I think the Dubs were still pretty good in transition this year but its not as dominant as in years past. One thing about having size is you can just grab the board and throw it out to the first guy running down the court.
I think the Dubs had to expend too much extra energy trying to get boards that it made fast break points harder to get. That or maybe the Splash Brothers can't run as much because of age. I don't know, I just feel a solid center would help with fast break points and make things so much easier for the Dubs to get set on offense.
