The next step in my fire plan is using a company pension that is not COLA adjusted I can take as early as 50 years old for about $1000 month and sliding scale to about $1900 a month if I wait to 60.
I'm 48 looking to fire at 55 where the pension will be about $1300. I'm looking to use that pension to offset/match a mortgage on a condo or house to take care of my housing cost for fire.
Other income streams will be the growth of my 401k (now about 520k) which I can take penalty free at 55 from my company, HSA 18k which can be used like a 401k at age 65, my emergency fund currently at 52k stocks and 62k cash, VA disability at $508 per month tax free, and I have full healthcare costs paid for the rest of my life through the VA. And Social Security of at least $1700 month taken at 62 even if I don't work any more.
I'm looking for ideas on where to look at condos/house for fire and any other ideas. I work at the Mesa airport so it would be best to stay within a half hour commute.

Hi!
I want to try to do something in the map editor, but I own (everything) on Xbox and I really don't want to buy all over again on PC, but there's no other way, for what I have read.
And the base game is on sale now on steam, so a couple questions.
- is it worth it? the editor? Doing maps is something I like, but...
- Can you do nice things only with the base game? Or lots of assests are behind the DLCs?

I went to my friends house and for the first time I got some makeup and girl clothes on, when I looked at the mirror I couldn't give a reaction, because I didn't wanted to enjoy the moment too much, because I knew eventually I would go back to my life in my christian household...
Regardless of my attempts, I ended up having the best night of my life, how do you cope with the wait? It sounds dumb that just doing nothing hurts but, when I experienced such glory of finally being myself to the fullest extent, it made every moment I spend with male clothes and a body I feel umcomfortable with feel... misserable, I know eventually I'll move out and be able to be myself every day and that it isn't gonna be the last time my friend allows me to go to her house so I can put makeup and girl clothes on, but...

So, my dad died, 2019, June.He was abusive. i don't even know how to write this, my mind is honestly only on this right now and even that is jumbled. don't mind spelling mistakes I'm rushing this before I start crying or whatever because I'm already really upsetmy dad was so abusive towards me and sister when he was alive. whenever we went to his place, he was a terrible person to us. sure he loved us but only when we were his perfect little girls ONLY WHEN WE WERE "BEHEAVING" ACCORDING TO HIM ONLY!!!!!!!!!! BUT WHEN WE DID'T HE WOULD- HLD US UP BY THE HAIR AND SCREAM AT US AND CALL US WORDS AND THROW US TO THE FLOOR.- SAY HE'D KILL HIMSELF- TELL US LIES LIES LIE- scream, scream scream- THREATEN TO ABANDON US- ABANDON ME AS A JOKE (he'd get me 5 mins later)- ACTAILLY FUCKING ABANDON ME FOR A BIT, NOT AS A JOKE. WHEN HE GOT UPSET, OUT OF THE CAR! AND HE'D DRIVE AWAY! Weirdest: someone tipped me in bath and body works items instead of money. I picked up the order because DD had a really good promotion going on (a nice bonus for accepting 20 orders) but it was a little weird
Another time I was delivering a frapp to someone’s house, and a woman answered the door and said “oh come in, she right upstairs”.
I was like “uh I’m w DoorDash, here’s your order”
And she’s like “oh I thought you were one of daughter’s friends coming to hang out w her!” Lol

I was so incredibly lonely for more than a year before i met my girlfriend 2 months ago. Then i had about the best 2 months of my life. She dumped me a week ago, and I've been so devastatingly lonely since then. But to meet her I had to act like I was happy being single. Woman don't want someone that is lonely and they don't want someone that needs a relationship to feel happy. But i will never be happy alone. Im in my 40s and i can't make it happen. I've tried so much: therapy, medication, keeping myself very busy with hobbies and improving myself and my house. But underneath it all I'm still so unhappy when I'm alone. So now i have to again pretend I'm happy being single and that i don't need a relationship... in order to get a relationship.

I know a youngster who started to play basketball, been noticing he seem to leave his shoes on inside more often since, and sometimes have to be reminded to take them off after coming home after practice otherwise he will leave them on around the house as long as his jersey/shirt is on. I Be curious whether they are that comfortable. As normally his shoes would come off immediately at door both out of custom , respect, and comfort. Though He is not the only one in my experience with such behavior change.
Same thing with skateboarders sometimes, apparently their shoes always stay on if they are going back on their board anytime soon. This also goes for people who work out or do certain occupations such as delivery driving.
I assume they become more physiologically more comfortable in shoes since they train so much in them and they break in well. Same goes for leaving shoes on when chilling on picnic blankets, with feet on seats or tables, or long journeys. Guess it comes to a point their mind simply don’t think about their shoes anymore?
Or it’s a matter of not mentally breaking stride, ie a runner who is jogging and need to go inside briefly might not be bothered with shoes as he would need to stop jogging to remove them?

