Lucian
————————————
Lucian is the guitarist in the band, Horned Curiosities. Lucian is very bold with what he wants and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, he is technically the fan service on social media, delivering their fans with tons of thirst traps. He is 26 years old, making him the oldest of the group. Lucian is the second tallest from the group at a height of 6”2. Due to him being athletic in high school, his body type is well built and pretty muscular. He also has a very cocky attitude and loves to flirt with men. But after a little event between him and Cyrus, their drummer, during their tour, Lucian started dating him. He loves teasing Cyrus in any given opportunity and likes to give him gifts.
Cyrus
————————————
Cyrus is the drummer of the band, Horned Curiosities. He is essentially the ‘mom’ of the group, making sure everyone is on time and prepared for any show they have. Cyrus is 25 years old, placing him in the middle along with Damon, their bass player. He is the tallest out of the group at a height of 6”4. Cyrus’s body type is on the skinner side and he is pretty slim. His social media is filled with aesthetic pictures of the band and eventually some of him by himself in breathtaking views. During their tour, Lucian was teasing him which made him blurt out his confession towards Lucian! Even in all the embarrassment, they became lovers. Cyrus loves doing favors for Lucian as a form of his love.
Damon
————————————
Damon is Horned Curiosities bass player. He stands at a height of 6”0 and is 25 years old. He loves playing video games and arcade games which he is surprisingly very good at. His social media is mostly made up of video games and pictures with his friends from the group. Though his body type is more on the chubbier side, he is very strong and fit when he flexes! After a fallout with the band at their former manager, they had to hire a new one. As soon as the new manager was introduced, Damon was already head over heels for her. He managed to woo her over with his cute compliments and they began to date.
Gray
————————————
Gray is the lead singer of Horned Curiosities! He is 24 years old making him the youngest out of their group. He is also 5”8 making him the shortest as well. Gray was officially diagnosed with ADHD and gets distracted easily. His socials are mostly made up of video games and posts random things, including silly perspective photos of himself and the others. Gray gets angry easily due to his anger issues and is quick to jump to conclusions. All throughout high school, he participated in the boxing club which he now does as a hobby from time to time. Due to that, his body type became more lean and quite fit. Also, due to his lack of fluency in Spanish and despite coming from a Mexican background, he was teased and called a “No sabo kid”.
Josephine
————————————
Josephine (referred to as Joseph by the band members) is Horned Curiosities new manager. She has a feisty personality and does whatever she can do to get the job done. When she is not in her business attire, she loves dressing up in cute Lolita dresses. Especially if they’re hello kitty related. Josephine recently started to get to know Damon more which in turn, began their dating stage. Josephine is 26 years old and is a bit chubby, exactly Damon’s type!
Maverick
————————————
Maverick is a junior in high school and is part of a friend group consisting of 4 others. The friend group is very troublesome and they love to cause chaos. He is the quietest and the most reserved one in the group. Though, Maverick has had a longer history with a member of their friend group named Declan. They have been best friends since kindergarten and are very close. During his freshman year, he met his later girlfriend, Valia. He introduced her into their friend group later on and they got along very well. Maverick is 17 years old and is surprisingly muscular despite looking kind of skinny.
Declan
————————————
Declan is the main instigator of the group and is usually the one that gets them in trouble with his dumb yet exhilarating ideas. As previously stated, Maverick and Declan have been best friends for a very long time, and because of this, Declan has grown a pretty big crush on Maverick. He isn't afraid to have little fun and flirt with Maverick even when in front of Valia and the others because they all think the flirting is one big joke. He is 17 years old and his body type is lean.
Elliot
————————————
Elliot is essentially the only nice one in the group and she mostly keeps everyone from dying and killing each other. She’s the voice of reason and is really cautious when it comes to stunts that their friend group pulls. She is 16 years old which makes her the youngest out of the group she also has a pretty slim body type.
Valia
————————————
Valia is the most daring of the group and never turns down a challenge. She’s very self confident and assertive, who won't take crap from anyone. However; she is quite envious when it comes to Declan and Maverick's relationship due to them being really close. Throughout their years in high school, Valia and Maverick are known to be the “hottest” couple in the school. Which makes their friend group sort of infamous and are known as the “unpopular popular” kids. She is also 17 years old and her body type is pretty curvy.
Viktor
————————————
Viktor, a Russian exchange student who was introduced into the friend group due to becoming friends with Elliot. Viktor is the last addition to the friend group but is certainly not the least. He provides comic relief with his broken English but is surprisingly very clear with his English when it comes to cursing out Maverick. Speaking of which, Mavericks and Viktors relationship is more of a love hate situation. Viktor has a pretty good relationship with everyone else since they actually try to help him learn better English while Maverick just tries to negatively influence it. He is also 17 and has a pretty average body type, but is slightly chubbier, resembling a slimmer dad bod.

