For context: I am based on the US, ride dressage and work with a trainer who has imported numerous horses, so I was pretty well prepped on what to expect. Nothing was bad or crazy about this experience, I just feel like this might help others out there.
Finding an agent: Most likely if you are working with an experienced trainer, they will have contact info for an agent in Europe. If not, always ask how the agent is compensated. Some go on % of the price you pay on the horse, but others go on a fixed cost model (fee + travel expenses like hotels, food, rental car). Personally, I prefer the fixed cost model, but to each their own. Make sure you are clear with the agent about your price range and know that they typically work in euros - so if your budget is in USD or your local currency, do yourself a favor and make the conversion ahead of time. Also remember that that conversion changes regularly and, when you're talking in 5-6 figure budgets, you will notice those differences. Also be clear about any deal breakers. If you are staying in one general area, you probably need 4 days or so. Give yourself more time than you think you need (explained in etiquette section)
Booking the trip: Chances are, if you want to be able to view video ahead of your trip, you will not get a long lead time between booking and going. Obviously flights can be cheaper if you book well ahead of time, but sellers can only hold horses for so long. Some are quite accommodating and will hold for a week or 2, but remember that this is an inherent cost on their end. Also, when it comes to hotels and such, trust that your agent knows the best places to stay. A good agent will know small, nearby places that are typically less expensive and closer to the barns.
Etiquette: Shopping in Europe is quite differently paced than shopping in the US. For example, when you arrive, they will typically sit you down and have some coffee, maybe tell you about the stables, etc. It's friendly, welcoming and shouldn't be rushed through - even if you are dead-set on seeing a lot of horses on your trip. Great barns want to know that their horses are going to the right homes. When it comes to trying the horse, however, the timing aspect is sort of reversed. The moment you know this is not the horse for you, even if you haven't gotten on, you can say that you would like to pass. They will be glad you haven't wasted their time and will not be annoyed (I tend to find that such a terse interaction in the US would be considered rude - that doesn't apply at these barns that are getting in people regularly from around the world). Just as an aside, the horses will always be fully braided and turned out as if they are headed to a show. I honestly think that that presentation (and the offering of a drink or coffee) are very inexpensive ways that US sellers could heighten their game. But I digress.
Vetting: At least in Germany, it is federal law that the seller provide a standard set of 18 x-rays at their expense. I think it's feet (not skyline view), hocks, and stifles. Any additional x-rays can be purchased at your cost and they are generally quite a bit cheaper than in the US (because vets are doing x-rays regularly). So, for example, I added back and neck and the clinic charged me 250 euro. I vetted 2 horses and the sellers actually paid for both clinical vettings because, by their explanation, I was the first to vet both horses and it was easier for them to pay for it and then own the vetting if I decided to pass so they could keep it on file. (Obviously I was given the reports first so it's not like I had to get the reports through the sellers and worry about tampering or whatever)
Price negotiations: Aside from a language barrier and having a guide through the country, this is where a good agent can be key. This is a lot like it is in the US (prices can change based on vet findings, etc), but having a native speaker is very helpful. Also be aware (if this matters to you) if the seller works on a "coupon system". Essentially, some really big sale barns will tell you "if you don't like the horse, you can exchange it for another of equal value in such and such length of time". I'm honestly not sure if I find this good or bad, it's just sort of how it works. These barns have so many horses, it becomes easier to basically give you "store credit" to buy a different horse than give back your money. Oh, because I forgot to mention: European laws protect the consumer far more than the US (which does basically nothing in the case of horses). You have 2 years to return a horse, even if the horse was properly represented and it just didn't work out.
Import: Depending on where you fly into, it's safe to say that you will need to allocate $7500-$12k to import. Geldings only require 2-3 days of quarantine (depending on the time it takes to get bloodwork done), so that is why they are the most popular for import. Mares have to stay in quarantine for 3 weeks (I think that's right? Feel free to correct me anyone who has experience with this). If you are importing a stallion, I believe they are also 3 weeks AND they are required to breed to 2 mares during that time (it's flushed, no foal) to ensure they don't have equine STD's. Obviously since this is quite a hassle, only certain quarantine barns will accept stallions and I'm sure the import cost is far beyond what I have estimated above. Also, a pallet of horses (yup, they call them pallets) has 3 stalls and they will not fly the horses if the pallet is not filled. (Yeah, no extra leg room situations)
Ok, this was pretty long, but I'm sure I've missed something. If anyone has questions, please ask! I hope this was interesting and/or helpful.

