If you didn't already know, Reddit recently made a policy change that will essentially wipe out all the major 3rd party mobile Reddit apps. Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API, from being free, to a level that is unsustainable to popular apps such as Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Narwhal, and BaconReader. The apps Apollo, Reddit is Fun, and Sync have already determined that this price change is beyond what can be afforded, and they have decided to shut down.

Why does this matter to us?

Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this has an impact that could be detrimental to all of us. Including the loss of popular mod tools that help prevent spam and predatory behavior, bots that help both mods and users by automating common tasks, and labor of love resources such as Reveddit that allows everyone to audit mod actions and removals.
For Fallout76Marketplace this API price change most likely won't have an affect to our karma flair bot(I think). Even though we are just a niche little trading subreddit for a niche game dying game, we believe in participating in this protest regardless. Our contribution to the black out will help get the message across to Reddit that the direction they've decided to go will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.

What's the plan?

On June 12th Fallout76Marketplace will be going dark along with many many other subreddits, to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.

What can you do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
2. Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join us at our sister sub at ModCoord - but please don't pester mods you don't know by simply spamming their modmail.
3. Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
4. Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible. This includes not harassing moderators of subreddits who have chosen not to take part: no one likes a missionary, a used-car salesman, or a flame warrior.

Hi everyone! I wanted to know about any experience/tips/insights you have for an experienced attorney from a smaller firm trying to lateral into Biglaw.
I've been a practicing attorney for about 7 years in a major market. About 6 of those years have been spent at my current job at a plaintiff's firm handling Federal court litigation. The firm itself is small with 5 attorneys in my practice group. My job title is "senior associate". Because the firm is small, I have had a lot of great opportunities including lots of discovery and motion practice, acting as lead counsel during trials, handling multiple appeals, etc.
After COVID hit I moved from in-office to 100% remote. As a result, I moved across the country to a much smaller market. I'm preparing to take the bar in my new jurisdiction in July and am looking to try to lateral into a Biglaw position. All of the openings I have seen are looking for associates with 2-4 years of experience. I would be content to take a job at this level, and I don't care about retaining my senior associate nor do I care about trying to quickly make partner. I am worried that the amount of my experience and my "senior associate" title at my current firm would make me appear overqualified or too expensive for some of these job openings.
My area of practice is somewhat niche, so I am open to switching practice areas, although I am not sure if any firm would be willing to take a flyer on an experienced attorney who does not have subject matter experience.
Additionally, I was a late bloomer in law school. I did not do very well in my first year and ended up graduating about the middle of my class with a 3.17 GPA. My wife and I were out camping with family this last week and decided to drive out as close to the ranch as we could get. The night sky was beautiful but the evening was mostly uneventful. I have to hide in the bathrooms during lunch, almost daily I make an excuse to leave class to cry in the bathrooms and stop my panic attacks, I feel like I can't even work in class, my grades have declined, I lost most of my friends, I am mocked, talked about, gossiped about, given dirty looks and people are encouraged to stop being friends with me. I can't even have a conversation with my friends anymore without feeling uncomfortable. This whole situation feels like my education and social life at school is ruined. Thankfully, there is a 99% chance I'm moving away for Year 11 but I am worried this is just going to get too much before I leave.
Three months ago, my friendship with my former "best friend" and left the group as a whole. She was ultimately the "leader" of the group and it would make it awkward for everyone else including me. Thankfully, I had other friends that I could hang out with that I have known for many years, some from childhood. However, these friends of mine had become very close to another girl that is in my form and I wasn't close to until two months ago.
Let's call her Samantha - Samantha, also 15F has always had some sort of ill-will against me. In Year 7, she would continuously put me down. She told me I would never be able to do triple science in the future, would embarrass me in front of teachers because of certain opinions I had and tried to blame me for every problem our friendship group would come across. This was a long time ago and I'm over it now, but I feel like this may explain future events. This ended in me being kicked out from this group and her "taking my place", you could say.
