Something seems off but here are the messages that have been sent so far, "Skyscanner was established in Edinburgh, UK in 2003 as a British online travel agency and meta-search engine company. The business hours of the company's workbench are from 11:00 to 23:00 every day. During this period, it only takes less than 1 hour to complete the work. Work is remote and all you need is a laptop or smartphone to work online." "You need to log in to the workbench every day and use real data to optimize the review data refresh of the hotel, so that the hotel can get a better ranking on major travel search platforms, such as TripAdvisor, Expedia, Skyscanner, increase traffic, order volume, positive reviews, etc. To advertise and acquire customers, the hotel pays through the company." So I’ve been taking the pill for about two weeks and have not stopped bleeding. it’s like moderate, like my period. I know this is normal and should even out but it’s been a while and I’m getting concerned. My issue is I see my long distance boyfriend a week from tomorrow and spent a lot of time and money on this trip and will be bummed out if we can’t do anything especially since it’ll be a bit before i see him again. I’m considering just stopping the pill and using condoms, but should the bleeding stop when you stop taking the pill? I’m also just paranoid i’ll keep bleeding even when i stop and it’s annoying and scary. should stopping the pill stop the bleeding?

Working for KT the last few years has been great, it’s a great company with good benefits and a fabulous bonus payout for all the hard work through the year. After 3 bonuses and 4 store leader changes and all the hell that comes with being understaffed, I made the decision to end my career with KT. I can’t entirely blame the new store leader for me leaving but all the stress and fighting for a better wage on top of having a manager with a crappy attitude has pushed me over the edge. I wanted to stay for my coworkers that made life easier for me but even they understand that the store I left has gone far downhill over the last year.
KT is hard work and that’s not a problem for me, the problem is when you work so hard to compensate for others not picking up the slack and then still be punished or not appreciated for the work you actually do. I don’t mean to complain, I know places that are far worse in that aspect, but I will say it falls below the expectations I had from previous leaders and managers. My mental health has suffered greatly working here and I’m sure a lot of coworkers and ex coworkers can agree that this job can be pretty soul sucking.
I wouldn’t tell anyone who wants to apply to turn and run, but definitely take into consideration that it’s the management that makes the job worth it.
Anyway I’ve had my rant, i just wanna say to the good coworkers out there and good managers, THANK you for making Kwik trip a good place to go to and keeping your coworkers mostly sane. I wouldn’t have made it 4 years without y’all, and it sucks to say goodbye so instead I’ll say “See ya next time!” ❤️

First off, excuse the “get on board pun.”
I’m in my early 20s and looking to kickstart a career in railroading. Living near Vancouver BC, I’m used to seeing the West Coast Express commuter rail service running all the time. From an early age, I’ve had a goal of working for WCE on the trains themselves. I’m currently awaiting surgery for a torn ligament in one of my knees, and once I’ve recovered, I’m chasing that dream.
At the start of this year and end of last year, I’ve started to try and determine the requirements of working for WCE. Given that WCE is a railway-based transportation system, positions within the company would likely require prior railway experience - experience which I would like to already have, when and if such a posting becomes available. Translink (the company that owns WCE) doesn’t have online information on the specifics of how the company operates or what position requirements are. I’ve emailed HR for Translink, Alstom (one of WCE’s operating companies), and BCRTC (another operating company), and have been met either with silence, or a reply saying to check the website to look at other careers.
I’m simply looking to find the right information so I can start my journey now and be ready for when an opportunity becomes available. If anyone here has any suggestions, or if I’m fortunate enough, works for WCE, the help is very appreciated.

I'm 20 years old. I just dropped out of my 1st year of college. I don't want to call it dropping out because I am open to going back, it just took me a while to realize that 1) I wouldn't like the work that was available for my particular degree and 2) I wasn't doing this for me, it was more for my parents.
I also want to quit my cafe job and got another one in door-to-door solar sales.
I was just so desperate for a change that I wanted to drop everything, but now I feel so completely lost, like I've lost all sense of security I've ever had. I've only been through a few training sessions, I have yet to do actual door-to-door knocking, and I keep finding reasons why to not do this such as:
- No security in it (1099 so all commission)
- No experience in sales (although many aren't experienced when starting)
- Lots of cold calling
- I'm not hungry for it like most solar reps tend to be
Recognizing all this, I can't help but feel like I'll fail at this. I also feel like I'm already regretting having left school. I'm not worried about the financial aspect of it too much because I have a little bit of savings I can live off of for a short while if this doesn't have a good start, my worry is failure.
I'm not even passionate about sales, but I was drawn to its potential and was willing to try something new but I am so scared of failing.
I don't know where I'm going. I left one place to liberate myself and now I just feel stuck in another, I have no idea where to go from here.

