Withered animatronics

In give cake we see Freddy, not fredbear, giving cake while Charlie is murdered outside, (if Scott wanted Fredbear to be brown he would've just made him brown in FNAF 3 and 4), we know this is Freddy as his colors match the later seen Freddy head put on a dead child, along with the McFarlane building toys confirming this sprite as Freddy. Also in security puppet the other kids wear bracelets that match the withered animatronics eye colors. Also the FNAF SL breaker room map only lists 2 animatronics in Fredbear's. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, no puppet at all.
So, with all of this pointing towards Charlie being murdered at the first Freddy's, why is the idea of Fredbear's more appealing?

I have had this head canon for a long time now, and today I wanted to share all my ideas regarding this headcanon, and how it fits into the lore of FNAF.
First, a recap; Fredbear and friends is first seen in Five Nights at Freddy's 4, starring the titular Fredbear, as well as the classics, but in FNAF 4, there's a few more friends with us, seen in the child's bedroom and with the little girl on the playground, there's another set of Freddy and his gang, that remarkably remember the Toy Animatronics, despite them not being introduced into the company until 1987's location, but how can this be?
I think the Toys were actually part of the Fredbear and friends cartoon, since that would explain their merchandise being around longer than they were. And it wasn't uncommon in old cartoons for this to introduce merchandising characters, or new characters created for the show entirely.
Now onto the flipside of this theory, FNAF WORLD. FNAF WORLD is a colorful and silly game, a stark contrast to the previous games filled with fear, panic, dread, and terror. The plot of this game is that someone is trying to guide someone else down a better path than another person, and using the context clues of "I will put you back together." and the importance of Fredbear, it seems we are the Crying Child from FNAF 4, who's spirit is helping lead the others to a happiest day.
This is where things merge together, FNAF WORLD has a lot of inaccuracies to the FNAF cast, mainly Freddy being displayed with 2 buttons and no freckles, resembling an undamaged withered freddy, or Foxy having rings around the eyes, similar to shockingly, Nightmare Foxy.
My take is that all of these designs are similar to the ones from the Fredbear Cartoon, which likely is what hooked the Crying Child to Freddy's lovable band, despite his fear of Fredbear's Family Diner (It's likely the springlocks but that's another thing.) And since the starting cast is Fredbear, the FNAF 1 cast, and the toys, I think this was the cast of Fredbear and Friends.
We also know through the logbook there is a spirit that can only edit things, and can't create things on their own, they act very much like Crying Child, acting nervous and afraid, and we also have the FNAF 3 minigames in FNAF WORLD, so my idea would be Crying Child using memories of his to build a bridge to the other memories, something akin to The Fourth Closet, where memories can be given to others, Michael does it, and saves Carlton's life.
Now please take this with a grain of salt, it's just a personal idea I had, I know the holes in logic, mainly with Mangle being Mangle when the name only came from the FNAF 2 location being on a budget due to constant repairs on the poor fox. I just think it's an interesting idea, to me it feels like a less busted Dream Theory, it explains plotholes with the Toys and such but still keeping things from turning into "This didn't happen so ignore the logic."

I was recently playing FNaF 2 and sometimes my camera goes out and after that there is a withered in the office. Is that a glitch/my mouse puts the camera down or the animatronics take the cameras down when they enter the office.

