I have never used one, my first smartphone was blackberry, then I bought iPhone 3GS and then iPhone 6s which I’m using till now, changed two batteries, he is holding like a champ and can’t do me a favor and die already lol, obviously 6s is obsolete at this point.
I don’t have budget to buy flagman for now so I’m choosing between new midrange and used last year phones preferably. AND ITS REALLY HARD LOL,
I watched a ton of YouTube videos and android phones is a mess, no offense. I can’t wrap my head there are so many options.
So to the main point - my priorities are 1) nice screen, bigger than my current 6s 2) good battery life 3) as stable software as possible without glitches and overall fluidity 4) camera. I never play games, only media consuming and travel photos My options in my country are: Used pixel 6 - 325$ Used pixel 7 - 450$ Used s21 plus - 350$ New pixel 6a - 350$ New a54 - 400$ Used s21 ultra - 460$ Used s22
My budget 350-400$, I could probably toss another 50$ if there is really cool phone to buy. And I don’t want any chinese phones like xiaomi, oppo etc.

So my(25m) gf(21f) of about 3 months has revealed her sexual history without my asking. To set the scene, we are both from middle class, suburban, run-of-the-mill WASPy families. No traumatic upbringings, great parents, etc. Anyway, she asked my body count, which is relatively low (6) because of some LTRs, and I’ve never been a guy who sleeps around. Anyways I have recently bought a small amount of GME to trade and make some cash as prices fluctuate to increase my overall holdings. (yes bad I know)
So as earnings were due after market Wednesday, and price was going up, I threw a sell order way out of the money in case things got really spicy. As far as I can see looking at historical data (yahoo) they didn't with the day high being $26.55.
So how did my order get filled during regular trading hours (before 4 pm EDT) above $28?
Dark market? or Internal fill? Any ideas? I have screenshots if mods want proof.

Hey guys, I have neen trying to update the firmware on my dd pro for some time now and everything I get this message saying to switch to bootloader mode and click "connect" button, I press and hold the power button on the dd for 8 seconds and it does nothing, just a blue light blinking. I searched online and cant find anything on this besides to try and un plug the usb on the dd then reconnect which does nothing. Im currently on V 1.1.5.5 The base still works if I unplug the power and restart. Not sure what I am doing wrong, if anyone has a fix for this pls let me know

I just want to preface this by saying that I know very little about psychology and the DSM-5 outside of my own issues and struggles with what I believe it to be CPTSD after many years and types of abuse that I’m not going to go into. I’ve had a grand total of 2 therapy sessions and haven’t been diagnosed with anything at the moment. Feel free to correct me if anything I say here is wrong.
I find there to be several large glaring problems with the concept of personality disorders.

• Calling them personality disorders is a term that’s almost bound to engender shame. Its labelling your whole personality as the trauma reactions you’ve learned as coping/survival mechanisms and other remnants of the abuse. It’s failing to see that people have personalities underneath all of their trauma, but even more importantly that these personalities CAN be unveiled over time, as is shown time and time again. Healing is possible. Labelling someone with a personality disorder is completely giving up hope of them ever changing and reversing their negative thought patterns. I can imagine it feels like being marked as a specimen in a test tube for further analysis, not understood as someone who’s deeply wounded and needs time and resources to heal.

Moreover, even if it doesn’t cause shame internally, there’s no doubt that it’s a socially shameful label to have. I’ve seen many people on here talk about how mentioning that you have NPD, ASPD, or similar disorders is enough for others to assume you’re abusive and a danger to society.

• The idea of people fitting neatly into boxes of all encompassing “personality” disorders is almost laughable. Everyone’s experiences are different, and while there are bound to be similarities in how trauma affects people, I don’t see how its possible to neatly categorise them into 10/12 bins. Does anyone actually fit into one of these categories? Based on my own experience, I can see myself having PPD. Im constantly nervous that people are going to harm me physically or emotionally, even those I should trust most. However, I could also believe I have NPD. From a young age I had delusions of grandeur, and would frequently tell myself that I was better than everyone else around me. Sometimes my empathy disappears completely. But I also seem to nearly every symptom of OCPD. I could probably draw similar parallels between myself and nearly every personality disorder there is. Maybe I’m the exception? But I feel like most people don’t magically fall seamlessly into one of these categories.
  
• Let’s say everyone did fit neatly into these boxes, somehow. What tangible benefit would it even hold? It’s not like sticking a deeply socially-shamed label on yourself is going to help anything. In an ideal world I could see it being useful for finding a support community, specialised therapist, or easily explain to others what you’re struggling with, but I’m doubtful any of this actually happens.

