Directions to little caesars

My Boox Tab X came bundled with the smart cover (from Boox EuroShop). Although the cover itself is quite a standard design, very similar in concept to covers from other brands like Samsung or Apple, and does what it is supposed to do, I didn't like it. The cover makes the Tab X quite heavy and adds a lot of thickness. I prefere to use the Tab X without a cover, but I do like to have something to protect the device when not in use. My Boox Nova Air came with a simple sleeve with a magnetic flap. That solution worked fine for me and I decided to have something similar for the Tab X.
There are plenty of sleeves and similar covers for a variety of devices out there, the trick was to find something that would be a close fit for the Tab X, including the pen. Most covers are designed for smaller tablets, or for laptops. For a nice fit the inside dimensions should be at least 320x228x9 mm, but not much larger.
After comparing dimensions of several covers, bags and sleeves I decided to go for a white label sleeve designed for 13" MacBook and iPad Pro (Models: 13" New MacBook Air USB-C (Release: 2022-2018 Model: M2 / A2681, M1 / A2337 A2179 A1932), 13" New MacBook Pro USB-C (Release: 2022-2016 Model: M2, M1 / A2338 A2251 A2289 A2159 A1989 A1706 A1708), 12.9" New iPad Pro 5th 4th 3rd Gen (Release: 2021-2018))
According to the webshop the inside dimensions are 325x220x10mm, a few mm short on the hight, but I reconed the thinner Tab X would slide in a bit deeper and leave enough space to close the flap.
As you can see from the pictures it is actually quite a good fit. To prevent the pen from drifting around in the sleeve when only the Tab X is removed I taped a small strip of sheet metal inside close to the edge near the right hand corner. That worked very well, the magnets in the pen are even strong enough to hold the pen on the outside of sleeve. Quite handy to park the pen when working on your lap.
The angle of the stand is quite low, but it does result in a beter viewing angle, especially when placed on your lap.
Unfortunately the 3 magnets in the flap of the sleeve do interfere with the EMR pen. When the device is put directly on the closed flap the two outer magnets cause blanc areas and the center magnet large pen deviations. When placed on the flap in the 'stand' configuration the blanc area's are gone, but there are still 3 area's with noticible pen deviation. This can be a bit annoying, but in my use case it is not a big problem and I can live with it.

I don’t know what to do. My (17F) mom and dad got divorced when I was younger and the only way I was really able to cope was because I would still see them both and no new people were being brought into the picture. I know part of the reason I’m freaking out so much is egged on by my autism.
My mom (who I live with solely) has always been a very “independent business woman” type of person who never needed a man, and in a conversation we had about a month ago when I brought up my hatred of the idea of another guy, she said she had no reason to. This was extremely comforting to me.
Today my mom just left to an outing and as she was walking out the door I joked if she was seeing a “bumble bff”, which is the sister-company for platonic matches from the regular dating app Bumble. She said that she was going to a bumble date, which absolutely shocked me but she was gone and there wasn’t really any time for questions. I called up my younger sister in shock, who was pretty nonchalant and was like “so? She’s been going on them for the last couple weeks why are you so surprised, don’t you want a new dad?” Which I absolutely do not, I have my dad and I cannot accept a new father figure in the picture. I did not know any of this was going on, she likely didn’t want to tell me because I already mentioned I didn’t like the idea of my parents re-dating.
I know she can’t just be single forever and I’m being a bad kid, but I cannot stop crying and panicking because I don’t want this and I dont want change and I just frankly want her to stay single for a little longer. I have been going through a continuously rough time these past 2 years and cannot add any more onto my plate, I’m completely overwhelmed. I cannot deal with this knowledge and I’m having something of a meltdown and need to know what to do. I know I’m logically being dramatic but I feel like a little kid right now and cannot stop sobbing over some loss that hasn’t technically even happened yet. I don’t want my mom to get with another man. What do I do ??

