But one of the more memorable years that we have experienced during the 10’s decade without a doubt was 2017. While its debatable on whether or not 2017 was the best year for gaming within the 10’s decade there were definitely a ton positives from that time period in general. It was back in March 2017 that the world got to within the release of the Nintendo Switch along with Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. Since its release the Switch console had sold at least 52 million units worldwide and it was recently reported that it surpassed the SNES in sales. Also, The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild has become one of the most popular installments within the entire series and has reached at least 18 million units worldwide as it pertains in sales. During the second half 2017 we got to witness the release of Splatoon 2 and the critically acclaimed Super Mario Odyssey game for the Nintendo Switch which are both very popular to this day. While Splatoon 2 is considered to be a high profile third person shooter for the Switch console Super Mario Odyssey has went on to sell over 16 million copies worldwide. In addition, to the Nintendo Switch becoming very successful the world also got see the release of the SNES Classic in late September 2017. In some electronic retail stores within America the SNES Classic was sold out before its official because pre-orders for the mini retro console were very high. The SNES Classic included various 16-bit gems that were considered to be legendary such as: Super Mario World, Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past, F-Zero, Star Fox, Super Metroid, Earthbound, Mega Man X, Yoshi’s Island and more. Not only was the SNES Classic more popular than the NES Classic from 2016 but the console managed to reach over five million units in sales. Therem was no question that 2017 was great year for Nintendo financially along the fact the company received a ton of mainstream attention in general. https://preview.redd.it/nuci46grz85b1.jpg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f8460cec6190a098aa2c805dbd4470013f59dc7 We also got to see the release of the Xbox One X back in 2017. The Xbox One X was backwards compatible with older generation titles from the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. It should also be noted that the Xbox One X was the first console that Microsoft had produced that ran games in 4K resolution. The Xbox One X was not only an updated model of the original Xbox One console but it was also designed to compete with Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro which came out in November 2016. While pricing for the Xbox One X was more expensive than people would prefer some argue that its quality is more superior than that of the PS4 Pro. Not only did the Xbox One X provide 4K resolution gameplay but players had 1TB of hard drive storage at their disposal. It was also during 2017 when the gaming world was introduced to one of the most popular online games of the 10’s decade known as Fortnite created by Epic Games. The third person survival-shooter game was initially released back in July 2017 and within a short period of time the game had over one million players. Fortnite was a game that utilized the Unreal Engine 4 and was released for multiple game systems such as the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. As contributions to the gaming world is concerned many people would credit Fortnite for making the Battle Royale concept popular over the past few years. We have seen various games utilize Battle Royale modes between 2017-2019 such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Call Of Duty: Black Ops IV and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. By the time we got to the Summer of 2018 Fortnite had at least 125 million players and in terms of revenue the game had generated at least $2.4 billion. Since its release Fortnite has remained popular at various eSports events and has received numerous awards from various different gaming entities under categories from “Best Multiplayer” to “Best ESports” game. Speaking of online games it should also be noted that 2017 was also the same year that League Of Legends which was released in late ’09 flourished financially. As far as monetary gain is concerned it’s reported that Riot Games had earned $2.1 billion from League Of Legends during 2017 which was significantly more revenue than what it has generated during 2016, 2018 or 2019. League Of Legends seemed more popular in 2017 than any other year during the 10’s decade and Epic Games was doing some of its best business. There were so many big things within the gaming world that happened 2017 that it could possibly take days to highlight all of them. While everyone has their own respective opinions on which year of the 10’s decade was the best in relation to gaming many people would most likely put 2017 within the top five on their lists. submitted by GamingHearts1 to u/GamingHearts1 [link] [comments] |

2023.06.10 22:07 Public-Guidance-6102 My Top 10 Favorite TNCT Mods REDUX
- 2000b. I know some people aren't the biggest fans of Dukakisverse but I like it and Pat Buchanan's comeback arc is ironic to the point where it might actually make sense. It also gives a very realistic sense into what an Al Gore presidency would have looked like, with lots of ups and downs.
