Here are all of the new US CCS (Level 3 fast-charging) stations that rolled out in May 2023, according to the Department of Energy. These chargers are suitable for most new EVs on the market, except for:
There were 222 CCS charge points added or refreshed in May 2023, which is up from 171 in April. For comparison, there were only 74 new CCS charge points in May 2022. Things are speeding up.
"What about CCS charging at Tesla superchargers?" Tesla is in the process of rolling out their "magic dock" for non-Tesla cars, but so far in very few locations. If they start doing this at scale and reporting it to the Alternative Fuels Data Center then it will be reflected here.
"What about Ford vehicles with NACS (Tesla) plugs?" They are not on sale yet. Current-generation Ford vehicles have CCS plugs. The next generation will have NACS (Tesla) plugs, but will also support CCS via an adapter.

I can find several articles from the Courier-Journal archives on newspapers.com referencing "Mary Eve" from January 1993 that I can not access because they are behind a paywall. But a reddit user apparently posted the contents of one of them a few years ago.
This case is of interest to me because I have family in the Louisville area who I used to visit fairly often who lived near Shelbyville Road. The shopping center mentioned in the article, Oxmoor Center, sounds very familiar, I think I may have been there once years ago. Clearly this happened in the area of Louisville where my relatives live.
Has anyone tried to find out more on this? With all the old cases being solved recently due to genetic genealogy (some of which I was thinking would never be solved) I was hoping to hear this one was too, but as long as nobody remembers it and virtual all traces or mentions are gone, nobody will even bother trying to solve this one.

Specifically, rents in Seattle, WA (-0.2%) saw the first year-over-year declines in nearly 2 years, and rents in San Diego, CA (-1.0%) saw the first decline in over 2.5 years. Although San Jose, CA (3.2%) appears to be an outlier in March, its growth rate was only one sixth of what it was a year ago (19%), and it is more likely to continue to trend downwards in the coming months. Rents in Midwest Markets Continue to See Faster GrowthOn the flip side, rents in Midwest metros continued to see faster rent growth. In April 2023, the median rent growth rate was 4.9%. As the Midwest markets tend to have greater affordability, the stronger growth in these markets likely results from this benefit even as it may reduce existing affordability. Among the top 10 metros experiencing the fastest year-over-year growth, six of them are located in the Midwest: Cincinnati, OH (9.9%), Detroit, MI (8.9%), Columbus, OH (8.4%), Indianapolis, IN (8.1%), Milwaukee, WI (6.8%), and St. Louis, MO (5.7%). Faster Growth in Asking Rents and Decreasing Renter Mobility Make the Shelter Price Index StickierAs the largest regular expense for most households, shelter costs are a subject of significant interest to consumers and a significant component of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data. Between April 2022 to April 2023, the U.S. city average for shelter increased by 8.1 percent, down from 8.2 percent in March, and the first slowing since March 2021. Both its primary components – owners’ equivalent rent of residences and rent of primary residence – experienced a year-over-year increase of 8.1 and 8.8 percent. The shelter index increased 0.4 percent on a monthly basis (seasonally adjusted), the smallest month-over-month change since February 2022. As a result, changes in shelter prices may take longer to show up in the CPI shelter index compared to other data sources. In fact, the share of renters who moved in the past 12 months declined to its lowest rate in 2021 (Figure 5), suggesting a record-high lease renewal rate. Since more tenants chose to secure lower rents by renewing leases than before, a larger proportion of the growth in market rents has not yet been captured in the shelter index, amplifying the lags between the CPI shelter index and making it stickier. New Store Openings:
In addition to the existing store setups (suburbia/shopping mall/next to freeways/ample parking space), Round 1 USA is proceeding with smaller amusement focused stores, and continues with the goal of 10 new stores per year.
This is most likely caused by long term consumer behavior changes toward bowling/karaoke/food/spocha spending, post Covid-19 pandemic.
While Round 1 is still aggressively converting Japanese stores to Giga UFO catcher stadiums, such changes are not planned for the American market.
Round 1 USA is also under lease negotiations with 22 malls.

