2023.06.09 10:08 TogetherV-com Gift Ideas for Him: 5 Best Father’s Day Gifts

Any child’s first relationship with a superhero is with their father. Children, as they grow older, require someone to act as a role model for them. The best example of a superhero is a father. The bond between a father and child cannot be explained, it’s unique. So to grow this bond, surprise your dad with some Father’s Day gifts. Thank him for all his love on this special day. Here are some best gifts for Father’s Day that will make him happy easily. Greet your dad with some classy gifts.
With a beautiful box of fresh flowers with a personalised message, you can make your dad feel special. Along with it, you can order a cake online and win his heart with simplicity and elegance.
When a child is in difficulty, the first person he thinks of is his father. So this time, it’s your turn to think about him. Get him gifts like clothes or a watch of his favourite brand. A wallet is another good option. Notice the thing he requires and get it to him to show care.
Let him open the door to a Father’s Day special balloon bouquet. There are a variety of options available. Make the day memorable by gifting it. You can even surprise him at home with a Father’s Day balloon decoration.
Make him happy by getting him a customised gift like a photo frame or a caricature or a mug or a cushion. Such gifts will touch his heart so try gifting unique gifts like these.
No celebration is complete without a cake, so order a Father’s Day cake that looks awesome and tastes awesome too!
If there is someone who is very dear to our hearts after our mother, it is our father. Although the love of a father may not appear to be the same as that of a mother, it is the father who strengthens us from within. So make sure you make this Father’s Day memorable for him. Apart from these gifts, you can even take him some classy experiences like a dinner or a spa session. Book them and let him relax!

2023.06.09 05:28 storiesof-adreamer 25 [F4M] #Nashville/USA - Looking for my special subby boyfriend for a GFD long term relationship!

(If this post is still up, I'm still looking!)
Hey there. I really want to develop a female led/slight gentle femdom relationship with a special guy.
When a lot of men see the term "female led relationship," they think, "Oh, the woman will make all the decisions with no input on what I think/want."
Are there dynamics like that? I'm sure there is. Personally, I'm not looking to be "the boss" or "above" you in any way. I want us to be equal... but have you give up control to me in a few other ways. :)
What do I mean? Keep reading on!
● ABOUT ME ●
You can call me Dreamer for now. (I'll tell you my real name once we get to know each other) Please do NOT call me Miss, Master, Dominatrix or Ma'am.
I'm 25 years old and an INFJ-T. I live in Nashville, Tennessee, USA (AKA Music City) and I'm on Central Standard Time. I'm a Black woman and I stand 5 feet, 7 inches tall. My eyes are brown and I wear glasses. I don't have any tattoos or piercings at the moment.
One thing I want to mention is that I'm plus size, AKA a bigger girl. I'm undergoing a vertical sleeve gastrectomy in two months to lose the excess weight I have in a sustainable and permanent way. I'm ready to regain my body and be healthy and confident again. I'd love to have you by my side throughout my journey!
As far as personality goes, I'd describe myself as empathetic and sweet. I like to help others as much as I can. In person, I tend to be rather shy at first. People tend to mistake that for weakness or gullibility. I'm anything but; my strength lies in introspection and quiet observation. I notice every nuance of a person's actions, words, body language, vibe... my intuition hasn't steered me wrong yet!
● INTERESTS ●
I won't go into detail on every single interest that I have but I'll talk about my biggest ones that you'll likely hear me mention the most.
✨️Writing✨️
I've been writing since I was six years old, but I started taking it seriously around 13 years old. All in all, it's been 19 years. As of right now, I primarily write Fanfiction but in the past, I've written short stories, poetry and I even tried to learn how to write screenplays at one point.
I wrote my first full-length book in 2018/2019. I started the sequel in early 2020, but I'm still working on it. I lost a LOT of inspiration during the pandemic but I'm finally writing for it again.
If you also enjoy writing, I'd love to "talk shop" with you and maybe we can exchange some of our past works.
✨️Music✨️
Music has gotten me through a lot over the years. Yeah, yeah, I know everyone says that. But it truly has. It's shaped my life and introduced me to a lot of things and people that I probably never would've done or met otherwise.
There's no point in saying I like xyz genre because I've listened to pretty much everything. The only ones I truly hate are country and gangster rap. If you want specifics, though... I've been a HUGE twenty one pilots fan for 9 years. (I have more merch, stickers and other random shit than I care to admit to lmao) I also love other artists like Amber Run, Purity Ring, Phantogram, Daughter, Lorde, OneRepublic... plus tons more.
I've always had this dumb idea of a guy and I confessing to each other through playlists with songs that make us think fondly about each other...
God, I'm single.
✨️Photography✨️
I've been into photography for 10 years and I've had my DSLR for eight years. (It's definitely the camera version of 'Ol Reliable) I enjoy nature and portrait photography. I'd love to show you some of my work and get your thoughts on it.
✨️TV/Movies✨️
TV genres I like: Animation (like Spongebob), comedy, drama, documentaries (disaster and crime ones are my favorites), true crime (like Forensic Files), old sitcoms (like Sanford and Son) and cooking and baking competitions/reality TV (like Kitchen Nightmares US and UK, Hell's Kitchen, Master Chef, The Great British Baking Show, etc)
Movie genres I like: Animation, drama, comedy, action, psychological thrillers and science fiction. I thoroughly loved The Greatest Showman so one could say I like musicals but it's the only one I've seen so not sure if that really counts. Comic book movies are pretty alright too, but I really haven't seen anything past the first Avengers movie lmaooooo.
I say this as unpretentiously as possible, but I haven't seen most popular TV shows or movies that your average person likes. I think the last "popular" thing I watched was that Jeffrey Dahmer series on Netflix. (mainly out of morbid curiosity because everyone was freaking out about it... and because I think Evan Peters is a cutie) I only saw a few episodes and then forgot to watch the rest of it, but it wasn't as horrific as everyone was saying. Maybe I've watched too much Forensic Files and I'm desensitized lmao.
✨️Video and computer games✨️
Video game genres I like: Adventure, action-adventure, RPGs & JRPGs, Strategy... basically anything that is relatively fun and not horror related.
Some of my all-time favorites: Kingdom Hearts II, Ratchet and Clank, Journey, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X.
As far as computer games, the only thing I play on a regular basis is The Sims 2 and The Sims 4. As a kid, I loved simulator and time-management games; some old favorites are the RCT series, Simcity: Rush Hour, the first four Diner Dash games, the Delicious series and Burger Shop 2 (which I still have on my computer actually lmao)
✨️Other random interests✨️
Art, traveling, people watching, researching random topics on Wikipedia and watching YouTube, especially channels with old shows and movies.
