As a chronic user of Japanese twitter and reddit i want to give a piece of my mind and cover things that haven't been discussed much here. Sorry in advance for terrible english.
I see the question of 'did togashi write gon as a love interest of killua' is constantly brought up and causing debate in western sites(including this one) but the general consensus in Japan is that while killugon(or gonkiru) isn't necessarily an official ship, togashi is famously a gay-ish material writer and has a wife that writes gay comics so it would not come as a surprise.
This may sound like something to brush off, but hear me out- togashi's first work plagiarized a gay manga. YuYu Hakusho had gay characters and one of them was influenced by a character from Patalliro, another gay manga. Level E had a MTF trans character. He once pitched an idea for a comic that got rejected and the main cast consisted of gay and trans characters(google trouble quartet). And most importantly there are already canonically gay characters in hxh namely nanika and hisoka.
For some killugon shippers the scene in book 31 where hisoka confirms gon is killua's 最も愛している者(the person that he loves the most) has put a nail to the coffin. Therefore there is somewhat a hint towards a deeper relationship in togashi's original work besides Phantom Rouge and the 2011 anime(which both blatantly ship gonkiru). If this is insufficient there are of course other suspicious scenes i won't bother to list.
Personally I think it's up to your interpretation but it's safe to say togashi knew what he wanted the fandom to think or at least suspect.

Hi fellow freelancers; I am a 21-year-old entrepreneur who started freelancing as a software developer. I began my freelancing journey during my senior year of high school, lured by the promises of freedom and self-determination. Like so many others, I started on Upwork. From 2018-2020, my life was a whirlwind of unpredictable highs and lows - new projects, satisfied clients, delayed payments, sudden changes, and stiff competition.
In my sophomore year of college in 2020, I discovered
Angel.co through a fellow freelancer. Intrigued by the possibility of broadening my horizon beyond Upwork, I took the next step every freelancer yearned for and established my software development agency, finding our niche in offering our services to startups (at this point, I had formed a team with some buddies I met on Upwork who lived in India and Pakistan). I found this work fulfilling and began to experience a taste of comfort and stability.
As I'm sure you all know, Upwork does not have a good reputation for keeping freelancers' best interests in mind. From stories of increased rates to fraudulent projects, I started to get sick of seeing Upwork issues in my LinkedIn feed. It reminded me why I left that platform in the first place. About 6 or so months ago, a close friend of mine was working on a long-term 2-month project when she saw her life flash before her eyes. After completing the project, she was contacted by Upwork, letting her know that the $2,000 earned for that project was being taken back out of her account. She noticed the negative account balance before Upwork even messaged her, making it worse. She was left with no word on what happened or why the money was taken out for hours before she got a message. One would think Upwork would do the right thing and compensate her in some way for her lost wages, but no. Countless attempts to get some payback, all to no avail.
Luckily in her case, she has great family and friends who were able to help her with rent and bills for that month, but this incident flipped a switch in my brain and made me realize there is a major issue in today's freelancing world where the majority of us rely on these freelancing platforms and lack the knowledge of how to sell ourselves beyond these platforms. What if someone less fortunate needed that money to pay that month's rent or buy groceries for the following week? They leave us vulnerable, and when trouble arrives, they do nothing but sit back in their beach chair and watch the hysteria unfold while sipping on a pina colada. Upwork acts like they are untouchable, and they may be right now.
Upwork has so much power over freelancers because most need to figure out how to make sales offline and don't know where to start. More than anything, freelancers need a space that can empower us with the skills and knowledge to make a living selling our services beyond the constraints of job boards; and to have our voices heard on the public stage. We as freelancers need to take the initiative to prove to Upwork and these other platforms that freelancers don't need them to make a living and that they can't just ignore us.
If Upwork was to say, "Hey guys, we are upping our fees from 10% to 20%", yes, everyone would be up in arms. But the community would have no choice but to keep using the platform. I searched online to see if anyone was putting something together to help with this. And as far as I could see, there's nothing. No courses to help educate people on how to sell themselves in the real world, the world that exists beyond the confines of Upwork. What I did find a ton of, though, were these influencers with their fancy microphone and studio claiming that they would teach me how to become "Level 1 on Fiverr" or "How to Make Six Figures on Upwork." I hope you all have a good laugh whenever you see these as I do; anyone making 6 figures on Upwork will happily keep whatever they did to get there under wraps, or at least not charge you $100 to learn their 'secrets.'