I came across some documentation of the insurance company where it was described that you can use IPT as collateral to buy property. The property is bought in private name and financed with a bullet loan. The monthly or annual interests are paid also privately. The IPT is initially used as a collateral and at the age of retirement it is used to pay the full capital. You make the IPT payments in the company, invested in TAK21/23 and deductible trough the 80% rule. The property and usufruct are private.
It sound like a good plan. You can buy investment property and benefit from the rent already now without the need of heavy loans or large own contribution. In case you need the cash at the age of retirement you can always sell the property again which value most likely has grown.

The plot is a long lost lover plot, Involving a powerful witch who is very important to the Kingdom of Prithvi, my OC. As an 18 year old, she would travel to a far away village named SurakDeva to treat a new, unknown illness with her father as part of her training. Upon arriving, she would meet a boy. She ended up staying for two years, completely falling in love with this boy and spending most moments when she wasn't taking care of people with him. Her father found it cute but, they had to leave eventually. Once the disease died out, they had a very tearful goodbye, and she left back to the kingdom, never to see each other again.
10 years later, the very same boy, now a man she had fallen so deeply in love appeared in Prithvi in need of healing.

Information about me:
24m, live with 23F and my 1yr old son. Currently Renting a Highrise council flat.
Annual Income: £27k Girlfriend is on UC and spends hers on baby clothes takeouts etc. So not including that.
Monthly Take Home: £1789.24
Outgoings: £1262.93 (Groceries Utilities Rent Council Tax Phone)
Debt: £5215
As you can see I am currently in £5215 debt spread over my overdraft, Argos card, Monzo Flex, Credit Card.
My goal is to save 20k for a house deposit, and move out. If I do not spend a penny, I will have just over £500 to spend, so getting out of debt would take me 11 months. That is without accounting for holidays, Birthdays etc. Then saving 20k would take me 3.3 years. (Even less if I use the LISA)
That means for the next 4-5 years, no holidays or anything to get this house sorted. My girlfriend wants to be a stay at home. but we are not very happy with where we live at the moment. I am grateful for having the flat, but I want better for my son.
I am currently 24, and I am desperate to get a nice house to live in, that is my main goal. I am currently driving around in a 2006 Corsa, to save money. If that breaks down then I am going to have to spend 1-2k on another car. I was wondering what would people do in my situation? My wage may go up once I get certified as a cloud Engineer, but I do not want to account for that, just in case it does not happen.
What would be the best way to get a house in this situation? It does not seem achievable. Only other idea is to focus all that extra money and paying the debt and getting debt free, and then saving only 20% of my income towards the house (£358) which will give me just under £4300 per year. and puts me at the max limit for the help to buy isa. saving £5300 per year towards the house. Which would take just under 4 years of savings. So 5 years away to get a house.
During that time though. I think we will be planning on another child.

Let's get to the games:

GnollHack [Game Size: 1.1 GB] (Free)

Genre: RPG / Roguelike - Offline
Orientation: Landscape + Portrait

Gnollhack is a fun variant of the famous roguelike “Nethack” designed specifically for mobile. In comparison to the original game, it features numerous quality-of-life changes, both ASCII and graphical tiles for the dungeon floors, and even voice acting.
A major advantage over other Nethack variants is Gnollhack’s large and intuitive UI. The most used commands are available on our main screen, and everything else is just a tap away and presented with clear and noticeable icons. The UI may look more cluttered than most modern mobile games, but it’s a big step up in comparison to many Nethack-based games.
What's also great about Gnollhack is that it's easier in the beginning than it is towards the end, which is completely different from Nethack and its other mobile variants. This makes it perfect for those that aren't familiar with the genre’s unforgiving gameplay and crazy learning curve.
The graphical ground tiles are impressive for a game genre where the archaic ASCII art style is typically preferred. The character and enemy sprites are also well-made and even presented according to creature size, which means larger enemies actually have larger sprites. Lastly, it’s much easier to navigate our inventory in Gnollhack than in most similar games since our weapons, armor, wands, etc. are actually presented visually.
The biggest downside to Gnollhack is its 1+ GB size, which isn’t massive by AAA standards but is ridiculously large for a Nethack variant. It's also heavy on battery usage, although that is to be expected with gameplay where so much is going on at all times.
Gnollhack is completely free without ads or iAPs. Overall, despite its few flaws, it’s a fantastic introduction to the brutality that is Nethack.