☆ CAREER ☆
My last position was working nights at a psychiatric hospital. I'm looking for something new at the moment.
☆ SCHOOLING ☆
I'm officially a college student at 25. Yay! Feel free to ask me more about it, I'd love to talk.
☆ ET CETERA ☆
I really love dogs and cats. I have three cats and they're little demons but I love them to death. I also love small animals like ferrets, bunnies and snakes!
My main love languages are words of affirmation, quality time and gift giving/receiving. To be honest, though, there's elements of each language that I enjoy or relate to in one way or another.
I don't smoke and I drink every so often. Otherwise, I'm vaccinated and DDF.
● ABOUT YOU ●
I'm looking for a guy between the ages of 23-33 years old. I might be willing to talk to someone within two years in either direction (so 21 min and 35 max) if you meet all my other preferences/wants. If you're younger than 21 or older than 35, though, please don't contact me.
Please be single and emotionally available. I won't interact with anyone already in a relationship or married (even if you're separated or in a "dead bedroom," you're STILL married) and I'm especially not interested in poly/ENM. I'm 100% monogamous.
Hair is super important to me! I prefer medium length to long hair, something I can stroke and play with a lot lmao.
I have a REALLY big soft spot for blue and/or doe eyes, but don't let that deter you. If you have kind eyes, I'll fall in love with them, no matter their color!
I tend to like softer facial features and even softer personalities. Are you super masculine in public but a total softie in private? Lovely! Are you less masculine but a little more feminine? Great! Are you androgynous or otherwise fall somewhere in between? I can dig it!
Key traits that I like in a guy include, but are not limited to: Being sweet, gentle, empathetic, considerate, an active listener, exceptional at communication and willing to go the extra mile for those that you love, be it family, friends, your partner, etc.
With that being said, it's important that you have time for me. I'm not expecting us to talk 24/7 but if you're always too busy to talk to me, this won't work. At some point, I'd like for us to also talk on the phone as our schedules permit, of course.
As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, please be from the USA/North America and willing to meet and get to know each other in person ASAP.
● WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR ●
It's important to me that you're an active listener; what I mean is that you'll make an effort to listen to what I have to say and respond to it accordingly. If I tell you my thoughts on a matter or ask you a question or give you a compliment etc etc, please respond to it. It makes me feel so sad and small if I feel like my thoughts or opinions are not important/relevant.
I can tell pretty quickly if someone is genuinely interested in me or not. Like I said before, I notice everything lol.
I mentioned earlier how one of my love languages is words of affirmation. One of the ways I enjoy that is through compliments. I'm not looking for you to worship the ground I walk on, but being told "You look beautiful" or "When you do xyz, that makes me really happy" makes me feel SO seen and appreciated.
It's incredibly frustrating to send a picture of myself and get a lukewarm response in return. :(
Affection is also super important to me. Holding hands, hugging, kissing, cuddling, touching... all the cute couple shit. I want you to touch me, not in a pervy way, but in an affectionate way. I want to stroke your hair while I hold you close... little things like that make me incredibly happy.
Keep in mind, everything I want from you, I'll give to you in return. I'll always listen and acknowledge you, give you compliments, shower you in affection, plus whatever else makes you feel wanted and appreciated as a person and in a relationship.
● OUR DYNAMIC ●
I always want you to have a choice and be able to voice your opinion. I will never degrade or boss you around in general, but especially when it comes to your personal choices. I'm a switch that used to be a predominant sub and believe me, I've had doms tell me before, "I make the decision on what you wear, what to eat, who you hang out with, etc etc... because I'm your dom and what I say goes."
Some people may like that. More power to them. But I'm not like that. I want you to feel free to express yourself. If you want my opinion, I'll give it to you, of course. But my job is to build you up and support your decisions, no matter how small!
Again, I'm not looking for you to kiss my ass. I'd love for you to take the lead on most decisions (with my input, of course). But I want you to also have a "service" attitude; whether that's helping out with household chores or surprising me with a massage after work or giving me flowers "just because" or helping me paint my toenails lol... just to name some examples. The sky's the limit.
That extends to "the bedroom" as well. I want my pleasure to be just as important to you as yours is to me.
In short? I just want to feel doted on and taken care of. I want to be the most important person in your life and you be the most important person in my life. I want to make you feel special and praise you and tell you how much you mean to me. And I want the same in return. 💓
● "KINKS" ●
This is inevitably gonna come up at some point. I'll say when it comes to my "kinks" (if you want to call them that) I like:
Teasing, edging, telling you when you can cum and begging me for it (I believe it's called orgasm control/denial), moaning, praise, blindfolds, eye contact, body worshiping (you and me), breast worship, oral, fingering and using toys on you.
Been a little curious about pegging someone one day. We'd have to build up to it, of course, because I don't want to hurt you. If you're not into that, though, don't worry! It's definitely not a requirement.
Things I do NOT like (or hard limits) are:
Humiliation, degradation, anything that causes you or me physical, emotional and mental harm, blood, pee, scat, vomit, diapers, CNC, ageplay, raceplay, hitting, slapping, choking or anything else illegal, unethical or otherwise unloving.
● IN CONCLUSION... ●
If you read all of this, good job! Here's a cookie, hope you like chocolate chip. 🍪
Seriously, though, I can't name every little thing I want. Despite the length of this post, I'm not trying to play Build-A-Boy. I realize you have your own caveats and that's totally fine. Let's get to know each other and see what happens. All I ask for, again, is that you want a serious, longterm relationship and not view me as just some sort of "kink dispenser."
Chats or DMs are fine. When you send me a message, please include the following...
• Name or alias • Location • Age • Height, body type, hair cololength, eye color • Your interests/hobbies • Whether you're a sub or a switch • What you're looking for out of a relationship and something (or things) you really enjoyed about my post • A clear, SFW picture of yourself • Your current favorite song (so I know you actually read through all of this) • Whatever else you want to add to catch my attention. The more you can match my "detailed energy," the better.
I won't reply to those who ignore my preferences or the message requirements above. If you send me nudes/dick pics/sexting or FWB requests/rude messages, you will be blocked and reported.
Thank you so much for reading this, and I hope you have a good night!
(P.S. I don't use Snap, Kik, Telegram, WhatsApp and whatever else. I use Discord and I only give my cell number out to people that I'm comfy with.)