I am currently trying to put together a timeline with a friend, and got stuck in something I'm sure has been answered somewhere else, we just cannot find. I'm mostly talking about 3 minigames, SAVETHEM, Foxy Go! Go! Go!, and Give Gifts, Give Life. I know there is at least 10 dead kids, those found in SAVETHEM and Foxy Go! Go! Go!. I would assume those in SAVETHEM possess/are stuffed in the withered animatronics? But didn't those who possess/were hidden in the withered animatronics die at a birthday party, showed by the Happiest Day mini game in FNAF 3? Also, if Give Gifts, Give Life is the same kids in any of the other mini games, how? In the book "The Ultimate Guide" it says that Give Gifts, Give Life is in a different location than the Foxy and SAVETHEM. It is also under "Fan Theories", though. This is assuming Foxy game is in FNAF 1 location and SAVETHEM is in FNAF 2 location (no clue where Give Gifts, Give Life is though..) 5 Kids die at FNAF 2
5 kids die at FNAF 1... at the same time? There's 2 newspaper clippings that caught my attention: one that says 5 total kids have gone missing at the FNAF 1 location.. but then another one saying 2 kids went missing. (assuming the latter newspaper was before the first). I'm following the assumption that the news papers are talking about FNAF 1 location. Also, if 5 of the kids are stuffed in withered animatronics, what happens to the other 5 who aren't found either? Toys?

1. Since we know that Mike Schmidt is Michael Afton from FNAF 1, and he wants to be here, why does Jeremy Fitzgerald (the nightguard in FNAF 2) not leave after the first 2 Nights? He knows that the toy animatronics are able to move cause they are programmed that way, but what about the withered animatronics? I don't think $100.50 is enough motivation to risk my life.
2. We know that Michael is around 15 by the time the Bite of '83 happens, so I am sure that he IS smart enough to know not to put a small child in the mouth of an animatronic, but he does it anyway. Why?
3. Why did people still go to Freddy's after the Bite, and especially after the first MCI? The Bite could be considered an accident, but the MCI was clearly a murder. So would parents think logically and not come to that place again?
4. Why was there no day shift employee during the Bite? William wasn't there and it isn't known if Henry was there. Also, it doesn't make sense to not have dayshift employees at Fredbear's, since the animatronics weren't equipped with the facial recognition tech.
5. How did the Missing Children believe Afton? His lies are anything but creative, haven't they heard about the Phrase ''Stranger Danger?''. Yes, I know he was in a mascot suit, but still, the kids aren't 5 or 6, they are 11,12 and 13. That is an age where you know not to trust strangers.
6. Weren't there any witnesses? Did literally no one see a 6'2 yellow bunny suit luring kids into a backroom?
7. Why would someone reopen Freddy's for a 4th time in Security Breach? The only plausible reason is that Ms.Afton reopened it, but if she did, how would she find the money to build a VR Game, hire employees, build a multi-story mega mall and build the animatronics with such detailed programming?
8. Isn't Cassidy tired of torturing William, like she has seen him die quite a bit, isn't it time to let it go now?
9. Why did Afton have kids? We all know he doesn't care about them, so why?
10. This is the last one, but did not a single parent or employee see Charlie outside of the Pizza Place? Also, why was the door locked, it's not like the restaurant was closed, there were still kids in there.

If phone guy dies in night four of FNAF 1, how does he reappear in the second game. Now I thought I got the answer, FNAF 2 is a prequel. But I noticed that phone guy in FNAF 2 mentioned the fact, "no closing doors," which we had to do in FNAF 1. Also the withered animatronics, arent they the ones from FNAF 1 just taken apart. (I'm not a lore expert and mainly play the games for fun, but it has been bothering me.)