Thinking of heading to the park for a little, app has been unreliable for times and isitpacked.com seems to go off of that. Is anyone there currently that can let me know how the crowd is looking today? I am a season pass holder so its no big deal if its packed. I come from Ventura and figured I would ask before driving :)

It took Nathan a week to get back to Silverlight. At some point someone had updated its registry designation with an actual name. Nathan shrugged and accepted it. At Least it wasn't something like “new London” or something stupid.
In the week he’d spent a day in orbit connected to the ISS slowly towing it towards the other station as a favour, it did represent a large amount of resources that they would otherwise not be able to bring to the larger station, and the astronauts aboard were more than happy to have gravity back, even if it messed with their experiments.
Another day was spent on the station making sure the guild species onboard had enough mana to work and were all happy with their treatment. The first part left Nathan slightly drained but the second part left him mentally tired. They had a long list of things they needed and a doubly long list of things they wanted from the guild which would at least give him an excuse to send a cargo ship on the journey back to Earth. From there the next few days were spent hopping from habitable planet to habitable planet on the way to Silverlight, spending an hour or two jumping from system to system before spending the rest of the day practising with magic, resting on some tropical beach or lush rolling grass plain. The Rest and relaxation was much more successful than his efforts at using his mana for things that didn't need tools.
Once they were back at Silverlight, it was a case of catching up on what Dakota, Nostradamus and his ship captains and crew were upto. Dakota was close to ready to send the loaned soldiers back to earth and the base camp had more than tripled in size. Now having a core of buildings around the two massive trees looming above the prefab buildings, off to one side a clearing had been made for ships to land with a thin cargo tram line going from the dock to the town itself. There were enough supplies down there to keep for months without the voyager but for the foreseeable future they’d be reliant on its systems and everyone was loath to risk the ship by stripping out some valuable system.
Nostradamus and his students had probably been the busiest group. So much so that Nathan directly informed the Lizard to slow down and take a day to recover when they met, the Lizard had been spending every bit of mana he could from Nathan's borrowed Opal without it making him sick to conduct his research, he’d filled a grimoire already and was working on a second and his students were all notable tired from how hard he’d been driving them to learn everything they could. At some point the lizard had opted to his both his ship and one of the Quilo prise ships put into orbit as the Voyager would soon be leaving for Earth, all but a few escort ships and cargo ships would also be staying, either working to mine material from a distant asteroid belt for the colony or ferrying material down for it…the combat ships were mostly docked but a Fed cruiser and a group of escorts were above the Colony to protect against anything unexpected.
Nathan waited until the Voyager left for Earth before he finally ran out of things to do. He got ready and left the colony with Jim for the clearing he’d spent the night in when they first started up.
He’d asked Sophie and Shayma if they wanted to come along but both declined, only Cave had come with and even he wasn't in the clearing, waiting respectfully at the edge.
“You can still change your mind.” Nathan told Jim, he’d said the same or similar things over the last week but Jim had just smiled his sad smile and reassured Nathan that he was sure of his choice. And that the other guy would be much better help to Nathan going forwards.
“Im good kid, I’ll miss you but…I want this.” Jim replies standing in the middle of the clearing next to the leaf covered stone Nathan had slept against before. “This place feels right though.” he adds.
Nathan nods, it did feel right. The clearing had grown since he’d last been here, the silver mana slowly spreading into the earth and through the plants. “Alright….alright…” Nathan says trying to prepare himself.
He dry swallowed a few times until finally saliva came and then he cleared his throat, took a shaky breath and began.
“I Lord Nathan wish that my friend and Djinn, Jim, be reborn. I wish that he become the God Wodin who he embodied in the past. I wish that the god he becomes, be the protector of my people so they may grow strong. I wish that he be empowered by my people, by their belief and hard work so that as we grow so does he.”
Nathan paused to take a breath as tears streamed down his face, his voice caught and he quickly swallowed the lump in his throat before continuing. “I wish that he be free to act within the domains that will be his, domain’s of power, war, wisdom, nature, protector of the fallen and guide to those who aspire to achieve greatness or die in the attempt…I wish…I wish that he finds himself content in his duties and in the efforts of those who one day may choose to serve him.” Nathan finished and felt a thrumm of power from the kettle as it began to grow hot in his hands.
Jim stared at Nathan and slowly began to glow in golden radiance until he was painful to look at, unable to bear the bright glare or the heat he dropped the kettle unaware that the moment he did so it vanished into golden light and flew into the being coming into existence before him. His own attachments being the last thing keeping it as it was.
