Druid card? | Groovy Cat (29.2%) | Groovy Cat (29.2%) |

#7 - Most played Priest card? | Love Everlasting (26%) | Power Word: Synchronize (4.9%) |
#8 - Most played Rogue card? | Breakdance (30%) | Mic Drop (8.2%) |
#9 - Most played Shaman card? | JIVE, INSECT (26.7%) | JIVE, INSECT (26.7%) |
#10 - Most played Warlock card? | Symphony of Sins (35%) | Felstring Harp (15.8%) |
#11 - Most played Warrior card? | Roaring Applause (35%) | Blackrock 'n' Roll (4.6%) |
#12 - Most played Neutral Legendary card? | E.T.C., Band Manager (48.6%) | E.T.C., Band Manager (48.6%) |
#13 - Most played Neutral Epic/Rare card? | Audio Amplifier (29.5%) | Audio Amplifier (29.5%) |
#14 - Most played Neutral Common card? | Instrument Tech (22%) | Rowdy Fan (19.1%), Ghost Writer (4%) |
#15 - Most played legendary card? | E.T.C., Band Manager (31.9%) | E.T.C., Band Manager (31.9%) |
#16 - Most overrated legendary card? - Card with the highest value in [share of votes in #15] - [in % of decks] | Bounce Around (ft. Garona) (21%) | E.T.C., Band Manager (7.6%) |
#17 - Most underrated legendary card? - Card with the lowest value in [share of votes in #15] - [in % of decks] | Pozzik, Audio Engineer (17%) | Photographer Fizzle (4%) |
#18 - The most played legendary song? | Symphony of Sins (30%) | Love Everlasting (12.5%) |

#23 - Most played legendary card in Wild? | E.T.C., Band Manager (22.2%) | E.T.C., Band Manager (22.2%) |
This means that the average Redditor (a.k.a Reddit hive mind) would get 8 points correct, which would yield a 23rd place! Well done
hearthstone.
So who did the best? Well there were five entrants who managed to get 10 points or above. But just outside the top 3 we find:
- u/Reelox14 - 10 p (tie breaker 6, 3) (oh look that's me!)
- u/Spinethrasher - 10 p (tie breaker (6, 4)
And the winners of the flair "Festival Roadie" are:
- u/RSunnyG - 10 p (tie breaker 7, 4)
- u/Monkeybreath85 - 10 p (tie breaker 8, 4)
Congrats to the both of you!
However... there was one redditor who just couldn't be beat this time. They crushed the competition with a total of 12 points! The winner of this edition of the contest, and the owner of the one and only "Festival Legend" flair is:
- u/subsume_ - 12 p
Big congrats to you! Hope that you wear your new flair with a sense of pride and accomplishment! Mods will add your new personal flair shortly.
If anyone is interested in their score, the full standings, as well as the list of all submissions can be found here:
Link to spreadsheet with all entries.
Thanks for participating to all of you, and let me know if you want any other data that I haven't provided.

2023.05.29 20:55 a7xdude1827 I am stumped and any help would be nice
I have John Deere Z225 and it cranks but for the love God it will not start. The engine that is on here is a Briggs and Stratton 18.5HP. I have used starter fluid and it starts for a few seconds then dies quickly. I have replaced the carb, all the fuel lines, fuel filter, spark plugs, cleaned gas tank, replaced solenoid (awhile back), checked solenoid turn off, changed oil and filter, got a new battery, and re-did the wiring for my battery due to a loose connection. I pretty much like to learn by doing so before I give up and take it in I figured I'd ask around Reddit. I was thinking possibly the starter but it isn't making that heavy whining sound indicating it needs replaced. If not maybe the solenoid? Anyways any help I would love

2023.05.29 19:22 Annemi Mid-range Gaming Laptop, USA, USD2000
So I'm looking to upgrade from my 5 year old Lenovo Legion. My first attempt was an Asus Zephyrus G14, but it made some kind of high-pitched whining as soon as I fired up a game. If that's coil whine I get what all the fuss is about. I couldn't stand it. So I'm back to square one on laptop research. Anyone have suggestions?
Budget: $2000 USD
Used/Refurb: Sure, either is fine.
Priorities: Build quality, battery life, then performance. I'm fine with 1080p gaming and stepping down graphics options for FPS.
Weight: Trying for 5.5 lbs or less, but it's not that important. So long as it's not a huge 17 in desktop replacement I'm fine.
Screen: 14 - 16 in is fine
Details: Need a good keyboard because this will be my primary machine. Would like a webcam and numpad. Don't need fingerprint reader or touchscreen.
Asus G15 Advantage looks like a good deal, but it doesn't have a webcam or numpad. Anyone know what the keyboard is like, or if this model is prone to coil whine? Is that price drop big enough that I should jump on this?