Wavecade [Total Game Size: 221 MB] ($2.99)

Genre: Arcade / Bullet-Hell - Online + Offline
Orientation: Landscape + Portrait

Wavecade is a beautiful retro-styled roguelike arcade space shooter where we control the speed of time and destroy waves of incoming space blocks to score as many points as possible.
As we dodge and swerve our way through the 80's retro-inspired neon space, our ship automatically fires at any blocks in sight.
But this is where it gets interesting, because if we pull our ship toward the bottom of the screen, time slows down, allowing us to precisely maneuver away from projectiles and environmental space hazards. Pushing forward toward the top of the screen speeds up time beyond 100%, with greater points and rewards the faster we’re traveling.
After each run, experience gained unlocks new ranks that let us customize our ship. Cosmetics and new abilities can be configured and equipped before starting a new run, and even the appearance of the blocks we're facing can be customized to our liking.
A wide variety of powerups and weapons can be found throughout each run, leading to some wonderfully overpowered moments of total destruction. But some buffs and abilities are so effective that blocks don’t even make it on screen before they're destroyed, which is a little disappointing since we don't get to see the vibrant neon particle-filled explosions.
The touch controls can be frustrating at times. By default, we tap and drag our ship around manually, but this leaves our ship and the area directly around it hidden by our finger during play. Thankfully, the ship can be offset in the settings, or a virtual joystick can be enabled.
The visual and audio experience of Wavecade is incredibly satisfying, and its fantastic soundtrack perfectly fits the aesthetics.
For $2.99 on iOS with no additional monetization, it’s a very enjoyable arcade shoot ‘em up with relatively quick runs and a rewarding high-score system.

Down in Bermuda [Game Size: 513 MB] ($5.99)

Down in Bermuda is a cute isometric puzzle adventure from the creators of “Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise”, where we explore the mysteries of a secluded island by participating in a series of brain-testing puzzle activities.
Each level consists of a large 3D island that we can freely observe from all sides in search of interactive objects, mini-games, and puzzle clues. We need to click, swipe, and drag said objects in a specific sequence to complete each puzzle, and the key to success lies in attentiveness, a bit of luck, and sometimes clicking all the suspicious spots in the hope that something meaningful happens.
We also get to meet local inhabitants and help them with their problems – all while searching for a way to escape the island. The puzzles in each scene can be solved in any order, but we still need to finish certain scenarios to proceed in the game.
A huge portion of the gameplay revolves around finding and gathering all the glowing stars hidden in each level. While we can use a handy star map to easily locate them, there is a special achievement if we manage to succeed without its help.
We may also find special keys used to open advanced parts of the puzzles on previous islands, so a bit of backtracking is required to complete the game 100%. Other than that, the game progresses in a linear fashion, which can be disappointing for hardcore puzzle fans, but is perfect for casual play.
Down in Bermuda is a premium game without ads or iAPs that costs $5.99 on iOS. Despite being rather short, it provides an engaging puzzle-solving experience that I’m sure anyone fond of high-quality mobile adventure games will appreciate.

lichess [Game Size: 137 MB] (Free)

Genre: Board / Casual / Chess - Online + Offline
Orientation: Portrait + Landscape

lichess is a free open-source chess app with zero ads and nothing hidden behind a paywall.
The app is fast and simple. We can start a game in seconds, and since there are very few options and menus, everything is centered around actually playing. It features several online and offline chess variations, but in comparison to the Chess.com app or the website version of lichess, it still lacks several advanced features.
We also have access to puzzles, game lessons, and some game analysis options, but all of this works much better in the website version.
lichess is the second most popular chess platform after Chess.com, and if you love chess, you probably already have both installed. lichess is just a tad more outdated overall, but at least we don’t have to live with any paywalled features.
The lichess mobile app is a few years behind the website version in terms of usability – in large part because the mostly volunteer team managing the game is just not focused on the mobile version for some reason. A great example of how rudimentary some parts of the app are is the extremely clunky board editor that looks like it was made in a day and then never updated.
Ultimately, it’s a simple but fully free chess app for serious players that is amazing for starting fast bullet and blitz games. It lacks functionality and varied bots but has everything else you need for a great chess experience.