By this point, if you are still reading, maybe this will inspire one of you to create a platform for us freelancers to help teach the community how to sell themselves. Sales are freaking hard, and when I started with my agency, it was an everyday battle of doubt before I connected with a mentor who could help. They showed me many ways to find clients, LinkedIn, mom-and-pop shops in your community, referrals, cold outreach, etc. These aren't as easy as logging into Upwork and copying and pasting the same proposal to each job you see, but it's sure to give you more satisfaction when you build out your sales pipeline and are booked for the next 6 months, no worrying if someone will accept your proposals this week. Oh, and this is good to add. In the past 3 years of finding work outside of Upwork, I have never had an experience where a client could get away without paying for labor, nor ever had the experience of some intermediary changing their service fees from 5% to 10%.
I'm rereading my post and noticed how longwinded it is; guess I had to vent that all out somewhere. I'll stop my rant here, but please share your methods for finding work outside of these platforms too. Hopefully we can create a bit of a chain in the comments to help guide others who are feeling the strain of being reliant on these platforms for their livelihood

I just wanted to create a simple straightforward guide for what to do with the gear you find, what to save, what to spend resources on etc. I spent a lot of time stressing over this, and after a bit of research both online and in-game, this is what I ended up doing, and did not regret it. This is meant to help more casual players cope with decision paralysis on what to do with gear and crafting.
First, if you don't have the detailed item stats option turned on, go into your gameplay settings and enable it.
Gear is divided in 6 tiers. The tier of the gear determines the minimum and maximum possible roll values on an individual stat. For example, if an item has +Dexterity, a tier 6 has both a higher minimum and maximum possible roll for that stat than a tier 5. The tier is determined by the Item Power defined below the name of the item. There's really only two relevant tiers, in my opinion.
Tier 5 - aka Sacred items - Item Power > 625 - Found only in Nightmare.
Tier 6 - aka Ancestral items - Item Power > 725 - Found only in Torment.
I say that the rest are irrelevant because they constantly go out of style, and aren't super important for being able to defeat Veteran difficulty. Sure, you'll want to always be using the best gear you find, and you'll definitely want to acquire a few aspects that are needed for your build, but beyond that don't worry about upgrading stuff or getting every recommended aspect for your build.
If you find perfect rolls on an aspect, I recommend saving it to imprint onto Sacred gear when you get to Nightmare. Why not save perfect rolls for ancestrals? Because sacred and ancestral items can roll a higher maximum stat on aspects as well, to where a perfect aspect you find on a legendary pre-Nightmare will not be as good as the same aspect found on an Ancestral Legendary in Torment. Therefore, it's safe to spend those to give yourself a (often needed) power boost to be able to take on Nightmare.
Once in Nightmare, collect Sacred's for every slot. Take your time, find stuff with relevant stats, and once you have them imprint them with aspects you need for your build. Your gear will slowly come together as you work your way up to 70 for Torment. Honestly, I had most of my pieces already by level 55. Once you've settled on a piece to get you to Torment, you should upgrade it at least some levels. Just pay attention to your resources for doing so and use your judgement if it's worth it to you or not.
That's about it, as that's where I am at in my journey currently. Feeling a lot better about the mechanics, and having loads of fun. Excited to get to Torment and start working on my final tier of gear!

I recently started going to my LGS for EDH, and I have found that I need a precon-level deck to play at tables where some folks only have a precon. Currently, all of my decks outpace precons by a decent margin, so I want to add an appropriate level deck to my deck box.
I really like the concept behind the Legend's Legacy [[Dihada, Binder of Wills]] precon, but I also have a number of legends and other cards in these colors that I would like to add. I want to be able to add in fun cards that I have been looking for a home for but don't fit in my current decks (like [[Breena, the Demagogue]] or [[Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant]]) without significantly increasing the deck's power level.
