I am a Texas teacher eyeing a move to Colorado, and I have been applying to jobs in the Denver area. So far, I have not had much success. Do those in charge of the hiring look at the address information and favor teachers who currently live in the location? Would it be better to just sort of... take the leap of faith and move and hope that something comes up?
For the record I am applying to CTE Teaching positions, and I have taught a wide range of CTE Courses here in Texas.

Ted Kaczynski, better known as the Unabomber, has been found dead in his jail cell by prison officers, US media says, citing prison officials.
Kaczynski, 81, was discovered early on Saturday at a federal prison medical facility in North Carolina.

I have many trichocereus cuts available for sale in the US. All organically grown, no pesticides or fungicides used, full colorado sun. All but 4 varieties are seed grown and at least 4 years old, some being closer to 10. Many are rooted and all are ready to start pumping some new growth.

Taking a road trip pretty soon with the family. We have food all planned out to make things cheap, but trying to figure out the most frugal way to sleep. We can't sleep in the vehicle. We had thought about tent camping, but wanted to drive as many hours as we could to lessen the amount spent on hotels/motels.

I (31M) have a wife (27F). We sleep in different rooms. It might sound strange, but my wife has some sort of bad experience of having someone near her when she sleeps, and I don't have any issue with sleeping separately, but from time to time I want to feel her warm and scent in my bed. Yesterday my sister (33F) asked me to let her pass the night at my house. She and her concubine got drunk, had a fight, and then he kicked her out of the house. It was late and she had nowhere to go. At first, I doubted whether I should help her. And that’s why.
First, I was bought up in austerity, whilst she was living in luxury. For example, I had wood toys, sometimes played with utensils, while she had whatever she wanted; I slept on a floor mattress, she had a king size bed; parents dropped and picked her up at school when I had to walk on my own and so for. Yes, we have the same parents, and we lived in the same house. Parents believed that boys should be reared strictly, even severely ‘to form a spine’, and girls should be mothered, treated with care and affection. No matter what happened, parents always sided with her, and only I was getting the cane. Let alone that she was a fresh fair maiden, and I was an ordinary boy. I can’t recall a day without being dismayed with such injustice, although when I matured, I came to the conclusion that it must be a normal and common phenomenon.
Second, we are not really close; she was rough with me back in the days. Maybe she just copied parents’ attitude towards me, but still… We rarely talk to each other (guess why), although I've learnt that she has been seeking someone to finally settle down and get a child for last 2 years. You know, "the clock is ticking" and so on. And it is kind of strange to me why she would have such a problem at all, because she is really pretty, namely, cute face, sweet voice, narrow shoulders, thin waist, wide pelvic, deep thighs etc. Perhaps she is a bit spoiled and no man can match her standards.
Now you might understand why I was confused that out of all her men, friends, acquaintances and even parents she called me. The one who she neglected and mistreated. In the night. Drunk.
But she is my sister after all...
Let bygones be bygones. Wife was already dreaming, and I decided not to disturb her to discuss it. So, I called for her. As I step out of the car, she raced over and hugged me tightly. This had never happened before. Like really never. I was confused for a few seconds, but the alcohol odour emanating from her brought me back. I helped her to pack things, and drove back home. Since we have only 2 bedrooms—mine and wife's—I offered her to sleep on the lounge convertible sofa-bed. She refused, like, she fears to sleep alone in new places (she has never been in my house). Well, okay. I said that I could stay near her until she fell asleep. She declined it as well. Okay. I suggested her to sleep in my bed, and I would sleep on the floor in the same room. She finally agreed. She went to the shower in the meantime I was changing the bedclothes and setting up my new ‘bed’. When I was relaxed and almost lost consciousness, she came in, woke me up and asked, "Are you sleeping already?" With great force I restrained myself from slapping her damn smirk off her face. Following that she said that it must be uncomfortable to sleep on the floor, and that two of us can freely fit in the bed. At first, I thought I had a fever dream (was it really my sister who said it??), but minutes later my backache reminded me that I was awake. At this time I was completely exhausted and could barely think. Ok. I brought another blanket and pillow and fainted away. Couple of minutes later I woke up from heat. I found us spooning, i.e. she hugged me from the back and rested her left leg on mine. I slowly turned my head – she was sleeping. I had mixed emotions. On the one hand it seemed ill and wrong. (Is it normal to sleep with siblings like that?) On the other hand the warm was spreading through my body, her fragrance, the hug and closeness arouse some pleasant feeling deep inside. Something mild and tender. The feeling I had been missing for years. In the end I pulled myself together and gently put her leg and arm away, covered her with her blanket, and then myself with my blanket from head to toe trying to forget it. Then it happened. I felt that someone is kissing me on the lips. (I used to awaken my wife in such a way; sometimes she did it too). In all innocence I started kissing back. Next, I felt how palms were sliding down my torso. When they stopped at my pubic I opened my eyes and saw my sister sitting on me in panties. My weary mind could hardly process it, so I just calmly asked, "What?" She called me pervert, took the pillow and blanket, bursted out of the room and went downstairs. My wife entered right after. She looked at me in disgust and silently walked away.
I haven’t left my room yet. In addition, parents called me and asked to put sister up for a week.
I haven’t slept a wink since it. Thoughts tumble about. What do I do? Girls, what did I do wrong? Maybe I should have booked a motel or a hotel and left her drunk there? Or just ignored the call? I don't know... I need a piece of advice.

I live in Colorado and we have been having rain nearly every day for a month. Problem is I was out of town for the past 2.5-3 weeks and seems like some mud/water got in. It’s only like a slight coating-1/4 inch over the floor most places, probably 1.5 inches at the highest of mud residue. Probably 12x6 foot area of the basement. Cement floors. I’ve been using a paint scrapeputty knife to get it up and it’s taking forever. What’s the best route I can take to clean it up/prevent mold etc.

For the last 5 years life has been hell. It started with my now ex (also kids father) attempting to beat me to death. Then two months later our house and everything we owned burned down due to faulty wiring. So me and my kids moved to a new city and started over. Things were great until I was bitten by a brown recluse. I didn’t realize it had also became infected with MRSA. I ended up going septic and luckily was at the emergency room when my heart gave out. Since I was in ICU I couldn’t work, which meant I had to have someone move our stuff into storage. The apartment manager assured us everything was taken care of and not to worry. I only had a month left on my lease at that point. We have lived in motel rooms since I was released from the hospital. I have done everything I can to get us into a home of our own. It is incredibly difficult to save any money when I am paying for our room too. Then I kept getting turned down everywhere I applied. Remember when I was trying not to die well that apartment manager placed an eviction against my record. I can’t afford to apply to very many places as I Dont have the money but every place I have applied automatically denies me. I have taken papers showing what happened. I paid the months rent that was owed. My youngest turned 9 last month and all she said she wanted was her own room and a house that she can have friends over to play. I sold plasma for two weeks so I could apply to a house that the owner assured me he would work with me. I just got the denial email. I Dont know what to do. I work 2 jobs and I try to be a good person. I Dont have the heart to tell my babies we didn’t get the house. They’re such good kids and they deserve a home and a normal life. I can’t afford to keep staying in this motel and I can’t get anyone to rent me a home. The government housing has a three year waiting list and it hasn’t opened for new applicants in a few years. I have no family and I don’t really know anyone in this city. I just want my kids to be able to be kids. Honestly they’re the only reason I keep fighting to survive. I Dont know what to do at this point.