Anyway, back to the main story, I became close to the other friends I had including Samantha. Samantha, I, and 5 other friends: Sarah, Beth, Yuna, Nas, Sophia had a DOFE group together. One day, we were all hanging out, I'm not sure why but Samatha was not there. I was playing a game with my friends where I would kick their bags on their back. I did this to Sarah and she came back at me with a hard kick to my back and I was shoved into the wall.
Now this hurt a lot but I was the one playing the game and I didn't want to get mad so I just told her it hurt and not to do it again. However this happened again without me doing anything. Samantha was here this time but she was focused on her camera. This time it hurt even more and for the rest of the day I couldn't sit properly. When I went home, I tried to go the rest of the day ignoring it but when I tried to go to sleep, I couldn't even lie down.
I went to my Mum and asked her if she could check my back and she found a fresh bruise in the centre. Now my Mum is African - she doesn't play when it comes to people hurting her kids! She was extremely angry and asked me who it was that kicked me, however I told her that it was just my friend and that she didn't mean to. But my Mum was really angry and she was ready to literally call Sarah and yell at her in front of me. However I told her I would go and tell her and that she would understand.
The day after at school, I did this however Samantha was there. When she heard this, she immediately started laughing and mocking me, saying I was exaggerating and lying. Sarah joined in with her and this made me feel really bad because I just defended her to my Mum who was still really angry and then she did that, it was another level of pain. But later that day, I would get a call from Sarah apologising and saying she wouldn't do it again.
The situation was over at last! Until we went out the next day (Samantha, Sarah, Beth and I) to study at the library. When we went, Samantha decided to bring up the situation again and mock me, laugh at me, claim I was lying and exaggerating. Sarah joined in, again, and at this point I was mad. Samantha said that I "take everything too literally." and that was when I snapped and said that Sarah wasn't raised properly and that was why I got kicked.
Sarah got very upset at this and so did Samantha. I left and Samantha followed me, saying that they were just joking and I took it too far. When I'm angry, I say the wildest things so I told her she was up Sarah's ass to which she pleaded that she wasn't. I told her I was leaving, she and Beth hugged me goodbye and I left. I was upset because I just wanted to have a nice outing with my friends and it went really wrong.
When I came home, I got tons of messages from Samantha asking what was gonna happen, if my Mum was gonna talk to Sarah, just questioning me about the whole thing. I spoke to her when the next day at school, she was acting entirely different. She asked me if I was going to apologise and at the time I was still mad so I said no. She started getting passive-aggressive, keep in mind another person is with us, saying that what I said was really mean and repeating it in front of the friend. I said that what she did was really mean and Samantha started claiming that Sarah didn't kick me, but she kicked my bag and that it didn't hurt. If it hurt, it was my fault and not Sarah's problem.
I was extremely angry at this point. I told her that she wouldn't know and she quickly changed the topic of convo, claiming that me telling my Mum about the situation was unecessary. I told her that that's just how I am and that I talk to her about everything - she said that it was petty and I told her just because she has no relationship with her Mum, doesn't mean I can't have a relationship with mine. She yelled that I had to stop, walked away with her friend and that was when this drama started.
I didn't go to class after that because I heard Samantha YELLING to Sarah about me and I'm a panicky person so my mind immediately started thinking of terrible thoughts like: "Are they going to beat me up?" or "Am I going to have no friends?". I ran outside, started having a sobbing panic-attack and called my Mum telling her that I can't go in there. She told me to just go to class but I couldn't. I ran home that day just to avoid going to school.
My Dad (Asian - you already know the drill) was extremely angry and didn't even give me a choice before reporting both Sarah and Samantha to school. However, nothing was done to either of them.
After this, Samantha told each and every one of our mutual friends what happened. I have received dirty looks everyday, I hear her taking and gossiping about me everyday. I can't even be with my friends without Samantha coming up to us and taking them away from me. Remember the former best friend from the start of the story? Yep! They both talked about me, right in front of me. Samantha would throw shade on me with my friends in front of me. I lost almost 8 friends and counting because she encourages them to drop me. I can't eat lunch outside because I'm scared she's going to see me and tell everyone because that's her occupation now - talking about me. I lost my DOFE group, I lost so many friends. I cry literally everyday.
I come home and I just cry to Mum because I can't do this anymore. I wake up everyday knowing I have to go to school and deal with this. A friend of 3 years (let's call her Amelia) sent me a text message saying that she was going to end our friendship because I had "done bad stuff to her friends" - this was the same friend Samantha would take away, almost every encounter we had.
What should I do?

