Our OGP gets seriously slammed sometimes, on holidays it's really bad. On weekends it's busy but not always horrible, however I think that the dispensers especially are wrung out by all the people coming for grocery pickup, the small space we have can get filled up, etc.
So I think that Walmart is just taking too many orders and not being honest with customers and saying "hey, if you place an order today it might be late or a long wait" and expecting potentially small OGP teams to handle the workload.
How do we encourage people to pick up groceries on the less busy weekdays? How about making a second tier of Walmart + that is cheaper but is limited to the less busy days and not on holidays. People can choose to save a few bucks and not be mad that they're picking up groceries on the weekday.
Also it may save the store money. Perhaps reduce the loss of customers, the lost work from orders that are cancelled and reshopped, the damage that happens (at least at my dept) from reshopping some goods. (E.g. expired, crushed, groceries gone bad). It can reduce the efficiency problems of pulling associates from other departments to work OGP which probably disadvantages those departments.

I picked up a 4130 All Road when they were on sale this past holiday season. For $800 + free carbon fork upgrade + free shipping, I think it was a hell of a good deal.
I’m looking for opinions on a second wheel set. Bike came with the State alloy 650b’s that are ~2100g.
I can pick up a set of DT Swiss ER1600s for around $400. 350 hubs, ~1600g and 32mm deep.
OR get a set of Light Bicycle carbon 650b wheels for around $600. Bitex hubs, ~1300g and 35mm deep.
My riding is about 80/20 road/gravel. I average about 15mph on 50 mile rides, so not really getting into aero gainz territory. I do really like the added cushion of 650b though.
And thus my question: 700c and better hubs or significantly lighter 650b’s? What’s the better upgrade?
(Or third option, put Pathfinder Pros on the stock 650b’s and enjoy the ride!)

Sorry in advance for the length. My husband has a 7.5 year old son. Him and the BM were together for the first 3ish years of his life. There is no court order currently in place and BM is essentially a dictator and does not have the child's best interest in mind so we're in the process of starting a custody case. Husband is extremely anxious about it so I wanted to maybe get some reassurance or advice from people who have experience.
Schedule - Husband has his son every Weds and EOWE. BM decides the pick up and drop off times day to day. They "share" holidays, where each of them gets him for about half of the holiday. The problem with this is that she decides the times, so his son often misses the events our family has but gets to attend all her family events. She has stated in text before that rotating holidays "doesn't work for her family because she has two kids who want to be together on the holidays." Husband would like to add another weeknight (2-2-5-5 schedule) and rotate holidays and school breaks. I don't foresee this being a problem since rotating holidays and school breaks are standard.
Child Support - Husband pays BM $400/mo (according to our state's CS calculator, that's at least $150-$250 more than he should be paying). He originally paid the $400 amount because that was his half of the rent when they broke up. Once their lease term was up he approached her about lowering it to $300 and she said "good luck ever seeing your son again" so he kept the original amount. This is another big goal of court, to get it down to a fair amount.
Incident - This is one of the few arguments BM might have in court against joint custody. We have rebuttals and everything for it, but I wanted to mention it to see if anyone has any advice on how we should approach it. About 3.5 years ago, husband left drug paraphernalia in his son's bag and BM's mom found it. No police or CPS report was filed and husband took multiple drug tests on his own dime to continue seeing his son. Since the incident he's been very involved (see below) and nothing like that has happened since. If it comes up in court we'll have our lawyer show the drug tests he took and let them know that he's been doing custodial duties since then and would be happy to take regular UAs if needed in the custody agreement. Any advice on how to approach this would be appreciated.
Custodial duties - Husband is a VERY involved father. He attends every school event (BM attends some but not as much as dad), has taken him to every birthday party he's ever been to, has coached him in multiple sports, takes him to almost every Dr and dentist appt (even when BM was not working for over 2 years and my husband would have to take off work to do it). We have completed 4 out of 5 virtual school days. We also have evidence that we work with him in reading (which he struggles with) and she does not. From court he'd like the get joint physical and joint legal custody, which BM is very against.
BM - We sent BM our custody suggestions to see if we could agree to anything outside of court and she won't agree to anything. I don't think she actually read what we sent her, but she said it would inconvenience her and the child so she doesn't agree and that she definitely doesn't agree to "giving him custody." We have been trying since February to get her to compromise on something out of court with no luck. BM is high conflict and we have many texts where she says things like calling my husband mentally retarded, that he won't last long in court and she will enjoy every minute of it, and many other terrible things. We're going to try mediation but aren't hopeful that she will be willing to budge, and her parents will pay for everything so she won't be concerned about money.
I'm open to any advice here, but I also have a few specific questions.

1. Will CS be calculated during mediation? If we can show her what the amount will be in court based on the calculator they use I think that will give us a lot of leverage to work with in mediation.
2. Does it seem like he has a good chance of joint custody? I think so, but I'm also very biased in his favor haha.
3. Any advice on getting BM to budge during mediation? It seems silly to go to trial when husband really isn't asking for much more, but she's so high conflict I'm afraid we'll have to.
4. Would offering joint custody with her having final decision making power be worth it if we could get everything else figured out in mediation?