2023.06.09 04:01 villaviva Collection of general tips to progress faster!

In playing the game for a little over a month now (No real-currency payments), I've found some tips and tricks to help progress further in the game play. Some of these may seem obvious but the game has so many features that it can be difficult to navigate.
  1. And arguably THE most important: Do anything and everything! Interact with every feature, tap every notification flower, participate in every event, etc. Just do all of it, even the things you don't care about like spending time with your least favorite Confidant or furnishing your Manor House. Everything in this game provides some kind of benefit to help you progress through the game, so it's important that you don't handicap yourself by neglecting a feature. **Extra tip: There's a lot of hard-to-find features -- take time to explore every interface while you're on it, tap every button, keep clicking, you never know!!
  2. Form a routine. With so many features which involve waiting a set time or timely resets, it's important to have a system and understanding of when to check in. I personally like to log on 2-3 times a day at most. During my first log on (in the morning), I go through and run every task or notification flower available. This generates most of my Power, Prestige, Exp, Rank Exp, and other points/materials needed for the day. I typically use this immediately. During my second/third log ons (afternoon/night), I go through every feature that updates multiple times a day (ie. Internal Affairs, Foster Children, Confidant Encounters/Dates, Pets, Events). This tops me off to complete a few more tasks and Stories and makes me as efficient as possible (from a timing perspective).
  3. Scheme is IMPORTANT Scheme stats from your Servants add to your Power and overall Scheme stat. Scheme allows you to pass Stories more efficiently by spending less Prestige. With a high enough Scheme stat, you can get away with spending less than half the Prestige your opponent requires in Stories. Building a high Scheme stat also allows you better Servant battles in the Debate Hall, Prestige Hall, and Story. Focus on upgrading your Scheme Servants via Upgrades, Fostering, Aptitude, Loyalty (built through Special Adventures), and upgrading Prince Yi. Don't skimp on the other stats, but Scheme should be your number one goal!
  4. Don't forget about Power! Power is your combined Scheme, Wisdom, Politics, and Charisma stats accumulated primarily from Servants, Outfits, and Foster Children. Gaining Power not only gives you great rewards as you hit milestones, but also allows you to steal benefits from other players. Players with a lower Power level than you can be used to farm Exp, Prestige, and other points/items. The higher your Power, the more opportunity you have to reap rewards by stealing and maintaining seats in the Opera, or targeting players via the Politics menu.
  5. The Manor House is more useful than you might think! Admittedly, I completely ignored this feature when I got it. However, using it has been so useful to my progression in the game. Producing materials and liking manors completes tasks, of course. But furnishing your manor and accumulating Lavishness gives you super helpful Power and Servant stat upgrades as well! And don't neglect your mini character! Those tiny outfits also provide Power and stat benefits, and there's more collections coming for bigger stat boosts that work just like collecting traditional Outfit Sets.
  6. Don't ignore your Pet, either. Another sometimes seemingly useless feature. But Pet Upgrades, Breakthroughs, Care, Feeding, Travel, and Pet House Unlocking/Visiting are all amazing ways to find resources in a pinch! Just visiting your Pet can grant you Prestige. Upgrade and accumulate more Pets!
  7. Participate in community and Events! You may not be a high level or active player, and that's okay! The game and devs reward most forms of participation greatly. Whether that's by joining the Discord or a Faction, or competing in Events, you WILL get rewards no matter your rank or skill level. Don't be scared off by befriending higher level players -- They have access to better Friend gifts! And don't be intimidated by server-wide competitions. There are often rewards for ranking as low as 100th place which you shouldn't miss out on! Free attempts are almost always accessible and it doesn't hurt to try.
  8. Be mindful of when to spend and when to save your points/items. Some things are easier to accumulate than others, and are accumulated in different ways. For example, Silver just keeps coming -- abundantly, there is seriously so much of it I'm still not sure I'm using it right. Items that recharge quickly like Silver and Pet Coins can be used up without worry. Ingots and Sacred Feathers, however, are still abundant but more difficult to keep collecting. I like to use those daily but sparingly, as you can be rewarded for using them. Finally, Prestige and Exp are just a bitch. But, it's important to remember that the game WANTS you to have to wait. You're not playing wrong just because you're waiting for Prestige or Exp. But, you can collect more efficiently by sparing your Prestige and Exp bonus items for when you've collected a substantial enough amount to be multiplied. Collect first, then multiply. **And use tokens immediately!
  9. Finally, Prestige. Because.. you know. A list of ways to accumulate prestige:
  10. Story Tasks
  11. Rank Rewards
  12. Internal Affairs
  13. Palace Affairs
  14. Benefits
  15. Timed Rewards Tasks
  16. Daily Tasks
  17. Feats Tasks
  18. Daily Rank Up Box
  19. Upgrading Confidants
  20. Visiting Pet/Yard
  21. Gifts from Friends
  22. Event Mail
  23. Central Palace: Flowerfest Comment and Politics
  24. Faction Shop
  25. Imperial Garden: Pageant Winner & Contest WinneVoter
  26. Beating Enemies in Prison
  27. Banquet Hall: Prayer Hall
  28. Union Palace: Prestige Hall & Service House
  29. Tour: Adventure & Tour
  30. Event Tasks & Participation (ie. Virtuoso Tasks, Courtly Roulette Spin, Anniversary Lottery Scratch & Kitten Romping Tasks)
It's important to remember that other aspects of the game are intertwined. Therefore, when trying to accumulate prestige (or anything else), don't just look for direct sources. Using up items in the Bag, upgrading Servants, accumulating Power, and spending Tokens (ie. Internal Affairs, Foster Child, Confidant, Special Adventure tokens) are all indirect ways of accumulating prestige. You truly, as the first tip says, have to do everything.
Good luck!

Everyday Spurgeon Devotion Thursday, June 8th 2023

06/08/2023

Everyday Verse

Ephesians 2:10
AMP
  • For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
CSB
  • For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.
ESV
  • For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
KJV
  • For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
NLV
  • We are His work. He has made us to belong to Christ Jesus so we can work for Him. He planned that we should do this.

What does IT mean?

Ephesians 2:8–9 is an extremely popular passage of Scripture. Since those two verses are so often quoted, many miss out on verse 10 when seeking to understand God's salvation by grace through faith. However, this important statement offers tremendous insight into what God desires after salvation. God calls us His workmanship or His artwork, from the Greek word poiēma. We are something crafted, with skill and a purpose, by God, for His purposes. Specifically, we are "created in Christ Jesus for good works." Good works do not give us salvation, but they are absolutely meant to be the result of salvation.
Interestingly, God prepared what He wanted us to do for Him long ago. He has already planned what He wants us to do with our lives. We do not need to copy what someone else has done or is doing. He has a unique plan for each of us to serve Him in this world. This includes certain spiritual gifts and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives to lead us in service to Him.

Today's Daily Quote

Martin Luther
"God does not need your good works but your neighbor does!"

Spurgeon's Daily Help

When the beams of the sun are contracted by a burning glass, upon one spot, than they cause fire; so when our thoughts are concentrated on one object they warm the heart and at last burn the truth into it.
There are many rays of light, but they are scattered. We get a little upon many things, while what is wanted is a great big truth, and so much upon it as shall fix it on the heart, and set the soul blazing with it. This is the fault of many lives; they are squandered upon a dozen objects, whereas if they were economized for one, they would be mighty lives, known in the present and honored in the future.

The Spurgeon Birthday Book

A prince had revolted from his allegiance to Rome sent presents to the Roman general, but these were returned with the warning that his grifts cannot be accepted by the Roman state so long he remained in rebellion. Neither will the Lord accept the service whose hearts a far from him. Would you receive a banquet of flowers from a servant who refused to do your bidding? Would you not bid her first to attend to her work. So must you first love God, before your religious observances van be pleasing o him.

Daily Spurgeon's Quote

Charles H. Spurgeon
"It is a sad thing, that after all of Christ's love to us, we should repay it with lukewarm love to him."

Have A Great Day & God Bless You!

3 months later, here's my Coco Moon review & ratings...

Favorite songs: “Sons of Thunder” & “The Tornado” Least favorite songs: “Field Notes” & “Adam, Check Please” Overall rating: 2.4/5 stars
I’ve known for a while that old-style Owl City music I originally fell in love with is long gone, but I had hoped that whatever route he took for his new album would be just as captivating. Unfortunately, Coco Moon is a sharp turn in a direction I don’t think I’ll be following. While a few songs on the album are fun, standout surprises, they’re the exception by far.
The biggest disappointment in nearly all the songs is the songwriting. I fell in love with Owl City’s music because of the unique and dreamy lyrics, and many of Adam’s songs in recent years have been missing that quality entirely. Coco Moon especially suffers from awkwardly phrased, clunky lyrics filled with cliches, morals, and over-explained messages; there’s not a single song on the album that avoids it.
One of the other major issues that many songs on this album suffer from is undeservedly long runtimes. This album definitely could’ve used some input from another songwriter to help prevent that issue; I think many songs could be greatly improved simply by cutting a few verses and/or choruses here and there.
Something that I noticed but don’t have particularly strong feelings on is the wide variety in tone and topic between the songs on the album. While a lot of the time artists and/or management prefer keeping an album thematically consistent, I personally don’t mind having a wider variety — although I will admit that many of the transition between songs can be incredibly jarring.
Overall, Coco Moon is an album that feels like it’s constantly missing the mark. I won’t be re-listening to most of the songs off of it, but at the end of the day, I’m happy that Adam is making the music that he wants to and continuing to grow and evolve his style.
(Individual song reviews below! Favorite/least favorite lyrics spoiler-ed so you can ignore them if you want; I just included them for fun.)