2023.05.29 19:21 EternalSugar Throttle control reversed?
Briggs and Stratton Quantum 6.0, mounted on a DR Power trimmer. Just replaced the head gasket and that went well, but at some point during reassembly, something got put in the wrong place. Maybe? It doesn't look any different at a glance.
With the throttle lever in a low position, the butterfly valve in the air intake is wide open. Push the lever forward and it closes fully, starving the engine and causing it to stall.
Pic A – Turtle/STOP, valve open
Pic B – Rabbit, valve closed
I cannot for the life of me figure out how this happened or how to fix it.

2023.05.29 16:55 A7laz TPK using Roll20 - Statistically it shouldn’t have happened.
I have been the forever DM for several years with this particular group. We recently finished our first Campaign in a homebrew world and are about 4 months (real world time) into our second campaign. They have just reached level 4 and decided to take a Hags offer to “play her game” for a possible boon at the end. I, thankfully, established prior to them entering the game that death within was not permanent, but that every death came with long lasting consequences. So here’s what happened.
They take a carrousel ride into a pocket plane and instantly are met with a fight. The Carrousel is a trap (but does not do damage) the enemies are 2 fighter (35hp each with 2 attacks per round and a plus 3 to hit) and a Wizard (30hp and spells up to level 3 and a spell DC13) I have seen this group of PC’s deal with significantly harder encounters and assumed this would be a quick fight for them. It is well established that death is a very real possibility in my world and they are all aware of this, but the dice gods were not on their side this day.
Round 1: Athletics check against being grappled by the carrousel’s mechanics DC12. The Druid rolls a 13 and escapes wild shaping into a bear. The fighter, sorcerer, cleric & artificer all fail and are restrained. Roll20 rolls do not improve for them and they do 0 damage and No one escapes through this round of combat. The enemy fighter roll nat 17-19 on all attacks against the group.
Round 2: still restrained by the Carrousel it quick spins the 4 PC’s requiring a Con-save DC10. The Artificer and Cleric fail and are stunned until the end of their next turns. The Fighter manages to break free of the carrousel with the only PC Roll above 7 for the round. The enemy wizard cast a homebrew version of entangle with an AOE effect as a 3rd level spell (20 foot area with a dex save DC13 and the area becomes difficult terrain. On a fail it does 3d8 damage, The Fighter, Druid and Artificer all fail and Roll20 rolled max damage (8+8+8=24) The 2 enemy fighters then took there attacks 1 crit and 3 rolls all 17 or higher + modifiers. By the end of round 2 the Druid, Artificer and Cleric were all down, the fighter was low HP and the sorcerer was still restrained.
Round 3 the Bad guys cleaned house killing the remaining player with relative ease including another Critical Hit on the Sorcerer
As stated above death was not permanent, but there are consequences. Every time they die the Hag gets a little more of them.
TLDR: In 3 rounds of combat using roll20: My 5 Player managed to roll above a 10 on the dice 5 times. The DM’s lowest rolls were two 15 with all other rolls being a 17+ which included 3 natural 20. Resulting in a TPK against what should have been a relatively simple combat encounter for 5 level 4 PCs

2023.05.29 14:09 archonmage2006 Hero concept #4 I made this one with my sister
John Doe
My sister helped me make this guy
Real name: unknown
Alias: Johnathan Doestim
Backstory: John Doe woke up in a hospital bed, without a name he chose the name Johnathan Doestim. Weeks later he began hearing voices. He thought he was going crazy when he saw himself appear as a blue shade in front of him, but it wasn’t him, this John was much better kept, he was wearing a suit. When asked he spoke how if John Doe calms down there might be others that come along. John Doe screamed as a ghost had just spoken to him and the ghost disappeared. A couple of days later at his office job, he heard a voice telling him he had just missed a paper he was supposed to give to his boss in the stack he was carrying. He started to get along with the voices until a villain attacked, he ducked behind a corner and began focussing on a new voice screaming in his head. The man who emerged was not dressed as a doctor or a lawyer, he was dressed in light knight armor. Wielding a sword he fought back the villain attacking, now revealing them to be a ninja. After the battle, John Doe finally gave in and focussed on letting out the voices in his head, there were Doctors, Master swordsmen, Lawyers, but he was just an office worker and everyone else noticed too, they asked why he was the one to be their anchor to the world. With mysteries to uncover and some powers to explore the man with other versions of himself in his head went off to learn from them.

