My 2015 STI (with ~96k miles at the time) was shaking a bit on cold start and popped a P0302 CEL last December so I brought it into the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. At the time they cleared the code and things were fine until a few weeks ago when it came back, so I brought it in again (now at just over 100k miles) and they did a leak down on cylinder 2 which indicated 30% loss of pressure.
The dealer says this is valve issues and I should have them all fixed, sending out the heads to another shop for a cost of nearly $5k.
This car is stock unmodified in any way, always dealer serviced, so I'm not sure what to do. I don't really want to spend $5k on parts for an engine with 100k miles on it.
I called Subaru of America and opened a case, so hopefully they'll get back to me. The car doesn't knock or burn oil, so they said this repair wasn't covered by the 8 year 100k mile bearing warranty, even though if that happened they'd cover the cost. I almost wish it was that, which is an odd thing to write.
I'll update this thread with what SoA comes back with, but otherwise looking for options!

This may be the oddest way I choose to stop supporting a business but nothing frustrates me more when I'm in public and somebody let's their kid do anything they want.
I'm waiting to get my hair cut and there is a family in here with a 3-4 year old here to get their kids hair cut. I recognize the man runs the taco shop near my house because he's in his work uniform. The kid is running circles through the lobby, in and out of the actually Barber, climbing on chairs people are sitting in(including my own) blasting the same 5 sounds from a phone he's throwing everywhere and I can smell he shit himself. The mother is sitting in the corner barely saying anything to the kid and doing absolutely nothing to stop him except when the kid ran outside. The father is sitting somewhere else and had not said a single word the 30+minutes I have been here.
There is a another kid in here who's probably a year or two older who's been very well behaved and quiet the whole time.
I will not be buying tacos from them seeing as this is the way they choose to represent themselves while promoting their business.

this was definitely my fav anime song infact i got into Anime music rabbit hole solely because this single song alone
but unlike other rezero songs the lyrics did not quite make sense to me in the anime's context (sometimes it did seem like it was Subaru who was speaking about losing memories and stuff like that but then sometimes it didn't when the lyrics where like i'll forget myself and restart, or the narrator's waiting for someone's touch and then saying your deep black eyes- so thought it couldn't be Subaru)

Ram's insert Song was about her (toxic) love for Roswaal (the song is good but the context just creeps the hell out off me)
stay alive being Subaru despairing over not being able to solve the puzzle to save the lives of his friends and he still stays alive and walks again not being able to solve the puzzle to save his friends again as he is drifting apart from them in every loop
Redo is basically Subaru screaming to not giving up and forgetting Emilia and not forget his promise to her in the first loop but it does show a little bit of his arrogant attitude
So pretty much every song had a narrator who was a character in the story except Styx Helix, it was a narrated song with outside perspective on Subaru which sometimes told us similar things such as its regret of losing memories and to what Subaru might have said/thought (WELL THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT UKNOW AND I WAS SO GLAD THAT I WAS PROVEN WRONG)
Now that I think about why would we even support Subaru, Tappei wanted us to hate Subaru at till arc 3 (I never hated him though he was pretty cool even in arcs 1-2)

So in this fanfic it suggested the idea that Satella might be the one who was the narrator of the Styx Helix and to my surprise it does kind off checks off all the lines in the lyrics being Satella watching Subaru and trying to encourage him (except that line "oh please don't let me die)

By the end of the song she even clearly says that she might never be with him again if he finishes what he was supposed to

