2023.06.08 19:50 SpritzFinance An important update regarding our referral program
Dear Sprites and the wider Spritz community,
We are thrilled to have recently welcomed so many new users to Spritz, who are looking to "go bankless" by using our bill-pay, off-ramp, and debit card features directly from their self-custody wallets.
Unfortunately, along with the recent wave of new users, there have been many instances of fraud from users taking advantage of our referral program. We need to ensure that Spritz is sustainable and we want to reward the true believers and users of our platform!
So, as of June 8th,
we are pausing our in-app referral program. We understand that many of you are still awaiting pending rewards.
- Any pending rewards will be honored and have been released to users as of this morning.
- We will also honor any new users who joined Spritz through a referral link prior to this announcement.
- All other rewards remain in place, including $10 test payments and your first $100 is free on Spritz every month!
- The affiliate program is unchanged and still going strong!
From now on, the referral link has been temporarily removed from our app. Any referral links that you share will still allow new users to create accounts, but there will be no rewards granted.
This isn’t the end of rewards on Spritz! We want to reward our users and those who are helping us spread the word, so we are currently designing a new program that will be even better. Stay tuned on that! In the meantime, we are sorry we need to make this decision, and hope you will continue to spread the word about Spritz as a platform that enables the true spirit of DeFi. 📷
Cheers! Chris & The Spritz Team

Will Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Release on Streaming?
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be racing onto screens as early as Friday, June 9. While Paramount has announced no streaming plans at this time, big-budget blockbusters like Transformers: Rise of the Beasts typically become available on streaming roughly ninety days after their theatrical run begins. Given that the Transformers franchise rights currently belong to Paramount Pictures, it's more than likely that we'll see the next Transformers film come to Paramount+ once the movie decides to indulge in a streaming release. While not every film from the franchise is currently available on the service, it's hard to imagine that Paramount wouldn't put a big recent release like this onto their own service.
No, Transformers Rise of the Beasts is not yet streaming, so you’ll need to zoom your way to the nearest cinema if you want to see it. We’re sure that you’ll be able to stream Transformers Rise of the Beasts eventually, but Paramount has made it exclusive to cinemas for now. After all, that level of destructive action is best witnessed on a massive screen and through booming speakers.

If you want to bear witness to the Beast Wars and the threat posed to Earth by Unicron – a planet-devouring contender to be one of the best movie villains ever – then you’ll need to head to your nearest multiplex. In common with the rest of the best action movies in this franchise, it’s theatrical or bust to begin with.

The film would, however, very definitely be acquired by services like Funimation , Netflix, and Crunchyroll. As a last consideration, which of these outlets will likely distribute the film worldwide?

When Will Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Be Available On Netflix?
When Will Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Be Available On Netflix? Unfortunately the movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is not yet available on Netflix. Follow us on Facebook to see when Transformers: Rise of the Beasts becomes available on Netflix!
Transformers Rise of the Beasts is too busy shaking cinema walls to be on Netflix just yet. But we’ll keep an eye on the streamer’s catalog and let you know if the new Transformers outing does show up in the future. The streaming giant has a massive catalog of television shows and movies, but it does not include 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.' We recommend our readers watch other dark fantasy films like 'The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.'
Is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts coming to Disney Plus?
Transformers Rise of the Beasts is not on Disney Plus, and we doubt it will end up there any time soon. The new Transformers movie is a Paramount production, so it’s not likely to end up on the streaming arm of a rival studio. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the latest installment in the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts franchise, is coming to Disney+ on July 9th! The simple answer is, probably not, since Paramount Pictures make “Transformers” films, and so this means that the new movie will be streaming exclusively on Paramount+, following a theatrical and digital release.
However, the previous “Transformers” films are spread around a number of different streaming services, depending on what country you are in, due to long-running contracts between the studios and streaming platforms.
Is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts on Amazon Prime?