I've just found out that the emergency exit seats are narrower because of the arm rests and that you can't use belt extender. I didn't pick the seats, my family did, and I think they underestimated my size. I know I'm fat, I know it's my fault, I promise making me feel any worse isn't going to be possible right now.
I'm a UK size 20-22, 5ft 3. I was able to fit at about the same size in 2019, both flights Ryanair, but I think the aircraft might be different
I'm due to fly next week. What will happen on the plane if/when I can't fit? Will I get left behind, or will there be an awful scene as I have to swap seats? I've only flown once before, so I'm very inexperienced

I grew up without a mother, I became a teen mom at 16. I have always tried to be the mother I wish I had, I communicate everything and she comes to me about anything. She hardly gets into trouble and she’s a funny sweet girl but when it comes to me she either doesn’t care or thinks I don’t care. For the past few years now I spend Mother’s Day alone while she hides in her room, I don’t get cards or anything made by her (she paints and draws and makes her fiends stuff all the time and I always compliment her work and have asked her to make me something before because w like the same things) she asks sometimes what I would like and I say a clean house and or something made by her but yet every year nothing. I make her holidays and birthdays special and invite her friends, decorate her room etc. I let her go to concerts and I have to drive her each time and pick her up, she owns basically anything she’s ever wanted and her only chores are cleaning her bathroom and room atleast once a week, take the trash out, and empty the dishwasher. I have to remind her most of the time to get those things done. I’m starting to blame myself because I think I’ve been to easy on her so she has just become selfish and lazy and I don’t know what to do anymore. Her behavior would make more sense if she hated me or if I was a mean strict mom but why is she acting like this towards me when we have a good relationship? It hurts that my daughter won’t even make me a fucking card to show that she loves me. I told her one time that it hurts to not be thought of on certain holidays/birthdays and she cried but then the following holiday/birthday I get nothing but a text. I don’t get it.

Hawai’i nei. When I think of Hawaii football, I think of a rich state-wide sporting culture that manifests as 11 warriors flying around the football field. Hawaii’s had an up and down, but very proud, football history. Going 0-12 in 1998 to subsequent 9-4 and 3-9 records the following years might be a perfect microcosm of Rainbow Warrior football. For me, and I’m sure for a lot of other fans, the Colt Brennan Hawaii teams in ‘06 and ‘07 were some of the funnest teams to ever watch, and I look forward to watching games in the new Aloha Stadium once complete.

Hawaii’s 0 consensus All-Americans is surprising given the talent of some players that’ve come through the Aloha state. WR Greg Salas led the nation in receiving yards in 2010, catching 119 passes for 1889 yards and 14 TD, but still couldn’t get everyone to say “this guy’s an All-American.” Neither could WR Ashley Lelie, who was 2nd in 2001 with 1713 yards, and led the nation with 19 TD. Not to mention Colt Brennan and some of the other skill position players from those 2006/07 teams. Players aside, Hawaii’s had a healthy rate of winning seasons (20 seasons of .500 win % or better), conference titles (1 every 10 years), players drafted (over 1 a year), and has a winning bowl record, including a 6-4 record in Hawaii Bowls.

