The show is scheduled to begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. CT and ballpark gates will open around 5 p.m. CT. Please take a moment to review the following event guide to help you prepare for the upcoming show. Getting to Wrigley Field (1060 W. Addison St. Chicago, IL 60613) Please give yourself plenty of time to travel to and from Wrigley Field. We encourage the use of public transportation including Metra trains and Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) buses and trains. The CTA Red Line stops one block from Wrigley Field at the Addison station. Visit Cubs.com/Transportation for detailed information on transit options from across Chicago. Free remote parking will be offered at 3900 N. Rockwell St., located approximately 2.5 miles from the ballpark. This lot includes free shuttle service to and from Wrigley Field. Services begin approximately two hours prior to the start of the show and returning shuttles run approximately one hour after the end of the show. Free bicycle valet service also will be available in the alley just east of the main entrance for the CTA Red Line stop on Addison Street. Limited parking will be available for cashless purchase beginning at 3 p.m. CT on the day of the show in our Toyota Camry Lot (1126 W. Grace St. Chicago, IL 60613) and Irving Park Lot (1052 W. Irving Park Rd. Chicago, IL 60613) on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment for parking includes a credit card, debit card or mobile wallet. No cash will be accepted. Tailgating is not permitted. I (26f) recently discovered through my 6 year old son that he had met his father's(40m) girlfriend a few days ago. We had an agreement that we would wait 6 months before introducing our child to anyone we were seeing, and we'd give the other parent a heads up. Not asking permission, just a quick "hey, I'm inviting so and so to this with our son" or whatever.
Background: I discovered he had been cheating on me throughout our entire 6 year relationship last march. After discovering photographic and video evidence, he tried denying it and then blaming me for "forcing him to cheat". We tried to keep it together through the summer, then he kicked me and our son out in the fall and I was forced to live an hour and a half away with my parents. We made the initial agreement back then, because I was seeing somebody new by that time. He tried adding the stipulation that he was to meet this person before he was around our son, to which I refused to agree to. I am still seeing this person and out of respect for his father I have not yet introduced the two, though it is something I've discussed with this person.
In the time we've been separated, my sons father has gone back and forth between going around telling people I'm keeping his child from him, then leaving me on read when I ask if he'd like to spend time with his son. We worked out him having our son overnight 2 days a week, and I've given him multiple opportunities (on his schedule, not mine) to have him extra nights, which he has refused every time. He has asked me multiple times to get our son early from his house on days he has him, or asked to skip nights altogether, all of which I have obliged. All the while continuing to tell people I am keeping his son from him and smearing my name.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when a car was parked in his dad's driveway nearly constantly. I would bring him to his father's house to get him on and off the bus each morning, and my son indicated that he was nervous that someone was there and hoped the person wasn't still there when he got home (on a night his father was to get him off the bus and have him overnight). He asked me if he could just come home with me instead that night, and I told him no, and assured him everything was okay. Texted his father and asked him to talk about it with our son, which he did. Then without warning he brings our son to a baseball game with this woman a few days ago, and my son tells me everything the next day when we were heading home.
The reason I am hesitant to allow him to go back to his father stems from a couple other instances, not just this. He took him out of state for 4 days around Christmas to visit family which I was fine with, however when he returned home my son was wearing the same socks I put him in, he says he didn't take a bath the entire time he was there, nor did he take his twice daily medication. He also does not give him a bath or shower on the two nights a week he has him, nor brush his hair which leaves me to untangle the knots every time he comes back home with me. There have been instances where I've picked him up at 4 and 5 pm and he's told me his father didn't give him any lunch and he was hungry. Other times he has left our son alone in his house to go to work, which is only about a block from his house, but still. My son believes it was less than an hour he was gone but this happened twice. And now he is bringing strangers around our son with no warning to him or myself.
I believe that he should be focusing all his attention on his son on the two nights a week he has him, as I do for the other 5 nights a week. I do not have friends over when my son is home with me. We go on outings and have playdates with his friends on the weekends, or visit my parents, but the focus has always been on my son. So, not only has my sons father broken my trust and gone against our agreement which was set in place mainly because he was insecure, but I feel as though he should make his child his top priority and has created a pattern that proves he simply has not.
We have family court at the end of the month to set in stone a custody agreement and establish child support, which I should mention that he has not given me a single penny since he kicked us out and makes almost 3x what I do. Really my plan is to have full custody of my son until then, hopefully meet with a mediator and figure out a way to move forward. I'm not upset that he has a girlfriend or that she met our son, I'm upset he continues to lie to me and go against agreements we've made regarding our sons wellbeing. I'm upset that he neglects him when he is there, he's unable to give our son undivided attention, and his house is an absolute pigsty all the time.

my friend and I were looking for bus from NYC/Boston to umass. I was looking at peter pan initially but the schedules were either too late or too early and came across ourbus.
Does anyone have experience with ourbus from NYC/Boston to UMass? Is it better or worse than peterpan?