To this end, I am looking to come up with a set of deckbuilding restrictions to allow me to modify a precon without making it stronger. Here are a few ideas I have brainstormed:
- Maintain existing splits of card types (e.g. Lands, Artifacts, Creatures, Sorceries, Instants, etc.)
- Maintain existing splits of card effects (e.g. Draw, Removal, Ramp, Anthems, etc.)
- Maintain existing average CMC - All swaps must be CMC neutral
- Maintain existing cost - All upgrades are $$ neutral
- No tutors - Goes without saying IMO, but I don't want all the replies to be about cutting tutors
- Only add cards from existing collection - no finding the "perfect" cards for the deck
- No Moxfield / online deckbuilder to playtest, analyze, and tune deck after making swaps
- Limit card swaps to a certain number per times the deck is played (e.g. 2 swaps per LGS night)
(Note: I would not be looking to do all of the above, these are just examples that I could choose one or more of)
What deckbuilding restrictions would you put in place to maintain a precon power level while swapping out cards?

2023.06.10 19:40 Realistic-Cap-7635 Personal reflection on the game, and how it could be better
SAs someone who has:
- Completed all quests
- Completed Badum quests
- Unlocked Everything (Factions all 20)
- Have 285/285 with gear and guns
- Have around 8m - 10m Kmarks
- Am at best average at straight up PvP, most of my success is from playing smart and cautious (making moves at the right time, rotating and repositioning in fights, coordinating with my team, counting shots, etc)
These are the following things that I have observed about the game, but more specifically after patch 3.4:
- Most of my time playing the game is spent PvPing in duo and trio squads, helping out some of my friends do their quests, or just going around solo gathering cables for letium drills, doing data drives for dungeons, or farming pistons and aluminum for oil, or just doing jobs for scrips
- Having 10m sometimes but nowhere to spend it on since my stash is perpetually full means that I have to sell perfectly fine guns such as Flechettes and Advocates to buy Kors and Brutes just to keep my money down so I can pick more stuff up to sell and not waste K-Mark rewards from jobs.
- There has been a significant rise in cheaters after the patch. Before the patch, there were at best 1 cheater every 4 or 5 raids. Now it seems that there are cheaters almost every other raid, and raids without cheaters are either empty or full of white gear guys doing what white gear guys do.
- Dungeons somehow outclass Lab Keycard rewards. I understand that they are not the same thing, but I have over 800 hours this season, not once have I found a Lab Keycard. Good thing I opened the Lab keyroom just before it got nerfed.
- Due to all the end-game content being around the north-western part of Crescent Falls, the south-eastern part of the map is empty. The only people I ever find there are either white gear guys questing, or cheaters who ape for my brute that ran from Starport Warehouse.
- Matchmaking is still not fixed. I still get trios in my Crescent Falls/Tharis raids despite being a solo. (I literally see their drops, no they are not teaming)
- Before the patch, I had to forge around ~125x before completing the 10 Slags I need for Badum. After the patch, I have managed to get 5 slags in less than 20 forges, and got 2 slags back to back just a few raids ago. The drop rate may be slightly higher than intended, but the sample size of my personal experience may not reflect the actual statistics.
- Tharis is dead. As someone who actually enjoys Tharis Island, it's frustrating to have my favorite map nerfed to the ground that no one ever comes there anymore except for some white gear warriors looking for a comeup or just mining Tharis Iron, or those who are there to farm slags. It's a shame, because currently, Tharis is the only map that is actually almost free of any cheaters because of the level requirement to unlock the map in the first place(Most cheaters get banned before unlocking it, and the cheaters that actually play on Tharis are most likely retail cheaters meaning they are legit players but decided they needed an edge to play the game)
- I've been randomly getting disconnected from the raid, with my gear just vanishing, then immediately dropping back into the same raid naked. Sometimes, this happens over and over again, until I can find respite from a stranger who mercy kills me or until I exit to station which I usually do.
Now what exactly can be done about the game? I will enumerate suggestions that directly mirror the points that I have made above.
