I, like every other Spiderman fan, was eating great with the new Across the Spiderverse movie. Mostly, my favorite part came in the form of the Canon events. Spiderman is known for its completely different re-imaginings, from the original 80s cartoon, to The Spectacular Spiderman in the 00s, along with Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and the newest kid, Tom Holland.
I love the Canon events. In every Spiderman rendition I try my hardest to pick out every Canon event, from the spider bite, to uncle Ben's death, to holding up the rubble, even to hanging up the spider suit for a while or using the Venom suit instead. The Canon events show us why Spiderman is timeless; like the first Spiderverse movie said, no matter how many times a spider is knocked down, they get back up.
So, as I was falling asleep, I was revelling in the genius of the Canon events when I looked at Tom Hollands Spiderman. We didn't see too many of his Canon events, did we? We never saw his spider bite. We never saw uncle Ben. The closest thing is the death of his Aunt May. But that doesn't happen in every spiderverse...
No it doesn't, but each and every Spiderverse is different. There are some where Peter Parker never becomes Spiderman, see Spider Gwen. Is it too much to think that Tom Holland's Uncle Ben just wasn't important to his story?
Well let's look at the facts. Every Spiderman doesn't get their official suit until after their Uncles death. See Miles in his costume when Aaron dies, Tobey in his wrestling costume, and The Spectavular Spiderman also in a sort of wrestling outfit. Since Tom Hollands first appearance was in his official suit, then Uncle Ben must have died, right?
If Uncle Ben died, why would Aunt May need to die? It doesn't make sense, until you think about Anamolies. Aunt May died because of the Green Goblin, Norman Osborn, from the Maguire Universe. Tony Stark was the main arms dealer in the MCU, not Norman Osborn.
So, with what we know about Anamolies, then Tom Hollands universe has to be doomed, unless Dr. Stranges mind erase spell stabilized the Web and satisfied Miguel O'Hara.

 | Today I want to talk about one the most strange elements about Freddy and Friends that I feel nobody has properly addresed besides minimal mentions: what the hell is Glitchtrap doing there? submitted by ImTheCreator2 to fnaftheories [link] [comments] Freddy and Friends: On Tour Episode 4 begins just like any other episode of the show as we follow Freddy, Bonnie and Chica until they are met by Foxy who, just like usual, chases them around, up until Freddy stops and decides to offer Foxy the chance to be part of the band, the episode ends in a happy note as the band is finally formed, ready to sing. You see, the events that transpire during the episode itself aren't as relevant, at least not as what happen with the recording: through the episode we see a constant of frames that suddenly turn into a purple and yellow tint, when put together each and every single frame as a puzzle piece we are met with a familiar face. Hi Glitchtrap! Image done by Eeoneguy356 But you see, here is where I ask the question, what is Glitchtrap doing there? Back thn it was bizarre because you are left wondering over multiple things: a) How did it got there? b) What is the porpuse for it being there? Because not only is it weird to go and haunt old material that is not going to be seen by everyone but that based on what the descriptions tell us, this episodes were from the Fazbear Entertainment archives, how is Glitchtrap in old content? Well you know, I think I might have a answer. And we go back, don't we? Hello Mimic, nice to see you once again. Through the Tales From The Pizzaplex book series we have gotten a lot of background on Glitchtrap, I don't really feel lik explaining any of that information but to put it simple: after being recovered by Fazbear Entertainment the company started to use the Mimic with the porpuse of it to learn the performances of the animatronics at the company so then they could then have a full archive with this information, however, I feel like this might not have been the only use they had for the system. The thing here is, what is Glitchtrap doing in Freddy and Friends? It doesn't make sense for it to just decide to get itself into the records so... what if he already was in there? Freddy and Friends: In Tour is a very cheap product, that is very clear, the episodes are repetitive, they lack of a story and they are clearly using recycled animation, is a parody to those shows done around that period that relied a lot on these things and obviously there shouldn't be anything deeper to that, but I feel there is; the Mimic is a hivemind, what one piece of it learns, the others do aswell, so let's say that hypotetically one of them learns the appearence of something, that means that all of them should do, and I think that is exactly what happened with Freddy and Friends, but let me pu the idea in a better way. After Fazbear got it's hands onto the machine they decided to start using it into the creation of Freddy and Friends, after the show was cancel and they decided to start using this system again it developed into the Glitchtrap, causing that the piece of Mimic within the records to manifest this figure. Ok, but here's an issue, what was Mimic used for in the show? Well, I propose that Mimic was used for the creation of the visuals for the show (AI images), mainly for the things that make the show be as weird as it is: Recycled animation Repetitive sequence of events Glitchtrap manifesting visually And I think it takes more value when you consider Mimic is easily to adapt as it has been used as a writting and operational system (The Storyteller) and a performer so I doubt it wouldn't be easy to adapt as an image generator. I think it could even be argued that Mimic was only used for this special and not the entire show since in B-7 we see the show and it doesn't really look like it was cheap, at least it isn't described as such (but I guess you could argue the system just got better at it). Of course you could argue that the show was cheap which is fair but you will be missing two points: I already know, I even mentioned that earlier, so that is just being redundant on this point. Glitchtrap is somehow within the show, there is no reason for it to even ge inside of it, so is likely that he was already there. In case someone wants to argue that it doesn't make sense for code to somehow exist inside a record or a tv show, have in mind: Mimic is paranormal, paranormal is not limited to what you think is possible. Vannesa would like an answer of how a piece of code is inside of her then. So to summarise, after recovering the program Fazbear will use it, between other things, to the creation of Freddy and Friend: On Tour and maybe the entire show using the technology of the Mimic (probably working on the visual aspect). Years later, due to the Mimic being used in the VR game the show will try to manifest the figure of Glitchtrap being why we see it in the episode 4. (Also, if you want to argue it is technologically impossible for there to be AI generated images or even animation... be for real, this is FNaF we are talking about, walking animatronics with militar technology exist in the 80s alongside slim TVs and Circus Baby, you are fighting a lost cause.) |