I did Ironman 70.3 Victoria last month (my first tri!) I wanted to give a few tips re: logistics that I didn’t see elsewhere on reddit or on the race website. This is mostly for my fellow Americans.
Getting there:
· There are 3 Vancouvers: Vancouver, WA, Vancouver BC, and Vancouver Island. Vancouver, WA is very far away - it’s on the WA/OR border. Victoria BC is on Vancouver Island. Vancouver BC is not. Generally, you have to take a ferry to get to Vancouver Island from the US or Canada mainland.
· The “travel tips” video on the race website tells you to take the Victoria Clipper ferry from downtown Seattle. It does not tell you the Clipper is a pedestrian-only ferry (bikes OK, but no cars.) You will need a car for the race – see “Race Site” section, below. If you plan to walk-on to the Clipper and rent a car in Victoria, I recommend planning this a few months in advance. UbeLyft is not available in Victoria. Clipper tickets are $100+ and sell out very quickly in the summer.
· There is a car ferry to Victoria from Port Angeles, WA (Blackball/Coho ferry). There are currently only 3 boats per day; 8am, 12:45pm and 5:15pm. It costs about $80 each way. You’re charged a nominal fee (about $12) when making the reservation, then pay the rest when you arrive at the ferry dock. You are required to be at the dock a minimum of 60 minutes before the boat’s departure time (unless you are a walk-on). 60 min before departure, they start letting the standby cars on. 25 spots are reserved for standby cars (first come first served); then they start giving away spots of those who had reservations but have not yet arrived.
· Prior to all of this, in order to get from Seattle to Port Angeles, you need to take a WA state ferry from downtown Seattle across Puget Sound. There are several cities you can take the ferry to, namely: Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, and Kingston. When selecting a ferry and buying tickets, note that some of these boats may be pedestrian-only, so pay attention.
· Furthermore, WA state ferries are named after other cities in WA that they are not sailing to. For example: the ferries from Seattle to Bainbridge Island are called the “Wenatchee” and the “Tacoma”; the ferry to Bremerton is the “Walla Walla.”
· The WA State ferries are typically running 30-40 min behind schedule, but the website lists the precise timeframes of delays.
· Alternatively, you can (and should) drive around Puget Sound. Because you have to drive south to go north, this can take 2.5+ hours.
· I bought my Blackball/Coho ticket a month before the race. Only the Friday 8am boat had available tickets at that point. I arrived 20 (not 60) minutes before departure. Cars had started lining up to get in the standby line at 6:30am. I couldn’t get on the 8am or 12:45 boat. I barely got onto 5:15pm.
· Returning home, passengers are required to be at the ferry dock in Victoria BC 90 minutes prior to departure. If you stay in a hotel on the inner harbodowntown, it’s at least very close by.
The Race Site:
· The race site is located about 7 miles from the inner harbodowntown Victoria (which is where any/all ferries will let you off). The only realistic way to get to the race site from the inner harbor (especially at 4:30am) is to drive.
· There aren’t many hotels near the race site. You may be able to find a motel or an Airbnb, but it will still be 2-4 miles from the race site. There are exactly two houses at the race site. One of those homeowners owns a ton of acres behind his house, and sells parking spots for $100. You would have enteexit privileges all weekend. I think he can accommodate 100+ cars.
· The other house, next door, appeared to be rented out by a team.
· The only source for drinking water (for spectators) that I could find at the race site was a single water fountain near the swim start. There was also a single food truck (Greek) that was selling bottled water, but I imagine supply becomes limited.
Check-in & Race Day – Site Logistics:
· Bring water and a lunch to check-in. See notes above re: water availability.
· Ironman water bottles sold out almost immediately.
· Spectators must be able-bodied, and ideally, physically fit. A lot of walking is required, as several gates/barriers are set up all around the course. I saw some younger people hopping the gates and bushwhacking to get from point to point (e.g. from the swim start to the swim finish). Otherwise there’s lots of walking through a maze.
· The 3 parking lots are each about 2 miles from the race site. There are school bus shuttles, which require some waiting.
· Porta-potties are abundant for athletes and spectators (separate).
· The park has a new bathroom that was built this year, however, at race check-in the sinks were already completely clogged with sand from swimmers. I imagine race day was worse. Public swimming still occurs during check-in and on race day (mostly families of athletes). The public swim area is roped/buoyed off.
· Spectators should bring lunch/snacks, lots of water, clothing layers (a packable down jacket is ideal), and something to sit on. If you care about your spectator, you should prep these things for them in advance. They will be spending 5-8 hours at the park, waiting for you. If they aren't triathletes or into socializing with them, they should bring a book. Families with young children and/or dogs swam and and played on the playground (near the swimming area) all day. This probably sounds like a nightmare to most Americans, but I noticed during my whole trip that Canadian children seem more precocious and well-behaved, and the dogs more mellow. It seemed to rub off on the Americans kids and dogs, respectively.
· Check in is very time-consuming unless you are a seasoned triathlete and/or have a partnespectator who is.
· You absolutely cannot leave your car unattended while you check-in your bike. If you are alone (i.e., don’t have another driver in your car), you have to give the race officials your bike, go park your car in the lot 2 miles away, shuttle back (which involves lots of waiting), check-in, get your timing chip, bib, and wristband, go thru the expo (it's thankfully small), bring your bike to the transition, and set up your transition area. A pre-race briefing is required (offered about every 1-2 hours). I also did a swim course recon.
· I also stayed for what was listed as a “swim clinic” (optional) - which turned out to be a lecture by Lance Watson with Life Sport Coaching. This was incredibly useful and single handedly calmed all of my nerves about swimming.
The race itself
· All 3 legs of the course are beautiful.
· The run isn’t flat. There are a few little hills. There are also some significant tree roots. I tripped a few times, and saw one older athlete take a tumble.
· I wore normal race-day running shoes. One guy ran it barefoot. I'm not sure how.
· There is lots of course support for all 3 legs. I was surprised (and comforted) by how many support vehicles were on the bike course.
Anyway, I hope this helps someone who plans to do the race in the future! Thank you for coming to my TED talk;)