#10 FNAF 4... FUCK FNAF 4 ALL MY HOMIES HATE FNAF 4. This game was so unfathomably shit it's unbelievable, the jumpscares were by far the scariest in the entire series but nothing else in this entire game was done well. The lore was all
over the place and is so bad that to this day no one knows what Scott was trying to do, the gameplay was generally terrible, and after night 3 was just boring. Overall I just can't fathom FNAF 4. WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87? NO ITS NOT BECAUSE THIS GAME IS A BIG BITCH #9 FNAF Security Breach. I don't hate this game. I hate the ending but considering the time constraint it's understandable and after seeing the RUIN trailer I'm hyped and I think that FNAF can bring it back around. The game isn't scary at all but it was never going to be considering the scale of it. I believe that as a horror game, it's flawed to its core but as a general game it's just buggy but generally fun. ok #8 FNAF World. I'm okay with FNAF World it's kinda fun and think that the fact that it's an RPG makes it better than FNAF Security Breach because it was never marketed as a mainline game or a horror game
#7 UCN. I enjoy UCN, it's not scary at all and is literally just gameplay with the only lore being that Gold Freddy has William in hell but that's all it was trying and needed to be. Overall I liked UCN and it's probably the funniest game and has the most replay value undoubtedly. Overall like a 7/10. Very good #6 Sister location. Sister Location is a genuinely great story with an amazing custom night even if the main game isn't replayable and those endings (scooping room AND MIKE REVEAL) were SO GOOD this game was amazing on first playthrough and I don't get why a lot of the fanbase has grown to dislike it. I watched uhyeahs vid but don't think his points were very good (except night four cuz that was shit) #5 FNAF 3. This was a great game. The only legitimate criticisms are that the jumpscare is bad and the gameplay sucks. And they are shit but literally everything else in the game is great. Think about it OG Springtrap's happiest day the OG end to fnaf amazing atmosphere and so much more were all here. W #4 FNAF 2. This is an incredible game that expanded the scope of the series so much. It introduced the purple guy, the withered animatronics, the puppet, and literally everything that made the original games so great and expanded on the first game beautifully gameplay wise making this one of the best #3 FNAF Help wanted I know some of you think this is blasphemy putting Help Wanted in anywhere but #1 but it's still top 3 and it's my list. Help wanted in vr was petrifying and it was the only game where I was actually scared by the jump scares, and I wasn't just scared I almost shit myself. So why not number 1? Because the exclusive content is mostly terrible, shit like the plush baby segment is what I'm talking about and the rest is just the other fnaf games. Plus the mobile and pc ports were god-awful. However, the original VR release and general scare factor of this game make it a god tier. #2 FNAF This game innovated the entire horror industry and was generally incredible. The game was also one of the scariest ever in the franchise only being beaten out by VR help wanted. The thing that makes it better than help wanted is the atmosphere and the fact that it was a pioneer in the industry. #1 FNAF pizza sim WAIT WAIT WAIT BEFORE YOU STAB ME AND HUNT ME IN THE STREETS I HAVE A REASON, the main complaint about this game is the shitty nights ruining it for them. However, the actual pizza sim part of the game makes up for it. BuT sHoUlD tHe PiZzA sIm PaRt EvEn CoUnT aS gAmEpLaY. READ THE TITLE OF THE GAME. The gameplay is serviceable but the real thing that makes this game for me is the lore. No bullshit with the entire ending to the story just laid out for you. Plus there was so much added to the lore in midnight motorist, fruity maze and the puppet minigame. On top of all of this the OST of this game was so fucking GOOD I unironically listen to that shit while working. And just to loop back to the ending, Henry's speech is the best ending to any FNAF game hands down, even better then happiest day and I would be genuinely content if it ended the franchise.

So I have a pretty smart (to me) question, if FNaF 1 is set in 1993 and FNaF 2 is 1987 then how are the withered animatronics existing if FNaF 2 is set before the FNaF 1 location was even built, also if Michael Afton is all the workers just with different names then how can he go from 1993-1987

There is something I wanna make clear in the teaser the second that feature(toy foxy) foxy and mangle is ture cannon here let’s get to the theory Frist as we examine the teaser on the left of mangle is a repaired foxy (aka toy foxy the pirate) now remember what phone guy in night 2 said? ( we retrofitted the withered animatronics with newer technology) then in the teaser featuring these two the foxy on the left might be a repaired version of foxy that we see leading up to fnaf which is where he is broken down In possibly meaning that children are afraid of toy foxy the pirate leading them to rebrand toy foxy to just foxy and place an out of order sigh outside of pirate cove