As the title was suggest, I saw a kitten lose its life 3 days ago in a very graphic way. I'm going to spare everybody the extreme details in this story, as I don't really wish to make anyone upset nor see it in my mind's eye again any more than I already have to.
But my partner and I were leaving Marshalls when we saw a small little Calico coloured blur dart amongst the parked cars away from some people walking. My partner and I got to the four-way stop as it darted across it and under a car waiting at the opposite side of the 4 way. It all happened so fast, and the 4 way was hectic with kids crossing it as well as cars, but my brain only registered what happened after the car it had apparently run under, moved and left there was the kitten, but in distress now. I made a decision that I fully regret, and that was to LEAP out of our stopped vehicle and run across the parking lot 4 way to pick it up off the ground. Which exposed me to an up and close view of it's graphic condition. My brain for some reason thought it would be fine. As I moved it off the pavement I heard it's last breath, however. I was in a fair deal of shock as I moved it to the back of the building away from the people on the crosswalk and cars that didn't seem to care and placed it on the ground and quickly walked away in shock. It wasn't until my partner parked the truck and checked the kitten out himself that I finally lost it and started crying, the situation finally hitting. It took quite a while to compose myself and once I stopped sobbing we cleaned my hands and legs up of blood and once we were done with that decided to take the kitten home and bury it in the desert.
However since this happened, the image of this kitten continues to replay in my mind and sounds, as well as a sense of deep guilt feeling like I should have leapt out of the vehicle the second I saw it rather than watch. Guilt over the fact that since moving to a city filled with many feral stray cats, I've almost become numb to seeing them or reacting to them. I almost blame myself because of that mentality, which is definitely one I never had until moving to so many stray heavy states. I don't think I've gone a day since without crying. I actually really wanted a Calico as well, which makes this suck more. At this point I just hope the intrusive memories and blaming vernacular changes as the experience fades.

So after playing, beating and getting the platinum trophys for Elden Ring and Bloodborne (in that order) I realized that I now have an addiction you FromSoft games; so I decided to give this one a go! I started the other day but I'm not very far. I've found 1 gourd seed, 3 prayer beads and last night just stumbled across my first horrible abomination of a creature called "The Headless" which was in a mountainside cave that required quite a bit of platforming to get to. He kicked my ass, I'm not gonna lie. I've defeated a few, I guess they're called generals? They have health bars like bosses but I don't quite think they are. The one right before I found the cave with the Headless in it was a pain but the last one I beat. And I've found a couple of merchants so far but that's really it. Any tips for a new comer? The action in this game is similar but still quite different from ER and BB, Any tips on how to git gud? Anything I should be looking out for that the game doesn't tell me? And I'm wondering if I'm understanding this right, everytime I die I'm expecting to lose gold and xp like in the other games but am I also poisoning everyone with Dragonrot when I do? And how tf do I utilize this "Unseen Aid" that pops up every once in a while?

I just upgraded from Soundtoys 5.3 to 5.4, and since installing, all my Soundtoys plug-ins (ironically except super plate) use 100% of my CPU. Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I saw there was an old post here with a link to an old installer, but I'm wondering if anyone has come across a solution for version 5.4.
I'm still on FL Studio 20.8 if it matters. Might try updating that next, but I don't think it will solve my issue.