- The end game loop is absolutely terrible (wow, 103,127th time this has been said on the sub, i know). The game is absolutely in need of some content especially for end game players. PvPing is absolutely the only real thing that can be done, and while that is fun, why not just play other shooters that go straight to the point like Apex? Jobs are mostly tedious and annoying to do, and it does need either an update or a rework. A global leaderboard would also be cool, as we saw several people actually playing the game just to get on the howlerbuster boards.
- The money cap seems like a band-aid solution to a bigger problem. With the current economy of increased ammo and repair costs, more items added into the item pool, and no more permanent insurance, below average players are having a hard time keeping a steady economy in the station whereas successful players still are successful. I personally never really had a hard time hitting the money cap over and over again, the harder thing to do is actually keep my stash from overflowing. I thought the approach to season 3 was to make it easier for newer players to get into but the current system hard gatekeeps casuals while barely doing anything to sweats. Something they could do is just to add a high-roller lobby where you cannot insure gear, and the lobbies cost Kmarks to drop into or even aurum, and is locked with gear requirement so you know you will be fighting people in gear. This also means that if you die, you do not get anything back, and that what you paid for to get into the raid is also gone. (An immediate effect of this implementation might be that we would get almost empty lobbies in regular and high roller instances due to the players being further split into separate buckets but this change alone would bring back so many of the sweats who stopped playing the game back, and the casuals could actually just finish their quests)
- Nothing to say about cheaters really, but a few hours into the patch, guys were flying everywhere once again despite " 3.4.0 containing various backend improvements and tweaks to the anti-cheat formula and Yager adding new systems to the game to help detect and prevent the kinds of cheats we have found to be the most common ". I understand that 10 devs vs 1000 cheat makers is a tough battle, but certain measures to make reporting and banning cheaters can be done. Adding a death cam that can only be played after either the whole squad is dead, or the enemy squad is dead is one thing that can be doable, many other games have this feature. And before anyone starts going, "well, you can't do this because you can drop in the same lobby if you drop back down again and now you know where the enemy is", just make it so that players have a 15-minute cooldown per instance of the map which aligns with the time it takes for gear to despawn. That way, even the information you receive from the death cam is irrelevant 15 minutes later, and is only really useful for reviewing deaths and as evidence for cheating. Sure, you can get a lucky 5-headshot beam with a Kor on someone but 12x in a row in the same raid? That's an easy ban if anything.
- Key rooms are massively underwhelming right now. Community Room? Here's a green creature mod for your smg. What's that purple keycard you got there? - Oh, it's an Overgrown Keycard. That's 3 Circuit Boards, 21 Basic Light Ammo, and a white backpack. I've gotten 5,000 Overseers Office Keycards, but 1 Basecamp Armory Key, please explain how this is possible? Back in Season 1, key rooms were heavily utilized(as they should). Base Camp Luggage Room was always open, so was Armory in Jungle. Garage in Greens? Good luck. Hell, even Community Room was worth the trek because Loose House was there as well. I've since sold all my keycards early into the season as I have found it utterly useless and I have better luck picking up high tier weapons and armor just running around Tharis Island. Something clearly should be done here, the Lab Keycard during the start of Season 3 was perfect - it was hard to get up there, it's an extremely rare card, and it can be only used once. The loot was god tier, but that's assuming you can evac with it. And almost everyone only really got one shot at opening it, but I suppose that was too good because now all you ever really get is 3 PKR Maelstroms and a blue set. Sidenote: Puzzle Rooms are also really bad. They really are only for the reactors, and the weapon crate is a bonus, but the process of completing the puzzle, especially solo, is way too much of an ask for so little of a reward. The only puzzle really worth doing is the one by greens prospect since it can be done solo in 15 seconds, but even then you get shot as soon as you start doing it.
- South-eastern side of the map of Crescent should get some love. Add something there that would actually make players want to go there, or at least make them decide which side of the map they should go to. As of now, all the high-gear players go Warehouse/Pinnacle due to the large open areas which make it ideal for fights, versus the thick jungles of Favela that has dense foliage and full of cliffs where you die if you slip off of. Sure missions take you there, but everyone eventually completes their missions and its off to Pinnacle most of the time from hereon out. Buffing Community Key will not pull players there since keys are single use, and I understand the dungeon is there but let's face it, not many people enjoy doing the dungeon in the first place, be it easy as it was back then or how it is now.