I don't know much about the lore but I do know that fnaf 2 came before fnaf 1 chronologically and the withered animatronics were redesigned by Afton to make the animatronics in fnaf 1. What I don't understand is where the withered animatronics came from, were they just there? or were they used in an old Freddy Fazbears pizzeria and were put into parts and services in fnaf 2? Hello, everyone! Welcome to another night! today I wanna talk about how I used to do fnaf heads! I'm pretty sure you have seen Andieanimatronic and her amazing cosplays or Skywarped 33 and his amazing glitch trap cosplay! or the most popular example Daregularsauce with his iconic realistic Glamrock Freddy cosplay. well, I always wanted to make at least a fnaf animatronic head, even with my lack of comprehension of creating heads using foam or simply cut out-cardboard paper. and so in 2019, I decided to make this dream come true. I tried looking at Andie's videos and seeing how she would create those. it took me a lot of time to understand it's not as hard as it sounds. making the cardboard base wasn't had but because the cardboard was hard it was kinda complicated to make smoother forms. I didn't have those felt-like fabrics so I decided to use paper mache for some reason. it worked but it wasted a lot of my time trying to do that. and it didn't even look good. I decided to give up and just paint it. haha. and that's how my Withered bonnie head turned out. pretty disappointing I know haha. but well i won't be too hard on myself since this was my first time. anyways have a great day and see you the next night!

Are the toy and withereds possessed? I thought that the five from fnaf 1 were the ones being possessed by the five kids killed, so how would anyone from fnaf 2 be possessed if it was before fnaf 1? (this is not including the puppet, im only talking about the toys and withereds)

(This'll probably mostly be about 1 and 2, with some 3 and 4 mixed in maybe)
• The buildings in 1 and 2 both used to be something else before they were Freddy's, which could explain the strange architecture.
• Some of Foxy's rips and tears came from his hook, while others came from obnoxious kids attacking him.
• The Show Stage also uses purple curtains similar to Pirate Cove
• The FNaF 1 location has a small arcade off to the side in the dining area, and the darkness prevents you from seeing it. The carousel seen in FNaF 2 is also there and goes off at night sometimes, whether it's ghosts or just shoddy manufacturing.
• When not killing you, Golden Freddy chills in various places you can't see on the camera map, like storage rooms or the Safe Room.
• Pirate Cove has a moon on its stage background to go with the Show Stage's sun.
• Both Freddy's locations we see have a drawing table somewhere off-camera, which has paper and crayons for kids to draw pictures.
• Freddy’s Toreador song and light-up effect were programmed for the case of the power going out at the restaurant, using a light sensor to see if it was darker than usual. The idea was that the song would comfort scared children. Instead, it usually had the opposite effect (but of course the company didn’t care)
• FNaF 1 has vents, but they're too small for the animatronics to fit in this time. (Bonnie just learned some stuff from Golden Freddy probably and can break the laws of physics)
• The camera maps are slightly inaccurate and there are some other rooms they don't show, such as storage rooms, control rooms, managers office etc.
• The space between the dining room, halls, and office in FNaF 1 is both the prize area and a storage room. The storage room is behind the prize area.
• In universe, the FNaF 1 Freddy’s is the most well-known version of the restaurant because it was open the longest. (1988-1993 or whenever depending on what timeline/au)
• In FNaF 1, we are at the final operating Freddy’s location. (probably canon but idk if it's confirmed) It was a small chain beforehand which was local to Utah/wherever. The pre-withered location was a standalone place, and the Toy location was planned to be a chain at some point (obviously this did not go through)
• When making the Toy location, Fazbear Ent. wanted to promote the arcade/video games more, so they made Toy Freddy love them.
• The Toys could only roam around one at a time during the day. One would go off stage, one would "sleep" or turn off for a bit to conserve energy, and one would stay on scanning the room for any danger.
• In universe, there is more corporate training/testing footage of the Toy animatronics available on the internet than home footage of them in action at the store. This was because Fazbear Ent. spent so much time and money preparing for their arrival while the actual location was open for so little. The training videos were saved and uploaded by former employees/technicians.
• Withered Freddy is the least damaged because the guys tearing them apart felt too guilty to rip up the main mascot. (But not the others apparently)
• Toy Chica's beak was made removable so technicians could reach her jaw/endo head better in case it needed fixing.
• FNaF 2's kitchen is located between the dining room and Party Room 4 (god i had to look up the party rooms to remember which one) and has an entrance under the Main Hall camera that we can't see. Again, the camera maps are slightly inaccurate.
• FNaF 1's entrance is located between the stage and restrooms, while FNaF 2's is located on the side wall past the Prize Corner
• Kids' Cove was the "toddler zone" of Freddy's
• The posters of Freddy, Bonnie and Chica in FNaF 3 (the ones going ":D") came from the original Freddy's where the pre-withereds were.
• Withered Foxy had long pants while Classic Foxy had shorts.
• The Toy animatronics were based on a weird figure set of the Freddy's gang from the early 80s (the ones we see in FNaF 4) The Mangle toy is a mini test animatronic Elizabeth got her hands on and destroyed for some reason
• Balloon Boy and The Puppet were based on pre-existing Freddy's (possibly Fredbear's) characters. They didn't return in the FNaF 1 building due to budget cuts (though puppet probably hangs around there anyway)
• The FNaF 2 building still exists and is used today. It's some random store now
• When it first opened, Fredbear's Family Diner originally had an "old fashioned" theme. Fredbear wore brown accessories, and Spring Bonnie only had a button on his chest. Sometime a few years later, there was a remodel where the place got a new, more colorful theme. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie were given new purple accessories.
• Fredbear's had a couple early arcade games off to the side, while the later Freddy's locations had more fleshed out arcade sections.
• There were multiple sets of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie made. They looked so much different from each other because Henry + William were always trying to come up with better ideas for their designs and could never settle on one.
• Henry voiced Fredbear, while William voiced Spring Bonnie. Fredbear was given a deep, friendly voice while Spring Bonnie had a snappy yet nice sounding one.
All I could think of for now. I've been back on a FNaF kick for the past few days so I decided to share them. I might post again or edit this if I think of more.
Also, I now realize that a lot of these are about the buildings themselves lol. I guess I'm just really into developing settings
(Also sorry if any of these contradict any lore. Its been a while and I stopped following the lore years ago. Also this was much longer than I expected it to be…)