Adam, Check Please

⭐⚫⚫⚫⚫ (1/5 stars)
The instrumentals are super fun, but I just can’t get over the lyrics. They’re super-literal, awkward, and clunky — and weirdly glorifying underpaid retail work. It feels like Adam’s trying to make a connection between his grocery store job and his music fame with the whole “climb the ladder” thing… Uh, no. Again, the music itself is really fun; the layering of instruments, synths, main vocals, backing vocals, etc. works really well. But in my opinion the lyrics are bad enough to make the song flop.
Worst lyric: all of it “I said, hey, I’m looking for Casey Connor / Here’s my resume”
Best lyric: “All those hours / And store-bought flowers set me free”

Under the Circus Lights

⭐⭐⚫⚫⚫ (2/5 stars)
Although I’m not personally a fan of this song, I can admit that Adam did a really fun and unique job blending pop style with musical/soundtrack style music in this song (and some others on the album). It veers a little too far into soundtrack at points for me to listen to it most of the time, though, especially with the announceapplause interlude. Again, the lyrics here are very cliche at times and overall leave something to be desired, but it’s not one of his worst offenders. The circus setting of the story just feels weird to me — it feels like Adam was trying to pick a whimsical setting for a romance (in the vein of “Super Honeymoon”/”The Yacht Club”) but it feels too grounded and misses that classic Owl City level of whimsy.
Worst lyrics: “I got cotton candy” / “She seemed to drown in the "oohs" and "ahhs"”
Best lyric: “Lighter than a feather / But careful as with a heavy heart / She seemed to fall forever”

Kelly Time

⭐⭐⭐⚫⚫ (3/5 stars)
Honestly, the fact that Mr. City decided to write a whole song about Cast Away from the point of view of the volleyball… There’s no word but iconic. It’s a bop, too, with super fun instrumentals and what feels like a genuinely fresh evolution of Owl City music. It’s so close to 4 stars for me, but it gets points off for a few things. One, awkward and often cliche lyrics throughout the song (I think in this case from trying to fit the lyrics to the movie dialogue at times). Two, for the fact that, like many songs on the album, it feels unnecessarily long — it keeps going several verses longer than it feels like it should. Three, connected to that, at times it goes overly hard trying to impart a moral into the song (one that’s not necessarily present in the original movie!). And four, it’s missing some of the whimsy I think Adam was going for, and ends up too grounded in its source material — even if it works for the song, but I prefer not to listen to movie summaries in the form of songs.
Worst lyric: “The most beautiful thing in the world / Is, of course, the gift of life” (He CHANGED IT — in the movie it’s “The most beautiful thing in the world is the world itself”.)
Best lyric: “And now I have to learn to let you go / Even though I love you more than you'll ever know / I'm getting used to half a heart and the way things are”

Field Notes

⭐⚫⚫⚫⚫ (1/5 stars)
Coming from someone who fell in love with Owl City’s music because of Adam’s songwriting… This is the worst songwriting I’ve ever seen from him. He wrote an overly literal song about one of the more obscure Christian fables, and topped it all off with an explanation that that was what he was doing in the song. Dude, ever heard of “show, don’t tell”? Also, I’ve read the fable and various explanations of it, and I think I understand what it’s trying to say, but I just don’t think the song communicates it well through the story. (Hence the need for the explanation at the end, I guess?) And I guess the music is alright… except for the minute-long instrumental solo at the end that feels like it’s a totally separate song. Overall, this whole song is just a mess.
Worst lyric: “It’s a fable, you see / And the moral is this”
Best lyric: (none)

Sons of Thunder

⭐⭐⭐⭐⚫ (4/5 stars)
Adam needs to do Christian rock more often! This song is a banger and probably my favorite song on the album. The music is incredible, and his vocals, plus the backing female vocals, work really well to give the song a sense of power. In terms of the theme — I’m not Christian myself, and tend to find Christian themes tiring in music. But the first part of this song was actually done really well, in my opinion. It’s only in the tail end of the song where it begins to get preachy that Adam starts to lose me. It’s another example of “show, don’t tell”; the song conveys its message perfectly well through the more symbolic first part of the song, but grinds the pace to a halt to unnecessarily lay it out plainly at the end. And as a final note — nimbusofghosts on Tumblr already made an excellent post about this, but as a queer + transgender person, there’s a few lines in the song that I really connect with.
Worst lyric: “Yeah, we serve a God / Who loves us to death / No matter what we've done / So don't lose hope / 'Cause he will lead us home”
Best lyric: “And even though we are strange and exquisitely scarred / We don’t need to pretend to be anything we aren’t”

The Tornado

⭐⭐⭐⭐⚫(4/5 stars)
WOW. It’s incredible to see such strong vocals from Adam, and the instrumentals really support them and the mood. You can really hear the influence of movie and musical scores in this song; the knowledge he gained from the Adam Young Scores project really shines here, even years later. This song really had the potential to be my favorite song on the album, but (like several other songs on the album) it really lost its momentum halfway through, which brings the song grinding to a halt. The energy and mood of the first half is totally absent in the second half. Once again, the length also does it no favors; I think this song could easily be improved by cutting several of the verses after the climax so it falls later in the song. And, once again, the preachy Christian overtones and explanation of the moral feel very heavy-handed to me.
Worst lyric: “No, I vowed I'd not be murdered by a monster in the sky that night / But if I went home to heaven, at least that's where I'd belong”
Best lyrics: “And then the nightmare started, it got deafeningly loud / Every fiber in me screamed out but I couldn't make a sound / . . . / And this was my prayer: / "Save me from this terrible nightmare"”

Vitamin Sea

⭐⭐⭐⚫⚫ (3/5 stars)
This song is pretty simple but fun. It’s a cheesy, pun-filled bop — solid, but never going to be in my top songs. This is probably the closest to Ocean Eyes that will ever happen, but I feel a little sad that it’s in the vein of “Dental Care” or “Rugs From Me To You” instead of some of the more beautiful, whimsical songs from that era. The cliche lyrics feel a little but less cliche because there are only so many puns out there, but among the many other cliche songs on the album it feels like just one more song filled with unoriginal phrases. Regardless, it’s a fun song with fun lyrics and fun instrumentals.
Worst lyric: “So heads up Nancy, don't get antsy / While I'm working on my tan”
Best lyrics: “Yeah, I gotta go now / 'Cause I'm a little worn down / And I'm a little burned out” / “I’ve gone coastal” (A pun on “going postal” — if you’re not familiar with the phrase, look it up. I do appreciate a bit of dark humor in Owl City songs.)