I'm trying to register for BUS 010 and I don't have any options for waitlist. It's telling me that all the seats are full and to refer to the schedule of classes for more information, but none of the classes look full. Will a waitlist ever open up or am I fucked?

I noticed bus drivers have a knack of driving faster at night. These drivers have a habit of dashing on the straights and jam brake at approaching bus stops, and at times with standing passengers tripping, or seated passengers slamming against the back of the seats from that sudden inertia.
And as our roads are getting less maintained and very bumpy, I can't help but being concerned about road and passenger safety.
I understand that bus drivers have a schedule to meet but it shouldn't be that bad at off peak hours at night right? Sometimes they would dash through the journey but still had to stop a few mins at random bus stops, possibly to manage their time. Then why speed at the first place?
On the bus, these speeds can actually be quite scary, especially on empty or light loaded buses. Outside the bus, because of the speed they are going, I often miss flagging for the bus, especially at bus stops where vision of incoming buses are obscured by trees of concrete structures.
I'm not sure if driver fatigue is a factor. Theoretically, if they drove according to planned schedules, they shouldn't be burnt out at all. Right?
That said, I respect the work and effort of these drivers. Their job certainly ain't no easy feat. But I feel there should be a conversation between the bus operators, drivers, and passengers to better improve public bus experience and passenger safety, while better addressing drivers' needs as well.

So I've been at my current job for 2 years and 6 months. I hate it. I'm a school district mechanic.
My boss is lazy. He worked 121 of the 260 days we're scheduled. Higher management doesn't care he's never here since we get the work done without him or they don't know. I'm forced to drive a crappy long school bus route every single day during school that I've driven the entirety of my employment because they're working om finding a driver. They've filled every other route but I'm the only idiot apparently.
I basically come home miserable everyday and my wife is mad at me for it. I love what I do but no other school districts are hiring for my position. Do I suck it up and continue on or do I just find a nrw job field to go in? Thoughts?