1- Chests?
Unlike any other roguelike there are no chests in Powder. But why does knock spell mention a locked chest?
2- Exotic armors
C'mon game, there are no golden plate mail or beetle skull helmet...
3- Grid bug
You will understand their description better once you know these poor creatures can't move diagonally in Nethack unlike any other monster. They are still unique in Powder but in a better way. There are fun references to Nethack and other RPGs, i like the texts of helm of draining and empty bottle :P
4- Kobold religion
Have you noticed some kobold rooms are named kobold temple? At first i thought kobold mages are the priests of those temples as they are the leaders that protecting the amulets of these rooms. Therefore kobolds probably worship Belweir or even Wpark the Wonderful because Wpark was the teacher of kobold mages. But here is the question: kobold thieves are the highest caste in kobold community so do they worship mage gods or Quizar the rogue god?
There are lot of kobold types: kobold thief>kobold assassin>kobold fighter>kobold mage>kobold
According to evolution path when a kobold mage reaches to level 20, he becomes a kobold assassin. And these assassins have a secret organization. Hmm...
5- Tridude religion and Xom the cultist god
Since Xom is the owner of the portal which leads to tridude spaceship, maybe these aliens worship him? Also the minotaur carries the key of the portal, Glowing Y-Rune. Why? Maybe Xom locked the minotaur in the maze and gave him the key. Ever noticed the name Xom(><0V) can't be spelt right just like Baezl'bub? What if he created Baezl'bub? Or the whole Powder universe? Xom is above other gods, he is able to act like them if he wants, he can give you extreme amount of health and mana if he wants. Since he likes to play games is it possible that he is the owner of the game?
6- Kingdom of Qwar
This must be the kingdom the village elder talking about. We know nothing about overworld. Western Pederbar region, Abr'po? Astral plane, mental plane, plane of decay, plane of earth... Who the hell owns a village in stage 24? We can only see the orc and hill orc raiders but what about the inhabitants of the village? As i wrote in the previous mystery, maybe gods(Except Xom and Tlosh) are past adventurers that died against Baezl'bub? I said except Xom because i wrote a different theory about him in number 5. Tlosh is another story, according to his description he is not even a god, he is just too powerful. And he didn't die, he turned himself into an immortal lich.
Here is a counter arguement though: If these gods were adventurers then why don't they have any tales like Tlosh? Because some spell descriptions inform us about Tlosh's past. Here is a small hint, the description of impale skill tells H'ruth was impaling hill orcs with his silver spear Relattrey when he was human :)

Hello, I just had the worst string of luck and one of the worst experiences in the world of URW so allow me to rant my frustrations a bit.
My story begins with me taking all my valuables and setting off to Kaumo to seek if I can find a master blacksmith who could forge me one of the most elusive weapons in the game: masterwork Kaumo spear!
For those who might not have noticed it before, this particular weapon has been one of the rarest things you can find along with mastercraft ango. I thought perhaps the new blacksmith update might change this. Well no such luck, not in my world at least. It seems there was no blacksmith skilled enough to craft mastercraft Kaumo items in my world, or I just failed to find the village he was hiding in.
After the disappointment I set course to return home. Running out of smoked meat it was about time to call it for the summer anyway. Nearly back home I get caught outside in a moonless midnight so dark that vision is 0 tiles. I panic, thinking no way this is the moment I get a serious encounter... And as luck would have it: robbers!
I tell you, I dislike robbers even in the most optimal of cases. Something about them just rubs me the wrong way, they always get a full surround encounter and their loot is rarely worth anything, but you always risk losing everything but your life. High risk, low gain. And either their stats are exceptionally high or I just have bad luck. So really not a fan!
Well I'm armed with fine broadsword and mastercraft round shield. I'm only decently skilled with both around 50% skill. I know I will be outnumbered and the visibility is 0 tiles. Things seem dire even before the battle starts. They carry torches so they shine in the forest while I can't see the tile before me. I start backing blindly away until I hit a wall of trees to guard my back. I wait one turn and the bandits initiate the robbery, and I challenge them to fight.
I get the first turn, my broadsword slashes a solid hit to abdomen, the bandit starts to bleed. I think to myself this might just work out. Well, joke's on me as I end up facing the most embarrassing and frustrating defeat I have ever had.
He hits me with a regular spear, I choose to block which fails and he scores a solid hit, which only does a minor puncture to my abdomen, 6% injury. I know penalties stack and any wound makes further wounds that much easier, so first hit landing is still terrible news against a group of enemies. My next swing really needs to hit now before more of them run up to me. Fate had other plans, my slash gets counterstruck with another minor puncture to abdomen. 7% injury this time. Worst of all my character decides this is too much for him and passes out with total 13% injury!
So this is how my decently rolled character lost all his gear and quit living in frustration, as the bandits didn't even do him the courtesy of ending his life. If I have to gather new wealth anyway I might as well start over hopefully with somebody who doesn't pass out on two minor wounds!

On final note: Has any of you found mastercraft kaumo spear or ango recently? And why doesn't Kaumo blacksmith know how to craft Kaumolais knife?