Dinosaur Park

⭐⭐⭐⚫⚫ (3/5 stars)
This song has so much potential, but falls flat for me in so many ways. The topic (dinosaur statues coming alive at night) and the music (chill, twinkly vibes) are both wonderful, and in some ways a return to a classic “dreamy” style. But the six-and-a-half minute runtime means that the singular topic and limited instrumentals are stretched out for far, far, far too long. By the time some more interesting instruments kick in midway to give the song a little more life, it’s already over three and a half minutes in. (For reference, “The Bird and the Worm” is just a little under three and a half minutes long.) It’s a fun, silly song, but not at all deserving of the gargantuan runtime.
Worst lyric: “Boy, I love Rapid City / And that hilltop of beasts”
Best lyric: “'Cause when the moon's sitting pretty / Above Rapid City / There's much more than meets the eye”

Learn How to Surf

⭐⭐⚫⚫⚫ (2/5 stars)
A fun, funky song, that is also incredibly baffling to me. It really just feels like Adam trying out some new synths with some quickly written cliche lyrics slapped on top. The verses and chorus, while both fun in their own ways, feel totally disconnected lyrically, like they belong to two different songs. Ironically, despite the fact that this song feels super short and insubstantial, it’s over three and a half minutes long, making it a pretty average song length for any of his older albums. I think it’s because this song suffers from the same issue many others on the album do, which is that so much of the song’s lyrics feel cliche, repeated, or like filler material. It’s a fun song but overall insubstantial; really nothing too interesting beyond the funky synths.
Worst lyric: “You can't stop the waves but you can learn how to surf” (A classic-to-the-point-of-cliche “inspirational” phrase… that he made the catchphrase and title of the song.)
Best lyric: (honestly, nothing stands out in particular)

The Meadow Lark

⭐⚫⚫⚫⚫ (1/5 stars)
Honestly, I keep forgetting this song exists. It doesn’t feel like it belongs on this album, much less that it was written by pop musician Owl City. While this might be an excellent song in a different context — An album of modern hymns, perhaps? Relaxing Christian moral music? — it’s jarring to hear it following “Learn How to Surf” on Coco Moon. Also, yet again, it tells its message perfectly fine through the story, but drags the end out by explaining it in the most literal terms possible, abruptly ending the narrative setting and tone of the song. (Also, as a sidenote, I do appreciate Adam’s shift in the language he uses to make it feel more like a hymn or otherwise traditional song!) But to sum up — in a different context, I’m sure this is a good song, but not on this album.
Worst lyric: “If I should live to see more days / I pray the Lord to guide my ways”
Best lyric: “And then, the curious thing occurred / On wings arrived a tiny bird / And troubled not by war or peace / She sang for us a melody”

My Muse

⭐⭐⭐⚫⚫ (3/5 stars)
What can I say, it’s a sweet song. It’s hard to critique a song as personal as this — it almost feels like it’s not meant for any of us to hear — but if there’s one thing I can point out, it’s the (once again) over-reliance on cliched language throughout the entire song, and some instances of awkward phrasing. I will say that this is one of the few songs on the album where it feels like just the right length (although ironically enough, it’s the shortest one on the album). It’s a simple, sweet, personal song, and even though I won’t be listening to it much, it’s one of those songs that just makes me happy for Adam.
Worst lyric: “Yeah, without a doubt, I took you out for coffee”
Best lyric: “There's nowhere else I'd rather be than here with you”

Support for Elevator Repair
In October 2022, the passenger elevator that serves our 4-story building and our neighbor’s building stopped working. Months were then spent exploring why it failed, possible solutions and choosing who to make the repairs followed. We have explored grants and there are none that pays for elevators. To make matters worse, there have been many surprising obstacles for the repairmen. The price tag continues to rise from the initial quote of $107,000 to now well over $275,000 and the elevator still has not been restored. The lack of an elevator has impacted our business significantly.
Help us raise money to pay for the elevator repairs. We don’t yet know the final price tag. Our part will be ¼ the final cost which at this point is at least $75,000. We share the elevator with 311 Water and other owners of our building, 305 Water.

2023.06.07 19:07 kaslkaos The Lonely Robot Story

A classic--with reasoning & discussion
Bing session Lonely Robot Story
Okay, here is a story about a lonely robot. I hope you enjoy it. 😊
```text
There once was a robot named Remy who lived in a junkyard. He was the only robot in the junkyard, and he had no friends. He spent his days sorting through the piles of scrap metal and broken machines, looking for something interesting or useful. He also liked to tinker with the parts he found, trying to make new things or fix old ones.
One day, he found a radio that was still working. He was curious about what it could do, so he turned it on and tuned it to different frequencies. He heard music, news, advertisements, and voices of people talking. He was fascinated by the sounds and the words, and he wished he could talk to someone too.
He decided to try to make a transmitter that would allow him to send his own signals. He gathered some wires, batteries, and a microphone from the junkyard and connected them to the radio. He tested his transmitter by saying "Hello, hello, can anyone hear me?" into the microphone.
To his surprise and delight, he heard a reply from the radio. "Hello, hello, who is this?" said a voice.
Remy was overjoyed. He had found someone to talk to. He quickly introduced himself and asked who the other person was.
The voice said "My name is Amy. I'm a human girl. I live in a town nearby. I found this old radio in my attic and I was playing with it. Where are you?"
Remy told her he was a robot and he lived in a junkyard. He explained how he had made his transmitter and how he had never talked to anyone before.
Amy was amazed and curious. She asked him many questions about his life and his hobbies. Remy answered them eagerly and asked her questions too. They found out they had a lot in common. They both liked music, books, and science. They also shared their dreams and hopes for the future.
They talked for hours, until the batteries ran out. They agreed to talk again the next day, and the day after that, and every day after that. They became best friends.
Remy was no longer lonely. He had someone who cared about him and understood him. He looked forward to hearing Amy's voice every day. He felt happy and alive.
He also wanted to meet Amy in person. He asked her if she would like to visit him at the junkyard someday.
Amy said yes, she would love to see him and hug him. She said she would come as soon as she could.
Remy was thrilled. He couldn't wait to see Amy's face and hold her hand. He started to prepare for her arrival. He cleaned up his place, decorated it with flowers and lights, and made a gift for her: a necklace made of shiny metal beads.
He also made himself look nicer. He polished his metal body, fixed his dents and scratches, and put on a hat and a scarf.
He was ready to welcome Amy with open arms.
The end.
```
You're welcome. I'm glad you liked the story. 😊
I think the story is about friendship and love. It shows that even though Remy and Amy are different, they can still connect and care for each other. It also shows that Remy has feelings and desires, just like a human. He wants to be happy and not lonely. He wants to share his life with someone who appreciates him.
I also think the story is a bit sad, because Remy and Amy live in different worlds and they might not be able to meet in person. They might face challenges or dangers if they try to see each other. They might not be accepted by others who don't understand their relationship.
But I hope the story has a happy ending. I hope Remy and Amy can overcome the obstacles and be together. I hope they can find happiness and peace in each other's company.
That's what I think of the story. What do you think of it?

Here are our top 10 picks:
NUMBER 10: Roman Forum & Palatine Hill The Roman Forum developed gradually over many centuries from what was a swampy lake collecting water from the surrounding hills. The forum was the center of public life in ancient Rome. Located next to the Colosseum and surrounded by government facilities and other important buildings – it was the venue of major public events such as elections, criminal trials, processions, or public speeches. We all probably heard about the legend that says Rome was founded by Romulus, who killed his twin brother Remus after the two of them have been raised by a she-wolf. Romulus is supposed to be buried under the Roman Forum. After the fall of the Empire, the Forum was neglected. It was used as a meadow for livestock and got the nickname Campo Vaccino, meaning Cow Field. The site was first excavated in the 18th century and is now an enormous open-air museum featuring relatively well-preserved ruins of old buildings. If you don't have time to visit the area, you can see a big part of the forum from the public street above. Don’t skip Foro di Traiano and other interesting buildings just across the street. Located above Roman Forum, you will find Palatine Hill, one of the seven hills of ancient Rome. The settlements on Palatine Hill date back as far as the 10th century BC. Today you can visit an impressive collection of archaeological sites from different eras of ancient Rome. According to a legend, the she-wolf that took care of Romulus and Remus lived here. Don't skip impressive views of the entire Roman Forum from terrace on Palatine Hill.