- Fix matchmaking. That is all. Please.
- Whatever this is, keep it the way it is. Don't find out oh, the drop rate was increased to 30% instead of increasing it by 3% and reverting it back.
- Add gear lock to Tharis. That's it, plain and simple. There should be some risk to Tharis, and on the opposite side of the stick, there should also be reward. What is the point of ammo being more expensive, repairs being more expensive, money being harder to keep, if I can just keep dropping back in to Tharis with just a white backpack, mine for 5 minutes and evac with 30-50k worth of Kmarks in Tharis Iron? Imagine doing that for an hour, that's an easy 300k right there. Just about the same amount you get from completing a letium drill, but with no investment, no risk, just sacrificing your sanity for the sake of money. As it stands, in order to add 5% less fauna damage and 5% less damage from storm strikes to my shield and stamina regen during storm on my backpack, I have to fight 6 free loadouts ratting in and around Tharis without gaining anything yet risking everything.
- I understand ping limit, server issues, yada yada yada. Just make it so if you go poof, let our teammates pick our shit up. PLEASE GODDAMNIT. This is so dumb. I've lost countless loadouts to this dumb mechanic of being booted out of the raid, and now just to add insult to injury I get dropped back in but naked over and over again. What spaghetti code is this where you fix one thing and 12 other things become broken. Just please drop our shit, let some rando pick it up and have a nice feeling picking up a kor and purple set. I don't care. JUST DROP OUR SHIT PLEASE and thank you.

I'm still early in the game, just level 17. I was kind of making up my own build, but wasn't at all satisfied with the damage output, so I went looking online for advice.
I found this, and put together that first build as far as I can at level 17 (up to smoke grenade without the upgrades), and I have to say it's pretty awesome so far! Now my rogue handles crowds pretty well and the damage output is much more substantial than what I had going on. Previous bosses took minutes to defeat, but with this build they go much faster, just a minute or two. Dash is a real game-changer, as is Twisting Blades itself. Does anyone here have thoughts on this build, or would you suggest improvements or something different? Thanks!

What I got: - 30 season levels
- 21 chests, including 2 exotic weapon chests (one of which is supposed to be a weekly quest, the other may be a season pass)
- Expert skill points 40+ (When I heard this game will have a new mode, I was very happy, thinking that could be a good mode just like survival mode in TD1, so I created a new account)
That's all the rewards. Nothing. And very little fun. And if you quit this mode, the progress will clear to zero! Take loop 40 as the end point,It will take at least another 10 hours to play. Starting from 15th loop, there will be 3 waves of enemies in each room.
Overall,
the cost of failure in this model is too high, resulting in high levels of frustration and
very little positive feedback. (Game crash ,network,PC reboot ETC, and u can not save ur progress!)
Even in the late stage, the player's skills, talents,every are build up in good shape, there is not much fun.
Because similar experiences, or even better experiences, can be played in normal mode, even more comfortable, such as hunter suits and strike suits.
If you want to play this mode, I also give you some tips:
- Killing Nemesis is just the beginning
In the first 5 loop: - select hard mode to get money
- Talent focus on armor recover, by killing enemies, by critical hits, by headshots. These are important !!!!!!
- Pay attention to the type of weapon, especially handguns. In firt 8 Loops, you will need a lot of ammunition.I would say ALMG+ M870/Super 90+A pistol with a medium rate of fire(not 93R)
- Better have a super 90 or M870. And a control skill to control Nemesis,so u could shoot
From Loop 6: - Choose mid mode,because for solo players, the enemy in Hard Mode are too many , and have faction changes.
- After killing a Boss,improve ur fire and armor one by one,Until you start to feel that enemy can smash your armor every ez.
- Talent focuses on increasing critical chance and critical damage and head shot damage
- At Loop 7~8 u will meet Nemesis
- Nemesis needs to use skills to control it and not shoot with it too much,if u did ,u die.
- It seems to use the same weapons and skills as you, but the damage is much higher.
- I'm using the foam skill, taking control and using shotguns and AR to kill depending on distance.