- 1872 (specifically the Greeley side). This is a very well done mod and gives us a good look at Gilded Age politics, where the Democrats hadn't really come back yet and the match up was two Republicans. The last question with Greeley is particularly intriguing with his looming death at the time of the election. It would be cool to see an 1876 mod where Greeley wins but dies before he is sworn in.
- 1900 George Dewey. The newest mod on my list, 1900 Dewey is an extremely excellent mod. I had never even heard of George Dewey two weeks ago but the moment I started playing it I loved it. George Dewey is an interesting person overall as well. Bonus points for no RNG questions which having a lot of them can be kind of annoying.
- 1948Red. The polar opposite of 1948IW, 1948Red is just a better look into a Henry Wallace presidency. I hated both 1948 IW and Red at first but Red grew on me and has risen up my list to my top 10.
- 1988Biden. I love this mod mostly because it shows how old Biden is (just kidding). I love the VP selection (I always go Bentsen) and is overall a great mod, some may call it a joke mod but Biden actually did run in 88.
- 1916b. I still love this mod. I have said way too much about it and how I don't lie 1920 and 24 b as much because I am a TR stan. Just read my past one about it.
- VK68. Damn, this was number 10 last time and it has really climbed up for me. I still prefer VK64 but I underrated it a bit.
- Number 8 last time but has risen up my list. Very historically accurate. However, and I know a lot of you are gonna come at me with pitchforks, it is a little long, I'm sorry. Everything else is great and it should be on the main loader
- Midnight64. Ok, when this first came out I had no idea why everyone liked it, but after playing it a few times, I understand now. LBJ resigning path is really good and pro CRA Goldwater is also interesting.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
1936L, 1996Powell, 2008 Trump Democrat, 1972d, 1972.
- 2012 Chris-Chan. Just a masterpiece from start to finish, amazing writing, should go on the main loader... wait, 2012 Chris-Chan, I didn't mean that, what I really meant to say was1.(for
- 1. (real) VK64. Still my favorite mod, I love it from start to finish, difficulty level is not guaranteed even against Goldwater, love it, stoked for VK72.

2023.06.10 22:07 RevolutionarySpend30 Should I have road-tested a new Timing Belt?
Hey everyone!
So I’m going to go out on a limb and embarrass myself here for the benefit of my knowledge and for those on this sub.
I replaced the timing belt and water pump on a friends VW Golf Plus with the 1.6 BSE Engine.
After I had everything back together she started right up and ran like a dream. I proceeded to top up the coolant with the ac blower on its lowest and temperature on its highest, and once the engine temp stayed at a stable 90 degrees Celsius I topped up coolant to max and then called it a day.
That means I had the engine running for 15 Minutes with the new belt and pump and gave it a couple revs (up to max 3,000 rpm).
I’m back home now and wondering if I should have road tested the car to see if the timing belt tensioner (also new) remains in proper tension position under load? Or if the new belt in general sits right?
Background: I’m an apprentice BMW tech and the last Timing Belt I did was today on my friends VW 😂 needless to say the only thing I’ve done so far timing wise is chains so I’m not sure.

2023.06.10 21:58 teruteru-fan-sam 27 club+ ratio
Informative, but however I can't believe that he didn't talk about how The 27 Club is an informal list consisting mostly of popular musicians, artists, actors, and other celebrities who died at age 27. Although the claim of a "statistical spike" for the death of musicians at that age has been refuted by scientific research, it remains a cultural phenomenon, with many celebrities who die at 27 noted for their high-risk lifestyles. Beginning with the deaths of several 27-year-old popular musicians between 1969 and 1971, dying at the age of 27 came to be, and remains, a perennial subject of popular culture, celebrity journalism, and entertainment industry lore. This cultural phenomenon, which came to be known as the "27 Club," attributes special significance to popular musicians, artists, actors, and other celebrities who died at age 27, often as a result of drug and alcohol abuse or violent means such as homicide, suicide, or transportation-related accidents. Several exhibitions have been devoted to the idea, as well as novels, films and stage plays. The cultural phenomenon also gave rise to an urban myth that celebrity deaths are more common at 27, a claim that has been refuted by statistical research. Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison all died at the age of 27 between 1969 and 1971. Blues musician Robert Johnson, who died in 1938, is one of the earliest popular musicians to be included in lists of 27 Club members.