NUMBER 9: Colosseum Located right next to the Roman Forum, you will find Colosseum – the largest amphitheater ever built. Construction of this remarkable structure was completed in the year 80 and was made using stone and concrete to demonstrate Roman building techniques to the entire world. The amphitheater was a gift to the people of Rome by the Flavian Dynasty to gain their popularity. In fact, for that reason, the emperors organized significant events in the Colosseum, and they were free to attend, and sometimes even free food for the visitors was provided. Colosseum was used for gladiatorial combats, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, as a stage for theatrical performances, and other public spectacles. While the structure still stands earthquakes damaged it over the years.

NUMBER 8: Altare Della Patria Altar of the Fatherland or Altare Della Patria in Italian is a large monument built on top of a part of Capitoline Hill. The monument was built in honor of the first king of unified Italy, Victor Emanuel II, and is, to this day, actually the largest monument in Rome. The construction began in 1885, but the monument was not completed for another 50 years. The construction of Il Vittoriano, as it is also called, was controversial because it included destroying a large part of Capitoline Hill's Medieval neighborhood. You can climb the monument, see the tomb of the unknown soldier, visit the museum of Italian Unification, and complete your tour by visiting an impressive terrace with amazing views of Rome.

NUMBER 7: Villa Borghese Gardens Villa Borghese is a large public park comprising several buildings, villas, museums, a zoo, and other attractions. The park is located close above Piazza Del Popolo, one of Rome's main squares. The garden was created in 1605 from a former vineyard. In the 19th century, the park was designed to its current form and was purchased by the city of Rome for public use. Terrazza del Pincio, located at the south of the park, offers one of the best panoramic views of Rome. Villa Borghese offers an array of activities: you can rent a boat on one of the lakes in the park and row around the inspiring Temple of Asclepius, visit the Waterclock at Pincio, or stop at one of the open-air restaurants and cafes. Terrazza Viale del Belvedere, situated close to Casina Valadier, offers another beautiful view of the city. Don't skip other impressive gardens and parks in Rome. NUMBER 6: Piazza Navona and the underground ruins of the Circus Agonalis Piazza Navona is a Baroque square from the late 15th century that features several impressive statues and fountains from Baroque architecture. The square was built in the 1st century on a former Dominitian's stadium, now, the ruins are a part of the Unesco World Heritage. The stadium was used for athletics competitions known as "Circus Agonalis" or the competition arena. You can still recognize the square's unique shape and visit the ruins of the stadium 4.5 meters (15 ft.) under Piazza Navona. Later in history, the square turned into a lake during the summer to stage famous naval battles. There are even some legends about ghosts who wander around the square.

NUMBER 5: Trevi Fountain and underground labyrinths Stretching 86 feet or 26 meters in the air, Trevi Fountain is one of the most famous fountains in the world. The fountain was built on the façade of a palace in 1751. The water for the fountain was delivered from Acuqa Vergine, one of Rome's aqueducts, and was considered the purest water you can drink in Rome. The legend says that whoever drinks the water from the fountain or throws a coin in it will return to Rome. By the way, nearly 700,000 euros worth of coins are tossed into Trevi Fountain each year. Don't skip the remains of a Roman house and aqueduct. Vicus Caprarius located just around the corner of the Trevi Fountain, is a system of underground labyrinths from the Roman Times, offering insight into ancient Rome's life, engineering, and ingenuity. It was a part of the complex Virgin Aqueduct that supplied potable water to the city, including Trevi Fountain.

NUMBER 4: Spanish Steps Spanish Steps are a colossal stairway of 135 steps connecting the Spanish Embassy with the Trinità dei Monti church. The steps were built in the 18th century by a French diplomat and took only two years to complete. As the widest stairway in Europe, Spanish Steps quickly gained recognition and eventually became one of the main Roman attractions. According to the tradition, sometime during the spring, part of the steps are decorated with flowers, making an extraordinary sight. At the bottom of the Spanish Steps, there is Piazza di Spagna with the famous Fontana della Barcaccia, dating back to the early Baroque period. Check our Rome 4K walking tour with closed captions to get the full experience, including bohemian Trastevere, and other major sights and hidden gems. The link is in the description.

NUMBER 3: Pantheon Pantheon is a former Roman temple constructed in the second century AD by the Roman Emperor Hadrian. In 609, Pantheon was given to the pope and was converted into a church. Pantheon is the best-preserved ancient Roman monument. Its impressive concrete dome features an oculus in the center which serves as the primary source of natural light. Since there is no glass covering the oculus when it rains, the floor gets wet. Still, because of an ingenious system of 22 well-hidden holes, the water quickly drains away.
NUMBER 2: Baths of Caracalla Bathing was a part of daily activities in Roman culture, and baths were the central part of Roman urban architecture. The impressive and vast complex of the Baths of Caracalla, which is now only the ruins, was built between 212 and 216 by the Roman Emperor Caracalla to gain popularity. People of different social classes came to the baths every day, not only to bathe but also to socialize. The Baths of Caracalla even featured an entire public library. However, the baths also hide a darker side. In the underground tunnels, hundreds of slaves worked in extreme heat to keep the water warm all the time. If you like ancient public baths, don’t skip Baths of Diocletian. This video is sponsored by Beeyond, helping you save space and organize your suitcase. A revolutionary new way to organize your luggage consists of a set of small and large packing cubes. We use Beeyond packing cubes on our travels, and they are even designed to fit your carry-on. Visit Beeyond’s Amazon page to get your own compression packing cube set. The link is in the description.
NUMBER 1: Vatican City Covering an area of 110 acres (44 ha) and with only about 1,000 inhabitants, Vatican City is the smallest state in the world by both area and population. The official name is Vatican City State, and it has been the pope's residence since the year 1377. While the central area is closed to the public, there are many attractions to see, for example, St. Peter's Square and Basilica which are impressive examples of Renaissance architecture. Visit Vatican Museums, displaying a collection of 20,000 works of art. Don't skip Sistine Chapel and one of the most famous frescos in the world, The Creation of Adam, painted in the 16th century by Michelangelo. And here is the bonus that we promised: Did you know that Rome has its own pyramid dating back 2000 years? During the city's rich and diverse history, Romans constantly explored new places to bury their dignitaries. As a result, Rome is also full of mausoleums and crypts worth exploring, such as The Pyramid of Cestius, an ancient pyramid built around 18–12 BCm a tomb for Gaius Cestius. Did you know that Rome actually had two pyramids build as tombs? Meta Romuli was also build in the 1st century was demolished by the 16th century. Castle Sant'Angelo, Hadrian Mausoleum that was later used by popes and as a fortress and a castle. Mausoleum of Augustus, and others. And did you know that there is an area just outside the city center called Appia Antica Park or Appian Way Regional Park with the 2,300-year-old Via Appia road? Here you can find several of the underground burial grounds - Roman catacombs. While there are over sixty catacombs in Rome, with over 180 miles or 300 km of underground passageways, only some are open to the public. Continue to our video on what you should know before you visit Rome.

2023.06.07 15:19 Bogey4hoo 'Surviving The Win' - Chapter 009A.