Summary
Book 3
Part 6 - Cretan and Theban mythology
In part six we're introduced to the lineage of Agenor, his three sones - Cadmos, Phoenix, and Cilix - and his most famous progeny, Europa. Zeus falls in love with Europa, and taking the form of a docile bull, carries her across the sea to Crete. To Europa and Zeus, three sons are born - Minos, Sarpedon, and Rhadamnthys. Agenor orders his sons to go find their sister and not return until she's been found. Telephassa, Agenor's wife leaves with them. Unable to find Europa, they abandon thoughts of returning home. Phoenix settles in Phoenicia, Cilix nearby in Cilicia, and Cadmos and Telephassa settle in thrace. None of them ever return home.
Europa becomes the wife of Asterios, ruler of the Cretans, who adopts her children. When Asterios dies, Minos wants to become king of Crete but encounters opposition. He proclaimed that the kingdom had been granted to him by the gods and to said that whatever he prayed would come to pass. So, Minos sacrifices to Poseidon and asks for a bull to appear from the depths, which Minos will then sacrifice in his name. The bull is magnificent and Minos exchanges it with a bull from his herds, thinking he can trick Poseidon. Angered, Poseidon causes Minos's wife Pasiphae to lust for the magnificent bull. With the help of Daidalos, she enters a wooden cow and mates with the bull. From their union, Pasiphae gives birth to Asterios, who, with the face of a bull and body of a man is the Minotaur.
Catreus, one of Minos's sons, consults an oracle and is told that he will die at the hand of one of his children. As a result, his children flee or are sold into foreign lands. One of these children, Aerope, becomes the mother of Agamemnon and Menelaos. As an old man, Catreus is killed accidentally by his son, who in his grief, is swallowed by a chasm.
Eventually, Telephassa dies and Cadmos seeks the Oracle of Delphi. The oracle instructs Cadmos to found a city, which becomes Thebes. Cadmos kills a dragon and sows its teeth, which become the Spartoi. After a confusing start, the Spartoi go to war with each other and only five survive.
Zeus falls in love with Semele, a daughter of Cadmos, and though Semele is frightened to death, their union results in the birth of Dionysos. Dionysos discovers the vine (wine) and is driven mad by Hera. Dionysos goes on a spree of working women into frenzies, and as a result they murder their spouses and children. Eventually, Dionysos is recognized as a god, paid honor, and brings his mother up from Hades to ascend to heaven in his company.
Thebes goes through a period of instability, with several rulers dying or being murdered, eventually ending when Laios is expelled and Amphion and Zethos build a wall around the city of Thebes. Zethos marries Niobe and they have seven sons and seven daughters, but when she gloats to say she is more blessed with children than Leto, her family is slaughtered by Artemis and Apollo. After the death of Amphion, Laios takes over Thebes.
Laios marries Iocaste, and is warned by an oracle not to have children, or he will die at the hands of his son. Laios gets drunk, and they conceive Oedipus. As a baby, Oedipus is left for dead by Laios but is rescued by a shepherd and raised by the King and Queen of Corinth. Eventually, Oedipus makes his way to Thebes where he kills Laios and his herald, after Polyphontes kills one of his horses. Hera sends the Sphynx to Thebes, who poses a riddle to the Thebans, who cannot solve it. Eventually, Oedipus does and he is given the throne of Thebes and marries his mother. They have four children before they find out that they're mother and son. Iocaste hangs herself and Oedipus gouges out his eyes and is exiled from Thebes. His daughter Antigone goes with him, and Oedipus dies as a suppliant in Attica.
Part 7 - The Theban Wars
Oedipus's son Eteocles tricks Polyneices out of the throne and exiles him. Polynieces ends up in Aros, and eventually becomes part of the seven kingdoms who gather to conquer Thebes. Because so many died during the siege of Thebes, it is decided that Eteocles and Polyneices should engage in hand to hand combat, where they kill each other. Creon succeeds to the Theban throne. As he refuses to let the bodies of the dead be buried, Adrastos enlists the help of the Athenians, who, along with Theseus, capture Thebes, and bury the dead.
Ten years after the war, the Epigoni (sons of the fallen), mount an expedition against Thebes, and successfully take the city. They tear down the walls of Thebes and send the best of the plunder to Delphi as an offering to Apollo.
Part 8 - Arcadian mythology (the Pelasgids)
Pelasgos, sone of Zeus and Niobe, has a son called Lycaon who became king of the Arcadians, as well as fifty other sons by different women. His sons were arrogant and impious, and when tested by Zeus, included the entrails of a slaughtered child in their sacrifices, which sent Zeus into a rage that killed all of Pelasgos's sons, except for Lycaon.
Lycaon is the father of Callisto, who becomes a companion of Artemis. Zeus lusts for Callisto, rapes her and turns her into a bear. Artemis kills Callisto bear. Zeus gives Callisto's son, Arcas, to Maia to raise and turns Callisto into the constellation called the Bear.