WHAT IS KENTUCKY ELDER ABUSE LAW?
Kentucky law addresses the protection of elderly and vulnerable adults in Chapter 209 of the state’s revised statutes.
The KY statutes address the welfare of people who are 18 years old or older who, because of mental or physical dysfunction, are unable to manage their own resources, carry out activities of daily living, or protect themselves from neglect, exploitation, or a hazardous or abusive situation without assistance from others.
REPORTING ELDER ABUSE IN KENTUCKY
Under Kentucky law you are required to report any suspicions you have about the potential abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of an adult who has a physical or mental disability and is unable to protect themselves, such as an elderly person.
Reports of elder abuse are typically made to the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services through a 24-hour toll-free hotline at 1-877-597-2331. Calls can be made anonymously. Nonemergency reports may also be made through the Kentucky Child / Adult Protective Services Reporting System online, which is essentially email that is only monitored during business hours on weekdays.
HOW DOES KENTUCKY ENFORCE ELDER ABUSE LAWS?
The KY Cabinet for Health and Family Services is to investigate allegations of elder abuse and, depending on the circumstances, may be required to notify the appropriate law enforcement agency. Reporting elder abuse may lead to a criminal investigation, arrest, and prosecution of the abuser, although the primary purpose of Kentucky’s mandatory reporting laws is to get protective services to the person being abused.
Each report of elder abuse is reviewed to determine whether it needs to be investigated and/or whether the object of the complaint requires protective services. All adults are offered protective services and may accept or refuse services.
Adult Protective Services also provides voluntary, general assistance services aimed at helping the adult function at their highest level of self-sufficiency and autonomy and remain in the community. General adult services may be requested on behalf of a vulnerable adult or by the adult who needs assistance.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOR SENIORS IN LOUISVILLE, KY
The Louisville, KY, Police Department has established the Senior Crime Victims’ Program to assist elderly crime victims (age 60+) who reside in the Metro Louisville/Jefferson County area in cases involving elder abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, financial exploitation and identity theft or fraud. There are two programs:
The Emergency Crisis Response Team provides immediate, short-term emergency shelter and home care services to Metro Louisville seniors who are experiencing abuse, neglect or exploitation as a result of crime (not self-neglect). However, clients must be referred through Adult Protective Services (502-595-4803 in Louisville) or another community-based referral source.
The In-home Emergency Protective Order Service assists in the issuance of Emergency Protective Orders (EPOs) for medically fragile/homebound elderly victims of abuse.

- St. George, UT (This is one of the most obvious to me. One of the fastest growing cities in the country and with Zion, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, North rim of the Grand Canyon, and so much more all nearby, this seems like a no-brainer.)
- Albany, NY (There was talk of a store opening here a couple years ago in the Colonie Center mall, not sure what ended up happening to it.)

No experience necessary for the laborer custodial or maintenance mechanic positions. It helps on the interview but you can surely think of maintenance related experience to relay for an interview. Based on fixing things around your house, the car etc. Always mention working safely.
Pro tip: You can apply for any job that has an exam opening and the test is administered local to yourself. Make sure you're serious and score decently; you can turn down the job offer. Keep a physical copy of your exam score, I believe they are good for two years.
The reason is: These job postings can be posted externally at capacity for testing, meaning they will not allow you to take the exam if they have enough qualified applicants. However, if you have a test score on the books, you are a qualified applicant.
Explanation of MVO/TTO to save time:
MVO= CDL B Can only drive box trucks on public roads, can drive anything for moves on postal property.
TTO= CDL A Can drive anything.
USPS provides the training. (Maintenance jobs at least. TTO and management...GOOD LUCK)

No experience necessary for the laborer custodial or maintenance mechanic positions. It helps on the interview but you can surely think of maintenance related experience to relay for an interview. Based on fixing things around your house, the car etc. Always mention working safely.
Pro tip: You can apply for any job that has an exam opening and the test is administered local to yourself. Make sure you're serious and score decently; you can turn down the job offer. Keep a physical copy of your exam score, I believe they are good for two years.
The reason is: These job postings can be posted externally at capacity for testing, meaning they will not allow you to take the exam if they have enough qualified applicants. However, if you have a test score on the books, you are a qualified applicant.
Explanation of MVO/TTO to save time:
MVO= CDL B Can only drive box trucks on public roads, can drive anything for moves on postal property.
TTO= CDL A Can drive anything.
USPS provides the training. (Maintenance jobs at least. TTO and management...GOOD LUCK)