Top 5 Seasons

Worst Season: 1998 (0-12 overall, 0-8 WAC)
Hawaii STUNK. Coach Fred von Appen finished his 3 year tenure as head coach with a 5-31 record, with 1998 being Hawaii’s only ever winless season. #24 Arizona, whose coaching staff featured Hawaii coaching expats Dick Tomey, Rich Ellerson, and Bob Wagner, beat the Warriors 27-6 in the opener. It set the tone for the season, as Hawaii went winless while Arizona finished 12-1. After a loss to Utah, 0-20 and 0-28 losses to Arkansas State and SMU put them at 0-4. The closest score the rest of the season season was just 10 points in a 20-30 loss to New Mexico. Worst losses included 13-30 to 3-8 UTEP, 17-45 to 4-8 San Jose State, 12-51 to 5-6 Fresno State, and 21-47 to 3-9 Northwestern. Overall, Hawaii ranked dead last in offense with 12.4 PPG while giving up 35.2 PPG against the 79th ranked Strength of Schedule. In 1999 new head coach June Jones would complete the biggest turnaround in NCAA history, winning 9 games.
This ranks as the 5th worst season ever, by any team, since 1983.
5. 1988 (9-3 overall, 5-3 WAC)
Now let’s take it back 10 years in the past, from 1998 → 1988. Hawaii was a better football team back then. 2x Super Bowl champion kicker Jason Elam, just a freshman at the time, nailed 47 and 23 yard FGs in the 4th quarter in a 27-24 upset of #9 Iowa. A week 6 matchup between 4-0 Hawaii and 4-1 UTEP would determine who’d be Wyoming’s biggest challenger for the WAC title, but UTEP won 42-25. Andy Reid was an OL coach for the Miners at the time. Hawaii did their best to keep pace in the conference, going 7-2 with close wins over San Diego State and the now defunct Long Beach State 49ers. A loss to #16 Wyoming ended any shot at a WAC title, but wins over Air Force and Oregon to end the year were sweet, with Hawaii finishing the year 2-0 against Power 5/6 teams (Iowa and Oregon). QB Warren Jones was one of the best players in the WAC, leading the conference in passer efficiency, throwing 2000+ yards with 19 TD 11 INT, and adding another 669 and 8 TD on the ground.
4. 2001 (9-3 overall, 5-3 WAC)
The 2001 senior class had had enough. From 0-12 in 1998 to 9-4 then 3-9, what the heck did 2001 have in store? Nobody knew. The season opener against FCS team Montana was anyone’s bet, as the Grizzlies were #2 in the FCS rankings. Hawaii won 30-12, but 2 straight one-possession losses had them fall to 1-2. That’s when QB Nick Rolovich and the offense took flight. 3 straight wins including a 66-7 pummeling of UTEP improved Hawaii to 4-2. Hosting David Carr and #18 Fresno State in a packed Aloha Stadium of 38,000, Rolovich threw a 20 yard TD pass with 13 seconds left to win the Golden Screwdriver 38-34. Splitting their next 2 games, Hawaii was 6-3 with 3 of their toughest games left, and Rolovich WENT NUCLEAR. He outdueled Ben Roethlisberger and 7-3 Miami (OH), throwing 7 TD passes in a 52-51 win. That was followed up by a 5 TD performance against Air Force, winning 52-30. And the best was saved for last. Hosting 12-0, #9 BYU, Rolovich had the performance of a lifetime, throwing 8(!!!) TD passes in a 72-45 shocker, blowing the doors off the Cougars in a sold out 50,000 seat Aloha Stadium. Chad Owens had a kick return TD and punt return TD, and set an NCAA record for return yards in a single game with 342. WR Ashley Lelie had a monstrous 8 catches for 262 yards and 2 TD.
But despite the 9-3 record, Hawaii wasn’t invited to a bowl game, which spawned the creation of the Hawaii Bowl in 2002. Rolovich ended the year with 3361 passing yards 34 TD 9 INT, 3rd in the nation in passing TDs.In his last 3 games, Rolovich had 20 passing TD with just 1 INT, arguably the best 3 game stretch by a player in Hawaii history. Ashley Lelie had 84 catches for 1713 yards and 19 TD, and was the 19th overall pick by the Denver Broncos in the 2002 NFL Draft. Backup QB Timmy Chang would go on to become the NCAA’s all time leading passer with 17,072 yards by 2004.
3. 1992 (11-2 overall, 6-2 WAC)
This isn’t the usual Hawaii team you’re used to. They ran the option. They were 2nd in the nation in rushing. The starting RB ran for more yards than the entire team passed for combined. It makes sense when you notice their 6th year offensive coordinator was Paul Johnson, future Navy and Georgia Tech head coach. The season opener featured a 24-21 win against Oregon in Autzen Stadium, following up with a 6-3 win over an Air Force team that finished 1991 in the top 25, and finishing the opening 3-week stretch with a 36-32 win over BYU, who was coming off 3 straight years of top 25 finishes. After a minor setback against Utah, Hawaii reeled off 4 straight wins to improve to 7-1 and be ranked #24, before losing to San Diego State and Marshall Faulk. Thanks to a 42-18 win over Wyoming, Hawaii clinched a share of the WAC title, sharing it with Fresno State and BYU, both of whom Hawaii beat. The regular season finished with a nice 36-23 win over Pitt, and then 27-17 over Illinois in the bowl. Hawaii finished with an 11-2 record, #20 ranking, and 3-0 record against Power 6 (7?) teams. RB Travis Sims set a Hawaii single season record with 1498 rushing yards, on a WAC-best 6.8 YPC.
2. 2006 (11-3 overall, 7-1 WAC)
And here we have the teams everyone knows about. The June Jones/Colt Brennan “throw it every down because you can’t stop us” offenses that turned kids like me into college football fans. A 1-2 start featured understandable losses at Alabama and at Boise State, who finished 13-0. Hawaii won 10 of their last 11, including a win over 8-5 Nevada, a 54-17 win over 9-4 San Jose State, three 50+ point wins over Idaho, Utah State, and Louisiana Tech, a 42-35 win over Purdue, and finally a 41-24 win over Arizona State in the Hawaii Bowl. Those wins, along with losses to Alabama away, a 10 win Oregon State, and an unbeaten Boise State, earned a #22 final ranking in my algorithm. In some ways, this team was better than their 2007 version that went 12-0.
Hawaii led the nation in scoring with 46.9 PPG, with the next closest team averaging just 39.7 (Boise State). There was a bigger difference between Hawaii and 2nd place than 2nd place and 12th place! QB Colt Brennan set an NCAA record for passing efficiency in a season and passing TDs in a season, completing 72.6% of passes for 5549 yards 58 TD and just 12 INT. Brennan finished 6th in Heisman voting and won the Sammy Baugh Trophy and WAC Offensive POTY. RB Nate Ilaoa was a 5’9 245 lb do-it-all freak of nature, rushing for 990 yards and 13 TD on 7.6(!) YPC, and caught 67 passes for 837 yards and 5 TD. For a 245 lb RB, he accumulated 1827 yards and 18 TD on 9.2 yards per touch! WR Davone Bess led with 1220 receiving yards, Jason Rivers was second with 1178, and Ryan-Grice Mullen (2nd in Hawaii career receiving TDs) added 770. All three had 10+ receiving TDs.
Hawaii had 17 punts all season, setting an FBS record for the least amount of punts per game with just 1.2. There were 5 games in which they didn’t punt a single time!
1. 2007 (12-1 overall, 8-0 WAC)
In 2007, a perfect storm of returning talent + easy schedule combined to help Hawaii complete one of the most magical regular seasons we’ve seen from a team. Hawaii went 12-0, with some games being too close for comfort (45-44 OT win over Louisiana Tech, 42-35 OT over San Jose State, 28-26 over Nevada), but ultimately ending with big wins over #17 Boise State and Washington. #14 Hawaii and #17 Boise State played late in the year for the outright WAC title, with Hawaii coming out on top 39-27, outgaining Boise by 200+ yards with 5 passing TD from Brennan. #10 Hawaii played #4 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, but the Bulldogs played like the best team in the nation that night, winning 41-10.
Brennan was invited to New York as a Heisman finalist, finishing 3rd. He completed 70.4% of passes for 4343 yards 38 TD 17 INT, and ran for 8 TD. Brennan finished his career as the NCAA’s all time leader in passing TDs with 131, doing so in just 3 years. Hawaii’s esteemed WR trio went off, with Ryan Grice-Mullen snagging 106 balls for 1372 yards and 13 TD, Davone Bess getting 108 catches for 1266 yards and 12 TD, and Jason Rivers catching 92 passes for 1174 yards and 13 TD. All 3 finished as Hawaii’s top 3 all-time leading receivers: Rivers with 3919 yards, Bess with 3610, and Grice-Mullen with 3370. June Jones was named WAC Coach of the Year and was a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year award.
2007 Hawaii nearly missed out on finishing as a top 50 Group of 5 team since 1983 according to my algorithm, but is an honorable mention.

