I worked a golf tournament in Roosevelt on Friday and the catered lunch was Bam Bam’s BBQ food truck. The bbq was amazing. The ribs were huge and fell off the bone. The shredded chicken was great as well, but the highlight was definitely the smoked brisket. It definitely filled me up. I don’t know their prices because it was free, but the food was fabulous. Probably the best bbq I’ve had in Utah so far.
They have a brick and mortar store in Orem. Great food.

1 year ago I went to University residence for the first time after covid restrictions were first loosened at my uni; before this I never had this experience of itching. Anyway around the end of the school year; maybe a couple weeks before the end. I started noticing that every time I took a shower my skin would start itching(I was using Irish Spring body wash; and Ive heard someone on reddit got a more severe problem using the same brand). Either way I didnt think much of it; because normally I had a slight itch after a warm shower that lasted a few minutes. But these times the itch lasted way longer. Anyway as time went on this itch started showing up and getting really bad each night while I went to bed. It was unbearable and messed with my sleep. This then continued through the day where it would appear(but then disappear when I had to pay attention to class).
When I came home my parents got to know of this and they took me to a doctor. The doctor said it might be an allergy so he told me to use some Reactine which is some allergy medication and taking it gave me full relief for about 2 days or 3 days at best which was great. He then booked me an appointment for a clinic that tested allergies. They told me that 1 week before the appointment I could not take ANY allergy medication; that whole week was full torture for me; unbearable. We tried moisturizing the skin with all types of moisturizer and it didnt really work. I had to suck it up and try sleep by Gods grace; it was torture. But once the appointment came they did the test and said I had a dust mite allergy. They gave us a paper of recommendations and then I asked about the itchy skin once I go to take a shower an they said I should take reactin for around 1-2 months straight non stop and it will stop.
Either way to this day If I dont take reactine the allergy comes up no matter where i am. Right now I take half a reactin which lasts for 2 days then I have to take another.
Does anyone here have any experience dealing with this; is it just the allergy to dust mites because my body, head or legs itch no matter where I am at, its specially bad after showers that are warm.
In addition when the itch starts it generally starts only in one place; if my body is itching rarely is my legs itching wise versa.

ive been thinking about running my own campaigns in person as until now the only campaigns ive run have been run on roll 20. what sort of mat should i get for drawing my own maps on? Also I dont have the time or money to invest in a load of minis at the moment so what's the best alternative to use that isn't too expensive?

Gehalts Dumping und das versagen zur Bewältigung jeder einzigen schwierigen Frage die hauptsächlich die Unterschicht belastet und das fluorieren von Super konzernier während Kleinunternehmen untergehen sind keine Probleme, die die EU verursacht. Wir linken sollten ja eigentlich eine EU nach Vorbild der USA wollen. Eine Linke Utopie, die uns der Babler vorenthält.
Ich wähle Links für ihre Gesellschaftspolitik nicht dass diese Schweine mir mein Geld nehmen. Solange es mir ein gutes gewissen macht ohne dass es mich selbst nicht in irgend einer Weise einschränkt oder belastet wähle ich links. Meine Kommilitonen machen es doch auch. Ich bin progressiv und libertär. Ich verachte jeden der die FPÖ wählt. Diese ungebildeten Proleten sollten es besser wissen. Jedes mal wenn ich mit einem dieser ungebildeten, nach schweiß stinkenden nicht Maturanten reden muss wird mir Übel. Ich liebe das Zitat “The best argument against Democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter” . Jeder soll frei ohne jegliche Einschränkungen leben dürfen. Das mit Wirtschaftlich linker Politik auch gewisse Einschränkungen kommen hätte die mich als oberen Mittelklasse Bürger nicht erträumen können. Egal wie gering diese Belastung auch sein mag und wie viel es dem gesamten Bürgertum des Staates Österreich helfen würde MEIN GELD IST MEINS UND DER STAAT HAT KEIN RECHT ES MIR ZU NEHMEN.