After killing Namesis - You can continue to play the cycle, because this is when you start to strengthen, from a toddler to a teenager.(装备开始成形)
- After 15 loop, basically everything you can buy is sold out, and money should be re-roll talents, focus on armor recovery and output.
- Start with loop 16,You will encounter elite enemies with yellow blood stripes and thick armor
- Later on you'll also encounter "special enemies" using rotating machine guns, grenade launchers, shields and nail guns, and have super armor,you know. (My English is not good)
- All kinds of robots and drones, with purple and gold blood stripes.
- Hazard protection will become important. More and more elite enemies, their grenades will burn, lasers will blind, foam will control.and u will die easily.
- You should be ready to run and shoot, like COD,don't stay in the cover when there are too many enemy,You'll be surrounded
- Choose a single shot high damage weapon, I switched from M4 to M60, M870 works very pefect. The pistol was changed to the revolver with the best single shot damage and good bullet speed
- Because of the talent, I didn't need to reload.
- Speed of fire is provided by talent
- Use the M870 and foam skill to try to block the door in each room
- The revolver is suitable for medium and long range and weak spot destruction
Each time you enter the room: - Choose a safe corner according to the terrain
- ambush the door where the enemy appears+next to ur safe corner.
- Try to kill these enemy at the start of each wave, so that half of the entire room is safe for u in next 20 seconds. During this time, fine enemy's position. Take them one by one, using run-shoot(just like cod) if necessary, to avoid being redefended by the remaining enemy.
- Try to get back to the safe zone before you kill the last enemy in the wave.
- High ground usually has advantages, but some maps are longer, and high ground is not a safe place, in this kinf of map ,you need to go to low areas, and try to block doors and clear a safe zone.
- Killing bosses is easy because of the size of the map.
- In DC u can buy Elite enemy protection upgrades, this seems to be unique, no talent in speed Descent can provide.
- I don't upgrade my skill strength at all, after killing a BOSS, I increase my armor depending on how easy it is for the enemy to crush my armor. if i think i am safe ,i will upgrade firepower
Ohter:
- The best weapon I've ever seen is blue, and since Loop 18, I've barely adjusted my weapon or skill. Because they haven't changed at all.
- Talents in game mode provide 50% critical hit, the remaining 10% need to be purchased upgrade in DC.
- Max Critical hit damage is 100% with a talent. I don't know if it stacks up with other talents.
- Revivals seem to have a limit, after I get knocked down (0 armor, 0 health, agent down), something called Revivals Token appears in the store and I buy it every time. Because I rarely get knocked out, unless it's a series of grenades, or a packet loss on the Internet.
- At the end of the 20+loop, my main weapons were revolvers and M870, and always have enough ammunition. About 40 rounds of shotgun ammunition left before i buy ammo.
- The M870 is too fast to clear enemies at close range, much, much faster than the M60 and AR.
- The LMG has the effect of suppressing the enemy, if the enemy just comes out of the door, and you keep shooting, the enemy will "freeze" for a few seconds, which is a good opportunity. However, this was too ammo consuming, so I only use LMG in map with supply stores and BOSS battles.
Overall, I wouldn't spend another 6 hours playing this mode Since Namesis can only be killed once, the rest of the game is not much fun, your equipment and skills are grow up and become perfect, but the challenge(Namesis) is gone.
Changes I hope UBi could make: - Shorten the process. It takes too much time right now.
- Or allow the player to save progress at every 5 loop, just like Peak Tower mode.(not 10 loop that take tooooooo much time)and allow restart from loop 1 without quit to DC。

- Nemesis can reappear , fight it again in loop 20,30,40 and get a exotic weapon chest.
- Exotic talents can add up/stuck up level.
- More permanent upgrades available
- Provides suit talents after loop 20, such as hunter,strike
- GUI imrpove
- Allows players switch Key1 and Key2 positions for weapon and Q/E for skills.
- Reduce the negative feedback caused by death, for example, starting with 11 loop, each loop allows the player to revive once. But lose a certain amount of money or drop 1 level for a random talent. Come on, the Internet will disconnect, computers will crash, games will crash. These are all negative gaming experiences caused by unexpected circumstances. Since we can't save progress all the time, can we make a baseline protection mechanism?
