Small time invester in the UK here, over the last few weeks I've consolidated my various junk crypto to £2.7K BTC, £1.5K ETH plus a few hundred each in SOL & ADA, realisticly I'm running about even on what I've invested over the last 2 years. I've got a unexpected bill come up £4K do I sell BTC and ETH to cover it and buy if back over the next 4 months, or do I hold and pay interest on credit card?
I trust and know you will advise me correctly ...just kidding I know this is Reddit!

There's a skewed concept of feminism that some men in this sub hold on to. They narrow it down to women wanting and having their jobs, women heading households instead of men, women having it easy in life & dating coz of their gender, and opportunities in the workplace and other sectors being given to them. Another view is feminists are out to subjugate and dominate men, turn children and others against masculinity, and take over spaces meant for men.
I do admit though that toxic feminism exists and their concept of being a woman is distorted by misandry (hate for men). Going back to the basics and the beginning, feminism's true foundation is seeking equality for women with men in terms of access to opportunities (eg employment, education, career, finances) and human rights (right to not be 'owned', right to freedom, right to vote). This is the core of feminism.
Before feminism, women:

• Experienced Forced/early marriages: as soon as women got their periods, they were ripe for suitors. Due to birth difficulties brought about by immature female bodies, mother and child mortality was high.
• Not allowed contraceptives
• Not able of joining "dangerous careers" such as leadership roles, engineering, architecture, army, doctors, carpentry etc
• Got fired for being pregnant. Single mums and widows had to look for other sources of income such as prostitution, domestic worker, or wash lady to make ends meet
• Couldn't get an education
• Couldn't open bank accounts or have their own money.
• Legal abortions didn't exist.
• Not permitted to drive or own cars
• Not permitted to travel alone
• Not allowed to inherit, buy, or own land/businesses
• Did not vote
• Underwent Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
• Considered as property
• R*pe and assault against women were not criminalized or abolished. Perpetrators were let free or girls were made to marry their r*pst
• Had to seclude themselves during menstruation
• Couldn't participate in public sports like marathons, gymnastics, footballs, etc
• Couldnt divorce with ease since men were custodians and women were considered unintelligent

In short, all those privileges women have now such as dating, going to school, living alone, and traveling would have been non-existent. Even some of your mothers couldn't have raised you if it wasn't for the freedoms and rights obtained from progressive frameworks and policies on women's rights. Today, we owe women's freedoms to feminism and those who (both men and women) bravely stood up for gender equality and equity in the past.

Is anyone else surprised/exasperated at these 22-25 year old Engineers/IAS Officers/Doctors/Chartered Accountants glorifying every damn thing like they've discovered pencillin. Yes you studied well, yes you got a good job and are paid well. But you really have no domain expertise on relationships, depression, anxiety, social learning, or even navigating life. Not to mention their humble brag of "sharing" their pay, companies they've worked at, where they did their master's etc to "help others". How gullible do you think people are. I know this sounds like sour grapes, but I myself am a CA & CFA, I earn pretty well, but cannot for the love of god figure out why anyone would give a shit about how much I take home. I haven't done any social service by studying so much. I did it coz I wanted money, and once I got it I decided to stfu and spend it. End rant.

Background: I'll be a part of an organized tour and they have included the regulars in the package - Eiffel tower, Cruise on Seine, etc.
Now, my questions:

1. World War, French Revolution - places to visit and tours. Website via which I can book them.
2. Is the night bus recommended? If yes, please list websites/organisers via whom I should book.
3. Pubs where I can watch the Champions League final
4. Cafes/restaurants for some lovely authentic pasta and pizza. Also Gelato icecream.
5. Roland Garros/French Open stadium visit. I'll be going after the tournament so I guess visiting the complex/shop etc won't be a big issue.
6. Recommendations for cafes/restaurants for croissants, baguettes, macrons, and other French regulars which dont rip off tourists. A higher price is understandable, but not to rip off tourists.

So, I worked in Bangalore for 2.5 years before I had to move back to my hometown because of Covid. So not a native Bangalorean. Many of my friends went back to BLR recently after their offices opened up owing to hybrid work and return to office.
They have been saying so many things that are hard to believe because when I lived there it wasn’t like that. Yes, I have been reading news where auto drivers have been misbehaving with people and also, a lot of crimes happening these days.
A few of the things what my friends faced and told me:

1. They went to buy beer from a wine shop and mistakenly spoke in Hindi asking “ Yeh wali kitne ki hai “ & was told to leave since only Kannadiga’s were allowed.
   
2. They are staying in Koramangala 6th block, a good residential area. They received their 2 wheeler and was unwrapping it, putting the wrapper on the road so later they would throw it in the dustbin. People came and mocked them for the same. That they are polluting the area. The entire area, puts their garbage in that spot .They were actually putting it in a plastic bag and was later gonna throw it.
   
3. Bangalore is not safe anymore to go around late hours in the evening.
   

I just wonder whether these are for real coz I loved loved Bangalore when I used to be there and I will be moving back again soon. Am I over expecting it to be same as it was?