Hi all, I'm interested in putting together a little FAQ/Wiki/Sidebar guide kinda thing. I don't know if we can get it on the sidebapinned (AbsurdAstronaut) but at a minimum I wanted to make a post and keep it updated so that people can refer to in the future.
What I want from you! Any suggestions and information you think would be useful - Interviews / old reddit posts / Themed entertainment organizations / Vendors / Information about Disney (Think first HR Interview) / etc. I'll format what I can into this guide/wiki/FAQ, and if nothing else a comment here might help someone out!
What I want to add: A spreadsheet of job descriptions, requirements, salaries, and when it was last posted (down below in Jobs) - because once a listing is taken down that information is gone. I'll try to keep it updated and add the old jobs I have saved (mostly creative/engineering). If you have any thoughts and suggestions please let me know.

2023.05.30 00:49 Frequent-Lie-2567 How should I price my iMac without a stand..?

So I bought an iMac at the early stages of the pandemic, my model is 21.5-inch 2019, which size was discontinued. The specs are, 3GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 and 16 GB of memory. I bought it for around 2k and haven't upgraded anything on it.
How should I price my iMac?
I also have an issue that I custom ordered it to not have a stand (which didn't play out as well as I thought it would)
I am just not a fan of the apple software after being exposed to it all my life and am ready to switch to a Windows computer.

2023.05.30 00:41 RiotMMO Riot Games' Project F - An Upcoming ARPG In Depth Introduction

Project F Early Development Gameplay
Source: TheRiotMMO
Project F is a research in-development game that will be produced by Riot Games, Inc. The upcoming ARPG is expected to be a PvE action RPG. In other words, a player vs environment action roleplaying game. It appears to be a cooperative action game based in Runeterra, where players can team up against monsters using champions from League of Legends. Project F is isometric, stylized and casual. It seems Project F has been in development for some time. If you’re looking forward to playing it soon and learning more, then read on.

Riot Project F Announced

Interestingly, Project F was never officially announced. We had our first glimpse of Project F during League of Legends’ 10-Year Anniversary Celebration live stream.
10-Year Anniversary Celebration Riot Pls: 10th Anniversary Edition - League of Legends
Beginning at the 32-minute 38-second mark there were a few sequences of Project F gameplay. Granted, it was early development footage of Riot’s Project F. It is important to note, Riot Games intentionally previewed Project F. Project F was not a leak. In fact, Project F has been under wraps for the most part since that very day.

What is Riot Project F?

Project F is an upcoming ARPG set in the world of League of Legends. Actually, set in Runeterra to be more precise. It is a cooperative action game where players control the champions from League of Legends. You will traverse through Runeterra and defeat enemies along your way. Players will get to use iconic and familiar champion abilities that have been established through League of Legends gameplay as well as new abilities too.