Arcas has two sons, Elatos and Apheidas. Apheidas has a daughter called Auge, who is raped by Heracles. The resulting son is left for dead on a mountain side, but ends up being nursed by a deer and given the name Telephos. Telephos becomes the adopted son to the King of Mysia, and on his death, Telephos becomes the King of Mysia.
Part 9 - Laconian and Trojan mythology (the Atlantids)
Atlas and Pleione have seven daughters, who collectively are called the Pleiades. Their daughter Maia sleeps with Zeus and gives birth to Hermes.
Hermes, even as a baby is mischievous. He steals a herd of Apollo's cattle, disguises their hooves with shoes and hides them in a cave. In front of this very same cave, he creates the first lyre from the shell of a tortoise, and invented the plectrum. Apollo accuses Hermes, who is still a baby, and takes him to Zeus to demand the return of his cattle. Hermes denies he took them, but isn't believed and agrees to give the cattle back. Upon seeing the lyre, Apollo asks for it instead of the cattle. While in the field, Hermes made a shepherds pipe, and Apollo offered him his golden staff in exchange for it. Hermes also acquired the art of divination by the use of pebbles from Apollo. Zeus then made Hermes his herald as well as the herald of the gods of the Underworld.
Another of the Pleiades, Taygete, bore a son to Zeus, Lacedaimon. Lacedaimon's grandson, Cynortas married Gorgophone, daughter of Perseus. Their child, Tyndareus, marries Leda. Leda is raped by Zeus in the form of a swan and the same night had intercourse with Tyndareus, resulting in the birth of Polydeuces and Helen to Zeus, and Castor and Clytemnestra to Tyndareus. Clytemnestra becomes the wife of Agamemnon.
Helen is a woman of incredible beauty, and is carried off first by Theseus. Her brothers march on Aphidnai and take her back, along with taking Aithra, Theseus's mother as prisoner. The kings of Greece came to Sparta, including Odysseus, Diomedes, and Menelaos. Tyndareus was afraid to choose a suitor for Helen as he feared it would result in a bloodbath, and so, in exchange for Penelope's hand, Odysseus told Tyndareus to obtain an oath from the suitors that they would come to the aid of the chosen bridegroom if ever he were injured by another with regard to his marriage. Tyndareus choses Menelaos as Helen's bridegroom. Eventually, Tyndareus transfers the kingdom of Sparta to Menalaos.
Electra's son Dardanos married the daughter of the king of Teucros. He renamed the city Dardania, and had two sons. Erichthonios fathers Tros, who changes the name of the city to Troy when he succeeds to the throne.
In Illion, Priam and Hecuba have a son, Hector and Paris, who is left for dead but suckled by a bear and taken in by Agelaos. Paris also obtains the name Alexander. Alexander is warned not to sail for Helen, but he abducts Helen from Sparta, and begins the Trojan war.
Part 10 - The Asopids
Zeus took Aegina, the daughter of Ismenos and Pelagon, and they had a son, Aiacos. Aiacos married Endeis, who bore him two sons, Peleus and Telamon. Aiacos was so pious that his prayers cured the barrenness that plauged Greece.
Peleus and Telamon are exiled. Telamon marries Periboia, who bares a son, Aias. Telemon accompanies Heracles on the expedition against Troy.
Peleus eventually marries Themis, who is prophesied to have a son who will be born to be more powerful than his father. Thetis gives birth to Achilles.
Part 11 - The kinds of Athens
Cecrops, the first king of Athens, had the body of a serpent and a man joined into one. He settled the debate between Athene and Poseidon by testifying that Athene planted her olive tree first. Cecrops lineage eventually produces Adonis.
Adonis, one of the most beautiful men to have lived, captures the hearts of Aphrodite and Persephone. Their feud over his time is settled by Zeus, who splits the year into thirds, granting each of them a third of the year with Adonis. Adonis choses to spend his third with Aphrodite. Adonis is killed by a boar while hunting.
When Cecrops died, Cranaos became king. He was driven out of the city by Amphictyon who took over the throne. Amphictyon was driven out of the city by Erichthonios, son of Athene and Hephaistos. Erichthonios erected the statue of Athene on the Acropolis.
Pandion, son of Erichthonis and Praxithea, became king of Athens. When Pandion died, his sons divided the paternal inheritaance, with Erechtheus becoming king of Athens.
Pandion had four other sons during his time in Megara. Those sons, including Aigeus, marched on Athens, and took the city. Aideus had trouble conceiving children, consulted an oracle, and drunkenly slept with Pittheus's daughter Aithra, who slept with Poseidon on the same night. Aigeus left a sword and a pair of sandals under a boulder, and instructed Aithra that, when her son could move the bolder to obtain the tokens, she should send her son to him. Aithra's son was Theseus.
When Aigeus returned to Athens, he found that Androgeos, son of Minos had defeated all others. Aigeus sent him in front of the bull of Marathon, and Androgeos was killed. When Minos received news of his son's death, he attacked Athens. The war dragged on until Minos was given a seven girls and seven boys to sacrifice to the Minotaur.
On his way to Athens, Theseus cleared the road of its two menaces - Periphetes and Sinos, by defeating them in the same manner they had been killing travellers.