I take the bus everyday and the amount of times people do this confuses me. The buses are loud (so saying you didn’t know it was behind you doesn’t count lol) and faster than a bike so I don’t know how people think it is a good idea to just keep biking right in front of it and not just move to the side for a second and let it pass. A lot of times it slows the buses down, which is a bit of a pain considering a lot of people rely on the buses to be on schedule. This seems to only be an issue with the silo buses

Past few days have been really challenging. Bus 88 on the way to home, and it really tests your patience. have to wait atleast around 40 to 45 mins althought the bus is scheduled to arrive every 15 mins ... the bus never comes
Is there any app which shows more realistic timelines and if there is bus going to be f*cking coming

Me (F20) and my boyfriend (M25) have been together for little bit over a year. We are eachother’s first loves and the way this man makes me feel (how safe and loved and understood) is out of this world. I know most redditors say “he’s so amazing but” and list many reasons why their partner is in fact not “so amazing” but I do think he is a phenomenal person. Anyhow. Sometimes I feel like I want him more than he wants me, that i’m a burden as he’d rather spend time doing something else instead of me (hah).
We spend 2-3 days a week together and i initiate most of it, he doesn’t really take me on dates or plans things and that wouldn’t really bother me as i am not much of a dates/events person but I do want to feel like a priority, like I matter, like I’m not an afterthought. He doesn’t like texting (however at the beginning we texted non stop) and it’s very common for him to not respond for almost the entire day. We’ve talked about this before and now he calls me everyday (unless he forgets because he’s a pretty disorganized person, we also assume he has ADHD) on his way to work, so that I feel wanted and he doesn’t feel pressured to text as much. He doesn’t live in my city and I don’t have a license yet so he has to pick me up whenever we hang out at his place or go somewhere (he claims this doesn’t bother him at all and he actually enjoys him and I had decided to trust him on that) so it’s impossible for me to drive up to him by myself (but I have proposed I take a bus to get to him if that’s what it takes to see him and he declined) just to spend and hour together, however, I need more. I need for him to want to hang out with me without me having to ask, I’d love to be with him whenever I have the time, he’s not like that. For example: tomorrow I start work at 4 pm, he at 5pm and it would never cross his mind to ask me to hang out till then, he’d rather spend it alone/with his roomate/playing video games or whatever else. I understand he needs alone time (so do I, as I have many side hobbies) but the day after that is similar and then again: he won’t ask to hang out and if i offer he’ll probably say he can’t as he’s busy. He won’t look at my texts until he feels like it, making me feel extremely neglected. Rarely are the days we spend together full days with a sleepover, they’re maybe a few hours here and there if i’m lucky. He very rarely sees a chunk of free time and thinks of me, he doesn’t really look at our work schedules and sees which days both of us are free. He wants me to move in with him as that way we’ll be able to spend more time together but that’s not an option for me yet.
I have many mental health issues and am going to therapy (so working on it) so consequentially I (a lot of the time) can’t really differentiate between my problems with him being a reflection of my poor mental health and many issues or are they actually valid.
I have asked him before if he could take more time for me and plan things, he is making progress but I fear it’s not enough. He said he’s now afraid to tell me that he wants to spend time alone because then I’ll feel like he’s not attentive enough, even though that’s not true at all. I want him to have free time and time with friends, all I wish is for him to squeeze me in between that and not for me to feel like I’m forcing my own boyfriend to spend time with me. I am now at a point where I’m borderline afraid to even propose any time together because I cannot escape the feeling that he only does it to please me (he says that’s not true).
When we’re together his attention is all mine, he’s attentive and caring, touchy and complementary, we laugh and we cry together, he is an amazing listener and knows how to calm me down. When we’ve traveled together we had a great time, we work amazingly as a team, have fun etc. I feel no doubts when I’m actually with him in person but if I don’t see him for an extended period of time (let’s say a week) I start to doubt his feelings and care for me. He doesn’t respond to my texts for a whole day (and I send him maybe one two to texts, sometimes a meme, I wouldn’t say I’m overbearing at all), forgets to call, doesn’t look at his timetable and mine to plan something, he just goes living his life as if I didn’t exist. Sometimes I fear that if I don’t ask to see him, we won’t hang out for a month before he remembers he has a girlfriend.
Am I expecting too much of him or is he giving me too little?