Project F Landscape

There will be varying levels of inclination throughout your adventures. Given Project F is an isometric game, the sense of height and depth will be an important design element if Riot wants to make this game a successful as possible. So, throughout your adventures you will have to descend higher terrain on occasion.
You can expect to see familiar landscapes that share a similar art style as League of Legends’. As with many isometric games, such as Lost Ark, Diablo, Path of Exile, etc., the background will contain interesting landscapes while the foreground will feature rich and detailed visuals.
Overall, it appears the art design will showoff bright and beautiful colors. Expect to see the following decorative elements; colorful trees, plants, flowers, roots, large stones plus a variety of terrains. While we aren’t sure yet, it appears players cannot fall off the map.
One feature we find to be a nice touch is the dust from the ground that rises as players jump from heights.

Project F Game FeaturesPing System

It looks as though Project F might feature a ping system. Presumably players can ping locations on the field. Once a location is pinged, a red floating inverted cone will remain at the desired location for a time. Coordinated players can use pings to set focus areas, destinations, and other communicative commands. It could also be that Blitzcrank’s melee abilities inadvertently marks the ground for some unknown reason. Again, we saw early development footage. We expect most of the features to not be fully implemented.

Jumping Over Ledges

Another feature that Project F appears to include is jumping over ledges when traversing through corners of map without terrain. For example, when Ezreal walks forward, there is no terrain under him just a few steps ahead. Just before the ledge, Ezreal leaps over the cliff edge and lands on the other side. It’s unclear whether this will be a player command or our characters will jump over edges by themselves.

Cast Indicators

Taliyah
Project F takes a feature from it’s inspiration League of Legends. Ranged characters will have casting with indicators. It’s not known if the indicators can be turned off or not. Casting indicators are a useful feature. The indicator serves as a projection guide. Players can line up the indicator with their target for improved accuracy.

Friendly Fire

Friendly fire was a feature in the early development build. When a player is in a casting state, it means they are about to use an ability. At this point a cast indicator is visible. Likely only visible to the player casting, if it’s anything like the League of Legends feature. Now, when the player’s indicator intersects with a cooperative teammate, the color of the indicator turns red.
While the friendly fire colored cast indicator is insightful, it brings up more questions than answers. First, maybe it’s possible there are various difficulties in which you can damage your teammates. Second, allies could very well block teammates skill shots, hence the red indicator. Another possibility is while hovered over an ally, you cannot cast your skill shot. All of this is speculative of course. We will provide updates as they come.

Equal Base Movement Speed

From looking at the Project F short clip, we can see each player has the same base move speed. Keep in mind, equal base movement speed may not be the case at launch. Furthermore, it’s possible gear can be equipped and stats or talents can be acquired that affect the champions movement speed. Nonetheless, an equal base movement speed does reinforce the casual nature of Project F.

Project F Early Development Gameplay

Possible Game Features

Boss Fights

We may see boss fights. In the image below, a Project F developer is seen with a reference image on his second monitor. Part of the image showed Wild Rift assets of Varus and Ashe fighting a massive image of the League of Legends item Static Shiv.

Boss Mechanics – Slow Effect

In that same screenshot, the giant Static Shiv appear to emanate a yellow aura outwards up to under the attacking champions’ feet. The yellow aura looks incredibly similar to the slow effect from League of Legends.

Vayne

Checkpoints

On the same map where we have Blitzcrank, Lux, and Ezreal fighting, all three champions can be seen fooling around a campfire. There are no enemies present. Furthermore, they appear to be at a dead end with only one direction to go….into the forest. In the meantime, the players are running around and using abilities around this empty campfire area. Perhaps this starting area can serve as a communication hub amongst teammates before they begin their quest or journey. Alternatively, these checkpoints could be scattered throughout zones in order to let players rest, change armor, tools, loadouts, or reestablish their strategy.

Champions in Riot’s Project F

We know of at least three playable champions in Project F. The following champions include, Blitzcrank, Lux, and Ezreal. Below includes a brief overview of the mentioned champions for those unfamiliar with the League of Legends champion roster.
--

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank is a support-style tank. In the world of Runeterra, he a a mechanical golem dedicated to protecting Zaun from harm and supporting its citizens.
In League of Legends, he uses powerful lightning infused mechanical forces to subdue, retract, and stun foes for his allies. Meanwhile, he soaks up and blocks damage effectively for his teammates.