Arrow War is a casual and silly castle defense game where we manage a group of archers firing arrows at the waves of incoming enemies that try to seize our tower.
Starting with just a single archer, we must equip it with new bows, upgrade existing ones, enhance the skills of the bow, and much more to grow stronger. As we progress, we unlock more archers, each of which we need to manage in the same way.
Every wave takes a few minutes to complete, after which we’re taken back to our base, where we can upgrade our team in different ways, start the next wave, or play other game modes.
During combat, our archers automatically aim at the nearest enemies, while we strategically trigger their skills. So the combat isn’t idle, but it’s an ideal game to play while watching TV or doing something else.
There are a ton of ways to upgrade our archers and castle wall, lots of fun bows to unlock, quests to complete, and areas around our castle to capture so they automatically produce resources for us. Unfortunately, the combat is always the same across all the game modes.
The game features a premium currency, but we earn plenty of it for free, allowing us to buy things such as auto-aim for our main archer. There is technically also an energy system, but we gain so much of it that it’s rarely ever felt. Overall, the progression is nicely balanced for free players, and I haven’t experienced any paywalls.
Unfortunately, the game doesn’t utilize the wide screens of modern smartphones.
Arrow War monetizes via incentivized ads, a few forced ads, and iAPs to grow stronger faster. The iAPs aren’t necessary to progress, but the 5-second forced ads may become annoying. Some of the iAPs remove these ads.

Cash was trash for the past fifteen years, but since the Fed started raising interest rates, the what used to be called king is taking back its throne. Cash is King now and will be for as long as the rates remain high. When rates were zero or close to it, holding cash was basically a way to lose money. Why? Simply because inflation was eating away some of its value. This has changed recently when the Fed started raising interest rates. Now rates are high enough that keeping cash is generating income and beating inflation in some cases. Someone can easily get 4.5% interest on their money these days by keeping their money in a saving or a CD account at the bank. This change will have a huge impact on stocks and the stock market going forward.
When rates were zero or near zero money moved to stocks as it made more sense to invest than keeping the money in the bank and get no interest. This is no longer the case. Money has started moving away from stocks and into savings, CD accounts and anywhere that you are guaranteed a nice return. You can see this in Tech stocks. During the past two years many tech companies have lost half of their values at least. I expect more of this to continue for the next few years. Someone must be very careful and very selective when it comes to investing in the stock market during this period.
Amazon will not hit the skies, neither will TSLA, specially in this interest rates environment. Be very careful where to invest your money for the long term if you decide to be in the market. Having cash these days might not be a bad idea.
As I previously stated in other posts I continue to like the energy and banking sectors for the near and medium terms given that rates will remain at current levels, stabilize and not go even higher. I believe these sectors will be winners for the next few years in this environment.

- If you're entering this field, eCPPTv2 is not for you. Try eJPT. With the exception of the exam, the course is still free.
- If you have some experience, e.g., you know what HTB is, you regularly practice on the platform, you have some knowledge of web application/network security, but don't have much real-world experience, then go for it. You'll get a grasp of what kind of different areas are generally covered when performing a penetration test in various areas, and it will force you to write an actual report. But it won't, and I emphasise *won't*, make you a professional, highly-skilled hacker. The course is basically an introduction to the real world.
- If you're already working as a pentester for some years, it is tough to recommend. You might expand your general knowledge in areas you don't often encounter, and discover some tips for your cheat-sheets. If you're looking for a challenge to step-up your skills, this is not the way.

Non-TLDR;
Hello there! I'd like to summarise my experience with eCPPTv2 course and exam and hopefully provide you with an idea if this certification is worth your time and money.

Who
I have been a full-time pentester for about four years. As for the technical side of my day-to-day job, I have experience with web/mobile/infra testing, code reviews, redteam engagements etc. etc. Before that, I was a full-time programmer (developer if you want) for about the same time.