However, the film may eventually release on the platform as video-on-demand in the coming months.fantasy movies on Amazon Prime's official website. Viewers who are looking for something similar can watch the original show 'Dororo.'
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Will Stream On Paramount+
Transformers: Rise of the Beast is expected to be available to watch via streaming on Paramount Plus by September 9, 2023. Paramount+ is where Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will stream upon its release. Paramount has been in charge of the Transformers movie franchise since it began in 2007 and thus is responsible for releasing every entry in theaters. While the studio might have previously sent its movies to other streaming services like Netflix, the shift to focus more on the development of its own streaming service Paramount+ has changed this tactic. That is why Paramount has released its other major recent blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick or Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on Paramount+ after their theatrical runs conclude.
Want to know how to watch the Transformers movies in order before Rise of the Beasts roars into theaters? You've come to the right place. The seventh entry in Paramount Pictures' Transformers film franchise arrives in cinemas worldwide on Friday, June 9, so you don't have much time left to watch its predecessors at home. But, if you're planning to cram them all in before catching Transformers: Rise of the Beasts this weekend, we're here to help you work out how to watch them in chronological and release date order, and we'll also tell you which of the world's best streaming services have them as part of their movie libraries.
So, if you're ready to be reunited with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and company – and get the lowdown on every Transformers film to be released so far – read on.
Here's How and Where You Can Watch All of the Transformers movies
The best place to start is finding out where you can watch all of the Transformers movies in order in the comfort of your own home. If you're subscribed to Paramount Plus, that's your answer – well, for five of the six films, anyway. Paramount's primary streaming platform is home to the Michael Bay-directed trilogy – Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The streamer's film library is also home to the two Mark Wahlberg-starring flicks, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: The Last Knight.
● Transformers (released on July 3, 2007)
● Revenge of the Fallen (released on June 24, 2009)
● Dark of the Moon (released on June 29, 2011)
● Age of Extinction (released on June 27, 2014)
● The Last Knight (released on June 21, 2017)
● Bumblebee (released on Dec. 21, 2018)
Potential users looking to watch this quintet of movies will want to check out our Paramount Plus price guide to see how much it costs to sign up. Alternatively, you can get the lowdown on whether a Paramount Plus free trial is available, so you can try the service out without paying any money to stream the movies. Unfortunately for Paramount Plus UK and Australian-based users, the sixth entry in the action sci-fi franchise, 2018's Bumblebee, isn't available on British shores as part of the package.
US subscribers can catch Bumblebee on Paramount Plus (and Fubo, for what it's worth), but UK and Australian fans will have to look elsewhere to get the full Transformers movies in order experience. Here's where UK and Australian viewers can watch Bumblebee instead:
● Australia – rent or buy via the Amazon, Apple TV Google Play, Microsoft, or YouTube stores
● UK – rent or buy via the Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, Microsoft, Rakuten, Sky, or YouTube stores
Will Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Be On HBO Max?
No, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Paramount Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.
Disney may have made billions with last year’s mega-blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water, but for now it’s going to share the streaming success. The Steven Caple Jr. directed sequel is coming to streaming on September 11 and though the film was distributed by Disney, Disney+ won’t be the only place to see it. You can see it there as well as Max, aka HBO Max.
Is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new animation movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.
No, 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' is unavailable on Hulu. People who have a subscription to the platform can enjoy 'Afro Samurai Resurrection' or 'Ninja Scroll.'

You can also rent or buy the movie on iTunes or Google Play. You can also watch it on-demand or on a streaming app available on your TV or streaming device if you have cable.
When Will Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Be on DVD and Blu-ray?
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will likely be coming to DVD and Blu-ray around the same time as the streaming release. With theatrical films, on average, coming to streaming sooner than ever (usually ninety days after theatrical release), we'll likely see Transformers: Rise of the Beasts get a DVD, and Blu-ray release no later than Fall 2023. Transformers Rise of the Beasts isn’t on Blu-ray yet but will join the rest of the franchise on disc before the end of 2023. There are plenty of fancy releases and box sets of the other Transformers movies, so we’re sure this one will be available to buy in all of its 4K glory very soon.

● Anthony Ramos as Noah Diaz
● Dominique Fishback as Elena Wallace
● Luna Lauren Vélez as Mrs Diaz