Recently I’ve been realizing more and more how dependent I am on alcohol. I have these really good days or even weeks where I keep the drinking to a minimum and feel great. Even when I do a bit of drinking during these times, I feel that it is a negligible amount where it won’t affect me too much the next day so I can still go to the gym and focus on academic work. But then there are those few times every so often (maybe once or twice a month) where I find myself going too far. This is how it starts: I find an opportunity to drink (no schoolwork that weekend or I’m on a longer break period due to a federal holiday, just anything that opens my mind to the idea of cracking something open). It goes one of three ways from here, either I get tired and stop drinking and turn in for the night, drink until I am drunk and then go to bed, or I get past that wall and continue drinking and end up going over the top and doing unwise things that put myself or others at risk and also have a high potential to affect my relationships. I usually find that I don’t fall into the second or third unless I am around other people or talking to people long-distance. For a while, I thought ‘I’m drinking because the people around me are too’ but realized that that isn’t always the case. It doesn’t matter if they’re drinking or not, I’m a very social person and drinking for me has become something of a social activity even through phone conversations with people who may not be drinking at all. I used to rarely drink but over the last few years I’ve just been picking it up more and more. I believe one of the reasons for this is because of the environment I’m in. There are a lot of stigmas in my job field and, unfortunately, I’ve given into a few of them. One of which is the widely accepted consumption of alcohol. I asked myself at the beginning of this year ‘how much more am I drinking in comparison to myself four or five years ago’ (before I had this job) and it definitely opened my eyes to how I may have developed this dependence. Up until March of this year, I have been in a mostly lax work environment so the aftermath of my drinking habits didn’t feel super overwhelming in my day to day. However, fast forward to today and I’m in a very high stress environment now due to some major career changes that I’ve been passionate about chasing, yet extremely anxious about succeeding in. Now I’m feeling the affects of my drinking habits and I see the problems they cause and I want to just completely stop. But I find that I tell myself these excuses to continue, to pursue the opportunities to drink and that it won’t be “that bad”. Sure sometimes it isn’t, but the times that it is have greatly diminished my mental health. So recently I decided to seek therapy because some of the stresses of work were getting too high and juggling that with my drinking habits was simply not the way to succeed in my current goals. Through talking with medical professionals, they of course pinpointed alcohol consumption as a major stressor and advised me to not partake in it so often. They also referred me to a stress support group and that has been helping but it isn’t an AA support group or anything like that so I find myself just wanting to find a group or community of people who have struggled as I have (and still am) with alcohol. To conclude this rant, I’ve been trying to keep drinking down to a minimum, but even with this mindset, the minimum turns into “one more… one more… one more…” So here I am, seeing the folly of my ways, yet somehow in my head I do not feel compelled to change in earnest. I do drink less than I used to but I’m realizing that that isn’t the point of why I want to change, and that just drinking less isn’t going help me in the long run. I want to stop. I need to stop. Where do I start? Any advice is appreciated.

I tried sending her a request today even though I promised myself I wouldn't.
I hate how I'm with someone and she's with someone but I still want her in my life even after everything she did.
I'm getting therapy/advice/venting to others this is regarding other issues in my life by the way.
The only person I want to talk to is her, there's been no other. I told her how I felt, I told her she means a lot to me and I do want to reach out again but everything I do and say contradicts this.
How can someone get into your head like this, I'm trying to forget her social details so I can move on, I've tried blocking I always unblock her and them contemplating to add her back or not.
I'm going holiday on Monday to Spain, and I know I won't enjoy my time there because we was actually meant to meet up ay my place whilst my family go holiday and knowing that'll never happen....is it even possible to win her back?
I'm sat at work right now behind a desk typing this shit out because I care about someone who isn't ever going to care about me and I need to be content with that, but how....
I hope she's doing okay, I still love her and I hate that I still do. I'm not as strong as most people but like I said I do forgive her and I know this is stupid but I think I have to reach out when it's her birthday, I have to.
The fact she's cheated, ran to her ex and then got engaged to him shows i shouldn't even talk to her and yet, here I am acting up wanting something I can't have.
Yes my girl knows about her and yes her guy knows about me but I can't shake the fact the way she made me feel, I ain't never felt like this in a long time.
I'll reach out on her birthday which is in November 18th and I'll see if she wants to talk, we did try being friends again but we hardly even spoke. I feel like she just lost interest in me because she was just being blunt and keeping it short.
So why send me a request and wanting to call if you didn't even want to try and make a real friendship of this. I ain't never catching feelings again because those past few months I experienced after she cheated felt like hell.
Any advice on how I can stop feeling the urge to send her a request or even try reaching out to her..?