I hate having to ask this.
I have been slowly integrating into a masjid community in a small town. Despite the size of the community it has become clear that there are two factions. One is from Syria. The other is, predominantly, from Pakistan. The former is working class (construction workers etc). The latter is upper middle class (doctors, lawyers etc).
I have been attending daily prayers at the masjid as much as possible. Because of my work schedule, the safest daily prayer for me to make it to is maghrib. I noticed that this is also the most reliable. Dhuhr and Asr are typically only attended by the upper middle class group and they sometimes don't show up to open up the masjid. At maghrib, it is always the working class group. I've gone a few times and it's been fine. Not much for conversation beyond the initial salaams but it's been fine.
Recently a brother has been very excited to see me. So I was excited! Yay for making community! After a few days of seeing him he asked me for some cash because he explained he doesn't have a car and he needs to take the bus.
Now this was a little suspicious for a few reasons. Not the least of which being that there is no nearby bus and he seemed very close with the other brothers there and each of them had cars. But a brother asked me for help so I gave him some cash. The next day, his wife was sick and he needed some money for her prescription. So I gave him some money. And now every time I see him he's so happy to see me and gives me a big hug. Then asks me for more money.
As I said, it's a small town. So facts were not hard to find without even trying. The first indicator something was wrong was when he arrived late one day. In his car. A car that has been there every night that I have been there. Then it came to my attention that he is not married, he had not lost his job (and has a pretty good job).
Whenever I to pray he and the other brothers all talk in presumably Arabic while glancing at me. Then he usually comes over and asks for more money. last night I refused. I told him I had no money. He began telling me the importance of helping fellow Muslims. Then the other brothers began to get mad and tell me if I really wanted to be a Muslim I need to not be selfish and help others out.
So I'm feeling like I got ripped off and these brothers are taking advantage of me. I have no alternative for another masjid. Do I just avoid times when they are there by themselves? Do I tell someone?

Hi all, Im not sure where to start but I am really struggling.
So pertinent back info, my ss (9) is diagnosed with ADHD, ODD and OCD and is on Concerta plus therapy 2x/week which has shown a bit of improvement but not much. A lot for a little kid right? He has always been a handful, and tbh I never looked forward to him coming to our (my house actually) for his scheduled visits. Dont get me wrong, I actually loved this child (and I think I still do), but he has caused so much chaos that Im honestly feeling traumatized by him. Like I am repulsed when I see a picture of him at this point because the feeling of anxiety in my stomach just overwhelms me. I know it sounds bad, I love him but I dont like him. From epic meltdowns, aggressive violence towards other children (especially his brother), lying, stealing, his crazy energy that he can't seem to satiate. There is literally always a disaster with him lurking around the corner because he CAN NOT control any impulse he gets. He has gotten suspended multiple times, gotten kicked off the bus etc.
Anyways the most recent thing that happened was that in the middle of the night while everyone was sleeping (around 4-5 am), he woke up searching for candy as we have put a ban on it since he literally will not eat anything but candy, and he is visibly affected by all the sugar. So he went nuts looking for it- I mean every crevice of the house. He went into the basement (where he is not allowed), went into my partners cabinet that had a child safety device on it that is IN THE CEILING (we have barstools that he dragged) and went through his things. Now please try not to judge me, I didnt even know we had these but he had some gummy edibles (legal in my state) in this cabinet and SS stole them. And he ate them with his brother. So obviously chaos ensued and we had to get them to the hospital. CPS was called, they did a surprise check at the house and deemed it safe and stable. That it was an accident, it wasnt wreckless as SS stole it from a cabinet that had a safety device on it. At the hospital, the stepkids mom was there and basically told us that SS is just out of control- that she has fingerprint locks on her bedroom because he is such a cleptomaniac, and he was still able to find the backup key for it that was in the most conspicuous place and she cant trust him. He found a lighter and tried to light the shower curtain on fire in her house. I found a SAW IN HIS BED that he took from the basement workshop. We (especially his dad) keep an eye on him every second of every day but he finds ways (middle of the night, figures out how to get through safety devices, etc.). (Also fyi I now have a fingerprint doorknob on the basement door so that he literally CANT get down there, the backup key is in my office at work so he has absolutely no access).
One of the problems besides this whole mess is that I really don't like this kid anymore (I love him and want whats best for him but if I never had to see him again not one tear would be shed by me and Id be relieved). I know not everything is his fault due to his neurodivergence and age, but I just am at my wits end with him. I am so afraid that he is such a liability at my house, and I have so much anxiety whenever he is around (so every other of my precious weekends) trying to keep him out of trouble or thinking of whats coming next. Also, some people in my family dont want him at their house anymore because they are afraid of him stealing dangerous things (he finds those the most interesting) and being responsible or held accountable for it. It doesnt help that SKs mom is very high conflict and wouldnt hesitate to ruin my life if she had the chance. I have plans to take these kids with my family and bf for an extremely expensive disney trip for my parents 50th, and I am so worried they are going to ruin it. On the other side of the coin, I feel so damn guilty because these kids and their dad ADORE me. I never let on to them how I am feeling, and I never will. I just dont know what to do. I want to stay with their father because I love him and he treats me like gold- he is very aware of how upsetting the situation is and he himself is grieving in a way the life he thought he would have had with his children. I have brought up to my SO that the next time there is a big issue with his kid, they cant be at my house anymore. And the thing is, I know that will most likely end our relationship or at the very least traumatize his children as they will think I dont love them anymore when they are very attached to me. help