● Peter Dinklage as Scourge

What Transformers: Rise of the Beasts About:
Optimus Prime and the Autobots take on their biggest challenge yet. When a new threat capable of destroying the entire planet emerges, they must team up with a powerful faction of Transformers known as the Maximals to save Earth. For a while, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts looked like it might be another Bumblebee--a Transformers movie that lacks any of the pizzazz of the Michael Bay flicks but which actually tells a decent story about characters you actually care about. For the first 45 minutes to an hour, we get the most compelling and relatable version yet of the story about a regular person accidentally becoming friends with an alien robot who was secretly a car. But then the plot really kicks in, and suddenly we're watching a Michael Bay Transformers movie--but without Bay's skill as an action filmmaker.
It’s a tale as old as time: A human character stumbles upon a group of Transformers that includes Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and Bumblebee (voiceless yet again), and gets roped into their battle with an evil faction, which inevitably involves a race for a piece of Transformers tech that has the power to destroy the world. 2023.06.08 19:50 michiboy12 Honestly, should I just quit? Or wait until the algorithm changes again?
I know I’ve been complaining a lot on this sub. But seriously: I have 123K followers, In the last 3 months I lost 2K (so I used to have 125K), that means I did not grow AT ALL since March (algorithm update)! Until the algorithm update I would usually wake up with at least 50 new followers and most of the time 100+ new followers. Now I wake up with maybe 2 new followers. With 123K??!! It’s ridiculous. And I do not gain them because I lose more + Now TT is deleting bots (A friend of mine who almost had 300K lost 10K+ followers, it’s pathetic). What do I do? 2 months ago people said it ‘would be over soon’ and where are we now? Still not over. I know my content also matters, but with 120K+ it cannot be since that would mean like my page is fully suppressed, since gaining 2 followers in like 8 hours with 120K is not normal, something is definitely going on. Did anyone already quit posting (for now)? And what should I do?

2023.06.08 19:50 radcheese Confusion about nighttime wakings with pacifier SWAP
Hi all! I am on day 3 of weaning off the pacifier using PLS SWAP method. Bedtime was a lot better on the second night but he woke up at 9:30, 10:30, and 12:15. Per the books recommendation, I let him fall back asleep on his own the first two wake ups. At 12:15, I tried the pull out method (which is what I was using at bedtime) and we did this for 45 minutes until it was pretty much time to eat anyway so I just fed him to sleep. He then woke up a little after putting him down and fussed a bit until falling back asleep.
My confusion comes from the book saying that feeding to sleep after midnight is fine, so then is the pacifier also fine after midnight? Like have him use it until he's fallen asleep and then take it out? The book makes it seem like bottle/boob/pacifier are all the same.
I am also confused about early morning wakeups. Baby woke up at 6am (he normally sleeps until after 7) so I fed him and he fell asleep eating. He woke up while moving him to the crib and then couldn't fall back asleep on his own. Would I ruin our nighttime progress if I give him the pacifier in the morning? He was definitely still tired but I don't think there was enough sleep pressure for him to fall asleep on his own.
I am tired and confused lol

2023.06.08 19:50 DazedandConfused741 20 years of marriage and questioning everything. Need help.
TA account for obvious reasons. I'm not sure where to begin but I'm having deeper and deeper feelings of leaving my wife after 20 years of marriage. This has been going on for at least a few years, if not 5 or more. It's off and on but more on than off, especially lately. The scary thing is, I don't think she has any idea that I'm feeling this way. I can't talk to her about it. More on that below.
A little background on us. We met young and got married young. No kids, never wanted them at the same time. It's way past that point now. Part of me always thought having kids would be the end of us because she gets so stressed at the smallest things all the time, like walking the dog or something dumb like that. She hasn't worked for over half of our marriage. I make enough money with my job to take care of us. We generally have a good time together. We travel a lot. I put on a front of being truly happy and in love for others online and in person around friends and family. She has no friends and does little to try to make friends. She volunteers and comes home.
The truth is, she annoys me multiple times a day. We're very different now than we were when we met in college. I cherish the times she's not home so I can do what I want without being made guilty. We used to get into big arguments all of the time. For the past few years, I have just shut up and let her be mean. She assumes everything she thinks is the absolute truth. There is no way of proving that she is wrong. Even when I have proof, it gets turned back around on me. I just gave up with the fighting and go do my thing.
The spark is gone. We try to make love but it's just so boring and plain. I try to spice things up but she's either tired or it hurts or she doesn't feel well or she doesn't feel sexy enough. She doesn't try anything. I tell her over and over how beautiful she is. Doesn't matter. So, lately I've been thinking about cheating as an option. And I quickly realized that I wasn't that type of person. Never tried it but definitely did some searching to see what's out there. It excites me. But I can't do that to someone. It's not fair. I masturbate on average once a day, wishing I could be with someone else. She decoded my computer password about 15 years ago and saw I had looked at porn, which devastated her for weeks. She has no idea I still look at it often and would lose her mind if she knew. She'd lose her mind if she knew I was thinking of other women at all. I don't have an addiction, I just want something different and porn allows me to mentally have that without cheating. But it gets old too. very woman I look at, I think I'd either fuck or not fuck. I'm hungry for love and attention.
She never helps around the house. I clean, cook, do laundry, pay the bills, etc. She always has excuses for that. And the one time she does decide to help, she gets so stressed she has to go smoke weed or she bitches about everything the whole time. I cook every other day on average. She cooks once a year if I'm lucky.
I'm left with two options currently. One, stay how things are and just understand I'm stuck and won't be truly happy for the rest of my life. Go about the status quo. Live with the thought of always being judged. Maybe things get better for a little bit here and there. Two, I leave her. If I do, I'm not looking for marriage and kids and all of that. It's past that for me. But I wouldn't mind having the option to go out and be me, meet other women, explore some things sexually. See where things go. I do love my wife. She's a sweet person. The biggest reason I am scared of this is because I know she is going to be deeply hurt and caught off guard. I don't like seeing her hurt. But does that mean I just need to suck it up and deal with it? We only live once. And we need to be selfish in our decisions sometimes.
I know I'll think of other stuff to add to this and I'll put edits below. Before you start ripping me, please consider I'm a human being and I'm trying to go about things the "right" way with this. Reaching out for help from internet strangers because I don't want to involve anyone I know with this right now. It's too delicate. I'm just lost but am getting older and want to figure things out. Maybe it's a mid-life crisis. Who knows. Thanks for your help in whatever way it comes.
tl;dr Scared to hurt my wife by telling her I want to leave her but also am in need of more than she is able to give me.