Why
I decided for eCPPTv2 for several reasons:
- I needed some certification anyway due to some customer requirements and future legislation.
- From the experience of my colleagues, the materials were decent.
- I went through some of the eJPT materials as they are free, and I liked the labs.

Materials & Labs
I only got through some of the materials. I went primary for what I thought was necessary for the exam. Therefore, I skipped the wifi stuff, metasploit, partially powershell, and maybe some other minor areas.
I think that the slides do a decent job at explaining the given topics. Sometimes the amount of information can get pretty overwhelming, though. It sucks that you can't (officially) download the slides. Especially for someone who takes the course as a part of his/hewhatever career and knowledge development, the slides might provide a good reference in the future.
I'm not a fan of video-based materials in general but I watched them anyway. The topics were nicely explained, and one can see how the various tools and techniques work before trying them on your own.
On the flipside...
Materials should be reviewed and updated. You will find a few broken links, tools not available for download anymore, or demos presenting really old tools. Not a big issue in the end, but still, I wouldn't expect something like this in a course you pay over 700 bucks (for a year).
Sometimes I found the order of the modules confusing. Something like this happen several times:
- Topic A is explained.
- Lab is followed. You exercise topic A (and topic B).
- Topic B is explained.
No idea if this is by design, but I don't like it. If you want to do labs on your own and get stuck, you can end up thinking, "What the hell am I missing? I tried everything I just learned". Well...Maybe you didn't try something that wasn't explained yet.
As for the labs...
I liked them anyway. Labs are mostly narrowly focused, with well-written walkthroughs if you get stuck. Don't blindly follow walkthroughs, though. Always think about different approaches, what would you do if X or Y wasn't working, or what tool would you use if tool Z wasn't available.
Labs are the place where you should take notes and make cheatsheets. Full stop. Do it.
If there is something I didn't like, then the fucking VPN connections. Countless times I encountered connection drops, which made me pull my hair when I had to execute some kill-chain for the third, fourth time. Moreover, the target machines got a different IP address on every restart, forcing me to edit all my noted commands and payloads every time.
Also, there are small tests (quizzes?) you can take after completing a set of modules. Fuck them. Really. There is no point in bothering with them at all.
Reporting is discussed very briefly, in my opinion. It gives you an idea of how to structure it, a general idea of its content, and some references. Nothing more, really. I think they should go deeper. The exam requires you to write an executive summary and provide a description, recommendations and details for each finding. I can imagine that people who have never written such a document may struggle with this. Everyone has their own style when writing reports. It needs time, practice, and feedback before you brush it. But maybe they should provide you at least some idea on how to think when writing reports and provide some proper feedback after you submit it at the end of the exam.
Why I have such a problem with this is the fact that the course is named "Penetration Tester *Professional*". As I learned very soon, the report you provide to your customer is the most important part of your work. Your customer won't sit next to you to admire how cool, smart mega-turbo-hacker you are. You are helping your customer to find security issues and provide guidance on how to remediate them. This is basically what you do as a professional penetration tester. I feel like this fact should be emphasised more in the course.
I realise the points above might be just the result of my frustration, but sometimes I couldn't help myself to stop thinking, "Guys, people are fucking paying you for this course. Why can't you fix this and that".

Exam - Testing
It took me about six months to go through the materials (please note that not all of them as mentioned). I mostly studied for about two hours in the evenings after work and during the weekends. If you don't have a full-time job and a girlfriend, you can probably go through all of the materials in about half a year. My (not-really) educated guess is that the exam covers about 60-65 % of the materials.
My two cents:
- Don't overthink. The problems you will face when exploiting the targets and gaining root privileges are very CTF-like. Everything is simple and straightforward.
- Enumerate. Make some cheat-sheet for proper enumeration and follow it. As mentioned, the problems on the exam are not that difficult, just take your time to look for stuff.
- In the end, I felt like the exam is all about pivoting. Practice it in the labs. Understand how to route networks and how to forward ports. I used metasploit throughout the exam, and it was sufficient for it.
- Don't stress about buffer overflows. Take your time to understand it, do labs and take notes you can follow. If you do it properly, the actual exploitation will be a matter of copy-paste. I guess I won't spoil anything when I tell you that you don't have to worry about the advanced topic (very briefly talked about in materials) like beating ASLR, SEH-based overflows and others. It's a buffer overflow in its simplest form.
- Luckily, in comparison with labs, I had no issues with VPN connection or stability during the exam.