Since everyone has a different view on how the springlocks work, let me explain using details from the books and games: The springlocks snap when touched, or when they get wet. Breathing or rapid movements (such as heartbeats and laughter) can make a springlock fail. The springlock pierces your skin, feeling like getting stabbed by a large needle. The movement of the springlock sets off other springlocks in a domino effect, piercing every bit of skin on your body. At this point, you might survive if the springlocks were re-wound. After a few seconds, the suit collapses in on itself, crushing and splitting your limbs. As the suit can't properly close, the animatronic shakes violently. The parts of the suit closest to the first springlock failure would collapse first, then the ones near that, until the entire body is crushed. The wearer's eye sockets and mouth has now been pierced and crushed, forcing the teeth and eyes to stick out the front of the suit. Then the animatronic folds at the joints, falling back into the Golden Freddy pose. The suit is now bleeding from every hole, and the wearer's neck is sliced and crushed, stopping them from making any sound or breathing. As the suit rattles, the wearer gets knocked around inside and is pulled in a little bit deeper. The wearer is probably dead by now from shock, blood loss, or brain damage. The animatronic now sits in a pool of blood, tears and Agony/ Remnant. The Agony is produced because of the immense pain of the failure, and it gets absorbed into the suit.
This answers a lot of theories, like the Shadows. RWQFSFASXC and Shadow Freddy are made from the agony inside the suits. The reason why they don't possess Springbonnie and Fredbear is because the bodies were removed from the suits. Springtrap is alive because the body of William is still in the suit, and Withered Golden Freddy is alive because the 2 children that are inside the suit.