What's up wc5e! Back with more of my 5e Classic-ish+ campaign, this one is a one on one session with my Rogue player, Orfiz. As always, I'm stoked to share this with you all and love any feedback or questions.
Just like with Val's one on one for the Mistmantle questline, I wanted to really give Orfiz a good dedicated session that he could bring some cool moments back to the group with. This served as the perfect opportunity to paint a better picture of the political state of the kingdom without boring the other new players stiff or having them risk getting overloaded with exposition.
No pictures this time, this session was strictly a notebook, a dice tray, and some bourbon.

The Tl;Dr:

• Party questions NPCs in stockades entrance, finds that their bounty was a former stone mason that had turned to the Defias.
• Rogue connects with SI:7 and investigates Lady Prestor and Baros Alexston to get more info on the stonemasons' exile.
• Party is then directed to Westfall to collect a report from a deep undercover agent working to identify and take out Defias leadership.

The setup:

This was mostly a catch-up session for Orfiz since he couldn't make the stockades session itself. We ended up taking a few hours for some heavy RP, which was great because Orfiz's player generally doesn't lean that way during a normal session. It allowed for some awesome character moments and plot that could come organically from a player to the rest of the party next session. We got to dive more into Alterac being a suspicious faction and threat, and introduce Prestor in a low stakes way.
This isn't really mechanic heavy except for just some perception checks, lockpicking, and really leaning on the player to decide what threads he was going to follow and how. He got to play Stormwind P.I. and it was awesome.

The session:

The party emerges from the stocks and has a chance to question the NPCs in the foyer. The girl is revealed to be Hope Saldean, whom was attending the farmers market in the city on behalf of her family back in Westfall. When she saw Garrick being taken into the prison, she began cursing and throwing her produce at him. She had bad aim, so she hit the party and was taken into custody when the guards worked to quell the riot.
Orfiz questions Hope, all he could get out of her were that she thought they were in love and she can't believe that he'd fall in with the bandits. He moves to question Garrick, and gets the backstory of the masons being exiled from the city and labeled as criminals, so he had to pick up work on local farms to survive. He had a summer fling the prior season with the farmer's daughter while he was there that harvest, and she was convinced as young lovers tend to get, that he'd be back to whisk her off her feet and take her away from the mundane farm life. Seeing him with the red scarf draped around his neck sent her into despair.
The party collects the bounty reward and goes about restocking, grabbing some basic gear improvements from what's available, and finally collecting their estus flask health pots.
Orfiz uses this downtime to investigate Garrick's story about the masons being ousted from the city, and figures he could tap into the kingdom's spy network. His training at Ravenholdt in the ways of the rogue led him to discover markings in cant near the sewer they used to get past the riot by the stockade entrance. Makes sense - spies would want an easy incognito route directly to the prison.
In the tunnels beneath stormwind, he recognized some of the cant as sarcastic propoganda style "if you see something, say something" isms. He reached SI:7's HQ through the tunnel and was immediately greeted by blades to the face as he entered through the trap door. Hands up, he shrugged and said "if you see something... say something?" and the guards eased. As a gnome, he went to the nearest desk, knocked on the side of it to get the attendant's attention, and found himself talking to the man himself, Shaw.
Shaw lamented how things played out and how hard it's been policing the city and weeding out any dissidents or guild associates, as there had been another riot in the streets prior that had led to queen being struck and killed by a thrown rock from the crowd. He knew things didn't add up but didn't have the manpower or resources to investigate the matter, but he's been keeping a close eye on Orfiz and his companions since they first set foot in the city.
Orfiz's immediate reaction to that statement was to pull out some coin and set it on the desk... he "forgot" to pay their gate fee when they got off the deeprun tram. This got a hardy laugh out of Shaw and got his guard down, so he gave Orfiz the skinny: he knows something is up with the House of Nobles but he can't get near them while the King is on the warpath since the riots. Orfiz grabbed a parchment he'd looted off of Bazil, and Shaw tilted it at the candlelight to reveal a reflective type of invisible ink. Orfiz recalled this was a trick that his Ravenholdt pals had used to be able to communicate secret messages and have them readable in the faintest of light. But this was a trick that only worked with ink crafted from a rare orange flower only found in the Alteraci region...
Shaw curses that Lady Katrana Prestor is the diplomat from Alterac, and she's been too close to the King to question without him flying into a rage about the stonemasons. Orfiz volunteers to gather some intel, all Shaw could help provide is that she takes a route through the castle gardens on the way to her late committee meetings, he could catch her there.
He questions her in the garden as a "concerned constituent" of the city and hands her the bloody note (right?). He asks if she knows anything about it, she of course blows him off, and moves on to her budget committee meeting. He eavesdrops to hear her arguing against any treaties or restitution for the masons and digs her heels in.
Next stop was Baros Alexston, the patron noble house that had commissioned the stonemasons to rebuild Stormwind in the first place. The exterior was damaged, like it had been pummeled with rocks and dirt and even started on fire in a few spots. There were large door-spanning locks across his cellar access and front door, Orfiz was able to pick the cellar entrance and slink in unnoticed. Baros returned from his errands and Orfiz got to do the Nick Fury sit-in-the-corner-shadows-with-a-cigar thing. Baros was terrified, and looked exhausted, and his house was in complete disrepair. Baros burst out that he doesn't have anywhere to go and everyone wants to kill him, he can't even go back to his family stead in Westfall because the thugs have taken it over in a move that seemed very personal. Sweet, Next clue!
Orfiz returns to SI:7 and reports his findings. Shaw says he's got a man on the inside, but he's deep undercover and they have not been able to pull him out or even get his report. Since these guys have handled themselves well, and they're special deputies already, Shaw tasks the Orfiz and his companions to keep digging into this. They part ways with Shaw's praise, "you're short in stature, but you've got it where it counts. These are desperate times, and you know what they say, desperate times call for"
Orfiz interrupts "Half Measures". The party found their company name.