Exam - Reporting
I finished the report in about two days, but I had two major advantages:
- I've already written a dozen of reports before.
- I have a collection of findings I could re-use in the report with minor changes.
In cases when I needed some inspiration, I usually looked at findings in Nessus database (https://www.tenable.com/plugins/search) and expanded on it.

Today, we have the privilege of using ChatGPT. Be careful here. Don't blindly copy/paste its output! Always verify its results, get inspired, and put together your own version.
The report was reviewed in about three days. Got a response that I'm missing some details in the description of buffer-overflow exploitation. After submitting the report again, it took another three to four days to review it. A friend of mine was waiting almost a month, so I was pretty lucky.
I spent about 60 hours doing the exam, including reporting. From my point of view, the two weeks you have in total is plenty of time to finish the exam.

I had these guys in Florida and NJ that could sell me super cheap Cisco gear. Onur Aksoy, Dave Durden, and Ron Askoy of Pro Network Entities always treated me right. Now they've ghosted me. I got some quotes from other resellers and I'm shocked at how much higher the prices are. Anybody have any leads on somebody who could match the prices from my old buddies?

I am working on an art installation, with a touchscreen, Debian 11 and KDE Plasma. I am writing the UI for it with Typescript as a website which is open in Firefox. The touch screen worked out of the box, but it works as a mouse. When I touch a div it triggers the mousedown event and only one finger at a time. Is there a way for the touchscreen to work as a phones touchscreen so it would trigger touchdown events and there could be multiple touches at the same time? Where do I need to look into, is this handled by the window manager or the driver for the touch screen? Is it even possible with a browser? I am not looking for multi touch gestures, which is what most articles online are about.

So ill get right into it. For the past 4 months i have been getting really sick every 2/3 weeks. Before these 4 months i basically never ever got sick at all. This gives me the indication that my immune system is likely compromised. I went to the hospital in april so a few months back and everything checked out normal, EXCEPT my blood protein was slightly high. The doctor said this is normal as this could fluctuate up and down, but i beg to differ.
I heard that having your blood protein high can be an indication of hiv , and that your immune system is producing anti bodies. Now the blood test didnt include a hiv test, was just the regular stuff when i went to the hospital.
Now heres the thing, 4 months ago me and someone kissed for a few minutes. We did a bit of dry humping with both our clothes on, around 4/5 layers of clothes for about 10-15 seconds. I also briefly touched her down below aswell, no fingering involved. Just the outer layer.
Now heres my issue, could i have gotten hiv this way? No sex involved. Like would the hiv of lived on my finger when i touched her down below. Im thinking i may of touched my genitals 30mins later when peeing. Could the hiv on my finger of infected me this way? Or through us kissing could it of spread.
Theres no other explanation to this other than hiv from the looks of it. Why have i constantly been getting sick after this encounter? How long does hiv take to compromise your immune system to the point where u cant fight off regular flus or colds. Could this happen in a span of a few months?