So fucking tired of living in a country that doesn't care if it's people live or die. Can't get surgery, can't find a psychiatrist that will work with my insurance and provide me with brain numbing drugs. Genuinely what do they want me to do? Off myself? Would probably be cheaper for everyone in the long run anyways. I am so fucking frustrated. I can't afford to pay a psychiatrist $500 a week out of pocket and surgery isn't happening anytime soon. Death is the only option. have been fighting with my insurance for a year and I have twice the required letters from mental health professionals but none of that matters. No one cares that I'm living in a body that causes me physical pain and discomfort to the point of making me consider ending it all. I have been this fucking close to offing myself since November and I don't know what to do anymore. It seems like the only option for me to find peace. Ever single day since l've grasped the concept of sex and gender I have wanted to die because my body is different from other women. So fucking close to pumping my body full of drugs and hoping I never wake up. I am in so much pain, so fucking much that I can't even describe it in words. I am so fucking close to just preforming a penectomy on myself and forcing the ER doctors to complete the job before I bleed out. But honestly, maybe bleeding out is the right option in my case. Fuck the healthcare system, who the fuck has $35-$80k just lying around for reconstructive surgery. I really don't know what to do anymore and I don't see a future for myself if I have to live any longer with my current configuration. I might turn myself into a fucking statistic but atleast I'll prove a point. The American healthcare system is killing all of us unless you have elite insurance or are rich, especially trans people. So done, just so fucking done. No one is going to hear from me in the near future, and the’ll all know why, they’ll know the healthcare system failed a 19 year old girl who desperately seeked out life saving surgery and has spent the past year in intensive therapy programs. All I do all day is just rot in bed and wait for better days. But those better days will never come. I won’t last for another year without this surgery. I won’t. I refuse to. They can either provide me with life saving surgery or my life will just be over and my body will be buried deep in the ground or cremated and shoved in some urn. It’s all I fantasize about all fucking day. I can’t get into a car or any form of transport anymore without wishing and begging that I’ll end up in some horrific accident. This is what it's like to have your teenage and young adult years ripped away from you because you can't cope with living in a body with a male gender marker. All of the progress l've made in my transition, the years of hormone replacement therapy, the orchiectomy, completely living socially as a female, it all means nothing aslong as I've got this fucking tumor between my legs. I am ready to be out of this planet and society if I can't get this done. I can only tuck and distract myself for so long. There is nothing I can do to improve my situation, I just need to accept my fate and do what should've been done so long ago. I can't pee, I can't shower, I wear the same clothes for a week straight to avoid my parts as much as possible. I am fucking tired and it's over, it's all over for me. Genuinely, what the fuck am I supposed do? How am I supposed to stop fantasizing about being taken out of this world and becoming a cold, stiff, rotting corpse. It's all I want, all I dream about during the rare occurrences I do dream. I need a fucking lobotomy, I need my brain turned to mush so I can't think anymore. I was just thinking, would you guys like if Spotify cleaned up Soundtrap and added more features like uploading your music directly to Spotify with all the monetization features that implies?
I certainly would. I see Spotify (which owns Soundtrap) invest heavily into the podcasts ecosystem with solutions that span from podcast creation, distribution, monetization and more.
It does not seem like Spotify has put it in nearly the same amount of effort into its music creators as much as they have into their podcast creators even though music is undeniably a bigger part of their platform.
Spotify has not even seen too much success in their podcasting department for all the resources they deployed.
I suggest Spotify reallocate some resources from its podcast department into making Soundtrap a more complete DAW that can stand alongside Ableton, Logic and FL Studio while maintaining its unique features of collaboration it does best. Additionally if they closed the loop in the eco-system by adding the ability to upload Soundtrap songs to Spotify if would be a very strong selling point.