According to Hendrix and Kurt Cobain's biographer Charles R. Cross, the growing importance of the media—Internet, magazines, and television—and the response to an interview of Cobain's mother were jointly responsible for such theories. An excerpt from a statement that Cobain's mother, Wendy Fradenburg Cobain O'Connor, made in the Aberdeen, Washington, newspaper The Daily World—"Now he's gone and joined that stupid club. I told him not to join that stupid club."—referred to Hendrix, Joplin, and Morrison dying at the same age, according to Cross. Other authors share his view. On the other hand, Eric Segalstad, writer of The 27s: The Greatest Myth of Rock & Roll, assumed that Cobain's mother referred to the death of his two uncles and his great-uncle, all of whom had also committed suicide. According to Cross, the events have led a "set of conspiracy theorists [to suggest] the absurd notion that Kurt Cobain intentionally timed his death so he could join the 27 Club".
In 2011, seventeen years after Cobain's death, Amy Winehouse died at the age of 27, prompting a renewed swell of media attention devoted to the club once again. Three years earlier, she had expressed a fear of dying at that age.
An individual does not necessarily have to be a musician to qualify as a "member" of the 27 Club. Rolling Stone included television actor Jonathan Brandis, who committed suicide in 2003, in a list of 27 Club members. Anton Yelchin, who had played in a punk rock band but was primarily known as a film actor, was also described as a member of the club upon his death in 2016. Likewise, Jean-Michel Basquiat has been included in 27 Club lists, despite the relative brevity of his music career, and his prominence as a painter.
According to music biographer Charles R. Cross, "The number of musicians who passed away at 27 is truly remarkable by any standard. Though humans die regularly at all ages, there is a statistical spike for musicians who die at 27." Despite the cultural significance given to musician and celebrity deaths at age 27, the claim that they are statistically more common at this age is an urban myth, refuted by scientific research. A study by university academics published in the British Medical Journal in December 2011 concluded that there was no increase in the risk of death for musicians at the age of 27, stating that there were equally small increases at ages 25 and 32. The study noted that young adult musicians have a higher death rate than the general young adult population, surmising that "fame may increase the risk of death among musicians, but this risk is not limited to age 27". The selection criteria for the musicians included in the study, based on having scored a UK No. 1 album between 1956 and 2007, excluded several notable members of the 27 Club, including Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, Pete Ham, and Ron "Pigpen" McKernan. A 2014 article at The Conversation suggested that statistical evidence shows popular musicians are most likely to die at the age of 56 (2.2% compared to 1.3% at 27).
Because the 27 Club is entirely notional, there is no official membership. The following table lists people described as "members" of the club in reliable published sources, in the opinion of their respective authors.

2023.06.10 21:56 Boss452 Do you feel Banshees of Inisherin (2022) is overly nihilistic?
I am not sure of nihilism is the correct word to describe what I felt after finishing Banshees, but I couldn't think of another way to describe. Banshees feels too negative, depressing and pessimistic by the time it ends. When the director and the two lead actors first collaborated for 'In Bruges' (2008), the ending in that too felt the same but it followed more logically. It was a proper dark comedy throughout and the characters were asking for the outcome.
In contrast, Banshees of Inisherin has plentiful moments of beauty and hope in it. Hell, the visual beauty and the way shots are lit, composed and locations captured alone leads you into feeling positive about the movie. But the actual place of Inisherin, we learn as we watch the story, is dreary, filled with 'mental people' and hopeless.
We have 4 central characters in the story out of which only Siobhan finds a more optimistic resolution. Poor old Dominic suffers a tragic young death after a life of terrible abuse and suffering. He is a good soul from what we see.
Then of course, there is Colm who is so interested in his own self and his legacy that he is ready to cut ties with people who 'bore' him or don't provide anything of use to his time. He isn't a bad guy per se. Far from it. But there is a coldness about him and the lengths he goes to sever ties with his old friend Padraic are just shocking.