So In my country, there is a festival for girls where it's a tradition to wear new dress. It lasts for three days and some girls wear new dresses for every 3 days. I was actually excited for it as I had already searched for nice tops and a pair of jeans that I really liked and were trendy. One top especially as I had seed it one one of friends and really liked it. So I had added it to cart, just a different colour. In my area, It is norm to only buy new dresses on festivals as there are many festivals and those dresses are enough. I have gone one size up so a lot of dresses don't fit me anymore.
But in last few years, My father buys me dresses but repeats one thing at first always, "You weren't like this before. You knew how to adjust. You would just wear your sister's old ones. You didn't ask for too much. You were better before" and this eventually spirals to how I don't study hard as before and don't get first position like before. It happened in these lockdown times. Maybe because my mom used to wreck havoc about how MANY dresses me and my sisters had and how it was too much to clean etc.
This year I had made many impulse purchases but I still kept the cost to a bare minimum. Like my birthday outfit was nearly 10 US dollars.(I am Indian). Another was 6. I just found a cheap online shopping site. This time I had properly researched and read the reviews before I chose my outfit. I then showed it to my mom. She liked one top and my jeans. But didn't like the other one. (the one I liked from a friend). But I still pestered her to let me order it. She just said wait, wait and delayed it. Now It's very close the date of festival and there is not enough time for shipping. I confronted my mom about it and she was like, buy it from local shops. But it's costlier and they don't have what I like. But I still said okay.
It happened in the morning. I thought my mom meant she would go with me for shopping so I asked her again some time ago. She angrily said It's not time yet. wait. But then she just called me into the bedroom and said to my father that she (I) wants something. I didn't understand at first but then got it. I said about the festival. But my father repeated again, "You knew how to adjust....." I was fed up so I stood up and went, "ok , I don't need a new outfit at all, I am adjusting " and stormed out of the room. But my father called me and said " No I am not asking you to adjust, You can buy a dress. Why are you getting so angry nowadays? " I just replied, " Whatever. I am totally okay with not buying and I will not celebrate it at all." My father insisted and it was done. Keep in mind that yesterday beacause his vegan friend came over who was vegan and didn't eat in meat cooked dishes or stove, He bought a new induction cooker for him alongwith new dishes. And his friend only comes over once every few months.
Then my mom finally interjected saying okay go to ________(a nearby shop) and buy her a dress. I was totally bummed. Then she said that also take her cousin and buy her one too. (My father's sister's daughter who has been staying in my uncle's house these few days.) And my father quickly agreed. My mother asked my father for a dress for my older which he also agreed.
Now we will go out in a few minutes. But I am dreading it actually. In the past few years, I have been doing a struggle, a protest like in a court to defend myself just for what? To have a bare piece of clothing. But for others it's easy for my parents to just give money. When it comes to me, No, I go out too much, I have so many problems that I cannot be given anything. Yesterday I literally had to beg for 75 cents to buy a fancy clip at a fair. It is too much. And my father would not let me buy anything trendy as it would not be to" his liking". Ultimately I would be in most conservative shit which is too big as anything else is too short or so that I have space to grow, which in the case of oversized t-shirts, completely different, as it's weird and too much. I am planning to be in my old clothes till it literally rips off or my shirts become so tight and short that it becomes a crop top. No need for so much drama for a simple outfit which I would have bought happily for a cheaper rate and to my liking.

So I had a nightmare. I woke up from it less than an hour ago. It was one of those nightmares where you wake up from a nightmare in your dream and you’re still dreaming but you think you’re awake. Read on for details.
My oldest brother SAed me when I was 10/11 (I don’t remember because I blocked it out until two years ago, when I was 29) and he drugged me before that so I didn’t remember much of it anyway.
In the nightmare, i was back home (I currently live 1800 miles away from all of them) and was in my childhood bedroom where I realized my sex toys were all missing. (??) I then confronted my oldest brother who exposed himself to me because he knew I was knocking on his door and he slowly pulled his pants up. I walked into his room and saw like a hundred sex toys and said, “I know you have them, give them to me. Have you used them?? Why did you take them?!” And just kept getting more and more upset. Then I found my father outside and told him that my brother stole my sex toys (not sure why) and he just laughed in my face. Which honestly feels pretty spot on. Then I felt like I wanted him to be serious and I told him that my brother drugged and raped me when I was 10/11 and he laughed some more.
So then I woke up (still asleep) and realized it was a dream. I found my father somewhere and sat him down, and he had this big open gash on his head like I currently have one on my finger (from cutting up a salad a few nights ago, weird) and I told him about the SA. I said, “he drugged and raped me when I was 10,” and he just paused and got this look on his face like he was going to say something like a parent would, and then said, “That was my life.” And then I tried to tell my mom the same thing and she just said nothing. That’s when I woke up.
Some context for this is that when I was 25, the same brother texted me that he was fantasizing about my sexually and wanted to perform oral sex on me. I ended up in the psych ward for like a month (just under a month) and when I got out, at first ny parents were ‘supportive,’ but then after a month they expected me to come home for Shabbat (I was living an hour away from them, hour and a half by train) and sit at the same table as him. I did, because I didn’t have self-worth at the time and I didn’t know I was being abused really. That continued until covid and then I moved to almost the other side of my country.
I feel really shaken and unsafe, even though I live alone and always lock my doors and closet door when I sleep and I have no plans to see them ever again at this moment.
Please, any support would be appreciated. I can’t believe my mind did that to me. I won’t admit it to myself, but actually, telling them the truth and them reacting like themselves/abusers/the narcissists that they are is one of my biggest fears. I feel so scared. How do I ground myself today? I’m gonna go for a swim and possibly do some bouldering while listening to Beyoncé, but I feel really scared.