Lux

Lux is a support-style mage. In Runeterra, Lux is an aristocrat from Demacia with the ability to manipulate light. Unfortunately, Demacia prejudice against mages.
While playing League of Legends, Lux possessing offensive and defensive magical abilities that can stun and damage enemies and shield allies.

Ezreal

Ezreal ranged damage dealer. According to the lore, Ezreal was born by wealthy Piltovan archeologists. Ezreal now explores foreign lands and uses his powerful yet mysterious Shuriman gauntlet to defeat his adversaries.
Gameplay wise, Ezreal is a ranged short-ranged damage with good mobility including short teleports.
--

Project F Champion Abilities

In the snippet, we saw several champion abilities adapted from League of Legends. At the same time, there were a number of innovative abilities that fit with the theme of the respective champions. It’s worth mentioning the champion auto attacks have a low cooldown.

Blitzcrank

  1. Blitzcrank uses both fists to attack foes directly in front of him
  2. Blitzcrank begins with a wide left hook and then a wide right hook to damage enemies directly in front of him.
  3. Finally, Blitzcrank leaps into the air, extends his arms and and smashes the ground doing damage doing damage in a radius around him.

Possible Champions in Riot Project F

During the League of Legends 10-Year Anniversary stream, a developer had a reference page on his second monitor. It appeared to be two League of Legends champions outside of the traditional League game environment. In fact, is looked like a rudimentary Project F environment based on the ground particles seen in the anniversary video. Although, the screenshot of Varus and Ashe were assets from Wild Rift along with Wild Rift user interface. In the frame, you could see Varus and Ashe attacking a large massive image of the League item Static Shiv. Presumably the image of static shiv was a placeholder image for a boss.
Moreover, there was a clip in the video where Lulu was being designed for Project F in Unreal Engine. This Lulu was distinguished from the Lulu in League of Legends. Therefore, it’s safe to conclude, Lulu was at the least being designed in the early development stage.
Therefore, it is possible Varus and Ashe could be in Project F.

Possible Champion: Lulu

In-development Lulu
Lulu is a yordle from Bandle City. Specifically she is fae sorceress. While wandering in Runeterra she befriended a fairy named Pix. We she delighter to find many of her newfound abilities remained while back in Bandle City.
During gameplay, Lulu is a ranged support champion. He has a lot of crowd control and can provide her allies with buffs such as shields, increased health and movement speed.

Possible Champion: Ashe

Ashe is an Iceborn Warmother. She is from an inhospitable norther region called the Freljord. She leads the Avarosans, which is one of the three major tribes of the Freljord.
In League of Legends, is a ranged damage dealer, known as an ADC (attack damage carry). Ashe also features support features in her kit, such as slows, and revealing fog of war for the team.

Possible Champion: Varus

Varus used to be a magically ascended hunter from Shurima ages ago. After the loss of their king, his kind had succumb to insanity and blood magic, becoming Darkin and wreaking havoc on Runeterra. The Darkin were imprisoned in their weapons by the Aspects. Accordingly, Varus in his bow. Two Ionian men relinquished Varus. Now Varus consists of a Darkin and two men who resist his every more.
Varus is an ADC, with a mix of attack and magical damage.

