2022.11.04 23:22 DullAward5810 Best perks?
I’ve been working at express for 2 years and I’m still finding out about perks at the job I haven’t heard of. Like I didn’t know we get discounted car insurance through travelers insurance. Anyone know of any other discounts and perks we get? Like hotels, flying, rentals, and any other things BESIDES LIFEMART. Lifemart honestly sucks lol

2022.09.21 22:39 AndieC Pet Insurance - Worth it?
I'm reviewing benefits for 2023 and pet insurance is everywhere I look! Before I take a deep dive into all of the different companies out there, I'm generally curious how it works. Is there a special discount for employees accessible through the vendor's site, and/or are there post-tax premium deductions being shared between the employee+employer to go towards those monthly premiums?
I see Spot and Figo as good options for our U.S. employees, but it looks like there are the same generic "up to 20% off" discounts. We use ADP and their LifeMart promo code appears to be the same discount as signing up for your own employer code.
I don't even know where to begin with global pet insurance, but I did find a company (Royal & Sun Alliance) that has offerings in Europe and APAC. Anyway, is it worth it? Has it been well received by your employees/colleagues?

2022.06.17 15:11 chodthewacko clearance2022 stacks with employee benefits
In my searches I didn't see this mentioned so I thought I'd post:
On lenovo.com, If there's a code to discount clearance items (the current one is 'CLEARANCE2022'), and your company has a benefits package like lifemart/lifecare, all of the discounts stack. So it's something to keep an eye on.
I recently snagged a P15 gen 2 on lenovo's web site: i9 / A3000 / 32 gig ram / 1TB hd, 4k IPS 600 nits, win 10 pro for $1934. Probably not a historical low or anything, but to hell with it - I got it in the mail 2 days later.
Only real downside is you don't get to configure clearance items so you might have to 'overbuy' a bit to get what you want.

2022.05.07 05:56 Inevitable_Base_3809 Discounts on the intranet
So I’m trying to fine the actual fedex discounts on the intranet at work (fedex express). I know perks at work and lifemart are pretty much garbage. Where do we go for all the good perks from years ago , like discounts on Verizon or car rental and flights? Is there something I can search more specific?
For instance, I saw a code online that got me 50 percent off at enterprise but it was from a fedex pilot forum so I don’t use that unless im sure it ok. The stuff on the sites I listed is no different than Priceline or Expedia.

2021.06.28 01:08 Comprehensive_Fig402 Employee Discount Comparisons (LifeMart vs. Employees Club vs. CSEA)
I am considering becoming a member of
Employees Club for $6/month. It seems like a pretty good deal, but I know we have access to
LifeMart discounts for free. I believe I am also supposed to have access discounts through
California State Employees Association (CSEA) as a dues-paying SEIU member (working on getting access to this).
How different are the discounts offered through Employees Club from LifeMart and CSEA? Is it worth becoming a member of Employees Club if you can already get discounts through LifeMart and CSEA?

2020.11.24 21:15 alexseiji LPT: If you are paid through ADP through your employer, you likely have access to Lifemart, the ADP benefits section with tons of perks and discounts
I have discovered that many people do not know this but you can access the ADP discounts section if you are paid through ADP through your employer by creating a login on their website. Just google ADP Lifemart and it should be the top result! The perks rotate every month. Enjoy the savings!

2020.11.23 19:24 athanor2150 Looking to get a gaming laptop. Top range is about $1,500. USA
Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: $1,500. Might be able to get to $1600
Are you open to refurbs/used? I would prefer new.
How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? Performace > Build Quality > Monitor quality > everything else.
How important is weight and thinness to you? Not really.
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Nothing smaller than 15. 17 is preferred.
Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. I want to game. Specific things like Cyberpunk 2077. The new Baldur's Gate. Heavily modded Skyrim. Red Dead 2. GTA 5. Monster Hunter World. I would like to get into FPS games too.
If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Primary is Cyberpunk 2077. Highest settings possible at 60 FPS. But that is going to be hard to measure. Most games I listed above I would like to run at the highest setting as 60 FPS min. I do realize that might not be possible.
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Thunderbolt 3 port required. I would like it to have a nice keyboard and good build quality. 144hrz refresh rate would be nice too. But I know I am asking a lot for my budget.
Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I already have a nice desktop. While I don't need something super mobile, I would like something I can take when I visit family or travel for work.
--UPDATE!-- WOW YOU GUYS ROCK! This has been a big help. I have a question now. I love these choices, but I just found out I have access to lifemart which will give me a discount on a 17' HP Omen with an RTX 2080 Super for $1700. Out of my range, but I am looking at stretching my budge that last little jump. Anything I should know? Are Omens prone to overheating or having issues with dead pixels or something? Is there something as good or better at the price point? Full specs:
Intel® Core™ i7-10750H (2.6 GHz, up to 5 GHz, 12 MB L3 cache, 6 cores) NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2080 Super™ (8 GB)
16 GB DDR4-2933 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)
17.3" diagonal FHD 144 Hz IPS anti-glare WLED-backlit (1920 x 1080)
512 GB Intel® SSD 32 GB Intel® Optane™ memory