Suddenly the calm clearing was struck by a violent bolt of blue lightning. It struck Jim’s glowing form, the power cracking through and around him. Across the planet Silverlight, its skies lit up, Nosdramos and his students felt the monstrous eruption of mana and quickly sent their magical sights out to view it as bolts of magical lightning coalesced at a single point before exploding out to cover the planet.
On earth a brief rainstorm sprung up across the day side of the world, distant thunder rolling across the skies, the night side people reported sudden lightning strikes and a brief but violent storm waking them up as the dark skies were lit up by lightning. The aliens on the station would report a surge of mana from the world that shouldn't have been possible with the ambient mana.
Back in the clearing Nathan had both hands over his ears to protect them from the constant strikes of lighting, the force of the continuous strikes bringing him to his knees, even so he muttered a few words, their sound robbed from the universe as the lightning strikes reached a peak and then just as abruptly…stopped.
Before Nathan could properly recover he felt a large heavy hand on his shoulder giving it a reassuring squeeze before he found himself hauled to his feet. He looked up at the kind middle aged face for a moment before the being in front of him turned around, picked up its spear and in another flash of lightning vanished from the planet.
Wodin looked down on the world that was his to protect and nodded. He had the memories of someone not him. A low creature that spent its life in service to others, then trapped beside a river starving but unable to die, and finally a few short years with a good friend. This person had given Wodin existence at the same time they had gained their freedom in death. He could feel the layered wishes that had formed him coalescing together still but there was one that was kept apart, it wasn't part of the group that made him but it could be if he wanted it to be. He gathered it up in his free hand, looked at it and the intent it had been made, it was an honest wish, spur of the moment, desperate and hopeful in equal measure. But most importantly to him. It was a good wish and he accepted it as part of himself as much as the others.
He made a note of the world below, not that he could forget it but his domains and his gifted memories were working together and he knew he had a job to do. He turned his attention away from the planet towards another location. There was a gathering of beings like him and he could feel their call to meet them. He would go to them and introduce himself…but first…
Nathan shuddered from exhaustion as the figure left. He’d done it and he was exhausted, and he was responsible for the death of his best friend.
He collapsed again, curling into a fetal position and sobbing great shuddering breaths. He lost himself to exhaustion and sorrow until a deep rumbling voice broke through his self absorbed misery.
“You loved him.”
He took a shuddering breath and uncurled enough to see who had spoken. In Front of him was a tall man covered in beard and thick hair, armoured in studded leather a rune engraved cloak resting around his shoulders and a great silver-gold spear resting on his shoulder.
He took a few more breaths as the god waited for him before moving, instantly there was a pair of strong hands lifting him up to his feet and then he found himself being sat down on the large leaf covered rock at the centre of the clearing. Wodin, because who else could it be, nodded then apparently self conscious, looked around before sitting down cross legged close by.
“What am I to you?” Wodin asks.
“I don't know…I…”
“If I may” he interrupts “…You and Jim. created me. He gave his existence for me. But he could not have done so without you. In a sense he is my mother…Father.”
“I am not…ready” Nathan was about to deny being Wodin’s father but he wasn't ready to risk losing the last part of his friend.
“No one truly is ready to be a father.” Wodin says with a brief smile. “I have to go now. I may not manifest like this often. You can’t feel it but Shayma is probably scared witless right about now, Gods are not meant to interact with mortals. But I’ll be around.”
And with another flash of lightning he was gone.
Nathan was still for a minute, still exhausted from granting so many wishes, except the more he felt it the more he realised he was something else, something other than mana exhaustion. It was like he had stretched something to its limit and he had to wait until he recovered naturally or risk it snapping. Carefully and painfully he moved his presence out feeling the effort and how it was different. Like working your arms after walking all day. Yes his legs were tired but that doesn't mean he cant move his arms.
“So no more wishes for a while.” he mused. “Or perhaps no more wishes that are going to have such an impact…” that sounded more correct. There was probably only mana right now preventing him from wishing for a fresh bowl of strawberries to appear in front of him. But wishing for the Quilo race to suddenly vanish or the mudlarks to suddenly be gone.
He filed those thoughts away for a moment and instead sat there breathing in and out until he felt good enough to walk for a bit. Ultimately he’d achieved what he wanted. He’d made the wishes and created a god. One that considered him, its father…
“Shit, how am I going to explain this to Sophie…”

