Obligatory sorry for spelling mistakes, bad grammar, and/or formatting.
As the title says, I'm considering it. This weekend was more so a catalyst for me realizing all the things about "Norman" (Not his real name) that made me do a harsh realization that he's not the type of person I want to be friends with.
I don't want to make it out like Norman's solely the bad guy, or that I haven't done or said things that are deserving of criticism. I'm not here for validation or anything of the sort. But I'm pissed off, and kind of hurt, and want to rant for a while.
So firstly, about myself for some context. I don't have very many pet peeves, but a big one is adults not speaking like adults. For example, I get unreasonably annoyed when people use terms such as "tummy, chickie nuggies, potty" or other shit like that. I typically get more annoyed when people call alfredo sauce "white sauce" for example. I'll never express my annoyance to people or anything like that, but it just ticks something in my brain. Again, I don't think this habit is good, but it is what it is. Another smaller pet peeve of mine is I'm pretty insecure about my image, and being seen as immature or cringy in public is one hundred percent an insecurity of mine. That will play into it later.
Norman, likes to call hot women "Fee's." I personally think its completely cringy, embarrassing, and kind of gross to be honest. But ultimately, it's his life, he can do what he wants. When he first started using it around me, I asked him not too, saying that is annoys me, and I would appreciate it if he doesn't do it around me. He never once tried to stop saying it around me, and was completely honest about continuously doing it because it's funny and annoys me.
Since he does it to purposely annoy me at this point, I decided to make fun of him when he does it, call him cringy and embarrassing, etc. He didn't seem to have an issue with it, would laugh more because of my reaction to him saying it (fair enough.) This has been going on for a while, and it continues to annoy me more than it should, and he continues to do it because he annoys me.
This weekend, we were hanging out in town, and he's said it maybe 10 or so times that day, maybe more. Laughing when I roll my eyes or call him cringy. Whatever.
Anyway, the last time he said it, we were in public, with other people around. We were talking about plans to do over the next two days because we got Monday and Tuesday off for memorial day. He said "We should go to the gym and then hike." (For context, we're both pretty fit and we go to the gym together unless I'm bringing someone along that doesn't go to the gym regularly. This last week or so I haven't been going to the gym with him because I have been going with a friend of mine from work because they're relatively new to it. )
I jokingly was like, a hike!? and he said
"Yeah bro that's where all the Fee's are, And they're going to be fit and hot and shit" Loud enough for people to hear.
Now, I don't think I was right to react like this, but I said quietly to him,
"Shut the fuck up, like actually shut up. Don't fucking talk to me right now."
Now, I believe I was in the wrong, and I'm not proud I said it, but I think it was a combination of him continuously saying it, and other people hearing it that just made me snap.
Anyway he cold shouldered my for the rest of the time we spent together (fair enough) and told me a bit later
"I can say whatever the fuck I want"
to which I responded "and I can say whatever I want in response, You can't get mad over me saying what I want in response to me getting mad to you for saying whatever you want."
Now, I don't actually believe that, but I was pissed off and trying to defend what I said in the heat of the moment. Once I cooled of I told him I'm sorry for snapping at him, and left him alone to think things out.
Now, if that was all it was, I wouldn't post this and we'd be back to being friends in like. 2 days. But as I said in the beginning, this was a catalyst to me realizing all the things I dislike about him. I'd like to be clear, I think its good for people to have friends that don't agree with them on everything. I prefer it in fact. And I think people that can't be friends with others due to opposing view points are dumb.
With that said, let's go into detail of the some red flag view points Norman has.. and you may see where I'm coming from.
Firstly: He sees women as objects, has openly told me he only really thinks about women for sex, and
doesn't see himself being able to be just friends with a woman. This was after criticizing me for
hanging out with my work friend turned gym buddy, and I told him I wasn't interested in a
relationship with them. Actually I just realized that women are 80 percent of what this guy talks
about. He doesn't think he's entitled to women or anything like that, I'd never be friends with
those people, but it's still pretty fucked up.
Secondly: He criticizes my relatively low body count. I turn 20 next month, and was in like, a 3 year
long high school relationship. And once we broke up, I never cared for hookups or that shit,
so I just stayed single until a girl I wanted to date came along. I guess him making fun of me
for that hit me more than I though cause here I am, trying to justify it to you lot, lol. Male
insecurity is dumb.
Thirdly: He encourages me to smoke/vape. Now, I don't have a issue with this really, but more so it just
occurred to me that all my other friends, especially the ones who do it, don't like it when I
smoke. In fact, they actively encourage me to not get into it again. It's kind of like a
comparison to people who really care about my health, against someone who doesn't. Ya
know? Also he calls me a pussy for not liking hard liquor and preferring wine and mixed drinks,
lol.
Lastly: He's pretty homophobic, and I don't really dig homophobia tbh. Like, bruh, they ain't tryna fuck
you so what's the problem (And I'm not gonna lie, when gay guys asked me out I feel flattered
af) Also he has the middle school humor of "N-word = funny" which I don't think makes him
racist per say, but I don't fuck with it.
There's other shit, but those are the ones I care to type out. I think for a long time I was like, "Oh its not a big deal." But I think that was because he's the longest friend I have and I was accustomed to it. Idk, what do y'all think? I feel better after typing it all out. If I'm being stupid let me know, but I don't think I am, if anything, I'm being stupid for not realizing it before. And needing a stupid childish argument to be the thing to get me to pull my head out the clouds.
He's not entirely a bad guy, he has been there for me when I needed a friend and has genuinely wanted to help me through some bad mental states I've been in. I think he really does care for me, and care about him too to an extent. But there's so much toxic, or downright disgusting ideologies that he has adopted and I'm really not sure if I can continue a friendship now that I've realized it.