Classes in Project F

Several League of Legends champions will be designed in Project F. We also know Project F is an action roleplaying game with a cooperative option. With the brief gameplay in mind, each champion will be unique. As a result, Project F could implement at the very least a basic class system. This is an role-playing game after all.
For example, Blitzcrank make possess tankier stats such as increased health, resistances, and mitigative abilities.
Next, there could be support classes and mage support classes. If League of Legends is to be reimagined, Lux would fall into the mage-support class type. Also, Lulu would belong to the support-mage class type.
Another class would be ranged damage dealers. Naturally, Ezreal and Varus would belong to this category.
We’ve yet to see a brawler, or physical fighting class type. Would would an Action RPG be without one. It would be interesting to see champions such as Darius, Garen, Tryndamere, Olaf and others of the like fit this role.
It’s possible Assassins could be a class in Project F. We have a ton of them in League already. Assassins champions that come to mind include, Nocturne, Evelyn, Talon, and Fizz.

Who is Working on Project F?

We currently know of one Riot employees working on Project F.

Kate Chironis

We believe Kate Chironis is the design director for Riot Games’ Project F, the upcoming ARPG. If so, then she started the early development of Project F when there were only three designers. Here’s what Kate had to say.
I helped bootstrap a new game as one of three early designers on the project. I focused on core game loop, player systems, the fundamental building blocks of enemies/encounters/AI, and helping establish the initial vision for several different types of content in the game. I prototyped heavily during this time period to “find the fun” in UE4/Blueprint.Kate - LinkedIn
It’s likely the quote from Kate refers to Project F because in the League Anniversary from October 2019, we can see Kate working on Project F.

Riot Project F Release Date

We’re not sure when Riot Project F will release. Even Kate Chironis, a likely Project F employee said she’s unsure of the release date.

https://preview.redd.it/pxtelmtl3w2b1.jpg?width=534&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8055a3c3d8b2262877adeaee9df9abc87f1b8b5
I am optimistic that players will get to see it, but I don’t know when.
Kate Chironis – Twitter

Nonetheless, we can speculate the game have a trailer, gameplay or other public media in late 2024. Remember, Project F likely began around pre-development in May 2022. This is based on Kate’s start date at Riot Games from her LinkedIn experience. In the experience description she describes work that lines up with Project F. Furthermore, 17 months later, Riot showed an early development of Project F where Kate was actively iterating.

Summary

Let’s summarize what we know about Riot Project F, the in-development ARPG. Project F appears to be non-canon. We saw three unrelated champions fighting alongside each other. Specifically, Ezreal, Blitzcrank, and Lux generally do not interact in canon lore. Ezreal is from Piltover, explores Shurima. Lux is from Demacia, and Blitzcrank is bound to Zaun as far as we know. To have all three of them fighting alongside a common enemy defies canon lore.
Also, Project F looks to be a casual friendly game. We believe it would make a great party/couch game. It wouldn’t be a surprise if this game became available for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. Project F does not appear to be graphically intensive. It comes off as a nice coop couch game you’d play on the weekends with friends.
Project F will be created in Unreal Engine. We’re unsure whether it’s Unreal Engine 5 or 4. We can expect to play as several champions such as, Blitzcrank, Lux, Ezreal, Lulu and likely more.
Stay tuned for more updates on Riot’s upcoming Project F.

In the snippet, we saw several champion abilities adapted from League of Legends. At the same time, there were a number of innovative abilities that fit with the theme of the respective champions. It’s worth mentioning the champion auto attacks have a low cooldown.

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank Fan Art
  • Basic Triple Auto Attack Combo: Blitzcrank uses three separate attack to perform a combo.

Lux

  • Basic Attack: Lux let’s out a projectile of light as well as a short arcing swipe with her wand damaging foes directly in front of her.
  • Final Spark: In Project F, Lux possesses what is known as her Ultimate ability, Final Spark, in League of Legends. Lux projects a narrow beam over an incredible distance, dealing dealing high damage to all enemies.

Ezreal

Ezreal Fan Art
  • Ezreal lets out a grappling hook that returns to him upon reaching its destination.

Possible Champions in Riot Project F

In-development Lulu

I prototyped heavily during this time period to “find the fun” in UE4/Blueprint. Kate - LinkedIn
It’s likely the quote from Kate refers to Project F because in the League Anniversary from October 2019, we can see Kate working on Project F.