Up Next: Session 6 - The People's Militia

Hello all, want to share my experience in successfully getting a Swiss visa. Indian passport holder and a Permanent resident in the US. Had to apply for a Swiss visa to travel for business in August. Already had a spain visa from 2019. So did not have to appear for the appointment physically. Filled up the visa application form on the website directly towards end of April. Once I paid the visa fee, I got a link from them that allowed me to book an appointment. Knew I didn't need to appear physically and hence procrastinated and didn't bother to book an appointment till middle of May. Found out I had to travel to Canada, Mexico and India over last 2 weeks of June and across July. Panicked and found an appointment for 3rd August as a backup. Had a letter from current employer in the US confirming my need to travel, how much I make, my position etc. Got an invite letter from parent company in Switzerland and attached as well. Booked refundable tickets but no hotels since letters confirmed employer would pay for all expenses. Decided to send the documents by mail end of May and hope for the best. Ended up mailing the documents and passport on 23rd May to reach the consulate in Atlanta the next day. Then waited with bated breath.
A week goes and as expected don't hear anything. Didn't help that 29th was a public holiday here. Found out I had to travel on 14th for a meeting in Canada and would hence need the passport. Wrote an email to the consulate on 2nd June and let them know that I know the application is within the officially published timeline of 15 days but I would appreciate if they could expedite since I had to travel for an unplanned meeting. Got an automated response saying they would respond to any specific queries in 2 business days. Surprisingly got a response late in the day that they have my application and are processing it and would provide an update the following Tuesday or Wednesday. The following Tuesday they responded that they had approved it and that the passport would be picked up the same evening. Got it delivered the next day ie on 7th June. So total 14 calendar days and 9 working days. I was afraid that their instructions were clear that on return label and envelope "to" and "from" had to be my name and the mailing room attendant at my employer had put the consulate as "from" which made me wonder if that would be a problem. Thankfully no issues there. Had requested a multi entry visa for an year but ended getting a 3 month multi entry visa. No complaints there!
Hope this helps anyone waiting anxiously. I am convinced that working for a Swiss headquartered company was a large part of why they possibly expedited my application but who knows!

I’m going to try to keep this short, sorry in advance. Here are the details of our living situation: I own the home. I pay the mortgage and utilities, and have done all of the repairs and renovations myself. He rents two bedrooms and a bath, which are secluded from the rest of the house. Our agreement was 300$/mo, he kept the yard nice, and helped with projects (old house) For the record, we live in a college city that isn’t very well off but the col isn’t cheap. The next cheapest rent is 450 for a single room—I cut him a deal because he is a family friend and needed a place to stay. If he wasn’t here, I would use those rooms myself, instead of having my office in a corner of the dining room.
He has only been on time with rent maybe twice in the last year. I never faulted him for it, since I didn’t really need the money and I hate conflict.
He also never mowed the lawn the first year. At first he kept saying he’d go borrow tools from his dad but that never happened and they were mysteriously all “broken”. So I bought a mower and edger. The first mow, I told him I wanted to do since I was excited about the new stuff, which he used as an excuse for the rest of the year, saying I “liked to do it”.
Winter ended here a few months ago and I started mowing. I then dislocated my arm in an unrelated event and asked him to step up and do it. He said he would, and then waited another week before I pestered him some more to do it. Next week I tried to have a chill talk, telling him it needed done every week and I’d like him to pick a day so that I could go out that morning and clean up after my dogs. He agreed. Never picked a day. Three weeks passes. I mow each week. I bring it up again and he argues with me, saying it had only been a week, and look! The grass isn’t even that long. I told him I had mowed three times and he said “that’s too much, you’re crazy”. He and his friends started making fun of me about wanting a golf course lawn, even though I tried to explain why it mattered (on top of keeping the place nice, I have a handicapped Pomeranian who can’t walk in tall grass)
I wound up crying and called my sister, who was with his sister, who called him and chewed him out. In the next week he told friends and family who crazy and overbearing I was, that I made him mow 4 times a week, and that he’d only missed it one time. He started telling people that I should mow since I worked from home and “never did anything anyway”, as if a 24yo woman renovating a house from the 1800s and working 40-60 hours a week has more free time than a part time retail worker. He pulled the mental health card, saying how I don’t care that he’s going through the hardest time of his life. When it came out he hadn’t paid rent in months (his sister asked my mom, who I had vented to. I didn’t go telling everyone) he started in on how I made so much money, he shouldn’t have to pay rent.
On top of that, he blames everything that’s wrong on me. “I have to order food because RM won’t let me use the kitchen” I have a protein intolerance and asked him to stop cooking meat in my pans since he never cleaned them. I then bought him his own cast iron pan and seasoned it. “I can’t do laundry because RMs mom is always using the washer” I told him a year ago that my mom would be here on Sunday and Wednesday every week to use the laundry room that I paid to put together. His laundry day is Saturday (his choice) but he only ever tries to do it on Sunday. My mom always stops her load, puts his in, and then he goes out with friends so she finishes it and folds/puts it away.
I know he’s a boy, and they’re not typically the most responsible at that age. If it was just the irresponsibility, I think I’d be ok. But he has been talking about me behind my back, and his friends all act weird around me now. I have only heard what he told his and my sisters. I can’t stop feeling like everyone is making fun of me or calling me crazy, and I’m scared to address things with him again. When people get aggressive with me, I shut down. He said he’d mow yesterday, and he didn’t. I don’t think I’m wrong for wanting it done when he says it’ll be done, especially since I have to go out of my way to clean up before hand. He has not paid may rent in full, and I’m afraid to bring that up too since he keeps loudly complaining about asking his family for money. He has become like a little brother to me and I love him. We do holidays together and tell each other our problems. Part of me thinks getting kicked out and having to learn the hard way would be good for him, but I can’t imagine not having him. I just don’t know how to fix this with him.
Any suggestions on getting to an understanding?
TL/DR: my roommate was coddled by his mom and thinks I’m crazy for expecting him to pay rent and do chores. He has been making fun of me to my face and to others. I don’t know how to resolve the problem.