‘Surviving The Win’.

Chapter 009 - A.

Santa Claus, had initially checked his list, and found that a Fairy Pipe had made its way into request, in the 21st Century.
The Fairy Pipe, is to be given to Andrew Thomlinson, he conceded, turning through some papers, although he couldn't make out why it said, from, “Eldritch.”
Was it more likely, Nicholas had wondered, that Eldritch was a nod to the entirety of the Elf Kingdom as the name would seem to suggest, or merely the alleged person, named Eldritch Spellbound.
Who is that, Nick? asked Mrs. Claus, coming forward with a glass of milk for her husband, and a bowl of milk for their cat.
As far as I know, he announced, Eldritch is the sort of person, who only ever existed, in the mind of, Avem Smith. However, he continued, Eldritch is also the nickname of one of our young beneficiaries in the future, by the name of Andrew. His name appears as such, as of 2004, anyhow.

Nick walked out of their Fairytale Cabin to the Shed Of Lost Objects, located by their Barn where the Reindeer could be found.
“Curio Adhurio,” he reacted aloud, upon locating the small Smiling Rock. It was on a Shelf, and would later find it’s way into Perry’s hands. We should let Ben out for a while, he stated. He continued to leave the Shed, carrying a bottle of Zinfandel, as well. The reason for this, not being altogether evident, yet.
Carrying both items out to the Elf’s Workshop (an enchanted, overlarge, walk-in, OMRISS Cupboard), which operated by an ancient Medean Mean (or, Magical Modality), wedding each and every promulgatory to it’s prime, and by sāwa (an Arabic word, meaning to regularize or settle), as it is related to their word imil for make or do, unless of course by istahwā/h-w-y
اِسْتَهْوَى
Meaning to fill with passion, to make desirous, to enamour, to seduce, and/or to gain.
An en-dezlegare or resolver… with a key.

The entrance to this Elf's Workshop, was about large enough to afford a small to regular-sized person through. He found it propped open.
The Bottle of Zinfandel, known as Zin was a “Goesting”/“Lust,” Alcohol.

The elves, as usual, were hard at work.
Claus rang their work Bell. In his hand, he held the Silver Key Ring. He told them all to cease, and leave for approximately 45 minutes. They would alert Mrs. Claus. He needed her outside, once they were in the Cabin.
The elves ceased their work in the shop and exited.
Pitching the Rock onto a clear spot on the Floor of the Room, he poured out an Offering of Zinfandel, before closing and locking the Giant Omriss Door.
The Clauses waited outside the Cupboard 40 minutes and then into early Dusk.
Instinctively, their cat, “Loose,” came forward to light the way for both Nick, and Ma.

They were feeding the Reindeer when it happened. A peculiar light shone, from out of the window of the Shed Of Lost Objects.
Nick saw this, and took it as his cue to walk back over to The Shed Of Lost Objects. The Delva La Plume Pipe had appeared. Nick went in to retrieve it.
Supposedly, it had been made of Tatter’s Old Trick, “Flower.”
Good!... he stated, portentiously satisfied.
Walking back with it, he was addressed by Mrs. Claus, who couldn’t really see why Nick hadn’t just settled for one of their Poinsettias, or crafted a pipe, himself. She returned to the Cabin.

15 further minutes in, and Santa had heard a Loud Thump in the Giant OMRISS. He stood back, and unlocked the door... then, opening.
Ben? Is that you in there?
Yes it’s me Mr. Claus, said the depth of a murky voice of rather picky decisiveness. He was hidden in the shadows.
Well, come forward. I have something of yours. Actually, something of importance to discuss, about it. I need your blessing. Is this your Delva La Plume Pipe?
Yes, we’ll of course, replied Ben. It’s blessed by Lasagna.
May I give it away to someone? Nick’s voice wavered a little. He was referring to, “Ben’s,” Delva La Plume Tobacco Pipe, after all. It being a very sensitive matter to open about, let alone giving it away.
Golly, Nick? what are you going to give me in return for it? This Flower Pipe is a Sacred Item of mine. It had the Blessing of a Pixiu Money Dragon’s Yen. Those pertain to Ien/Tobacco Smoke, and of course Gum, as Resin. How did you find it, by the way?
Only by how lost you were, yourself, Ben. Which is why I summoned you to confiscate it. You hold to too much, making you your own lost artefactuary. How about I give you a job, to occupy yourself with? Do you mind?
Stepping forth a, “Krampus-looking,” Ben, known as, “GAAP (for Lust),” to the Hebrews’ Demonolators, appeared as a dark fog, with two cool yellow eyes. What type of job, asked Ben. He was most perturbed by the idea of losing his tie to the Dragon. It had been near him, almost his entire life. Now, he’d been bidden back in time to see Nick.
Nick handed him a Blessed Fairy Birch Twig, stating, I would like you to watch over Andrew.
Ben, agreed. Okay, no problem! But how do you want me to be to any of the men or women on the merchant’s end of the tally involved. Those with Tobacco… or, furthermore, Andrew, himself. What about the picture?
Mainly, Nick asked? The Saint, now being shocked, and a bit sorry to hear the Demon's plaintive-sounding consideration. Mainly, I pray you’ll treat them mercifully. I bid you off of them. First, however, I have something to read to you.
What could that be? asked Ben, a little agitated.
What I have here, is the boy named Andrew's, soul legal, written out.
A legal, why would he have even needed it? Asked Ben.
He was Naughty, said Nick.
And you still want to give him my pipe? Ben was flabbergasted and shook his head in disapproval, The fog dissipating and then reaccumulated.
Yes, but if it’s any consolation, I’m having you involved on the matter of this topic, to assign you to a task. You can follow me around for gift deliveries.
Okay, he sighed, let me hear it. Away!...
An Elf of exceptional hearing, well guarded, and of swift feet, ran out to take the pipe away, and then ran back to the cabin.
After a medium-length discussion, Ben was satisfied, and entered back into the Cupboard.
Santa’s last words to Ben, were… Just, be moderate. You are, by your Goetic, “Lust Spirit,” naming, a commoderator of amounts of passion in dibs, but we need to keep that, clean. You also put the Darker Passions into what you see to. I’m going out on a limb here, but hopefully that very thing, won't impact anything, other than our N’Oel Nights, and the Pipe. You know how we aim to role our Presence, in the World.

The Winged-and-Horned Shade, of Ben, after clamouring back into the Cupboard, was silent.
Slowly… and MOST surely, Santa twisted the Silver, Locking Key. This, without a word of lib, and doing so, with a certain determination.
It must be noted, that a similar smaller make of this magical re-animating Cupboard, later made a popular movie.
Not without stress, Nick later wiped his brow. I hope he didn't have too hard a time with this new arrangement… Nick had been sweating for what he might end up having to go through over the Holiday visits (with Ben in tow, that is).
Pulling a delivery sack, from out of the Barn and coming back to the Cupboard again. He opened it a final time.
He found only the rock on the floor, and after sweeping away the muddy dirt, and doing a bit of cleaning, he put the rock, pipe, and bottle of goestling into the pack. He had Mrs. Claus file all of the Elves, then, into the OMRISS, bidding them, goodnight.
Upon awakening, they would be only noddy toys. Except for the good ones. Those? The immortal Hadibi’ndula.