I've seen every argument under the sun berating Noel and Cody for lack of transparency (and that's necessary) but I'm a little surprised how nobody (especially longtime listeners) thinks the podcast quality has gone down a lot in the last 2 years, and the quality downgrade and the ben and emil fiasco both are direct results of scaling up production
I'm sure hiring more people and making it a business is lucrative. maybe it's just me, but I've never thought they scaled it up correctly, and shit like that is bound to catch up
You'd think in 2 years they'd have enough to eat for themselves and share to keep around their most lucrative franchise, but clearly not (?)
A very good example (and fairly comparable one) is that of Rhett and Link, look at how they scaled it up, but never made massive changes to setups (one small example would be always keeping the frame of their videos tight and up close)
TMG sort of went from giving that personable experience to trying to provide content that they want. The pods are downright boring, and I'd love to see how much of their audience share from, say, 2018-19 still watches their content, I'd bet it's low af

I know this may sound incredibly stupid or like I am a lazy ass. But I just want to vent, I almost cried today but was blessed with the day being off because my bosses are very unorganized. I started with this people in a small bakery and there is a lot to do, they are so new the place needs so many things like a proper computer and a bathroom. It is my first week and I already started to make extra hours and i was supposed to NOT have a free day because my bosses needed me for this week to work everyday. I am being as positive as possible because it was very difficult for me to find a job (i need money and experience), but i am already comtenplating leaving in a few months. I am the cashier and i have to treat public directly, and even when the work itself its pretty easy, it's extremely draining mentally, for me. I am also the only one working when the boss is not around, so I am alone in my shift completely without real help or someone to talk to and sometimes i feel like i am going crazy with so much silence..i only have one free day and work eight hours, so my plans of doing other productive things in my free time became basically impossible as i get home so tired i just want to sleep. I have a boyfriend that also works and with this schedule and his it's gonna be really difficult to see each other. Idk, i needed to say it. I know i am probably being dramatic and that i am probably goin to get a bit more used to it but damn. It's not my first job per se i have worked before but remotely only and this is my first time working with the public directly. I feel so tired today... I needed to rant thanks to anyone reading even if you don't care

Pretty much the title. I'm getting insane POI shift on multiple hosts with my Wolfman in either long or short config. I direct threaded to both an AP5 and Scorpion and got 18 inches of shift at 25yds with the scorpion and 5 feet of shift (yes, really) with the AP5k at 50 yds. No baffle or endcap strikes. The can was threaded on properly.
Oddly, I get almost no POI shift when I use the KeyMicro adapter and shoot 5.56 through it. Anyone know what's going on here?

Hello everyone. Basically, the title.
I got my cat in April about a week after my dog died. She’s a year old, and she was found on the street as a kitten by some frat guy who gave her to a rescue after realizing he couldn’t care for her.
She’s great! I have lots of windows and she loves staring at birds so she’s been having a blast. However, she seems a little bored at times. I’ve tried playing with her, and she’s interested for a couple minutes and then goes back to playing by herself.
I was already planning on having two cats - I was going to wait until I was in a better place financially, but I was real depressed after my dog died and I didn’t like it! So I started with one cat.
Every single person I’ve mentioned this to has agreed that I should get another cat. The main reason I was holding off was because I’m looking for another job. My parents stay with me when they’re in town (~1/2 the time) and they were initially hesitant about cats in general. After seeing her a couple times, they straight up said they’d be willing to finance the other cat.
So! I’m generally pretty familiar with cat behavior and introduction techniques and all that, but is there any wisdom y’all have to share with me? Should I get an older cat or younger kitten? Is there anything I should keep an eye out for? Any tips? Pictures of your cats?