Riot Project F Release Date

We’re not sure when Riot Project F will release. Even Kate Chironis, a likely Project F employee said she’s unsure of the release date.

https://preview.redd.it/x0wi7bcu2w2b1.jpg?width=534&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=45725b43395229c66c086a823d1c67cc7fcaf708

2023.05.30 00:36 EmaEdward My very attached 18 month old is about to start daycare…. Help

My son is going through the “separation anxiety” phase and is super attached to me rn. Sometimes my LO doesn’t even like it when I leave the room. I’m worried starting daycare is going to amplify his anxiety.
After being on waitlists for about 18 months he’s finally been admitted to daycare. He’s starting off with a summer camp, half days 5 days a week and then will transition to daycare when the school year starts. (With about a month gap between summer camp and daycare)
Has anyone gone through starting their child in daycare during this clingy stage? What can I do to prepare him or make this transition smoother?

2023.05.30 00:32 anchorsawaypeeko My first time review

So as someone who went to many Warped Tours, and moving to MA 3 years ago, I bought BC tickets but was worried given how much people botched about the festival.
So it seems either Friday / Sat we’re truly bad and Sunday was better because they learned from their mistakes or you guys just have insanely high expectations.
Sunday was amazing. We had to sit in ADA seating due to my partners recent issues. Red Stage was more than Visible from the ADA seating so even if you were in the Green Stage crown you could easily see the red stage. Don’t know why people bitched about that, even if the Green’s screens weren’t showing Red on Sat.
The sound for Red and Green hit us just fine all the way over in ADA seating. Even back by the food we could hear well. I think people don’t realize that whether a concert or a festival. There are dead spots / optimal spots to stand for the best music quality. As an engineer I understand this but perhaps others don’t . Google “dead spots” at concerts.
Also didn’t have any issue getting food. Yes if you go between sets you have to wait. Go during the beginning or end of a show and bam you wait in line for less than 2 minutes
And finally we waited less than 5 minutes and we’re able to stroll in out, and I saw many posts of people bitching about that. Wasn’t a problem at all! We walked back to Aleway station, and took the subway home east peasy.
Really feels like a lot of you have way to high of expectations, are entitled, or have never gone to a festival before

2023.05.30 00:31 Deep-Instruction7310 Nervous about Appointment

I have a telehealth appointment on 6/2 with my PCP about possibly starting Mounjaro. I’m 40/F, 178/ 5’5. I just don’t know if he will be on board with prescribing this for me, and I don’t know what my options are if he doesn’t. I have been trying to lose weight by walking and doing some strength training, but I am unable to lift too much due to migraines. I’m just worried he’s going to say no, and tell me to just keep exercising. I’ve lost 5 pounds, but despite eating healthy, the rest isn’t budging.
I have stage 2 uncontrolled hypertension (that’s been about five years now, and we haven’t been able to get to the bottom of that), heart arrhythmia, Chronic migraine, nonalcoholic fatty liver, high LDL cholesterol, and PCOS. I have a history of kidney stones and Lyme disease, the latter of which took many years to get under control.
Do I have any options if he does refuse to prescribe it? I have Medicaid, so I am not sure if that affects my ability at all? If necessary, I do have a family member that has offered to assist me in paying out of pocket, but obviously I would prefer for insurance to cover most of it because it would be a financial burden, but one that I do consider worth it for my overall health.

2023.05.30 00:30 flatcatgear Backpacking in South Africa (Redux)

The Moderator requested that I refine my request. I will do the best that I can to meet these requirements. I am in the preliminary stages of planning a trip to South Africa in the Fall of 23 or 24. We will be there for a total of 5 weeks and would like to visit three different sections: a game park (maybe Kruger), a Metropolitan area (like Johannesburg) and one additional spot. I am thinking of a 2-7 day trip, hopefully self-supported.
I have been backpacking for about 30 years with the longest trip being about 10 days (High country Sierras). A vast majority of my trips have been on trail, and I have backpacked Internationally before (UK, Iceland, New Zealand).
I am looking for feedback and advice from people who have actually backpacked in South Africa for insights and advice and where to go and what to see along with any unusual logistical challenges. Hopefully the moderators are satisfied with this request/format.