2023.05.29 23:50 JayDiggity_00 So I finally scored a little DMT and here was my first attempt but no breakthrough. Advice for the little amount left using something like but besides a dab rig ( don’t have one atm) no do I have a meth pipe, but a way just as good of a tool to breakthrough!!!!

I tried to put a bump in an oil pen on the coil and I ripped it by clicking the button On and off as I ripped it so it wouldn’t burn it too fast and held it in as long as I could…… phewwwwwww…. Everything looked like HD and slightly different from how it looks tripping but like clearer and vibrant in colors like I was using an instagram filter of its own kind. I was sitting up and aware and even talking my experience through to someone sitting next to me who let me use their oil pen. It lasted like 10 minutes and was pretty but didn’t breakthrough. I've seen people in the last half year consistently pissed about the change in fund administraton and increase in fund fees. I get how fund fees work and I see what the new fund fees are for popular tsp funds. My main question is would it be better to open and max out a private roth ira and then do my best to max roth tsp even with the new fees. I'm new active mil and have only interacted with the new system. So far have been trying to put as much into tsp as possible. My mix is S,C, and I. Also is there anything you think I should know about the old website vs the new website? I use a the free version of the Daily TSP app to keep and eye on things and it seems good so I don't use the main website much.

I feel like I've tried every possible solution I've tried online, but none seem to have worked. As a disclaimer I'm not tech illiterate, however I'm not especially knowledgeable and it's possible I could have missed something obvious.
I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 10, with AdBlock Plus and McAfee WebAdvisor extensions. I've noticed an issue on a few websites where the buttons on the page will not be clickable despite being visible, so my cursor doesn't change when hovering over and they don't do anything when clicked. I've noticed this on Google, YouTube and Fandom, but it might affect other sites that I haven't visited as much. The strange issue with YouTube is that only some videos seem to be affected, whereas others don't. Sometimes this renders the page unresponsive, particularly with YouTube.
I tried disabling my AdBlock on one video and the issue remained. I've also tried downloading Brave browser, which immediately crashed on opening a YouTube video so I've uninstalled it.
I've troubleshooted my internet connection and sent a ping command, cleared my cache and browsing history at least three times, removed two extensions, blocked third party cookies, checked for Chrome updates and graphics driver updates, and restarted my browser after all of this. Nothing seems to have worked.
I'm not sure if it might be my laptop, which is a few years old now. I'm fairly confident it's not my internet connection as this works fine on other devices like phones and consoles, and checking online indicates that YouTube isn't experiencing any issues at present.