2023.06.08 19:49 KtradingView Space Stocks coming back?
The recent news of a whistleblower from an intelligence agency claiming that the government possesses ‘intact and partially intact’ craft of non-human origin has sent shockwaves throughout the world. This could be the start of a race to space as we have never seen before, with implications for the global economy.
If more evidence were to come out, it could lead to a surge in investment in companies working on space exploration technology, such as Iridium Communications ($IRDM), Viasat ($VSAT), Rocket Lab ($RKLB) and Aerojet Rocketdyne ($AJRD).
This could be the beginning of an alien gold rush. With new technology being developed every day, this could open up opportunities for new businesses and investments that no one had ever imagined before. It is an exciting time for those interested in space exploration and its potential economic benefits.

We think Transformers Rise of the Beasts will be available on Prime Video before the end of 2023, but it’s not there yet. The other Transformers movies are available to rent or purchase on the Prime Video platform. Amazon Prime's current catalog does not include 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.' However, the film may eventually release on the platform as video-on-demand in the coming months.fantasy movies on Amazon Prime's official website.

With theatrical films, on average, coming to streaming sooner than ever (usually ninety days after theatrical release), we'll likely see Transformers: Rise of the Beasts get a DVD, and Blu-ray release no later than Fall 2023.

2023.06.08 19:49 JamieAtlas Ex took my 12/14 kids on vacation and let her boyfriends 25 year old son share a hotel room???
So during a week my ex had the kids, she took my kids, her boyfriend (of 3 years), boyfriends son and my 12 year old son and 14 year old daughter in vacation for 3 nights (they live in Colorado and the vacation was in the mountains area) they got an Airbnb.
Side note: I get them week on week off and am about to go back to meditation in a few months to get payments adjusted since I have been overpaying the past couple years but have been letting it slide in the name of goodwill.
The event in question: The first night the ex'es boyfriends 25yr old son slept in the same hotel room as the kids. This apparently was not ok with anyone, except for the boyfriends dad who apparently thought it was ok (according to my daughters story she told me today).
The next 2 nights the boyfriends son slept in a different room away from the kids, but I'm still outraged that this happened at all. To me this is how the horror stories sometimes begin.
I don't know the young man's background and have met him once, I'm tempted to do a background check on him but also to call CPS and get them to go interview everybody. I want to protect my kids and keep them safe, but also want to make sure if I'm going to go down this rabbithole I can learn from the experience of others who might have similar stories.
Thoughts/advice on what to do(and why!) Moving forward. Don't want to come at her without knowing what I'm talking about yet ..
Thanks all, much appreciated.