- Add more talent and more solt for talent.

The current state of Fortnite is something that I personally am not a fan of. People say go find a different game, and to be honest there’s a point to that. The problem with that for me is that I have a connection to this game. It’s something that I’ve been experiencing for so long and put time into for so long it’s hard to let go of all that time. I grew up with it so it’s hard to say goodbye. People say you’re blinded by nostalgia, you’re right, I can objectively say that Fortnite chapter 1 was objectively not as good of a game as more recent seasons. I still loved it and miss it of course but it wasn’t as developed, not as polished, and was just generally a little plain. A lot of people like that and I get it, simplicity can be a positive. Chapter 2 for me was peak objectively. I have no nostalgia for Chapter 2, I don’t get emotional when I think of it or think ahh the good old days. That’s how I feel about chapter 1, which I miss but don’t want back that game, I want back that time, and that won’t happen and I don’t think that it should, it was an inferior game. But chapter 2 comes around, that chapter is literally just a good game. Not an era I miss, I don’t care about the era, I miss the actual software of that game. Balanced loot pool, not an absolute flood of collabs. The new skins, while personal opinion, were bangers who fit in to the game and were actually pretty sick. I’m not a huge fan of sbmm so that’s my one problem with it. Fast forward to now. The map is too full of filler and crap that I don’t care about, the map is built for zero build. I know many people like zero build and they play it and they’re happy. That’s great and I’m glad for you that’s just not what my experience is. I like the older maps and think they were fun and great and they didn’t have a bunch of useless crap everywhere like they do now to cater to zero build players. I miss the old guns of chapter 2. Grappler guns, launch pads, helicopters. And the guns in general were just great. You didn’t have OP mobility items like you have recently . And you didn’t have a lack of mobility because you had other not op items that you could keep in your inventory that weren’t on the same level as the new op movement items of the last seasons. Arena had siphon and that’s a great thing too. The mythic items were not overly present in my opinion, there were only one of each on the map and that’s what’ made them special and not absolutely op. Yeah they might’ve been a bit too good but I didn’t care because there were just one and they were fun. Fortnite has gone downhill and it’s not because I’m nostalgic. I also asked what people thought Epic games care about and that they care about only money. That makes sense to me, but a lot of people share my opinion that the game has gone downhill, none of my friends even play this game anymore, it used to be that every single one of my friends was almost always online, it’s not because they’ve gotten jobs or gotten busy just no one likes this game because of the way it’s changed. How does epic stand to make more money because they’ve made their game worse and worse. Wouldn’t it make sense that people who are happy with the game and into it spend more money. I don’t spend money on the game anymore. Seems like all they care about is zero build, but most players don’t play zero build. Thoughts? What are changes you’d support, things you miss. Also, please don’t hate on me, it’s just what I think, I know people disagree with me and that’s fine, I don’t have a problem with other peoples opinions about a game, so please don’t have a problem with mine.

I just keep getting distracted. I love the dungeons. I’ll do them solo, then again with my friends. Even though I think it’s absurd someone would ask a barbarian for help with collecting taxes or finding a brother, I still can’t resist helping them.
Anyone else in the same boat? Seems like the other players in the shared world around me are around level 20.

My partner has been sick or recovering from a surgery for the better part of a year. While he still contributes a significant amount financially, I am almost entirely responsible for keeping the house in order. It is way too large of a house for one person to be doing it alone.
Most of the activities we do together are dependent on his physical and emotional capacity at any given time. I understand that he’s going through a hard time and I have to sacrifice or postpone some of the activities I would like to do, but it’s starting to feel unfair.
The majority of the time we watch anything, it’s one of his shows. As soon as I ask to watch one of mine, he reminds me we already watched something of mine and it will be one episode of a 30 minute show. He always wants to watch movies and I am careful to not ask for too much by only asking to watch short tv episodes.
Now he also asks me to watch videos with him online. It’s essentially like he’s surfing the internet alone watching funny videos and he expects me to watch with him with the same level of engagement. Then when I say something to him, he either doesn’t hear me at all or turns around to say “what?” and it gets me frustrated.
What can I suggest for sedentary activities together that are actual quality time?