I F not going to say age because im not comfortable with that but anyway this Is just a vent post but before I start the story let me give you some baground info me and my dad always had a "good" relationship although I always kind of ditanced myself he always wanted to snuggle and i was his "little princess" but he is a very loud person and used to be an alcoholic and always argued with my mom and yelled at me and my brother's mostly my brother's and grounded us all the time for stupid stuff by forgetting to put away Legos or toys but my dad asked to get a divorce at my birthday party on year so things were weird they separated we moved to a different town my mom met her fiance and I have 3 brothes,2 step siblings(from moms fiance) and a half brother

I realize that 15 cents may not seem like much if you are paying $8 for parking. However, for those of us who use the extending parking time feature to add more time to an existing parking transaction, 15 cents is a lot when the transaction may only be 25 cents.

i am a year and a half sober from hard drug use(methamphetamine). before addiction, i was working as a chef in popular, fine dining restaurants. i was doing very well for myself and, my future. when covid hit charleston, sc and everything shutdown, i started using “more” and eventually, spiraled. leaving me jobless, homeless and careless.

Have had bluecurve for three years, with only occassional issues mostly with TV ( bluecurve 6 router and wifi TV portals, all devices wifi connected ). Past month or so, have had a lot of wifi disconnects and laptops not able to reconnect. Have tried the usual, power cycle router, uninstall/reinstall wifi devices, 2-3 online chats with Shaw, one Shaw tech visit where he swapped the router for another of the same model ( refurbished ). Things work for a while and then laptops drop wifi connection, oddly usually mid afternoon, while IoT devices remain connected ( they are 2.4GHz, while laptops prefer 5GHz ). More than one laptop involved, all are Windows 10, latest patch release. There are no splitters in the cable, only one line from outdoor box to bluecurve modem connection.
I have noticed that when one or more laptop devices have dropped their internet connection, ( windows wifi status changes from the pie shaped icon to a globe and text reads " Connected, no internet", so it seems the laptop is still connected to the router, but not beyond, but I'm not sure about that.
Also noticed that for the most part, my work laptop on VPN remains connected to the corporate network. Today, I disconnected the VPN on work laptop and my personal laptop immediately reconnected to wifi/internet. I did confirm that work laptop was connected to 5GHz wifi, same as the problematic personal laptops.
Wondering if vpn connection takes priority of bandwidth and starves the other devices, causing them to disconnect? Sounds stupid, I know, but I'm at a loss here. One online Shaw Tech did confirm she saw unusual behavior on my modem from her side but I don't know what that meant and when the on-site guy did his tests, all was good and in fact speedtest was amazing on all devices ( until about 10 minutes after he left... ).
At the moment, I am using my phone as a wifi hotspot for work laptop/vpn, but don't want to have to do that if it really isn't the issue.

I've had this problem for a few months and have exhausted every possible fix I can find. While using VTTs (mainly roll20), sometimes while I move a token, change pages, or tab to a different tab, my audio will make a pop noise and become extremely low quality. Sometimes in addition, my microphone will break and people in discord hear what they describe as "The Wails of the Damned" or "Souls of children screaming in pain" whenever I try to speak.
I have tried using different browsers, clearing the caches, updating every driver I can find, using dark or light mode, having 0 other programs open, changing the process priority on my CPU, turning on and off hardware acceleration, and every other setting change or "Fix" I've seen online.
The problem CAN be fixed temporarily by turning Windows Spatial Sound on then back off. But that only lasts until it happens again, which seems to be completely at random. I've troubleshooted and diagnosed as much as I can but need help to see if anyone has any ideas to help permanently fix this. One thing to add is I have 32gb of ram and while moving a token repeatedly, Roll20 alone takes up at least 60% of my memory.
Pls help, it's really annoying

Is there any mod that overhauls skills levels closer to Oblivion, so you "unlock" abilities every 25 points like repair magic items with 50 armorer, jump on the water at 100 acrobatics, or conjuration 75 for soul trap using bound weapons?