I used to love TR3. Just replayed it recently, and honestly, it annoyed me much more than I expected. Did not love the levels as much as I used to, did not love the murky textures that make everything a pain to look at (I mean this on an actual physical level, the amount of strain I had to put on my eyes to make out a medipack from the ground was ridiculous), did not love the small annoyances that come with a game this old (you can't look while swinging from monkey bars without lara moving, you can't turn corners while shimmying, you can't turn left or right while sprinting, some ledges you don't grab just because the game decides you can't grab them, etc.), all in all, just did not care for it nearly as much as I used to.
Funny thing is, I think TR2 still holds up on account of it being so old that it's retro, the textures are bright instead of murky, the levels are interesting and everything breathes. And the level design is tight af. TR3 just falls in that weird middle ground, same traps, same weapons, just more of everything but with the added bonus of much more obtuse puzzles and genuinely confusing texture work.
Now enter The Last Revelation, and holy shit it's night and day. This is probably the definitive experience when it comes to the classic games. The textures are just insanely improved (I mean in terms of definition and adding interest to areas, of course the graphics are still old as all hell, but who cares about that), much clearer, brighter, easier to look at, and generally crisper. The mechanics have been tightened considerably, to the point where I feel like most of my complaints from 3 were adressed, level design is top notch, and so many things were added to make up a dynamic and interesting gaming experience, it really did innovate a whole ton without actually breaking free from the same engine. Rope swinging, ground levers, high wall levers, pulling rope switches, combining items, rotating whole rooms, even a game of Senet, flyby cameras, the crowbar, torches, I could go on, it just innovated like crazy compared to the previous 3. Even the puzzles were a major improvement, finally it's not just about finding some type of key stand-in object or pulling some levers/pressing some buttons. The puzzles in this game are much closer to what you would find in a more modern game. And for the 1st time, the story actually makes sense without me having to decifer the cutscenes lmao this is a nitpick, the game where I think the story is the hardest to follow on account of there not beign much of it is the 3rd one. The problem has always been the cutscene quality hindering the communication of the story imo I've known these games since I was a child so I know the stories anyway, but I always felt like they were poorly communicated. Not here, though, it feels coherent at last. Maybe I just haven't gotten to the egypt fatigue stage of the game yet, but so far, top grade.

Only 60k miles. I don’t drive much. Religious about maintenance. Almost always took to dealer save for a couple of random oil changes.
Engine died on freeway. Blew cylinder one. Mechanic thought it was a spark plug until he ran diagnostic. Said engine is toast. Towed to Honda. They agreed.
Instead of paying $7k to fix plus a needed brake job I got a semi-shitty deal on an HRV.
Found a couple of other people online who had the same issue. I’ve read that 2010 forward the quality goes down.
Needless to say I am very disappointed. Interested to hear from anyone who may have had similar issues. I feel like Honda should give me a free extended warranty (the one they tried to sell to me for $2500 as I was paying). Or something.
It’s just not right. The best the mechanics could say is it was just bad luck.

Hello all Redditors, I'm a 2x CEO who was forced to close up shop in late parts of 2021 due to issues brought about by my partner whom had been doing nefarious things under our company name. My past companies were in biotech and intellectual property consulting. I have a bachelor's in mathematics from a fine school, and moved away from the area to a new place and have since got counseling for the absolutely insane story that ensued after discovering the wrong-doings mentioned and confronting the person. My partner was my father who held a lawyer and accounting license which is why I hadn't much thought he was capable of doing some of these things to people, let alone someone in his own family. Before that I worked developing companies from scratch and helping them achieve Pinksheets OTC status (have aided in more than 4 companies getting to this level) for public trading - preparing SEC form S-1's and advanced business plans including forecasting, industry statistics, and more. I also worked as Operations Manager for a solar company, lead information analyst and business developer at another agency, and my first job out of college was as a genetic sequencer for the AIDS genome working at the NCI (National Cancer Institute). Since moving, I've applied to LITERALLY over 1200 jobs on LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and others, while also attempting to solicit jobs on Upwork and freelancer.com, all to no avail. I have gone to multiple job fairs, and had great interviews (3 of the 1200 jobs applied to). The area I live in has good prospects for engineers who have security clearances, but I am not applicable for security clearance because of a prescribed medication I take. I would like to be in a place where I feel comfortable starting another business, but at this point money is sparse and I need stable income. In the interviews I've had, the lower-level jobs tell me I'm far too over-qualified and some of the jobs I believed to be at my level want people who have been working specifically only in that job title for over 7 years (which seems obscene). I have been applying to statistics, data science, leadership roles, management, director, officer, and other positions, and I've gained huge experience since leaving my company in IT and software development, SEO, machine learning, and other essential tools for business development as well as becoming acquainted with cloud platforms, software languages, and data archetypes much more intensely. It is getting to a point after over a year without a position that I cannot reconcile why I am not able to get any responses and any time I ask for feedback, the recruiters say they don't have enough time to respond. I must be missing something because I've done everything suggested - from going to job fairs in person, to improving my skills in the meantime, to getting Harvard Course certifications, emailing recruiters directly, expanding my circle on LinkedIn and more. I'm more than halfway done with a mobile app I'm developing on Flutter for android and apple phones that I've been working on alone, and have two other company ideas that are generally in development, but will not be finished in the near future. It is becoming extremely disappointing after moving to a cheaper area already to have had no job the entire time. I've even posted tutoring services in the local area all over Facebook and so much more. I would prefer a remote position as it is something I'm more comfortable with, but have applied to in-person positions as well. Again, all I can conclude is I'm just missing something that other people understand, because countless days of research, performing quizzes for applications, and filling out job listing after job listing has left me with a feeling that seems personal at some level. I have googled my name and not found anything specific that would prevent me from getting a position either at or near the same level as before. I believe I'm extremely capable and apt to perform duties necessary for the jobs I apply to, but like I wrote as my title, I have to be doing something wrong in my process. Please advise.