2023.06.08 19:49 vGenesiss AITA for having my roommate arrested after a drunken episode?
This happened a couple years ago at the time I (29m) just bought my first home. After moving in and getting settled my roommate(24f) moved in. Everything was going great until my roommate got really drunk to the point they became a different person. I was in my room getting ready for bed as I worked early mornings. My roommate comes to my room obviously drunk and begins shouting at me for no reason. I took them back to there room and went back to mine. A couple hours after that I hear a crash, I check what was going on and I find my roommate standing over a full crockpot of food that was thrown on the ground. I begin cleaning up and it's about 11:30 pm and my roommate is still going on with her drunkenness and began throwing more stuff. At this point I'm at a lose of what to do, I ended up calling the cops and they came and arrested her. I feel bad because I called them but at the same time I was in a position where I had no control so AITA?

2023.06.08 19:49 PleasantExchange4490 Taking Elementary Algebra in college and need study advice
For some background: I'm in my 30s, a university graduate, and my math skills have foundational gaps. Despite that, I have a successful career in a very technical field. I finished College Algebra with a low B, and went on to do poorly in the calculus sequence. But it was good enough to graduate. I feel like my math skills have been holding me back from more specialized roles. Kahn Academy and YouTube videos are too rote, and don't offer feedback. So I've enrolled in a local community college to take classes.
The problem is that I was placed into Elementary Algebra and I'm struggling. Right now we're covering fractions, decimals, and rational numbers. During lectures the material looks obvious and familiar. But when applying the concepts on assignments, I end up lost with the more complex questions. Simplifying fractions, arithmetic with unlike terms, arithmetic with decimals and signed numbers are some examples. Tutoring has helped a lot. I walk away feeling confident (and silly). But I'm still sometimes making conceptual mistakes and having to study a lot more than I expected.
Does anyone else have this experience? It feels odd solving complex problems during my day job and struggling with middle school math at night. I never developed math study skills because most of school came really easily to me without any effort. This time around, I'm paying attention in lectures, taking notes, reviewing them multiple times, practicing, and getting tutoring. Is there anything I can do, or should be doing, differently? I'm not worried about passing the class. My goal is to fill gaps and ultimately prepare myself for linear algebra.

2023.06.08 19:49 jasgaspy [M4M] Myth, Folklore and Legend Based RP
!!!Please read to the very end to be considered when DMing!!!
Hi everyone! I'm JJ, 24 years old with about a decade in roleplay experience. I'm looking to do a plot centered around beings of myth, legend and folklore with a strong focus on that aspect. Our ideas of mythology can come from anywhere in the world, from ancient Greece, Indian mythology, or take inspiration from the various cryptids said to roam about the United States. I'm mainly interested in creating our own versions or personifications of these myths and playing them out either within their own worlds, or as cultures that cross over and interact that way.
RP Preferences:
-3rd person lit to advanced lit writer, and I tend to write anywhere from 3-10 paragraphs, but make exceptions for less if there's not much else going on. -OC and OC RP only -Fave genres are fantasy, modern or historical. I'm not as familiar with futuristic rps, though I'd be down to give them a try! I like to have romance involved in any plot I do, and am down to double up on plots if we get along well together as well!
Speaking of plots, I do have a few ideas I'd be willing to try and share! I'd like to do some heavy brainstorming with my partners, as this also depends on what aspects and versions of myth they find interesting. The world we'd be operating in could be modern or historical, as I can see fun times with both!
Partner preferences:
-21+
-Use Discord.
-also be lit to advanced lit, or at least semi lit. English doesn't have to be your first language and you don't have to be a perfect writer, just as long as I can understand it or you're willing to talk through any misunderstandings.
-experienced in roleplay. I love banter and plotting and worldbuilding, so please be ready to dig your hands in if you message me.
-similar timezone (EST) is a bonus but not a requirement. I'm a fairly regular roleplayer and can reply often, but I'm not a stickler for timely replies bc life comes first and everyone's schedules and needs are different.
So! If the description sounds like you, and you like this idea, please hit me up! I'm only looking to play as and with male OCs right now, but idc what gender you are irl.
To be considered for roleplay, give me some insight in your first message on who I'm talking to. Let me know your age, rp preferences, availability, writing level, and what you're looking for in a partner and roleplay. If you have a preferred oc or a plot you've been dying to do, let me know that as well! If you start with a simple message, or ask if I'm still accepting partners, I likely won't respond at all and if I do, it's just gonna be me telling you to actually read the post. If I see you put in a good effort but we aren't ultimately a good match, I'll let you know so you won't be left hanging or anything as I understand that can be frustrating for the person who wrote a decent sized intro. If we talked before and somehow got disconnected before things got started, feel free to reconnect as well! I do get distracted and reddit hates sending me notifications.
I can't wait to see you in my dms, and I'm always looking for new partners!