This particularly uninteresting Friday, with the outside temperature reaching up to 90 degrees (32 Celsius for my European friends) I decided to avoid cooking, and instead order something.
"How about Chinese?" My new roommate, Nick suggests. He moved in with me last week after my old roommate moved out due to some bad blood between us, but it's in the past now, I hope.
"Nah, they take too long to deliver, by the time it gets here it's already cold," I said as I scrolled on Reddit, not really looking for anything in particular. I glance up at Nick, who was looking at me.
"Mcdonalds then?"
I shake my head in response. "They always get my orders wrong." Nick sighs. "You're hard to please." I chuckle. "I guess so."
"What do you suggest we eat then?" He crosses his arms. I shrug in response.
He sighs again, this time deeper than before.
Something catches my eye on my phone, an ad for a new restaurant. Hell's Kitchen. It's actually in our small town. "That's creepy" I mutter under my breath.
"What's that?" Nick calls out from the kitchen.
"Nothing!" I call back. He walks back into the room, wiping his hands with a towel.
"It's just this conspiracy theory, how the government listens in on our conversations and then gives us appropriate ads." Nick raises an eyebrow.
"We were talking about ordering food, and I got an ad for this new food place in our town, Hell's Kitchen."
He plops down on the couch next to me and leans in to look at my screen. "Looks fancy."
I click on the ad, which takes me to their homepage. "Let's see what they have got."
I navigate to their menu page and we begin scrolling through each item.
"Hell wings.." Nick gulps down on his saliva. "I wonder how spicy those are." He absolutely loves spicy. "Evil fries, what kind of name is that? They just look like regular fries." I comment, each item has a unique name related to Hell.
"Pizza of darkness, that sounds good." Nick points out with his finger. I shake my head in disgust. "It has pineapples dude." He chuckles.
"Then how about Inferno Pizza? It's just spicy pepperoni." I shrug, "Maybe, definitely sounds better than pineapple."
"We could also get some tortured hamburgers." I point out to him.
"I don't feel like eating a burger.." Nick replies. "And you say I'm hard to please." He laughs at that, I laugh too.
After discussing a couple more options we finally settle on Pizza of Wrath. It's put together with pepperoni, bacon strips, and mushrooms, + a mild ghost pepper sauce.
"Is there a number we're supposed to call, or do we order online?" Nick questions as I begin looking for the phone number.
"Don't see an order online option, there must be a phone number listed somewhere on the website."
"Ah there! Found it!" I exclaim in excitement, my stomach rumbles. Nick chuckles. "Me too, me too."
After confirming what we're ordering with Nick, I dial the number. It only rings once before someone picks up. I wait for a moment, to let them introduce themselves, as all fast food places do, but there's only silence, so I speak first.
"Uh Hello, is this Hell's Kitchen? We'd like to order some food."
A deep raspy voice responds. "Yes, what would you like to have?"
"Okay, we'd like two Pizzas of Wrath, small Evil Fries, and two large cokes of Doom." I cringe internally having actually said all that out loud.
The voice waits a moment before speaking again, "Is that all?" I look at Nick for confirmation that I didn't forget anything, but he's preoccupied with giggling like a little girl. I'm not sure which one of us is more cringe.
"Yes, that will be all."
"Okay, it'll be delivered to you in a minute."
"Wait, I didn't give you my address!" I shout into the receiver, but it's already too late, they hung up. I sigh, and then redial. "The recipient you are trying to reach is currently not available, please try again at another time."
"What's up?" Nick questions, having finally stopped laughing. "They don't have the address, and now the number is disconnected? not available? What does that mean? I just talked to them a moment ago." I'm beginning to get irritated.
Both of our heads jolt to the front door as someone rings the bell. Then we both look at each other. "There's no way, right?" Nick asks. I stand up and begin walking toward the front door.
Looking through the peephole, I see a man dressed in a business suit, with dark short hair, holding a couple of pizza boxes and a small paper bag on top. His eyes are a deep red, I didn't even know such an eye color existed.
I take a deep breath, suddenly feeling nervous, and open the door. The man towers over me. He smiles, "Is this Jonah's and Nick's residence?" I gulp down a bunch of salivae, how does he know my name? Much less Nick's? I never mentioned it on the phone.
I nod in response. He smiles. "I have your food delivery here, my name is Lucifer."
A deep shiver goes down my spine, an incredibly uncomfortable feeling, it's like my body is screaming at me to run back inside and slam the door shut, that whoever is standing in front of me is highly dangerous.
"Why don't you come inside?" Nick suddenly appears beside me.
I shoot Nick a look, but he ignores me.
We both step aside to let Lucifer in.
The delivery guy takes a deep breath once inside and walks into the living room, placing the boxes and the paper bag on the small coffee table in front of the sofa.
I gulp and then speak, "How much do we owe you?"
He turns around and smiles at both of us. "Would you like to pay now, or after you die?" "After I die?" I stammered back at him.
"Yes, you'll sign a contract to pay after your death."
"I'll pay after I die," Nick says beside me, grinning. "Sounds fun."
"I'll pay now.." I respond. How would I even pay after I die? This sounds too sketchy. Nothing makes sense about this situation.
