I’m mainly talking about weapon handling. Magazine changes, charging handles, bolt releases, bolt cycling, etc. To me they mostly sound cheap and plastic-like and it bugs me to death! Does anyone else feel this way?
There’s a collection of “beefy sounds” mods on thunderstore.io by someone called “Chargin” that replaced the vanilla sounds with much better ones, but an update to H3 sometime last year broke the mods and they haven’t been updated since. Do any of you know of any similar mods elsewhere on the interwebs? Or even better, is there a way I could contact Chargin and maybe commission them to update the mods?

I have the thunderstore mod manager and I’m able to download mods on it, but when I load into the game the mods are not there. Does anyone know a different mod manager or how to fix this?

playing with roundswithfriends and dependencies. mods are updated. when i run preloader fix 117 files fail to validate every time, even when i do it twice in a row. game launches normally vanilla.
when i try to play modded, it says running on steam, then instantly closes, without opening anything

Has anyone seen this new multiplayer mod? does it work? how does it work? im so confused.

I just found this mod on thunderstore mod manager and am now wondering if my eyes are truly seeing this, is this ACTUAL multiplayer? or is it just that someone is controlling a sosig again?
I also assume performance would be crap, did anyone try this mod already?

Upon browsing Thunderstore a bit, I realized that there aren’t any Mobile Suit Gundam Mods, so I decided to make a concept for one. I’d like to make this a mod but I lack the knowledge to do so.
Bio: The Earth Federation RX-77-2 Guncannon is a ranged survivor, effective at damage from long range with its twin cannons.
Selected in menu: ending notes of "Tobe, Gundam!" play as the Guncannon falls into frame, carrying the selected weapon.
Movement: Kinda Slow with higher jumps.
Height: A little taller than Loader.
Walking->Sprinting: The thrusters on the unit's back activate, allowing it to fly along the ground.
Initial Spawn: Guncannon flies in and lands from space.
Passive:
Deal more damage depending on how far you are from your target.
Primary(s):
(Default) DXBR-M-79a Beam Rifle:
Slow firing long range weapon with piercing damage and perfect accuracy. 10 shots before needing to recharge.
(Unlockable) YHI YF-MG100 100mm Machine Gun:
Low accuracy automatic rifle. Fair damage output with high fire rate.
This weapon is unlocked by killing a boss in less than 10 shots with the Beam Rifle.
Secondary(s):
(Default) 240mm Cannon Barrage:
Guncannon takes a stationary position and fires 3 volleys with the cannons on its back. launching explosive projectiles with high damage.
(Unlockable) Spray Missile Launcher:
Guncannon takes a stationary position, and fires 24 seeking missiles in front of itself.
This is unlocked by defeating a boss on Monsoon in a single cast from the 240mm Cannon Barrage ability.
(Unlockable) Rock-it Launcher:
Rip a chunk from the ground, and throw it in the direction you are facing.
Unlocked by finding a large interactable boulder hidden in a stage.
Utility(s):
Tackle:
Run forward and tackle the first enemy you hit, launching them helplessly into the air.
Vertical Boost:
Fly upwards with the thrusters on your back, negates fall damage.
Horizontal Boost:
Fly forwards and high speed for a few seconds, knocking enemies aside.
Evading Boost:
Functions like Commando’s Roll. If you bump into an enemy while using this, they will be knocked away.
Special: Mortar Barrage
Guncannon will fire a rain of shells from its back. more shots if many enemies are present.
Alternate Skins:
Guncannon A: (Obliterate yourself.)
Mass Production Type:( Land the finishing blow on Mithrix by tackling him.)

I downloaded mods using the thunderstore on the Northstar client and I don't know how to use them/see them in-game

Love valheim VR, just found out about thunderstore mod manager and it made modding valheim so much easier i love it, however none of the in store vr mods work, and i cant figure out where to put the vr mod folder to get it working, has anyone got vr working with thunderstore manager, or will i have to go back to manually installing every single mod into my valheim vr steam install

Hi all! I'm looking for a mod has the ability to add the squirrel totem back into Kaycee's Mod, like it is in Act 1. I use the Thunderstore Mod Manager, but I couldn't seem to find any that did it. Can anyone point me the right direction?

I use the r2modman mod manager which is pretty fantastic, but I can't figure out how to combine mods from Nexus and mods from Thunderstore if I'm using r2modman. Is it even possible?

Is it possible to launch a Valheim dedicated server modded through Thunderstore ?
I tried to install my mods with Thunderstore on my server but when I launch it "Modded" the BepInExPack console doesn't appear (although it does when I use Thunderstore with the client). I only see the classic console of the dedicated server.
Is there something to do on the Thunderstore so it works ?