My 2020 lariat has electric running boards that started acting a little wonky yesterday. Drivers side running board likes to stay down after the door is closed. It’ll either go up half way then come back down or go up all the way and come back down. If I jump up and down a few times on the running boards and then close my door it usually fixes it. I have cleaned off the hinges with a power washer, but not lubricated them. What’s interesting is that if I start to drive the truck they will almost immediately come back up, and stay up no problem. This seems to only happen while in park or vehicle turned off. Does anyone have any ideas?

🆘 We named this baby Barney. The kindest little dog, the size of a cat.
In the morning, the pharmacy workers said that a couple of days, in front of the dispensary lies a dog, bleeding and whining. So many people passed by, went to the pharmacy, to the grocery store, and there was no reaction. How can you do this?
Girls called all the shelters, a bunch of volunteers and all refused.
🆘 People, we have so many animals, the shelter has 62 kittens, 38 dogs, and one person is pulling it all. It's physically impossible.
We were just getting this little guy when it was raining heavily.
Barney is safe now, he is in the clinic. We do all the tests, make an ultrasound, two paws were injured, as if he was in the meat grinder.
The doctor said: We will try to save this paw. That would be great, but it will be very hard and expensive.

My friend (24m) and me (20m) have known each other practically all our lives because of our dads being friends. We've basically grown up together. We both have season passes to Kings Island and for the last couple weeks have been going atleast once a week to the theme park. We have went 3 1/2 times now (the half was when he invited me along to hang with him and his failed tinder date when my family was up there at the same time lol) and the last times we've went nothing seemed off or abnormal. But the last time we went something felt different by the end of the day. We were just goofing around and hanging out like normal college kids do, but this last time it felt different. By the end of the last trip we had, our legs were chaffed beyond belief due to wearing shorts and riding the water rides, but we had fun. My friend offered to piggyback carry me to the car, which compared to our usual contact was entirely new behavior, as it never went past anything like playfully shoving each other as a joke before. By the time we actually got to the parking lot, we were chasing each other around and goofing off like we were little kids again. Then we finally got to the car and got food, and then made the drive to home. While driving we were singing along to songs that played and it got to a point at one of the songs it almost felt like we were singing to each other, as we kept looking at each other while singing. Maybe I'm just all in my head about it, but I can't stop thinking about the last time we hung out and what was actually going on. Is the vibe changing between us? Am I just falling for him? Am I overanalyzing the whole thing? I feel like the vibe has changed, but maybe its just on my end? i just cant get it out of my mind.
im not sure what to even think of it all but i cant get it out of my head. curious to see if you guys think there may be something new blossoming, or if im just crazy lol. or should i try to see if he's feeling the same way i am?

Hi All,
During the pandemic, I binged watched a wonderful sitcom called The Middle. You may have heard of it. I was instantly charmed by the character of Sue Heck, played by Eden Sher. I looked her up to see what else has she been in and found this show. A show that I admittedly was very skeptical of. An animated Disney show about a magical princess? Surely as an adult I couldn’t enjoy this.
I was wrong.
I watched the first episode and was delightfully hooked. The storylines, humor, art style, voice acting and character development drug me into this amazing world and wouldn’t let me go. Before long, I found myself watching the very last episode. I have never laughed as much, or cried as much, watching anything until I came to this show.
I fell in love.
I wanted to say this because I‘m honestly angry at the hate directed to the show over it’s ending and it’s handling of…let’s call it inter-character relationship development. The anger isn’t because I feel Star vs. the Forces of Evil is above criticism. Nothing is this world is and there are genuine issues with the story and the handling of characters.
What makes me angry is how so many of the commentators, especially YouTubers, seemed to want me to hate the show for these flaws. I rewatched the show and quickly discovered I couldn’t hate it and if anything, I loved it more. Despite it’s flaws, it’s wonderful, it’s perfect.
I’m glad I gave Star vs. a chance. I‘m glad I watched it. I’m glad it exists.