Lucifer nods and claps his hands. Suddenly, two folders with documents appear on the small coffee table, beside the food. He motions for Nick to come over, and snaps his fingers, a pen appearing between his fingers, which he hands over to Nick.
Nick looks excited as he takes the pen. Lucifer flips open the folder on the left. "Read through this if you want, otherwise you can sign here, and here." He points with his long finger to the bottom of the page.
"Jonah, want to come over to check your contract out?"
"My contract? I thought I'd be paying now." He nods. "Yes, you will be."
I walk over with shaky legs and look at the contract laid out in front of me.
Service Contract This contract is between the following parties; Contractor: Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness Client: Jonah Upon mutual agreement, the client will have 31 days to complete the following to pay for the services provided by the Contractor. 1. Consume the food that was delivered. 2. Introduce 3 friends to Hell's Kitchen. 3. Sever ties with the closest person to the client. 4. Murder a single person. Failure to comply with these terms will result in the client immediately relinquishing their rights to their soul.
What the fuck is this? A joke?
"Can't I just pay with cash?" I look up at Lucifer, he smiles and shakes his head. "By ordering our food, you agreed to sign either one of the contracts provided."
"What's the other contract then? How do I pay after I die?"
He nods to himself, "You'll work at Hell's Kitchen for 7 years, after that your debt will be paid off."
I swallow hard and take a deep breath. "I wish to pay after my death then."
Lucifer claps his hands together. "Excellent choice!" He exclaims a little too loudly.
A new contract appears before me.
Service Contract
This contract is between the following parties; Contractor: Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness Client: Jonah
Upon mutual agreement, the client will work at Hell's Kitchen for 7 years after they die.
Failure to comply with these terms will result in the client immediately relinquishing their rights to their soul.
How did I even get here? I just wanted to get some food...
"Done!" Nick exclaims excitedly, grinning from ear to ear, and hands the pen back to Lucifer.
He points the pen toward me, signaling for me to take it. "Ready to sign?"
"What if I don't want to sign either contract?" I ask, not wanting to sign either contract.
Lucifer sighs and places a palm on his face. "Refusal to sign either contract will result in your immediate extraction to Hell, where you'll stay till the end of time." His voice suddenly turned demonic, sending a chill down my spine.
I take the pen from his hand, and he retracts his palm off of his face and fixes his collar. I sign the contract with shaky hands.
"Excellent!" Lucifer exclaimed and then clasped his hands together, the contracts suddenly disappeared.
"I hope you enjoy your food." He comments and begins walking back toward the front door. "We will," Nick responds.
Once the front door shuts behind him, I collapse on the couch, beginning to shake.
Meanwhile, Nick opens up the paper bag and takes out his Coke, taking a sip.
"What the fuck just happened?" I question him.
"What do you mean? They delivered our food, nothing else happened."
I sigh. "Since I basically signed my soul away, I might as well eat what they brought." Nick nodded profusely and opened the pizza box.
In contrast to the scary experience of having to deal with Satan, the food tasted better than anything I'd ever had before.
So all that was yesterday, me and Nick haven't talked about it again. We did have a small fight this morning, he gave me a black eye, and I broke one of his legs, so he's in the hospital right now. I don't know what came over me, or him, but I was just so incredibly angry at everything, including him, and he seemed to be the same way.
I snapped out of it after I slammed a chair against his leg and heard a crack and then a loud scream.
The food was 100/10 in Hell's Kitchen, would highly recommend it. The price however was outrageously high. I can however still safely say that it was worth it, and I'm thinking of ordering again.

Hey everyone welcome to my first post on this subreddit where today we'll be discussing alternative users for the Omnitrix apart from Ben from many different shows and what their starting 10 aliens would be! You pick any character from any show whether it be on Nick, Cartoon Network, Disney or any other channel regardless if the show is for kids, adults, teens or for all ages just put the character you want the Omnitrix to find and put the first 10 aliens you would give that character the only rule is: don't make them too overpowered like for example giving them Feedback, Heatblast, Alien X and Atomix all on the same Active List so long as you do that you can use any alien used by Ben in the original series, Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, Omniverse and the reboot (that includes Gax) have a wonderful day and for reference we're using the prototype from the original series for the most part so yeah timeouts will be a thing you have to take into consideration

My partner and I just got back home to Stockholm after a lovely holiday in Finland. We loved Turku, and my partner hoped to get a Posankka cap — unfortunately we were tight on time on the last day (train back to Turku, ferry to Stockholm) and didn’t have time to pick one up.
Is anyone here visiting Stockholm some time soon, and willing to bring a Posankka cap in exchange for a beer, fika, or similar over here (plus the price of the cap, of course)? The caps are available from the souvenir shop in the kiosk on the south side of Kauppatori, and should be about €20.