On the other hand its Padraic who represents innocence, 'niceness', sincerity and a belief in meaningless socialization as long as it involves chatting and human connection. It is the 'corruption' of Padraic's soul which affects the viewer the most. Midway through the film, Padraic, arguably the nicest guy in Inisherin, is deemed as the 'same as the rest of them' by Dominic when he does a selfish act of removing one of Colm's music companions from the picture by falsely leading him elsewhere.
And by the end, Padraic is burns Colm's house down and even in their final meeting we see a much more stern, blunt & hardened Padraic than before.
Siobhan offers Padraic a way out towards a more satisfying and meaningful life but Padraic rejects that to remain in the miserable Inisherin and continue on his now complicated relationship with Colm.
Banshees of Inisherin is a fantastic film, easily one of the best of the past year. I just felt that the movie left me cold by the end, not towards the film but how I felt about the characters and story. How do you feel about the movie and in particular, its ending? What was McDonagh trying to say here?

2023.06.10 21:52 RequirementOne79 P0017 - camshaft corrallation
Hey all,
I got my timing belt done a few weeks ago and I threw a P0017 last Monday.
Long story short, I’ve been driving it since and it seems fine. I cleared the code and it came back about 50 miles later. The car is running and driving fine so I’m assuming it’s a sensor or the solenoid.
Anyone got any ideas where to start?

2023.06.10 21:49 FlawlessKasper Honda Civic 2009 - electronics or stereo issue? turning off/on
Hi, hope everyone is well.
Not sure if this is the correct subreddit for this type of query but has anyone ever encountered this on a honda civic near the 2009 year? If so, what fixes would you recommend for this?
I bought a 2nd hand honda civic and I've noticed whenever I drive, sometimes after 30 mins and other times after 1 hour, the radio starts to suddenly turn off on its own with this loud bang noise, as if someone instantly cut it off and it would turn on again in like 2 seconds. so it would keep turning on and off constantly.
It would keep doing this till I stop driving and I would have no way of stopping it. so if I ever have passengers then it gets quite annoying to listen to.
Would it be just the radio that's faulty and I could get it replaced with the same one? or would it be something to do with fuses etc. I'm not very car savvy unfortunately.
here is the video of it turning on and off again, can't really tell from the video but it makes a banging noise in the background when it turns off and it is actually very loud, in the video it sounds quiet but it's not. It would do this the whole time i'm driving, so quite few times i'm stuck in 2 hour drives where it would keep doing this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgMdbcJ54hk After a while it would possibly stop doing it, this would be maybe after like 30-40 mins of constant turning off and on. and if I tried turning the radio on, it would work for like 10min and again start malfunctioning. I was thinking maybe its due to somehow overheating? but its just a guess.
Also in this very rare 1/20 instance, instead of banging it was making a loud beep noise. This one was quite rare but has happened.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9cR4X4Obs4 Thank you for reading.

These crimes have no party which has been injured: speeding tickets, red light tickets, stop sign tickets, seat belt tickets, possession tickets and more! These “crimes” have hurt no one, but merely have the semblance of injury due to statutory laws. This leads to “Here’s a ticket for $300 because you ran a stop sign at 4 A.M. even though nobody was around [except the officer to ticket you].” When we think back to the earliest days of laws and judges, you will realize court is really meant for (and only for) a tort; a wrongful act to a person or their property; or an infringement of a human right (other than under contract). If you broke the Golden Rule: Do No Harm to Person or Their Property – then there should be civil liability and legal consequences. However, if the age of corporations and propaganda (marketing), it seems We The People have lost our way (and rights). Sovereignty is not held by title, but is found in the mind. If the mind is given up, eventually an evil will rise to deceive the people into slavery by consent! 2023.06.10 21:46 saltychocolateball Looking for suggestions with a 5k budget
In the market for a second hand vehicle, and was looking for some suggestions from more knowledgeable people! Some guidelines of mine are below:
- 5k budget
- Good mpg, as periodically (few times a year) I'll be making a 900 mile return journey.