2023.06.08 19:49 cookedmayor Thanks Jagex for perm muting my main today because I didn't support your LGBT event.
| I'm not surprised with how this game is going with their blatant left-wing ideals. So just now while online I felt something amiss, logged out and saw this message that my account (main) is permanently muted. It says there is evidence, like most mutes comes with the chat history. But this just shows me a generic copy-pasted message from Jagex essentially saying "trust us bro". So left without any evidence, I thought to myself: what the fuck did I say today that got me perm muted? All I remember is that I said something critical about the pride event. Along the lines of "I'm not doing this event because I don't support it." I may have also called it stupid. This is my personal view and I should be entitled to it, whether you find offensive or not. Giving a perm mute on my main for being critical about your pride event is stupid as hell Anyways that's the last straw for me. I'm not going to waste my hours levelling another account just to get taken down by Jagex because I don't support whatever thing they support. Also there's no message telling me of the "one last chance" in any of my previous mutes. Safe to say my account got executed because of the LGBT event. Bare in mind, I didn't attend any "march" or do the event. I was minding my own business in the GE today. submitted by cookedmayor to oldschoolrs [link] [comments] |
2023.06.08 19:49 alicizzle Help understanding integration/growth type?
So I’m pretty new to enneagram as it took me a long time to connect to it and understand it. I still have my skepticisms, but putting that aside…
My therapist has been exploring core fears with me related to stuff going on in my life. I’m also a therapist 🤓 They’d suggested perhaps I’m struggling with a fear of being misunderstood and it was significantly more resonant than talking about being needed. I’ve worked a lot on codependent behaviors for years and gotten much better at reprioritizing myself, understanding my own needs, communicating honestly etc.
HOWEVER, after digging in more to understand how I could ever be a 4…I realized I’m definitely a 2 😂 My perceptions of what it means to be needed are just different, but the core desire/longing resonates with me. I’ve had a long time fear that people love me for what they get from me but not for who I am. Even though giving isn’t solely performative or manipulative for me. (I can definitely do that but authenticity is very important to me; I’m aware of my ability to manipulate and thus work to keep that in check.)
I have my own inklings and will continue to discuss with my therapist, but curious for input: If I’ve been integrating and working on growth for years, could I be experiencing the fear of the 4?
I also feel like I’m different, I’m just more shy about it; it’s more internally experienced but it isn’t a core focus of my life. Authenticity and integrity are values of mine. I feel very misunderstood often and find it tiring. But again, type 2 overall resonates with me more than 4 😂🙃
Anyway, wall of words - I have ADHD, thanks if you read it all 🤓

2023.06.08 19:49 Embarrassed-Bass-853 Weight issues
Hello all,
I’m currently 38. When I was in my early 20s I really ballooned. I genuinely had no concept that what I ate would lead to weight gain - no real appreciation of nutrition. At my heaviest I was just over 14 stone and am 5 foot 7.5 in height.
When I was 25, my father in law died very suddenly which scared me into losing weight. I did this by walking 25 mins every day, a little bit of running and by being incredibly strict about what I ate. I would aim for no more thab 1200 calories a day.
I also started weighing myself many times a day. It developed to the point where I would be desperate for a bowel movement in order to see the scales go down, I would be afraid of drinking anything before 12pm in case it affected my daily weigh in at 12.30pm. I was constantly tired and hungry. I would be afraid of work gathering where lunch was provided as I couldn’t control what I ate.
A typical daily eating regime would be porridge (oatmeal) and fruit for breakfast, eggs on toast for lunch and tuna salad with a baked potato for tea. My wife was insistent that I wasn’t eating enough, however I convinced myself that I looked good and thin (she says I was gaunt.)
I would also treat myself to a big feast on my Friday day off (normally domino’s pizza in the evening) which I would then need to be strict over to get rid of all that I had eaten.
This continued til about 2021. I remember going out with my wife for lunch and having a huge stress moment about what I was going to eat. At that moment I realised I needed help and sort out a nutritionist.
Since July 2021 then, I haven’t used my scales once and have tried to eat more normally.
HOWSVER: the cost of this is that I have put weight on. My wife insists I look good but all I can see is fat. As I type this I am sitttinf here looking at my stomach going over my waist band - at my thinnest it was flat. For what it’s worth, all my clothes still fit and I haven’t had to buy any bigger.
The problem is I feel I have lost the discipline I once enjoyed: I was so strict with what I ate, when I ate and with exercise, but I feel that the cost of eating more normally means I have lost that discipline.
I am terrified of putting any more weight on. I am about to go out with some friends for a curry as a leaving do and all I can think about is how I look, what I will eat etc. I think about my weight each and every day.
Nothing really that can be said but just needed to share how crippling it is.