I’ve (M37) been dating (F31) for about five weeks. It progressed pretty fast and we were going on two dates per week up until last weekend. We had sex on our 2nd date btw. Things were going well until last weekend. I noticed a sudden change in behavior. She began taking longer to respond as well as responding with less. I pulled back. Went 3 days without initiating contact. I decided to write her a special message telling her that I hadn’t realized we were seeing each-other a whole month and that I appreciated her and our time together. She responded then thanking me for the message and that she was having a good time too. We chatted about making plans to get together this weekend and it seemed like the rhythm was back. I sent her a couple of friendly messages to poke a laff, and she responded that that I’m cute but corny. I replied that I didn’t think she was into corny, which she replied she wasn’t but it was okay. After that I didn’t reach out until the day we were going to have our date. I picked her up to take her out. It was going okay and I gave her a couple of casual kisses. After finishing our dinner I attempted to kiss her on her cheek one more time as we were getting up from the table and she pulled far away. She said I was being too affectionate. I was really embarrassed and felt bad. She said that she doesn’t like how much I try. She claimed that her prior relationship was similar and that her ex had noticed that it was month to month. Well, I respected her wishes and pulled back on holding her hand and initiating touch. At my apartment we watched a movie. She snuggled up to me and held my hand. It was nice but also weird. I somewhat assumed that she would be sleeping over but offered to take her home or let her stay, but she said she had to do something at home. On our way to her house I asked what she was doing the next day and she said she had plans alone. At this point I wasn’t surprised that she didn’t want to see me or make plans. Not long after I mentioned an event next weekend that she might be interested in. It was also an open invitation. She didn’t express much interest.
I asked her to let me know if she was sleeping with someone or if she planned to because I wouldn’t want to risk catching and STI or playing unsafe. She agreed and I told her I wasn’t, as well as I wasn’t planning to date anyone else.
Here’s where I’m lost… she told me not to read too much into it and that it’s just the way she is. She could tell I wasn’t feeling great and asked me about it. I clarified that I wasn’t. I told her in the car that if she lost interest in me or she’s just not attracted to me anymore, just to let me know. I’m completely fine just being friends only.
She just kind of nodded. She kissed me on the lips, said “I’ll talk to you later?” I said yes. She got out of my car and walked to her home. I’m
I’m feeling empty. I think the right thing to do is to pull way back and not intimate any messaging. I’m also planning out a breaking off message. The question is, is this the right move for me? And if so, should I wait a week? I would tell her I appreciate our time together and really enjoyed it, but that I don’t think we are compatible romantically and ask if she wants to be friends only.
I really do like her but I don’t feel good right now.

I'm in Ontario, Canada for reference. This was a tough decision. My therapist and psychiatrist asked me to admit myself and were kind enough not to force me to do so involuntarily. I'm prideful so this was a difficult decision to make for me. I've never done this and my biggest fear is that I'll be turned away/sent home because I asked for the week off work because I knew it was possible they'd keep me for 72 hours. But what if they just send me home after 12 hours or something? Can anyone tell me the likelihood?
Some relevant info: I seriously considered suicide after a physical altercation with my dad 6 weeks ago. We have a history of violence. I'm seeing a therapist for BPD and trauma at the moment. The thoughts haven't slowed down and have just gotten worse if anything. I started researching suicide stats to narrow down the most effective methods and weed out the shit ones. I also have BPD and know that of all the pwBPD who attempt, only 10% complete, and something about that stat really offended me, because it felt like if I didn't do it, I was being nothing more than an attention-seeker.
Then I read an article about a 17-year-old boy who completed S using a particular method, and how he learned how to do it through a website that I won't name where suicidal ppl share information on how to do it, and write guides on how to achieve success using various methods in detailed, thought out ways. Since I discovered that site I've been on it daily.
I narrowed it down to CO and sodium nitrite but decided on CO in the end. From there, I needed a location and found ppl who were renting out single parking garages that are separate (so not attached to a house) that you can rent monthly. I won't include more details because I know we are all vulnerable here.
Anyway, I reached out to a few and started negotiating with one who was willing to lower his price a bit for me. I just didn't go through with it yet because I don't get paid until Thursday. But I've done a lot of research and after all I've learned, I'm certain my method would have worked.
A friend of mine, whom I trust VERY much, told me that if I don't tell my therapist all this info he will have me committed himself. So I did, and then she asked me to tell my psychiatrist, and both told me it's time pretty much to commit myself voluntarily. I'm so exhausted with work and life and can't fathom going to work this week so I agreed.
If you've read this far ... seriously, thank you guys. It means a lot. My question here is if I will be asked to leave just because I didn't have a specific date planned and therefore was not "at risk" enough. Honestly, this outcome would be humiliating for me and I can't handle it. I'm already embarrassed and angry that I've agreed to commit myself, but I have nothing left in the tank as it is.
Not only that, but I won't qualify for EI at all this week if I'm not held for 72 hours, which means I'll have called off a week of work for nothing.
Does anyone know how this works? Can anyone help me predict what they will do based on the info I've given?