Notes: Our reality didn’t have a person who we would know as John Doe, but this John Doe and his shades were transported here because they were standing at the epicenter of the destruction of Freedom Tower, as there was no Freedom Tower in any of their Universes. Along with that, main John Doe is the only one who was unsuccessful in life in comparison to his shades. If you include his shades, John Doe has been on every seat in the courtroom.
Meta Notes: My sister came to me with the idea to create a character who was a failure, but was the only thing tethering his other much more successful versions to this world. With some work we come to a deck with very situational cards that can be played “accidentally” with a forced top of deck play.
Gameplay vision: This deck relies on 2 things:
- The shades that keep the main John Doe safe and deal damage.
- The main power forces you to play the top card of your deck which can sometimes be detrimental by causing you to destroy your shades.

2023.05.29 10:45 Zekron_98 Optimal upgrade strategy for lvl45 hero requirement, 6th builder
Hi everyone, a quick post about the most efficient way to reach the 45 level requirement for BOB. Heroes' costs are pretty simple: you have a baseline and then you add 100.000 elixir to it per level (exceptions for level 6 and 11 of the machine). Starting at 900.000 for the battle machine and 2.500.000 for the battle copter, the optimal levels are 25 for the former and 20 for the latter (if you also want to maximize ability levels. We will see an alternative). This takes into account the higher strength of the machine compared to the utility of the copter, as the machine is more useful for the average player.
On to the numbers:
Battle machine:
- Lvl 1 900k 12 h
- Lvl 2 1M 12 h
- Lvl 3 1.1 M 12 h
- Lvl 4 1.2 M 1 d
- Lvl 5 1.3 M 1 d
- Lvl 6 1.5 M 1 d 12 h
- Lvl 7 1.6 M 1d 12 h
- Lvl 8 1.7 M 2 d
- Lvl 9 1.8 M 2 d
- Lvl 10 1.9 M 2 d 12 h
- Lvl 11 2.1 M 2 d 12 h
- Lvl 12 2.2 M 3 d
- Lvl 13 2.3 M 3 d
- Lvl 14 2.4 M 3 d 12 h
- Lvl 15 2.5 M 3 d 12 h
- Lvl 16 2.6 M 4 d
- Lvl 17 2.7 M 4 d
- Lvl 18 2.8 M 4 d
- Lvl 19 2.9 M 4 d
- Lvl 20 3 M 5 d
- Lvl 21 3.1 M 5 d
- Lvl 22 3.2 M 5 d
- Lvl 23 3.3 M 5 d
- Lvl 24 3.4 M 5 d
- Lvl 25 3.5 M 5 d
Battle copter:
- Lvl 16 2.6 M 5 d
- Lvl 17 2.7 M 5 d
- Lvl 18 2.8 M 5 d
- Lvl 19 2.9 M 5 d
- Lvl 20 3 M 5 d
As you can see, since the upgrade times stabilize at higher levels, it's preferable to upgrade the battle machine since it's easier to use and more effective HP/DMG wise. Don't underestimate the copter though, it's super useful but it's hard to utilize properly.
If you disregard the abilities because you want to trash BB once you have BOB, you can upgrade the copter to 22 and the battle machine to 23 instead. This saves a bit more time because you can upgrade both at once (copter is still 5 days per level between 20 and 25).
While the BM has a little more elixir cost, its superior firepower easily compensates IMHO.
Final note: these times and costs do not take into account any boost. Between clock tower and gold pass, you can decrease them by a significant amount. It's also not worth to max before next BH level: rushing is still the best way to progress. More and stronger defenses mean easier matchups which result in more loot at all levels.