- Cruise control, low noise, and comfortable for the aforementioned drive
- Decent size
- Reliable
- Doesn't have to be quick or exciting
If anyone could suggest any vehicles I'd be grateful, I've been looking at a few already:
- Ford Mondeo
- Honda Civic/Accord
- Skoda Octavia (obviously)

2023.06.10 21:38 Nimepop Boxing Culture: I don’t get it
Note: I’m NOT a boxer. I’ve striking and been doing Muay Thai for about 2 years and BJJ for 3, so I understand I’m still fresh and I don’t know it all, but I’ve sparred with some boxers and met many and I just have a hard time understanding.
I noticed that Muay Thai gyms don’t have students wearing headgear or groin belts when sparring, all they ask (from my experience) is that they bring wraps, gloves, shin guards, mouth guard, and a cup (but even that is not enforced. We do this because even though we test each other and work hard, this is NOT. A fight, we are training and want to see each other and ourselves improve and pressure test our skills. If you ever seriously hurt someone, that’s never cool or the right thing to do unless hard sparring is already agreed upon before hand. I have been rocked PLENTY of times in these gyms but I also understand that those his are usually do to my lack of awareness in the speed we are going at, or by accident and we are always chill to say stuff like “hey, can we take the intensity down a few pegs?” In those scenarios.
I should also mention that our Thai gym takes a lot from Thailand gym traditions, not Dutch kickboxing.
However, every time I’ve asked to spar a boxer, it’s taken as a personal challenge, and all of the gear comes out. I even say that we don’t need that, just gloves and mouth guard. There’s also a lot of videos I see of all of this drama and knockouts in the sparring ring because of all of the haymakers being thrown around and bad blood being built because of the hard sparring, only to find out that these guys are not fighters and this is just how training goes. What is it in the culture or possibly even in the history of boxing that prompts this?

2023.06.10 21:37 ZaBaronDV Beyond Red, Blue, and Yellow: The 2012 United States Progressive National Convention
Election season has rolled around in the United States, and already things have gone crazy. Breaking with tradition, President Joe Biden lost the Democrat nomination for President, and to the former Governor of Montana
Mike Gravel, who controversially chose for his running mate the sitting Secretary of the Interior John Kerry of Massachusetts.
Not it's time for the Progressive Party to choose its candidate, and since the 2008 split in the Progressives and John Kerry's departure from the Party, things have been in chaos. The Party that once united so strongly behind Howard Dean in 2004 is in a leadership crisis, divided between what have become known as the Vilsackers, the larger portion of the Party who support Tom Vilsack, and the Andersonites, the smaller but no less passionate supporters of Rocky Anderson. And so the Convention convenes in Madison, Wisconsin...
Fmr. Mayor Rocky Anderson of Utah
The former Mayor of Salt Lake City and former Presidential candidate from 2008, Anderson is back to tackle the campaign trail once more. Anderson definitely made a splash in the election, outperforming expectations. Anderson was the greenest Mayor in Salt Lake City's history, and reformed the city's justice system. Of particular note, however, is Anderson's plan for a massive expansion of the country' railway system, which he says will turn things around economically for the nation by both creating jobs and expediting commerce. But Anderson is controversial in his own Party, with mixed opinion in his own home State. He's also already lost an election, and that could be seen as him being damaged goods. To say nothing of the bitter relationship he has with Vilsack's wing of the Progressives.
Fmr. Governor Tom Vilsack of Iowa
Tom Vilsack, like Rocky Anderson, is back after two failed campaigns in 2004 and 2008, where he tried to run for President but ended up being Vice President. This time, Vilsack is going for it all; He won't accept being Vice President. Vilsack is a proponent of tax increases to provide funding for social programs and create a surplus. He's also pushing even harder to take his State's Grow Values Fund to the national level, in order to create high-paying jobs. While this had a mixed reception in 2008, now it seems like that has only matured in value since. That said, he and his wing of the Progressives are not popular with the Anderson wing, and any such split of the vote would lead to a Progressive loss.
Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont
The first of two compromise candidates to come forward this time around, Bernie Sanders is the self-avowed democratic socialist Senator of Vermont and an old ally of Howard Dean, making him perhaps able to bridge the gap between the Vilsackers and Andersonites. He strongly supports auditing the Federal Reserve, increasing taxes as needed, and even working in parts of Vilsacks Grow Values Fund and Anderson's proposed expansion of the nation's railway. All this to be included with health reform and a total reevaluation of foreign policy. That said, Sanders' avowed socialist political leanings makes a number of citizens nervous, and he has a considerably more mixed political image outside of New England. But one has to ask if winning is really more important than reuniting the fractured Party?
Jill Stein of Massachusetts
Another compromise candidate comes in the form of the physician Dr. Jill Stein of Massachusetts. Stein's proposed plan to tackle the economic issues comes in the form of the Green New Deal, a name hearkening back to the days of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Called ambitious by some and unrealistic by others, Stein's Green New Deal is controversial even within the Party itself. On the balance, she is relatively unknown outside of New England, and does little to appeal to the Vilsackers or Andersonites.
It's now up to the delegates. Who will carry the Progressives into 2012 as the Presidential nominee?

Best Bros (Mei Suruga 🍎 & Baliyan Akki ♠️)
VS
Miya Yotsuba 🍀 & Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara 💃
“Right There!” The Best Bros (
Mei Suruga & Baliyan Akki) are one of the top teams of Ichigaya (and beyond, for that matter). “Big Apple Girl” Mei Suruga & the Zephyr of Ichigaya, Baliyan Akki, are always focused on the next achievement. Mei Suruga is trick pin specialist, torture expert, and all around menace in the ring. She has fantastic technical ability, and while the known Goblin might be a...bit rotten...she is honestly one of the most gifted talents out there! While Mei is the Ace of Gatoh Move, Akki is the Ace of ChocoPro. Baliyan Akki sets the bar for quality in Ichigaya. With striking features to match his surgical striking in ring, effortless (and intensely impactful) high flying techniques that will take your breath away, and silky smooth submissions (that will take theirs!), Akki will engrave himself in your memory. While they might be the opener this time, it won’t be long until this elite team finds glory once again. Regardless of the challenge, the Ace & the Apple will always deliver!
The Powerhouse Pair reunites! Rookie supernova and Ichigaya’s Lucky Charm,
Miya Yotsuba, has been dazzling viewers lately with her surprising level of skill and determination! The mint-geared Rookie has a full-power style that pumps up the audience. Her slams and modified versions of her goblin teacher’s skills are absolutely fantastic. She is always growing through challenges way beyond her current level, so this grim task will be yet another step in her rapid ascent. She’ll be once again aided by fellow heavy striking enthusiast
Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara! Otoki is ChocoPro’s “Comaneci” shouting straight forward fighter. She’s sometimes showing off her comedic chops along side Anton in several forms of Black Comaneci, but outside of that brutalizing foes is her bread and butter! This kick-boxing, Judo throwing, Fourth Gen berserker can go toe to toe with the rest of the roster: even her seniors! Putting these two together fuels their respective berserk states, so this should be a blast. Let’s go, Lucky Comaneci!
Shin Suzuki 🍙 & Minoru Fujita 🐦
VS
Masa Takanashi 🍶 & Sayaka Obihiro 💙
Shin Suzuki has finally established himself among the best of the best in ChocoPro. This spunky technician found his true balance along side Choun Shiryu, but his overall power level has increased with his confidence. Expect his excellent fundamentals and incredible timing to lead this acrobat toward victory in any situation. While his ability is unquestionable, he will be testing that new attitude when taking on his ideal wrestler (who happens to be one of the champs he got the belt from!). Shin will be joined by
Minoru Fujita, the exalted Vice Principle and fantastic pick up partner. Known for his accolades in singles, deathmatches, and especially tags (
also his angelic singing voice), Fujita was once away from the Chocolate Square due to injury, but he’s finally back into the normal rotation! This bird loving brawler is still a terror with endless endurance...even if he looks a bit different now. His brawler style and high level of technicality make him a fierce (but also rotten) opponent. How will this rare pairing have improved with Shin’s rise to the top?
The Chef and the Drunk, together again!