2023.06.08 19:49 koruseonly M1 using USB Hub with PD
I have a Macbook Air M1 running 13.3.1 Ventura and was wondering about a few things regarding the use of a USB Hub.
- Has anyone read any new cases of M1 macbooks getting bricked when using a USB Hub with PD (Power Delivery)? (Hoping that this has been fixed since macbooks have very limited ports and USB Hubs are very much needed)
- Does PD also supply power to peripherals plugged in to the hub at the same time charging the macbook? Example being two to three (2 to 3) 4TB external harddrives
My setup right now if one (1) usb port on my macbook is occupied by a display port for my 4K monitor and the other available usb port is used for the usb hub.
Planning to move files from multiple harddrives at the same time so im pretty much lost if i could use the PD to power them or should I just buy a powered usb hub with an external power source.
Regardless, i will still be needing a port for charging so i was hoping that the USB Hub with PD would solve my problem.
Sorry for the long post and hoping someone will be able to enlighten me with my dilemma.
Big thanks!

2023.06.08 19:48 Real_Eyezz Sub update
The sub size is still small in relation to the sister sub
beyond_uranus We'll need delegates for any voting to happen here. Until /unless we have interest in people being delegates, and the minimum delegates needed, the sub will just buy ran as is. That's A ok, whatever the people who come here are interested in.
There's a new widget on the side that links to the governance option for the sub and details on delegates and the processes there.

2023.06.08 19:48 ageknight10 Really upset Shyvana isnt getting that Ultimate Skin.
https://youtu.be/WUttY3xVF1Q I seriously wish they would stop pussy footing around and do a Nintendo Direct style of update video where they go over much more stuff that they have in the works, give teasers, show off some concept art, just anything. Yeah they showed art from Lee Sin and Teemo, but guess what? they still look like Lee Sin and Teemo. What a shocker. Everything ive seen people say about these ASU's is "Jesus christ? its gonna be another year before theyre done? Guess we shouldnt expect anything else for Nocturne or Shyvana then?
Also the fact that its been like 3 skin lines and many other announced, topping off the new Mythic skin for Leona, and now 2 others are getting it. Meanwhile Shyvana still hasnt gotten anything, tho, neither has Mundo and he was announced to get something at the same time.
Youre probably right, my fault for expecting SOMETHING. Was just blind optimism that, when they said "New Ultimate Skin" and "Coming Soon" the name that followed would be Shyvana and not another champion who is more popular because they actually have a playable kit that gets reworked every 2 months. Tho i wouldve been alright if it was Mundo, cuz that was one we were also expecting. No one said Senna, Leona, Taliyah and Ashe.
TL;DR: Im salty and im making it everyone's problem.

2023.06.08 19:48 ExactAbbreviations15 Karma unfolding is not sexy
Just witnessing my life. It’s just mundane things. I’m quitting my family business. Caught up in work politics. These emotions I am identifying it with. All so mundane yet in my face and seems compelling. Why cant i have cool karma unfolding like going on an adventure with gandalf.
Regardless, I just feel life throws shit at you that’s messy. And you just gotta not give a shit about being in these messy situations. To be at peace with oneself while doing things that hurt others emotions, failing others and such. It’s easier to not care about desiring good feelings, people being mean to you or encountering pain.
I just need to let go of this ego idea that life will be smooth, that I will always be this virtuous person, that I’m always gonna be a good person. It’s just so crazy that we’re doing this “highest good” but sometimes life is gonna make you play the role of this drama karen.
I’m just not ok with playing roles of the angry, uncontrolled and frustrated character. Not that the feelings bother me but the perception of others that I am this and myself too unaccepting of that.
Imagine the horror of having to live out a serial killers life while on the inside you’re praying for the love and well being of others. Not that my life is a serial killer but I just feel like my actions don’t match up to what we’re striving for. Fuck
Tl:dr. it sucks witnessing this flawed ego character doing ego shit when you know you are the divine.