I think my boyfriend is the devil in human form. He is charming and has all the qualities I could say are those of my perfect man but he makes me feel uneasy
We have been together for over a year and he is kinda perfect. He picks me up from my house and takes me to his, we hang out i spend the night and he drives me home ( I’m used to men having me drive to them), he opens doors for me, buys me random gifts, pumps my gas when I’m the one driving, super sweet, loves to spend time with me, talks about a future with me, surprises me with my favorite flowers, he makes me feel safe from other people (I feel small and cute and like a damsel in distress and he is my hero), he is proud to have me by his side and shows me off, constantly showers me with love and affection
Here is the devil in him ( I think) He has to be in constant contact with me and knows my exact location. He will sometimes “stop by to surprise me” but I sense it’s to make sure I’m not- not where I said I was. He doesn’t let me have friends especially guy friends He is allowed to have girl friends because they are married so it’s ok

Hey! I want to build or buy a PC but don't know where to start or what to buy. I'm looking to play VR games like vrc, bonelabs, beatsaber, and Pavlov as well as regular games like Skyrim, rainbow six siege, and more. Can anyone helpe decide what to build?

A few months ago I began experiencing numbness and tingling down my arm into my top 3 fingers. Orthopedic said there’s some c5 disk wear in my neck and he thinks it could be a disk pinching a nerve but not sure yet (pending an MRI). My gut feeling is it’s workout and posture related and more based around my lower neck and traps. I’ve had a deep tissue massage and the tension the massage therapist placed around my trap and upper back was causing the arm numbness to increase which indicates to me the two things are connected, so I feel like there’s multiple things contributing to it but not sure.
The orthopedic suggested I try physical therapy first so I went to a clinic that a coworker recommended. The therapist I’m meeting with is apparently the clinic director and is really nice, but I’ve been to about 4 sessions now and it feels like a waste of time and I’ve been disappointed in how “hands off” they have been, and this is where I’m not sure if my experience is normal and was wondering what you guys think?
Basically the clinic is just one big open room with exercise equipment etc and all the therapists stand in the middle at laptop stations. He will tell me what to do, then walk away to his laptop or chat with the other therapists / give guidance to them, or go help other clients, then I basically have to go find him after each exercise to let him know I’m done and he directs me to do something else and again walks away.
I am an athletic guy who’s Been working out since I was a teenager, and I feel like everything he tells me to do is basic / generic stuff that I could easily do myself from watching YouTube videos and amounts to “warmup” routines. Nothing so far has been eye opening or an “aha” moment in terms of adjusting form or posture or gaining new insight into things. He never stands there to watch my form or offer guidance. He will say “do two sets of 20 reps of these” and then walk away and it just feels very hands-off to me. And the exercises themselves as mentioned above seem very generic — standing at one of those rope pulley machines for example and doing pull motions with the handles… I can literally just go to my gym and do this, lol. And it doesn’t seem to be helping whatsoever with my issues. If I’m paying for a physical therapist I kinda expected it to be more interactive and hands-on.
Is this normal? Did I have the wrong expectations going into this? Or do you think I should find a new therapist? I feel like maybe because he is the director of the clinic his attention is being pulled in different directions during my sessions and that could be why it feels so hands off, but at the end of the day it just feels to me like a waste of time and money. I’ve noticed absolutely zero difference so far with anything I’ve done, and none of the exercises he’s having me do seem to actually hit the areas that I’m feeling the discomfort in, and I told him this and he said it was normal to not see any progression consistently and the things we were doing may temporarily worsen my condition, but “the key is for it to just not get worse week to week,” and to me that also sounded disappointing as I’m not attending physical therapy to prevent an issue from worsening - I want it to get better. And after 4 weekly sessions I’d say I have not seen any progression whatsoever.
I dunno, just burnt out and wondering what you guys think of my situation. Thanks!