Sayaka Obihiro and
Masa Takanashi are one of the most Veteran combinations you can get in ChocoPro! While both have been around since this new offshoot of Gatoh Move started, fate prevented them from teaming up often. (Also Obihiro being both a Chef and occasional member of the UMA Monster Invaders…) Obi is a charismatic scoundrel, able to do flashy pinning techniques that seem like magic. Her chops are on the same level as her boss and teacher, “the Oni” Emi Sakura! She brings with her a raw joy that is very engaging, and it helps that her move set is so flashy...not to mention that fiery gear! Masa on the other hand is pretty rotten, a counter-fighter with a knack for annoying his opponents. The Drunken Monkey's style is very technical and crisp, but he isn't afraid to go dirty! Don't be fooled by his laid back nature and swaying movements...Masa is a real threat. Between Masa's trickery and Obi's personality, this combination is a surefire thrill ride. Though Masa’s grudge about losing the belts in such a manner (due to Chrissy B’s injury) might lead to a bit more spice than you’re expecting...
Hagane Shinno ⚔️ (c)
VS
Chie Koishikawa 🏵️
Winter is cold and unforgiving.
Hagane Shinno represents that freezing season with more than just his icy demeanor! This absolutely brutal striker has been nearly invincible in the series so far, having never been bested in singles combat! His solemn ferocity makes him an instant favorite among new fans...(with Hagane surprising most with his exceptional technical skill, emotionless demeanor, and explosive fighting style) while his byronic nature pairs well with his otherworldly beauty (canonically, thanks Emi!). This mysterious eccentric perfectionist has come out of his shell quite a bit since he paired with Chie Koishikawa in EGG TART, the cheery energy machine having even drawn a smile out of him! Hagane has had a long career, one that has been guided by his own stubborn & unflinching decisions. Every action is decisive. Every decision is final. While his unwavering will is one of the things that aligns him the most with Chie, there is an issue. He has decided that if EGG TART is going to progress and become a true team on the same level, he must force Chie to grow out of the “protected” and stop being her Guardian. He has granted her a challenge for his Big Blue Belt to test her growth, to see if she is truly up to the task of true synergy. This forced increase in chemistry will be brutal, but fruitful for them both regardless of outcome.
Chie Koishikawa has endless energy, boundless potential, and a destiny beyond what any of us can fathom. But is she capable of seizing that unique strength? Her charisma is unquestionable, the Frantic Fencer warming the hearts of fans across the world with her emotional outbursts and reckless style. Her desire is rock solid, her passion burning out of her far beyond what her body can take (even giving the former tag champions one of their greatest defenses). But there will always be another Mountain to climb. Baliyan Akki learned this when it came for him, but even Akki possesses something Chie does not: perfect synergy with his tag partner. Chie wants to ascend, she wants to be able to bring down stronger opponents both on her own and as a team with Hagane. But all of their battles have ended with her being the weak link, the downfall of the team. She has been training harder and harder, pushing herself further and further...but is it enough? Chie has finally earned a Super Asia Title shot, but in a unique way: She must prove herself in this match to be her Guardian’s equal. To stand beside him, instead of behind him. She will need to push beyond her limitations to succeed, to reach that next level. Chie must find a way to strike down a superior foe, to at least bring herself to be able to stand proud against him. Will her speed striking be enough? Can she outrun the cold? Can she find a way to harness her hidden talent of “too much energy”?
Good luck, Chie! Come and see the wild creativity that produced Two of the Seven AEW Women's World Champions! (Both of which have appeared on ChocoPro!) You'll be wondering if you're seeing future champs, as well. ChocoPro is the Frontier of Pro Wrestling! Match after match of hard hitting, chaotic, fun bouts with a friendly online audience. Here are some
Frequently Asked Questions:
“What is this?”
ChocoPro is a free online promotion run by AEW's Emi Sakura, that takes place in the legendary Ichigaya Chocolate Square! It features a steady pace of live Episode releases, fan interaction, season long story arcs, and much more! A place where the turnbuckles are replaced with 14th floor windows, the ropes are often replaced with fans, unforgiving walls provide creative avenues for skills otherwise unthinkable, and you can take solace in knowing that the referees usually do nothing. While it might be a shocking change at first, the intensity and storytelling will leave you wanting more.