April 25, 1950. Newspapers across the country printed a release by the UPI from the day before that began, "Denver, Sheboygan, and Waterloo were expelled from the National Basketball Association today."
The Nuggets had been around since 1928, but had been amateur for 20 years and professional for only the last two. They were founded by a Piggly-Wiggly regional manager to entertain his son, who loved sports but had become wheelchair-bound as a result of Potts disease. As amateurs, they were national champions three times and runners-up six. As pros, they lost a lot.
In 1948-49, the most interesting thing about the Denver Nuggets was the presence of Mo Udall, who almost became President a couple decades later.
In 1949-50, it was probably the 0-15 start to the season. Or the other three double-digit losing streaks. Or the fact that they only paid their players half their contractually guaranteed salaries.
The NBA was at a weird crossroads in which they knew they either had to split into a majominor league system, expand and split into a baseball style AL/NL setup, or contract. When the best of the small-market teams, the Anderson Packers, ceased operations in the middle of the Finals—in part so that their owner could spend his free time riding trains—it suddenly became far easier for the league to decide on contraction. St. Louis quit on their own terms, but Denver, Sheboygan, and Waterloo were kicked out by unanimous vote from the other owners. Babe Kimbrough, president of the Indianapolis Olympians, initially abstained, until Commissioner Podoloff threatened to kick him out too if he didn't go along with it.
The three expelled teams started up a new league called the NPBL. The fact that you've never heard of it probably says how successful it was; they shut down before their first season even ended. But during that summer, they posed the NBA a real, existential threat. Waterloo poached the #1 pick from the Celtics. 16 starters (including Boston's leading scorer) and loads of prospects followed. Then it all dramatically fell apart.
Professional basketball came back to Denver via the ABA. In 1974, Carl Scheer changed the new franchise's name to the Nuggets to honor the original team. Two years later, they made the ABA Finals with the Denver Post's Frank Haraway among those covering the team, 48 years after his dad created them for him.
Now, they're one game away from their first major basketball championship since before WWII, a time when Denver basketball was led by a duo comprising "America's best center" and a guard who, when he "took charge... the pyrotechnics started." A certain Rev. Dr. James Naismith called them "the greatest team I have ever seen."

I recently started playing a little bit after not having played at all for the last 4 years, and I haven't bothered with any DLC since Mass Transit (released in 2017). I was recommended to wipe my content manager of old stuff and start over due to compatibility issues and was then pointed to an essentials mod collection.
Among many other things, it included the Metro Overhaul Mod. Some were things I recognize from back in the day (TM:PE & Timboh's collection etc.), while others were new, at least to me. It was mostly smooth sailing until I started playing around with setting up a metro system. I get very frustrated by the complexity of, and the metro system's behavior, once I unlocked it.
First and foremost, the new default depth seems to be about -15m (I believe it was/is shallower before/in vanilla), and now the metro tunnels seem to interfere with other train and road tunnels whereas IIRC it didn't use to do that as it was at a default depth that let it pass under surface roads, but just above (or under, can't recall which) road tunnels located at -12m.
Could you let me know whether these problems are due to the mod (or my inexperience with it), or if these are a result of changes to how Metro behaves in vanilla C:S today?
From what I recall, making a metro system was as simple as: Plop down your station type(s) of choice where you wanted them. Connect stations with tunnels (which by default were on their own 'depth', only needing to avoid other metro lines). Draw the lines and stops. Done.
Now, it just, isn't. What changed? Is it the mod I am using, or the vanilla behavior of the metro transport type in the vanilla game?

hi! first time seeking something out on Reddit. I'm 30 as the title suggests and I live in Ontario.
about me, I'm introverted by nature. I'd partially attribute that to my background and also my preference for a quiet and peaceful lifestyle. for what it's worth, everytime I did the Myers-Briggs personality test, I've consistently resulted in INTJ.
so up to now I've been quite focused in my career and side projects which have been coming fruition but I realized that I needed to take a few steps back from the daily grind and find a partner that I can confide in and to experience the fruits of life together.
for the most part, I stay fairly active. I'm usually training seven days a week split between the gym, MMA, and tennis. otherwise, I'm playing video games (League primarily, Project Zomboid, and some other FPS games) and studying another language. I speak three, brushing up on one and learning a fourth at the moment. I've also studied classical piano as a child and I'm deeply fond of musicals.
what I'm looking for is someone who can grab my hand and unravel philosphical debates and visions whether it's at a gallery, museum, or exhibition. I've been to Europe and Asia a handful of times but it would be absolutely amazing to have the both of us speedrun a new destination together, any%.

American here: just wanted to say I absolutely loved Scotland. England was meh, but Scotland blew my expectations out of the water. A friend and I drove from Edinburgh to Lochlash and just stumbled upon one of the most scenic castles in Europe, Eilean Donan. I told my co-traveler I had no real agenda for the trip except to see a castle. Eilean Donan was what I was hoping for and more.
Skye in general was gorgeous, we broke our trip up into parts and we had breakfast overlooking a gorgeous loch with mountains surrounding it. I couldn't believe how beautiful the country was.
Driving through the valley of Glencoe, I kept telling my friend to take pictures. It felt otherworldly. Just incredibly stunning scenery. I have plans to get a print of one of my pictures which I dubbed "The Lonely Mountain"
TL:DR - Scotland is great and everyone should visit.

Hi all - looking for some suggestions for our upcoming trip. Here's are details:
8 couples (16 total) for Mid-August 4 day Trip for 40th Birthday.
Rented a house in Southern Atlantic City, 1 block from the beach (about halfway from Ventor City to the Casino's).
We're there for 3 full days (not inclduing travel), and these are some of the things we're interested in:
Booze cruise, one casino night/nice dinner, day pool, relaxing at the beach, Tiki bars, and any fun places to eat.
We all like to drink and have a good time but we probably don't want a day pool that is HOPPING with extremely loud music if you know what I mean. We're open to renting 1-2 cabanas if we do an afternoon at a day pool. We're all from the Midwest so we'd prefer to be outdoors and not an indoor pool.
I know it's frowned upon sneaking drinks onto the beach but is it impossible? Any tips?