Riot Games' Project F - An Upcoming ARPG In Depth Introduction
Source: TheRiotMMO
Project F Early Development Gameplay

What is Riot Project F

Project F Game Features

Ping System

Project F Champion Abilities

In the snippet, we saw several champion abilities adapted from League of Legends. At the same time, there were a number of innovative abilities that fit with the theme of the respective champions. It’s worth mentioning the champion auto attacks have a low cooldown.

We’re not sure when Riot Project F will release. Even Kate Chironis, a likely Project F employee said she’s unsure of the release date.

Print clumps up in the middle
I've been trying forever to get this model to print: https://files.printables.com/media/prints/489207/stls/3995281_d69ff7bd-ea2b-47c5-b69c-c7cd3656cf63/deckhero_fretboard.stl
I have an Ender 3 pro with Klipper. I've done probe_calibrate until I feel slight resistance with the paper test followed by screws_tilt_calculate and then calibrated my bed with my crtouch.
The bed has a 0.24 variance, the screws_tilt_calculate are all within 00:02 of each other and the probe_calibrate offset is saved in my printer.cfg and I assume loaded automatically along with my bed mesh when I go to print?
Everything in the model looks good until it gets to layer 6. There are 5 squares that get drawn in the middle and my printer prints 0 of them. It goes over the spot, draws a square and moves on but leaves no PLA on the bed. I'm pretty sure it all clumps on the end of the nozzle and I cannot figure out why.
Please someone, any ideas?

2023.05.30 00:19 NuclearKnives Insert a PIN-locked SIM?

Hello,
I have successfully completed the Checkra1n iCloud Bypass through Apple Tech 752's Bypass Tool 6.2 and I am at the final stage that says I need to insert a PIN-locked SIM into the device. There is currently a SIM card in the device but I do not believe it is locked.
The device is an iPad Air 2 (WiFi + Cellular) / 16GB / MGH62LL/A.
  1. How crucial is this step and what is its purpose?
  2. Why can't I ever remove the SIM card? (Per the instructions)
  3. How do I acquire a PIN-locked SIM if it is required?
  4. Will I ever be able to use cellular data on this device?
  5. What is the difference between Checkra1n's iCloud Bypass and a Ramdisk iCloud Bypass?
  6. Why are there paid iCloud Bypass options when Silver is offered for free?
I am relatively new to this space so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

2023.05.30 00:06 moneycointeam Low market cap $MN ⚜️💎⚜️

Did a little digging into their community and website as well as pulled their contract up on dex tools. Their project seems to be fairly solid but doesn't have much traction yet. Market cap at 26k and trading volume is rather low.
DYOR but thought I would share this deflationary cryptocurrency with you.
There is a 5% tax and 1% of that is a burn tax. This can be good as it prevents bots and long term a 1% burn can add up. Doesn't seem to do much in the early stage of this crypto.
They have a Telegram, Discord and are now on CoinSniper how I found them.

2023.05.30 00:05 changedamnitnow92 Is the intro plot hole?

Connor is at LEAST 10 years older than Kendall. Kendall is 40, show runners said Connor is "in his fifties."
In the intro, they seem 2-3 years apart AT BEST.
Say if Kendall is 5 in the video, (which is arguably the youngest he is at that stage) Connor must be AT LEAST 15. That boy is not 15. Also it seems like they are 2-3 years apart at best. Not to mention Connor had fond memories of "his mother and them just us." before he parted ways and married another woman and had her kids. You are telling me Connor was 3 when this fond memory happened? No way. He had to be at least 10 (which he was).
So my question is, is the intro a "plot hole?"