“Why are they fighting in ____?”
Short answer is that it is a cost effective, unique venue with a better availability schedule and allows the roster access for training. Emi Sakura has been using this place for a long time, and you might be surprised at some of the names that have used it (even outside of ChocoPro!). There are a few in-ring Episodes and Gatoh Move has in ring shows with crowds on the YouTube channel. Think of it like the Hart Dungeon but as a promotion, if that helps!
”What are the rules?”
While special match stipulations will usually be explained before the respective matches, the general rules of ChocoPro are simple. Pins only count on the Chocolate Mat and are not broken by the edge or Wall. Submissions usually only count on the Chocolate Mat, and ARE broken by reaching the edge or wall (sometimes ceiling...). Double pins and Double submissions are legal (and encouraged) in ChocoPro Tag matches, meaning cohesive teams will always have the advantage! Count Outs only exist if specified, since many matches stray from the comfort of the Chocolate Square into the streets (and the rest of the building itself!) There is a Time Limit for each bout (based on card placement and importance) and the Referee has discretion (even if they tend to do nothing most of the time!). Every Ref is different, some have different levels of bias and speed.
“How can I support them?”
Watch the show! Even if you can't see it live, the views matter! Like & Subscribe! You can join the Channel's membership for different tiers of perks...but also, you can buy single episode Sponsorship, Digital autographed photos, and more
on their shop site as well as purchase shirts from
PWTees (which features some great options!) If you'd like to donate or purchase a main wall sponsorship, you can via
Paypal or
Patreon...and don't forget to cheer for your favorites! (especially if you want to do a superchat!)
”How come there aren’t a lot of comments on the threads?”
ChocoPro is a YouTube show, meaning the discourse happens live...in the chat! Those that comment in the threads on here tend to do so in order to help new viewers that might be intimidated by the fast moving chat. Don’t be afraid to just dive in though, the community is friendly.
“Why are you posting this here? / Are you paid for this?”
This is a wrestling forum, and I'm trying to broaden the horizons of others! There is a lot of good wrestling out there...Plus growing the fan base means more people for me to joke around with! I honestly do believe this is what a lot of fans are looking for, even if it is too different for some! But different tastes are good. Variety is the spice of life. This is a labor of love (it really doesn't take that long) considering how much work they do to put on so many shows...for free!
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me on here or on Twitter, where I’m somehow still sick! ChocoPro is Energetic!
Season Tracker: We're 16/18 into Season 18! (Each Season is usually around 18 episodes)

2023.06.10 21:35 Leaveleague Oil pressure light on all of the sudden? 04 hyundai santa fe
When I went to start my car I saw a brand new light which is the oil pressure light.
I've never seen this light ever turn on even when the car was on the "on" (car electronics on but engine off) mode but now it's on and whenever I start the car and drive it the light would blink very quickly and disappear when I stop and go.
I dont think I hear weird noises but I can be wrong since I hear some squeaking but that's prob from the timing belt.
Also, my car does have struggles turning on..I have to crank the car like 2 or 4 times for the car to start (time to time).

2023.06.10 21:34 dansargurkan Just got a ”new” 99 Legacy - what should i check/replace?
Hello everyone!
I just got my first Subaru :) a 99 Legacy wagon with the 2.5 and auto. Done 12500miles/20000km.
I don’t know much about the history of the car so therefore I want to check with the pros - what should I check and replace if I want to keep it running?
Looks like it has been serviced properly (ish) according to the book.
What I have on my list now is:
- belt, tensioners, pump (was like 12 years since last time) Any tips or gotchas or pretty straight forward?
- Dig around for rust (front and back wheel arches are not pretty..) Any parts of the structure/vital parts known to rust out i should check?
- Figure out oil(?) leak - could see it’s wet underneath. Do you have suggestions what to check?
Overall it runs and drives pretty good.. so far :)

2023.06.10 21:33 Nimepop Boxing Culture, I don’t get it
Note: I’m NOT a boxer.