Graduated from a three-year advanced programming diploma. Programming was all I ever wanted to do since I was eight years old. I think the quality of work reflects my passion.
Right out of school, got a sweet job at Google Maps. But it wasn't good for me mentally. Every Friday when I got off work, I'd take the bus with the worst schedule down to Finch Station in Toronto, down to Dundas, wait in the Greyhound for up to two hours, and take the bus for another two hours back to London just to be with my girlfriend and tight group of friends. So I was quickly looking for work in London. Applied to a job at a local ISP (yes that one), packed up all my things, moved back to London.
First day of work they hand me my contract and it's for $10k less then we had agreed. I said, "Didn't we agree on ...?" "Oh, well we'll reevaluate after three months." I was pissed. Livid. I had moved my entire life back to London on a salary that wasn't commensurate with my work. But, I actually did cut my teeth on that job. Sitting in that chair 8 hours a day brought me up to speed really quickly.
I even asked them, "Why did you hire me?" "You did the best on the programming test." ... k, so you hired me with what you thought was little experience so you could pay me less even though I do a better job. Okay.
I was the lead programmer for their best client's site. I can't tell you what site, but the work I did was impeccable, and I'm sure it's made him heaps of money over the years.
Welp. Three months came and I started looking for a new job. I applied to a random post looking for a programmer who had experience with nmap. Interviewed three times for that position. I was the one they wanted. I even made this config editor for IP tables rules that you could drag and drop the lines in different orders. They loved it. They called me and asked me if I could meet with their CEO at a cafe downtown less than a five minute walk from my work just before the end of the work day. I typed up my resignation letter that night, signed, sealed, burning a hole in my backpack. Took my last break the next day, walked down to the coffee shop, the CEO handed me an offer letter for $10k more than I was asking. Went back upstairs, went into my bag, walked into the CEO's office, plopped down the envelope and said, "This is my two-week notice."
Stunned. Stunned. It was so delicious to see that look on his face and I'll never forget it. It took him a good ten seconds to get the gears in his head turning again. He was so pissed he said, "Can you just leave today?"
I needed the money, but he didn't know that. I said to him: My project is almost done. Let's get on my project and finish it before I leave. He told me to go back to my seat, visibly upset. Calls me into his office right at the end of the day. "Here's what we're going to do: will finish up what he's doing over the next two days and join you and finish up.
That new job, I was there for three days when my boss comes over to me, says, "Come with me." Takes me into this ultra-secure room, and one of my co-workers had just hacked into a business and was playing around as Domain Admin. I'm like ... "WE'RE HACKERS?" lol. I had no idea. Spent seven years programming exploits and doing pen tests. Three years in I went to my boss and said, "I'd like to go back to school and get my degree." "Good. We'll put you on part time. You can work whenever you want. We'll change you to hourly at the same rate. Submit time sheets." Such a great place to work. I'll never forget it.
So I'm doing my new job for like 6 months when I get a message from my buddy from college: "Guess where I am." "Where?" Sends me a picture of my old chair at that work.
"Omg. Seriously? I quit there because they didn't pay me enough in a nefarious way."
Four months after that he sends me another message: Just quit. Pays too little.
Sometimes I lie in bed at night with a smug look on my face just imagining the steam coming from the CEO's ears when my buddy dropped that news.
I now make 4 times as much as I did with that ISP.

Hey all - one of the Groop leaders here. I’m going to be arriving Tuesday, which is a first, and aside from the programming RooBus has cooked up, will have a ton of downtime Tuesday and Wednesday. Was planning on bringing an acoustic guitar.
Any other musicians going to be camped in the Groop area? Would be cool if we had some other guitarists, vocalists, percussionists etc to get together and have a little low-key jam. I play all kinds of music, but was envisioning playing some easy songs we could all pick up pretty quickly - the eagles, the Beatles, etc.