Post & User Flairs

You can now flair your submissions based on the kinds of comments you'd like to receive. Feeling friendly? Shy? Flirty? Let users know. You can do the same with your user profile. Is your inbox open? Closed? Do you encourage friendly compliments, or do you want people to fill your inbox with blatant flirting? Flair appropriately. :D
For users who want to be a little naughty, this means you can feel free to tease a little with NSFW posts but still make it clear you only want friendly comments. Or maybe you can post something perfectly harmless, but want to invite creative and dirty replies. Your choice!
If there are other post or user flairs you'd like to see, feel free to suggest them in the comments.

User Verification

Most of you probably know what this is. You contact me, u/sebwritessecrets, through chat with three pictures of yourself, from different angles, holding a piece of paper with your username and the current date written on it. It needs to be clear a digital modification check and return as unedited. After that, you become a verified user.
What's the point? You get a user flair that marks you as verified and real for all to see. It builds trust and reputation, locally in the community and across Reddit as a whole. In the case your images are stolen and reposted, it can be used as evidence to get the images taken down, either here or elsewhere on Reddit. Verified users will also be first on the list to be invited to community experiments and events, which you'll hear about in the near future (e.g. themed picture weeks, subreddit banners, and contests). If those kind of things interest you, verification basically makes you a VIP.

I'm a mother of 2, gave birth to my second in Feb about a month after this episode aired.
First: I'd like to apologize to Mandy for having such a crappy anesthesiologist. That isn't supposed to be so painful, and if you get a good enough anesthesiologist you won't feel crap after. Both of my births I had a great epidural, and I hope anyone who gives birth in the future have perfect epidural.
Second: Relistening to this episode gave me comfort, as moments after giving birth to my second child I nearly died due to my anemia and other unknown factors. Thank you Bob & Mandy for sharing James' birth story, how traumatizing it is for both of you, and how you got through it.

will actually be rating contestants based on how good they are, not arbitrary things :) will go from last place to first

1. Astrid: somehow served a raw dessert when she had an hour to make it, and as we all know, sloppy and unsanitary. Pretty out of her depth here
   
2. Stephani: arrogant and had consistently bad performances. she kept adding random things to her dishes to stand out, but ending up standing out as the weak link.
   
3. Whitney: nice, friendly girl, but her meatloaf was called a "meat dessert" by Graham. I woulda liked to see her stay over Stephani
   
4. Jordan: mediocre performances in individual challenges and looked lost in team challenges. especially when compared to the other teenager of the season, Ahran, he stood no chance. Nice kid, but didn't had what it takes to win
   
5. Gordon: average, didn't stand out. can't really say much about him
   
6. Kira: seemed to be really engaged and enthusiastic, but didn't really stand out til her unfilled donuts. I know this is the elimination that makes everyone go ......, and it would've made for a better season if Cutter went instead of her (yes, I'm a Courtney apologist lol)
   
7. Tyler: can't say much besides he didn't seem horrible since he got one of the first aprons. Too bad he took Jaimee's panna cotta (BY MISTAKE, people), but at least he took his elimination on the chin
   
8. Elise: didn't really have any high moments and was shown to be too much in her own head. I have no doubt she can cook and can probably bake like an angel, but the competition was too much for her.
   
9. Dan: besides an awesome audition dish, he was consistently in the middle/back of the pack, and didn't even produce stellar spring rolls despite being from Beijing.
   
10. Cutter: had maybe 2 or 3 highs throughout the entire competition and of course, his string of like 4 horrendous performances in a row tank him. Although he minimally improved after the final 13, I didn't see anything great besides his truffles and the offal dish (where he was given the easiest part). He should've left with Elise at final 13 and the competition would've been 10 times better.
    
11. Daniel: had some good early performances but was then consistently in the middle of the pack til the final 11. I like the guy a lot, but he was just floating by til the weakest contestants were gone.
    
12. Francis B: had a few great performances at the start and proved to be a good captain, but he fell to the bottom as fast as he rose to the top. I think the areas he could excel in were limited, and he proved that starting at the steak frites PT.
    