2023.05.30 00:04 MagisterOfState Help with Lore for Stuff I made up for my use in AIDungeon

It is a story that is goofy as hell since it is made up strictly for my own enjoyment and nothing else. However the concept is salvagable(wouldn't write a book, but I can make a hfy post about it). I just need help on guessing some of the effects of my scenario.
The Lore is Earth in 2022 gets invaded by unnamed aliens I will keep unnamed for literary purposes. By the initial invasion Military bases with missile sites, capitals and AA capabilities are targeted and destroyed, along with all large scale electric production (with exceptions because I wanted a cool dam battle however it went offline so kinda excused) , factories and anything else large enough to be worth a shot, such as dense areas of cities.
Aliens have no interest in studying or contacting humans. They have a systematic procedure to extract resources with as little cost as possible. They set up extracting operations with defences that shoot on sight, and the procedure is satellites and laser guns(all solar powered) watching Earth to detect group behaviour over a certain size (like 20 or something) and killing any percieved leader figures until the group is destroyed, making cooperation essentially impossible and humanity devolving into anarchy.
The stuff that are known to potentially trigger an attack include : Carrying banners, flags also used by other groups People giving things without recieving anything equivalent unless it is through use of force Sticking around together in groups larger than tolerated Radio broadcasting and communication Leaders of smaller groups talking to each other or sending envoys Two small enough groups fighting together. Approaching, scouting or doing anything sus near the mines.
Anyways, the story is set in 2027, after everyone that couldn't find a stable food source(farming, herding, fishing, hunting) without depending on others are dead. My Question is, how many humans would be remaining alive in such a scenario? And what materials would an alien civilization be interested and consider valuable?
As for the story, here it is. There is a guy travelling through Turkey meeting ex Turkish military men that dedicatedly observe the satellites, getting an Iranian missile scientist(with some friends) and a Turkish general that worked in İncirlik Base alongside him, they form a conspiracy to 1) Make anti satellite missiles since existing ones were destroyed during the invasion in the initial invasion and 2) Retake İncirlik base from American soldiers turned bandits to access the nukes there and make additional missiles to deliver them and 3) Destroy the satellites and nuke the shit out of alien mines.
It works. Radio silence is broken. Word spreads like wildfire. Entire humanity begins recreating the old world the best they could, and preparing for another war. Restoration conflicts occur, first between nationalists(restorationists) trying to establish a government against all forms of warlords, bandits, raiders, local leaders, separatists that do not cooperate with self proclaimed authorities. In this stage all self appointed legitimate governments cooperate. I had posted about it in this sub, with Turkey and Greece waging war together (The most unrealistic part, I posted about it here on a previous account) against pirates of the Aegean who are the people of the Greek islands having survived by raiding the mainlanders for the past 5 years. After it comes the skirmishing phase with groups loosely aligned with governments that have moved into other nations territory during anarchy being expelled, often turning into border conflicts but not full scale war, and also alternative self proclaimed governments that come close to fighting. And in the end comes the consolidation phase where pre invasion de facto borders are considered legitimate and actively protected by all governments who become more and more legitimate/democratic with warlordism and local powers mostly passed over. Oil production begins again, and the world rebuilds, preparing to attack the enemy planet and defend when they come.
I plan to end the story with humanity sending a fuck you missile to the planet that is origin of the invasion destroying the life on it, and recieving the same some years later, going extinct apart from few bunkers. As for the aliens, I will not say anything in the story but that planet was just the colonial capital. I was inspired by Belgian colonialism (The part about how they demanded 2 hands for every bullet shot from the soldiers so they don't pay for bullets), and thought what if aliens just wanted to exploit the earth with that much greed.
Didn't go for enslavement trope because machines are more efficient, just thought what aliens would do to take resources without a single fuck given about local life. So basically our part of the galaxy is the Congo except they don't care about labour, the aliens are Belgians, we as humans are just a random tribe that put up considerable resistance, managing to burn down the colonial capital and being wiped out as a result.