Hello, I’ve had a bit of a strange experience with the DVLA recently and I’m hoping someone can shed some light on the best way to resolve this. Apologies in advance for the long post but I want to include the specifics so I’m clear.
I bought a car last year, the former owner transferred the registration to me online, in my presence; I taxed it, took out insurance and drove it home.
All was well until April 23, when I got a call from my wife saying that our car had been clamped on the residents’ parking outside, on our street. I was using a car I’d borrowed from my parents at the time, as mine (clamped) had failed it’s MOT due to a faulty sensor and I was awaiting the new part so had just left mine outside as usual.
Anyway, when I got home, I checked the note that had been stuck on the car by the clampers and saw that it was for unpaid road tax. Hmmm- checked my direct debit - still there but they hadn’t taken payment since January (it was now April). I couldn’t speak to anyone due to call volumes so eventually got through to a text chat advisor online.
I explained the situation to the chat person and they said the reason my direct debit had stopped was that the car was not registered to me and they only take direct debit until renewal and then don’t renew. They don’t notify the person they’ve been billing of any issues - they just clamp it.
I was baffled- I distinctly remembered the car being successfully transferred over to me and a confirmation webpage online. I didn’t receive paperwork or a confirmation email- though I put this down to Covid/working from home disorganisation commonplace at that time. However the DD was set up and seemed to be fine so I wasn’t concerned until this point.
I had a long conversation with the webchat advisor, explained it must be an IT or admin error and asked if there’s any way to escalate this and check it out. No luck at all - my mistake and their system is never wrong (paraphrasing).
To complicate matters, the lack of registration and MOT meant that I couldn’t just get the road tax issue sorted. The clamp meant I couldn’t get the MOT- catch 22. The car was going to be towed imminently and escalating clamping fees etc. I’ll cut this bit short but essentially I managed to get the part, gain a stay of execution from the clampers for towing and get the car unclamped, fixed, MOT’d and taxed.
In the process of working out how to do this, I’d called and finally spoken with the DVLA to explain the situation and get an idea of how to fix it. During the conversation we ran through the details and it turns out that their system shows that I HAD been registered as the keeper but had then been unregistered as the keeper. But she could t explain why. She said she’d start an investigation and get the VC5 document to me with my details.
I called again to check on the VC5 a few days later (I was still trying to stop getting the car towed away at this point) and was told that it was in the post and that I’d receive a letter explaining what had happened. I asked him could he tell me and he said that I had been registered as the keeper online but that the former owner had also posted the slip, saying he’d disposed of the car and so the record was then updated to there being no owner.
I’ve since received a letter with a fine (or court) for the having the car on the road in April with no road tax, in addition to the tax that was due from January -April. It’s not a massive fine but I’ve already paid £100 to the clamping company and spent an awful lot of time, hassle and embarrassment (neighbours etc) trying to get this resolved.
I can’t see how I can be considered unregistered as the keeper, yet liable for the fine or considered the registered keeper (at the time) but the direct debit not taken. I’m also confused as to how the former keeper can de-register the new keeper! I don’t want the hassle or lost work time (self employed) going to court but this all seems really unjust to me. Apart from not chasing up their paperwork, I’ve not put a foot wrong.

Hi guys im going to be applying this cycle and wanted some advice on schools to focus on and which ones to avoid. I'm okay with applying to schools with a low chance but probably cant do every single one because that's a lot of essays lol.
Background: IP Alberta, completed 4 years, MCAT: Writing August
GPA by school: UofC/Ualberta: wGPA 3.94, OMSAS cumulative: 3.84, Sask: 92.5%, UBC: 89%,
Western: 3.89
ECS: Blood bank: 1.5 years in high school (100-150 hours), Co-foundevolunteer at a food bank: 3 years, Hospital volunteering 2.5 years (110 hours), Physio assistant volunteer 3 years (Ongoing 500+ hours), Rehab for older people with disabilities (50-100 hours), two practicums (children with autism and rehab), part-time cook for 3 years, exec at two clubs 3 years (hopefully starting one this year), play competitive soccer (not pro/varsity) for 10+ years
research: 2 publications in the works but unsure when they'll be out.
I'm not the best at writing and it'll take me a while with a lot of help so I appreciate any insight on which schools to avoid based on stats/which ones I could still have a chance at OOP. TIA

You spend countless hours in college learing about so many cool things, but when you come home, i barely can use anything, since it's so specific that the best you can do is spit out random pieces of information

So me (19m) and my bf (20m) have been dating for about 3 months. He lives about 2 hours away from me and since I don’t have a car right now he’s been doing all the driving to see me. We don’t get to see each other often because he is very busy with school/work and I work full time so our schedules often clash, it’s definitely not what I wanted in a relationship but He’s very sweet, caring and has a good sense of humor. I have really fallen for him, he makes me very happy when we’re together and I want to make this work. The problem is we don’t call or ft often and mainly just talk over text, He’s just always busy with something. He takes summer classes right now but when school actually starts again his schedule is gonna get even more busy. It makes me feel like he’s not gonna have time for our relationship. I talked to him about this, he said that he will not have have as much time as he dose now and he doesn’t exactly know how it’s gonna play out yet but he’s gonna do his best to make time for me. I have some issues from past relationships but he always reassures me when I need. I appreciate the effort he puts in and I know he’s trying it just makes me nervous he’s gonna be to busy for me and where our relationship is gonna go. So any advice on how to deal with these feelings or navigate this situation would be appreciated.

I'm learning to write prompts, but most of the time, I just write it out of my imagination about random things. For example, when I'm writing about the character and start thinking about the lighting so I type inn "movie lighting," but the results are my character being a glowing light... any advice?

Twenty-five out of thirty people in my group this week have Plus. I've noticed this before but never quite this bad. It seems like they're just stacking the odds against free users. I'm sure Diamond league has more Plus users than some of the other leagues because subscribers are obviously very committed if they're willing to spend money but still...! I think the ratio is suspicious. Over 83% subscription rate in Diamond league if my league were representative. That just doesn't seem possible naturally.
I'm just ranting I guess. I've done nothing but tread water all week trying to stay above the demotion zone. I've been in Diamond league for almost three years and staying there is one of the things that keeps me pushing forward. Staying there isn't about me besting someone else either, it's just a personal goal that keeps me going. It's frustrating if there's a secret push to de-motivate non-subscribers.