2023.06.08 19:48 TommyVazquez Why couldn't Aang enter the Avatar state in book 3?
The other day I was on Youtube, and in the comment section of a video, I noticed a lot of people saying that Aang wouldn't have beaten Ozai if he hadn't been hit with a pointy rock in the back.
I was quick to point out that the spike didn't fix Aang's back. It triggered his PTSD (of being shot by lightning) which triggered the avatar state.
Ever since I first watched the show (many years ago), this is what I've always known to be true, and I thought it should've been obvious.
Now I'm starting to see that most people and webpages say that the spike fixed his back, and I'm like "Really? How so?"
I can see the points some people bring up, saying that a physical wound could cause an inability to trigger the avatar state, and I agree. After all, this was proven to be the case in the legend of Korra.
But, I ask, since when did throwing rocks at someone's wounds became a valid treatment for back injuries? Or, what kind of back injury is treated with acupunture/beatings?
It couldn't be burned skin, obviously. So, nerve damage? Perhaps, but acupuncture doesn't cure nerve damage as far as I know. For nerves to be cured, they need years to heal on their own. And sometimes it's impossible to cure nerve damage.
A dislocated vertabrae? That sounded reasonable. Except for the fact that Aang's gait, his movements, or his range of motion don't seem to be affected throughout season 3. So, how could it be that?
Could it have been a blocked energy path (whatever that means)? I suppose it could have been, given that Katara mentions that Aang has a lot of blocked energy where he was shot. Still, she released that energy herself.
Were there wounds she couldn't heal? That's certainly possible. Still, how is it that water does nothing and haphazardly thrown rock cures it? Did it land in the cure-all button? It doesn't make any sense.
And so, I'm back to explaining my thread of logic. He couldn't trigger the avatar state because of PTSD. He was afraid of not being in control for two reasons.
One, he was shot while in the avatar state, so he felt vulnerable. He felt that he might not be able to defend himself consciously, like when Azula shot him.
Two, he also fears not been able to control himself. That is, he feels that he could accidentally kill Ozai if he goes into the avatar state.
And now, my explanation. When the spike hit his back, a sharp pain entered his body, which reminded him of the time he was shot by Azula.
It's incredible how pain works. It overwhelms any other emotion. So, this pain made him lose control, and he finally stopped trying not to enter the avatar state.
That, to me, is how he was able to trigger the avatar state. Not a physical wound, but a psychological fear of losing control.
Does anyone know if the creator has confirmed anything? Or if there's a comic that explains it?

2023.06.08 19:48 Fancyunicornfluff I did it and so can you
Last June I was in your shoes…prepping for the upcoming bar exam. However, I was 10 years out of law school (never took any other bar exam), have three young kids and a partner who just didn’t understand how to keep them quiet and busy, AND I was working (remote) at a law firm full time and doing freelance work on the side. I ended up passing the Ohio bar exam on my first try. Here’s how:
- Set a schedule. I studied early before the kids woke up and late after they went to bed - while I wasn’t working.
- Take breaks. I took a couple of hours every day and half a weekend day each week to spend time with the family. I also took loooooooong showers to listen to music and decompress. I even rented a petting zoo to come to my house and let me cuddle their baby animals (kids loved it, but it was really for me). Naps were essential.
- Get help with everyday tasks. I ended up hiring a part time nanny (remember I was still working FT and freelancing a total of probably 60-70 hrs a week on top of studying) and I also used delivery services for everything possible. I even hired a maid every few weeks to deep clean. This isn’t possible for everyone. But there’s probably something you can outsource.
- Get professional help if needed. I ended up taking some anxiety meds (which I’d never needed before) and increasing the frequency of therapy.
- Trust the process. I used Themis. You might use Bar Bri. Those services are frustrating, but they know what they’re doing. Also, if part of the program doesn’t work for you, don’t waste time on it (I skipped flash cards but did more of other things).
- Use all the resources. My favorites were podcasts (while I was in the car) and JD Advising sheets (learned about these waaaay too late; they’re amazing).
This was absolutely one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. (Much harder than childbirth. Lol) I felt so alone. I didn’t feel like anyone really understood what I was going through. Use your resources to stay sane and keep your eye on the prize. Just a few more weeks and you’ll be done!