I wanna write Mc's story in the present but the antagonist's past is a big part as well and at the same time I don't wanna give to much of the Antagonist's story all at once at the same time as the story moves along because he's supposed to be more on the vague and mysterious type. I just can't figure out how to Tell both stories without flashbacks taking away from the present story too much because I know sometimes when I read or watch a movie/show i just wanna get back to the other story if the one I'm watching/reading isn't interesting me or it takes me out of the experience if it's handled poorly and ( For context, they're Traveling together As a master and student But have A Assassination classroom type concept. )

I’m pretty unsatisfied with how my life has turned out so far. I haven’t achieved anything that I’ve set out to do, and my future feels bleak. I often find myself thinking about the past and wishing that I could go back in time and experience certain moments again.
Recently, I was reminiscing about how much happier I was back in middle school and then I had a weird idea. If that period of time was the best part of my life so far, what would happen if I tried to recreate all the aspects of my life from back then? In theory, wouldn’t that allow me to experience a similar level of joy and zest for life? I could try to get back into my old hobbies from back then, watch less TV and stop spending time online. Maybe I could even downgrade to a flip phone to really recreate what my life was like back then. I don’t think I can reconnect with my old friends from that age, but I could try to make new ones
Is this a stupid idea or does it have some merit? I also think that this could be a good plot for a movie lol

My love language is quality time. I enjoy setting aside time for adventures, date nights, or just time to curl up and watch a movie together.

That review wants me to go see it 😁 It also reminds me how much of a product we are of our past lives ie choices and relationships - growing up, working, dating, settling, marrying, parenting, divorcing etc etc. Moulded all along by the choices we made and few that were thrusted upon us.
I also found it interesting that the plot uses a common event - resurfacing of an old flame - generally viewed with filter of caution, disgust or other negative emotions. I wonder how such usual negative event can lead to even slightly positive outcome for all involved folks? How is that possible in a zero sum game ;-)
Perhaps acceptance, empathy, unconditional love change the color of that filter. I am certain that I can't practice it well but may be the movie will show what I need to learn.
I will add a comment after watching the movie. Since I am not dating, I am not sure when that will happen but if you have watched then without spilling beans :-) please add your thoughts about the movie or plot or whatever.

So I watched Across The Spider-Verse the other day, great movie, and I think within the story and narrative they had, I can kinda see why Cindy Moon was not in the movie: she could've been considered an anomaly herself.
While so far the only person considered an anomaly is Miles for being bitten by a different universe spider, I can see the idea of her being an anomaly for getting bitten after Peter, and being locked up for it by someone, maybe Ezekiel, much before Miguel O'Hara even learned about everything regarding the Web of Life.
Another thing I've noticed is that Silk's TV show subtitle is the name of Miguel's faction "Spider-Society", so maybe they were gonna be connected somehow (were being the keyword because since writer's strikes started, I don't think they can put the show out before Beyond the Spider-Verse releases, but that's also up in the air).
Anyways, feels like the Silk fan community is so small that I haven't even seen anyone point out Spider-Society is a term present both in the TV show and the movies now lol