In late-June 2021, I looked at this set of data for Alibaba, a company with $50B in net cash, and eye-popping growth numbers across the board in (1) the key cash flow generative division (customer management); and (2) the promise of the cloud. Please note that the e-commerce numbers are strictly customer rev mgt and *exclude* direct retail.

Back then, the big news cycle of the day was Jack Ma, Jack Ma, Jack Ma, and the antitrust fine that the CCP had levied on BABA. The bear argument was that Alibaba was in the CCP's doghouse and that this was basically going to be a shitshow for a long time.
I looked at the market cap ($620B), the net cash ($50B), and the FCF (26B) and the growth rates, and reached the judgment that in the next 3-4 years, there was a good chance those FCF numbers could easily fly past $40B, making a $620B Market cap look pretty absurd (MCap to FCF = 15)
How did I model that FCF go from $26B to $40B? Well, that's a CAGR of 15%. If their e-commerce (customer management) revenues rose by just 15% CAGR, then a FCF CAGR of 15% was achievable so long as margins held.
It seemed reasonable to assume that customer management revenue would grow at 15% CAGR for the next 3 years, given that this would represent a moderation from the previous three years CAGR, which was 23%. If it did hit $40B, this would easily be a $800B-900B company or a $300+ stock.
I bought the stock around $230.
Then this happened...

What the fuck?
What fact in the public domain did I miss about Chinese society, Chinese business, etc., which could have helped me anticipate that a company whose "customer management revenues" were CAGR'ing 23% for the last 3 years would actually have a -2.5% CAGR over the next two?
Why would I have any reason to think that cloud, which had a 3-year CAGR of 64%, would slow down to 12% over the next two?
What in the actual fuck could I have done differently, or thought differently, or analyzed differently to anticipate these horrendous numbers in relation to the past three years?
Clearly, three things have happened:

1. The e-commerce industry has seen the rapid rise of PDD and JD. These two are taking market share away from Alibaba;
2. Chinese COVID lockdowns really threw a wrench in domestic spending. The Chinese economy is soft across the board, ranging from real estate issues to domestic growth.
3. The Western and global economies in general have slowed down dramatically with worldwide inflation (even though no inflation in China), which really fucks up the economy of the world's #1 exporter, i.e., China.

Some of these are life's ups and downs. Others are serious issues (in particular Pinduoduo, in my view).
But coming back to my main question, how the fuck do I look at a set of numbers for three years, assume a moderation, and still get fucked in the A in this way?
The CCP or Xi Jinping didn't go around telling Chinese shoppers to moderate their spending on taobao/tmall from 20%+ CAGR to -2% CAGR. What in the fuck is going on fellas?