2023.05.29 10:18 paristeta Getting you first (few) Fireclaw Webbing as a New Player to upgrade to better gear.
Since a lot of newer player seems to have trouble getting Fireclaw Sac Webbings or spend 7 hours farming for 17 of it, i made this little guide, how to get the first or two of them, to upgrade gear, which makes the whole ordeal easier and faster.
I favored reliablity over speed here.
So using my Iriv´s Downfall with alll Elite Critical Coils... So using Blue Gear only, same goes for the coils and weaves in normal mode. I also did not used the Elite Ropecaster, because it´s not Blue, but would make it all a lot easier. Skill mainly used here was Stealth Ranged+ which is Level 4, the max level, getting 2 from the Skill Tree and 1 on the Armor, and 1 on the Weave. We also use sustained burst weapon technique.
The Video shows the the gear at the end. The videos are also not clean execution and include the mistakes so we all can learn from them and know how to deal with them (especially the Apex Fireclaw Heart Video).
Sac Webbing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZW9p2O4lAo Tactic is to use Stealth, so Stealth Ranged+ is active (and the Stealth Coils) shooting the shoulder Sacs, which have low Health too, while also hitting the Fireclaw when it´s unaware of Aloy, enjoying that free hit. This will reduce the threat of the fireclaw a lot, specially when we want to gain distance for some reason.
Further we exploit the Shock Canister on the regular variant and use the shock state to Buildup Frost, and using drill spike for Knockdown and some damage and a blue bolt blaster for the rest.
You can supplement with gear you have, and it should be mostly interchangeable at that level, you maybe need something to do twice, for example, i use the Strilethrough Arrows because on Blues, those are the highest damage (They DO destroy sac webbings).
If you just want the circulator, you can make it yourself really easy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFIjGVyFzzU And if you need an Apex Heart we have this video with full of wrongs...and it still worked:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niYT6Qar-uY Now YOU are also able to get Fireclaw Sac Webbing at a rate 1 per 5 minute instead of 1 per 25 Minutes...but seriously, use it to upgrade meaningful gear..and get the elite ropecaster from Thornmarsh...and upgrading it does not even require Fireclaw stuff.
For those who play on Hard or Very Hard:
In general, those tactics work too, but health and tear limits will be higher (33%/82%). So it will take longer, because you wont 1-shot components and need more Arrows to freeze. If you want to compensate for damage, i did not use Low Health Ranged in my videos above, but having it at Level 4 gives +80% Impact damage, and the two levels you can easily get from food in Barren Light, just put aloy into critical health first, before traveling to the hunting spot...and don´t get hit.

2023.05.29 05:51 lpinformation3125 Electric Pressure Washer Market is expected to reach USD 3626.2 Million by the end of 2029: Cognitive Market Research
Electric Pressure Washer is an electric power washer that is a high-pressure mechanical sprayer used to remove loose paint, mold, grime, dust, mud, and dirt from surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and concrete surfaces. The volume of a pressure washer is expressed in gallons or liters per minute, often designed into the pump and not variable. The pressure, expressed in pounds per square inch, pascals, or bar (deprecated but in common usage), is designed into the pump but can be varied by adjusting the unloader valve.
A typical electric pressure washer has electrical powered motor that powers a water pump. The pump accelerates the water, supplied from a garden hose, to produce high pressure. The washer is hooked to a high pressure-rated hose. At the end of the hose is a water gun that looks similar to the pressure guns used at car washes. When the trigger is pulled, the water mixes with the air and comes out of the nozzle.

2023.05.29 05:22 ChubbieBehemoth Need help with identifying
| Hey Lawnmower Reddit. I need some help. So long story short. I don't have any spark at all with my Zero turn mower. It's an MTD model: 17AC2ACG004. It has a Briggs and Stratton motor on it, but I CAN NOT find the model of it, only the family and I'm not sure the difference frankly. It's 19HP. I have plenty of pictures I'm sure someone can help me here. I'll include everything in some snapshots I got. I just need a cheap replacement Ignition Coil that'll work for this motor so I can mow my yard again. Thanks a million. submitted by ChubbieBehemoth to lawnmowers [link] [comments] |
2023.05.29 03:43 mrjoecolombo Can’t keep it going…
| Can’t get this one to run… Here’s what I’ve done: •Drained fuel tank and added fresh gas •Checked / cleaned spark plug •Installed a new carb It will start if I spray carb cleaner directly into the carb, but only for 3 seconds… I’m at my wits end. Any advice?? submitted by mrjoecolombo to lawnmowers [link] [comments] |

2023.05.28 23:58 Maggot384 Carb bowl gasket keeps dying
My lawn mower used the same gasket for 10 years and decided to die one year. So i replaced it with a brand new briggs stratton branded gasket that was for my model and it fit nicely. Couple months later and the carb started leaking gas. Come to find out that the new gasket was stretched and was properly seating anymore. Bought a new gasket again that was the same model and same official B&S part. Fit nicely in the bowl and after 2 uses it too stretched out. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