13. Francis L: funny, quirky guy who wasn't afraid to go far outside of the box. he started to go too far off the deep end, and his caramelle which got him eliminated made me think "why would you EVER make that??". he seemed to be great in team challenges though and one probably the best leader of the season. I wish he learned to reign it in a little so he could go further.
    
14. Willie: everyone loves Big Willie, but he kinda just plateaued after a strong start. He is undoubtedly a good baker who puts his heart into everything he makes, but a lot of his later dishes were way too simplistic, like his tomato soup (this is strongly proven in BTW where he skated by to the Top 6). In a competition where you have to elevate everything you make as time goes on, he definitely falls behind in this regard.
    
15. Christine: While she was never the main highlight of individual challenges, she was regarded by Courtney, Elizabeth and Ahran to be Top 5 and really strong. The dishes we saw from here were good, but she didn't stand out a lot. If her truffles weren't so bitter, I think she makes it a lot farther as she definitely seemed capable and had her head on straight. She was also a fantastic leader who didn't want any BS
    
16. Jaimee: just like Willie, everyone loves Jaimee. Despite making Top 6, she only had about 5 really good performances highlighted. Even though she was regarded as a good baker, her panna cotta and croquembouche prevent me from putting her higher as there were many obvious faults with them. She also had to be carried in several team challenges, and was an ineffective leader (not any fault of her though, her condition made it hard)
    
17. Victoria: probably the coolest person this entire season. Friendly to everyone, never made any excuses, was a hard worker, and was known to everyone as the Protein Queen. She may not have stood out as much as the Top 5 did, but she had many great performances and was never on the bottom of a challenge. Her going at Top 10 SUCKS
    
18. Ahran: You either love or hate her, but you can't deny the amount of talent she had at 18. She was determined, focused and ready to learn every step of the way. She had moments of immaturity, but we see far, far worse from those 10 and 20 years older than her. She had a ton of great performances, also was never on the bottom of a challenge and was put in the worst situation with the double elimination pressure test. Her ranking 9th is probably the biggest travesty of the season
    
19. Christian: Christian was shown to be outspoken, determined, and technically skilled. He had many great individual performances and was generally strong in team challenges. However, he started crashing and burning at the final 7, and ending up in the bottom 3 episodes in a row keeps him out my top 3. Still, strong her and stronger on BTW.
    
20. Leslie: ohhhh boy, here we go. Leslie was underestimated by everyone at the start, yet could consistently put out good dishes with flair. Two things I noticed throughout the season is struggles with plating (which I think he improved on in the second half), and constant issues with a lack of seasoning in his food. Between team and individual challenges, I remember him being told off several times for lack of seasoning, and his captaincy during the second team challenge was atrocious. He still remained strong and proved many people wrong, but was too immature throughout the competition and conflict seemed to follow him around. Also, we all know the salt and sugar thing, and who knows the exact details of what happened? Does seem a little shady, but I was never really bothered by it.
    

Now, a controversial final take, but...
I would have to put Courtney and Elizabeth at the same spot, and here's why:
Courtney was the immediate front runner, receiving the first apron and winning the first mystery box. Just like Natasha the previous season, she was targeted by several competitors with curveballs thrown at her, but she managed to overcome them. I think she was generally good in team challenges and was a great leader at the Football one, but she was out her depth in Restaurant Takeover. Despite the controversy behind both the donuts and the final pressure test, she was still very strong, survived several pressure tests, and continuously excelled through the finale. I know how people feel about her, saying she's the worst winner because she's "fake" (like the way she comes off makes her a horrible cook and the worst winner... ok people), but in my book, she's definitely one of the best. She was there for a purpose, made some choices to get through the competition, and prevailed.
Elizabeth is considered to be the best of the season by many, and maybe one of the best of all time. Her consistency is nearly unmatched, winning every team challenge, never being in a pressure test, and exceeding expectations at nearly every point. In fact, she was immune from participating in 11 challenges, probably more than any contestant ever. However, I think never being in a pressure test was her biggest downfall. Courtney had already been through 3 pressure tests and clearly knew how to manage her time, while Elizabeth had completely avoided them, and this lack of time management hurt her in the finale. Whether they wanted Courtney to win or Elizabeth dropped the ball hard enough to lose, who knows. She's still an awesome cook with a petty attitude (which I don't mind), and was rightfully considered top competition by everyone.