The things I'm gonna say are just tearing me up inside so I gotta let it out.
Okay first things first. I played MK my whole life. My childhood was carried by MK 4 and I got like 3-4-5k hours across 9,X and 11. That being said I gotta say that I'm legit angry because of many of the shit NRS did and still Do.
Im gonna put the MK1 rant at the start because I got a lot of things to say for 11 as well.
Let's start from the price... 85 BUCKS??? You can get Elden Ring,Cyberpunk,Hogwarts Legacy,so many good fucking games,with open world and shit. They are charging 85 bucks for a fighting game?
Those Kameo fighters or whatever. Wtf is this? We are not playing fucking Dragonball,or MvC or something. This is MK,a game about a 1 on 1 tournament. And now we don't even have pure 1v1 anymore? Then the trailer,and the gameplay reveal. The fighters... God... The fighters... Liu Kang,Scorpion,Sub-Zero,Sonya,Mileena,Kitana and the rest... We saw in the last 3 mk games. THATS 10+ YEARS. Kenshi is cool,glad they brought him back tho. But many people expect their favorite fighters to return. They want to see Smoke,Reptile,Ermac and many others.
"Oh but the graphics,it looks so good 🤩" Yeah no shit. It's 2023. They better have good graphics. Considering that this is a fighting game. They don't need to generate open world or anything. They got all that memory of a new platform for Stages and Fighters to look good. Having good graphics is not impressive. It is the bare minimum.
I can't understand all that Hype. MK11 Was pretty much a dissapointment. And I expect for 1 to be even worse.
Now about the rest:
Right. I'm gonna start from 11. This game costed so much on launch. 60 bucks for a fighting game is not okay. Considering for 60 bucks you could get games like DMC5,RDR2,Days Gone,etc. For a fighting game thats way too pricey. Then you have the Kombat Pack 1 which if you got you were screwed because later on you would get the Komplete Edition for the same price.
They brought back Cassie and Jacque which is... why tf. Then they introduced a bunch of unwanted guest characters. Like fr,who even asked for Robocop?
All this aside. Boon promised huge things with MK11 so many confirmations and shit (after KP1) Only cool things we got were Fujin,Mileena,Rain and Somewhat decent story expansion. Then they went radio silent for almost like a year. And went "oops you know what,that was it,bye" . Really? Then we got the cosmetics which were a painful grind in ToT,with a bunch of annoying modifiers. So if you didn't use an unlocker you were pretty much stuck with grinding for useless gear. Since all kharacters have a bunch of geaskin options right? NO! Most of those things were scrapped,and just recolors of the same stuff.
Idk how people were not furious about this,but they also fucked the colors of particles on a couple of fighters (mostly Jade's).
Game was one of my favorites. And It's just making me sad of what it has become. It just seems like cash grabbing,and NRS mainly Boon "trolling" his playerbase. People want the same things for years. Yet he and NRS rely on all that Hype to sell their crappy/lazy game. And when all the hype goes down,they pull out another crappy and lazy game out of their ass. Wonder when will people see the pattern.

I'm replacing a gas cooktop with an induction top, and I need to run some 6/3 for the circuit. It's an occupied house (my own). I haven't done a home run with big romex like this on a house with drywall, so I'm wondering what's the best way to pull the wire? There's already ENT from the panel to the attic (shoutout to whoever put that there 20 years ago).
I'm thinking about hauling the 6/3 up into the attic, laying it out across the rafters, and then fishing it down into the panel (with all power off) at one end, and then fishing it down into the cabinet on the other end. My question is: is that the easiest way to do? Or would leave the romex at one end of the run (the panel end?) and pull it through the attic and then back down the other end.

Bonus question: How would you fish the romex up from the cabinet to the attic with the smallest possible hole in the cabinet? if there were no cabinet I'd typically start from the attic, drill a hole in the top plate, push it down, and then pull it through a 4x4 hole in the wall with my hand. I'd rather not cut that big of a hole in the cabinet though. Thanks!