Posted a while back about my bike getting hit in a parking lot, was asked for status updates. Ask and ye shall receive bitches.
Since the local PD has no qualms with dragging their feet, I have no qualms with dragging their reputation (or lack thereof) through the mud. Honolulu PD is notorious for not really giving a shit about almost anyone or anything. Fortunately, they did go right to the lady’s house who hit my bike - new Mercedes, color me surprised. But they STILL don’t have any update on the case. She claimed she didn’t see me, they took a statement from her and got back to me with the info about 2 months later.
My insurance, which is only liability, said they won’t cover damages. Before any of you give me shit, the logic is sound: if I get in a real wreck with my bike, I’m probably not walking away, so why pay more than $100 a year? Luckily, progressive went after the drivers insurance on my behalf, still need to call them and ask wtf they plan on doing to fix the (minimal) damages I already paid for.
HPD is still pursuing their case, but any call I’ve put in about the status is spent on hold for non-emergency, followed by being told in a bitter tone that they are still working on it. Go figure. This post is mostly to remind me to call the gals insurance on Monday. Bike is still running like a dream - can’t beat those Japanese engines.

I ordered a pair of earrings in the mail, google "botw amber earrings" if you'd like to see their design, now imagine them on a real life man instead of a fictional one.
I fell in love with their design in botw/totk. Upon finding out they're real I just had to order them. They have clip on attachments, but the damn things come undone for no reason. Plus, without the clip on part, I think they'd look way, WAY better, but tbh I never thought I'd be an earrings guy and they're kind of a guilty pleasure... I still don't know if I'd ever wear them outside the house in the first place.

She is a Mexican citizen and holds a Mexican passport only. We have both stupidly overlooked the fact that she will need a travel VISA to be here and have of course not sorted one out.
Is there any way that we could get a VISA for her to enter the country, anything we could do to expedite the process, or anything at all that anyone here knows of.

I have a save system, which works good enough and supports multiple saves. However, the way I do it isn’t very efficient. Here is what I do: - When user selects save file to load, fill out the selected variable. - Get the text which shows the name of the save. - Use this text and convert it into a file-findable format, IE (SaveFile = $“/{SaveName}.json“ - Load the save.
However, I know this isn’t the greatest method.
I want to have each save file hold a id and a save path or file path (°°/saves/gamesaves/savename.json), and save each save objects content into another save file which would contain the id and the name (°°/saves/listsaves/savename.json).
Now, the problem is I don’t know how to serialise a dictionary and am confused when I’ve searched on how to do it. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

I (F 19) and my ex (M 20) broke up recently. The reason was because I felt like we just weren’t meant for each other and I didn’t see the point in wasting his time. He didn’t take the breakup well (which is understandable). However, I did explain to him the exact reasons and he turned it around stating that that I must have cheated. In his past relationships he’s been cheated on causing him to have insecurities and trust issues. I tried explaining that this wasn’t the case but he refused to believe me. Seeing that the whole thing wasn’t going anywhere I told him I’d speak to him later when he’d calmed down. Later that night at 2 am my close friend texted me saying that he was spamming their complaining about the entire breakup. I am the type of person who likes keeping my personal life private. I also believe that when couples are having their issues that they should not involve other people. Due to this I became extremely upset. I confronted him the next day and at first he denied it but after a few minutes began defending his actions. He claimed that my reasons for breaking up with him made no sense and that he was just asking for advice. This confused me as he only met my friend twice and barely spoke to them each time. He has always had issues holding conversations and doesn’t believe in making friends. So to ask them for love advice didn’t add up to me. I told him that it was disrespectful for him to have been texting them about our private conversation and for twisting the entire story to suit his needs. He claims that I overreacted about the entire situation and that he just wanted some advice. AITA?

For some context, I did not realize I was into women until I was about 18. I was in a long term relationship with a man from the ages of 16-23 so I never had a chance to experiment or date women. I do not have many queer friends, so I still have never had a chance to experience being with women.
I met this girl through a mutual friend about a year or so ago. I was extremely attracted to her from the moment I met her. She is also a lesbian. Eventually after seeing eachother more, I started to develop a crush on her. This was big for me because while I have always been attracted to women, she is the first girl I ever had a real crush on. Like someone I knew in real life and actually had feelings for. So my crush on her is, and will always be, very special to me.
The more we hung out alone one on one the more I fell for her. But to this day, it is extremely hard to read if she feels the same way. She can be touchy with me, but I don't know if she's touchy with everyone or if she is actually attracted to me. I could go on forever about different situations where I felt like I was getting a vibe but I will hold off as it is not the point of the post. Point is, sometimes I catch vibes HEAVY and other times I wonder if I'm just being delusional lmao. I openly flirt with her all the time. I compliment her all the time and she knows I like women. I would think it's probably obvious to her that I'm into her but even if she was into me, I think both of us are way too shy to ever make the first move. So we have lived on as friends.
Well.. she is moving in 2 weeks. Across the county to California for a job she got there. She is not originally from here, actually all her family live in California, so she is moving there to stay. There is actually a pretty high chance that when she moves I may never see her again. She has no reason to come back here, and I don't know if I would ever fly to visit her or not.
I am debating if I should tell her I have had a huge crush on her and am super attracted to her before she leaves. I jjust.. I feel like I will regret it if I don't. She's my first queer crush and that's really special to me and I feel like I will beat myself up if I never told her. I'm not even looking for a relationship or anything right now so it's not like I would be asking her out. It would be pretty casual.. just like "hey just so you know I have the fattest crush on you" and just seeing how she responded. It would be nice to know if I'm delusional or if she actually feels the same way before I possibly never see her again.