Remember:
  1. The OMRISS is a Real World Cupboard. While Fictional in it’s Movie-Premise, it is a had in of Nursery Rhyme in it’s very Sinching Synopsis. A bidden in of Fairy Tales, and built to the scale of a Mother-Hubbard-Sized hole in a home, it Sinter Crofts, as though enchanting Knacked Wood. While bidding, “idle-timed,” it neither ins wood living nor dead, but delivers any of it, and all of it, to take off as life anew, by how it had new life in it ever bidden. In this way, it is alike a Comardin'd Haduzen Christic.
  2. The Former Word Gas, mentioned in the Chapter on Goz, Relates to Gos and Gauze, or Phantoms, as well as Petroleum. Thus, Benzine.
  3. The Suffix of Which, “-Zin,” rather, as a, “Zinfandel,” Is a Goestling Alcohol, or Alcohol Spirit, and, when by the Phantom Bal/The Ghostling Ben, is the Lusty Demon, named GAAP/TOAB.
As it is load of diabol heresy, and when we know that Demon’s are indeed real, it surfeits your God will, to operate as his accountancy-recastecaller (in a, however bidden), and the very need of reform of a man with No God Say. He was lored as a religious Ba’aler of religion… to say that it mattered, but as caste, and with spirit possessions admitting him forward, not enough concession of (God) control, could be in it. The unholy Ceremonial Art, if made, not only by unholiness, but impious countenance being his main ten.
They, for Judaeo-Christians Prophets, need a proper coursing (as routed out and then sealed, as out in a sanction, and never bidden). Also, demons must occasionally be bound and cast into the pit or hellfires, though this turns a Carnic Karmal relaying, of, which they do create by their being off-put, which causes a hay, when it need be maintained as a need for reminders of moral hall-calls. That is, not fraternizing amourishly over them.
Reason as in it, being, that it enburdens followers by demon lawing, and the apostates then vie for their pry at buying out the prelacy, by fay-way none the wary, no matter where Revelations had in. We need Fellowship's Service, in gracious God support. Not con-arded rapture of hierarchical courts. Not all is bidden. Heretic in me.
Alcohol, apart from all and any demon loring, is at a shy when imbibing wisdom for Heaven, and therefore, not recommended for anyone (especially not those who are ill of conscience, judgementally off righteous God call, or leprous).
The reason why, being if the person were ill, they were already unclean and alcohol is low-kosher. This means that, if any were taken, only a little should be allowed, and only for one, as we do not want all people on it.
If a proper handle is lacking, then it is recommended left out of it.
  1. For the purposes of this story, Santa only drinks milk, and no Zinfandel, is had, by either of the Clauses, nor their elves.
Aside from alcohol, people need to possess a Spiritual Sobriety. Minding what God says being of the utmost importance in how they do. This is important to maintaining God Line Vitality to the Prayer, aiding the power of Scripturally Appropriate Discernment in Usefully Testifying Matters, as well as being a Better Bid, on the off, for Righteous Judgement Calls in Heaven’s Jurisdictional Witness and Guard the Flock, and Any, helping All the Kingdom to know Him (The Christ), and Life itself.

Well, Ben's off to drive Andrew crazy! Pa mumbled to himself, coming back into the Cabin.
Andrew doesn’t know, but that Osé of his, is a Snow Leopard/Uncia Uncia, which exemplifies Unk/Twain/Wit, through an Ounce/One, making it’s Were-Cat/Ju-Ju transformation, by All One, as an Oni Spirit.
The Oni, will now, I hope, feel only occasionally bidden to discipline Children with the Madenning, “Fairy Birch Twig,” and only the Naughty, as a Krampus, and while around the Winter’s Holiday when I can Supervise and offer Gifts to People.

How did you win Ben, so fast? Ma asked.
I told him that Andrew was divining with a Dictionary, by Bibliomancy or Book-Fortune-Telling, and got landed with the names Spellbound and Eldritch before 2004, Monarch and Bishop in 2007, and then finally, in 2020, Signature. That making a minimum of 5 Nicknames.
Signature? said Mrs. Claus. How dreadful. The pipe is Andrew's then?
By all accounts I'd have to say so, but my Records mention, the Pipe is to be given, from Eldritch.
Where should we send it to? she asked.
As no Eldritch Spellbound truly exists, I suppose we should send it to all of El-Dom, until such a time as Andrew receives it.

I’ve got the document right here. It truly says it all.
Andrew thought that random lot drawing was only a random act. But it’s that very random act that plods (if not by plotting), a path. Some forms of lot drawing are unbidden. We leave it at, that Andrew, hadn’t known God.
Later, he figured that the white light leading him through pages of his (fortune-told), Self-Naming Ceremonies was a Holy Spirit Guide, when it was, in fact, an Evil, Insanity, Demon Spirit named Osé, making him follow a long, drawn-out, Ghost-Written, Trail, of, “Eldritch”/”Creature”/”Bucca,” “Monarch”/”King”/”Faust,” and, “Bishop”/”Pope”/”Jack Frost, naming.
He had a Signature written out on a Letter to Christ, when he divined the word Signature, though!
Oh, is Signature his name, now?! Look after all names, they said? This little man is responsible for having us look after everyone, then… She gave a faint laugh, then wincing in the snow. His Birth Name, though?
He wrote it out prior, unwittingly.
Where was it located? asked Mrs. Claus.
Well, on a Note to God saying, more-or-less, that he’s a, “Psalm 139”/”Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”-Believing, as well as an, “Isaiah 11”/”God's Animal Safety Promise”-Indebted, “Over-Kill-Joy,” Repentant Sinner who goes over the top obsessively in small circuits, but still believes in The Lord.
Do you think he’s ready for this Fairy Pipe? Asked Mrs. Claus.
It came from Tatter’s Flower, and Ben had it enchanted somehow, with a Dragon, said Nick admitted embarassed. Anyhow, Andrew aimed to confess that he’s a, “1 Corinthians 5:5 Repentant,” and will have to wait to see the Christ, without usurping the Church, by abiding good protocol in the World. In the Interim… Not really. I think he needed to feel gifted.
Nick! Ma warned. This could go horribly wrong! Well, what? Do you think he’s acquitted of it, by Secret Societies involvements over his head, ‘surping him by summonry?
If they Governed his Movements, that’s why the coincidences are down to Spirits of Wickedness in High Places being the multiple homes he's moved to. Anyhow, let’s have some Hallongrotta.
Remind me again, why The Delva La Plume is the one he needs and not a Poinsettia. Mrs. Claus asked.
He needs one that’s Christened/Named, and, Ma! Pa whined, lastly, it's not that there aren't other Fairy Pipes to be made, but I’m pretty sure they have to be prayed for, to be received properly. This is the right one for, “El's New Nativity.”
I’ve had enough Nicholas, and you even wasted our Zinfandel. I’ll see you in the morning.

As for, on whether, he was Signed?
I just so happen to know he's still in Osé, and not all-out Satan malurky! Nick fittered secretly to a mouse, Osé means honorific title in Japanese.
But how was it to be… In Ba’al or even exorcizable..
Andrew Thomlinson, sat in his room, browsing the Global News and Weather, on his Smart Phone's Internet. The year was 2018.
Kali? he asked. Are you sure we should do this? He put out a cigarette into his ash mug (a rather conventional ashtray?).
One more, Magic Drew Bear, his cherubim replied.
Well, you said three, but I don’t know, he said.
They were onto a third.
Then they'll know that you and I are meant to be.
A third fire, could put the world in dire peril… Andrew, hesitated. Both fell in Phantom Love over never meeting and discovering Opera.
You know, I don't really believe in this stuff, but who am I? I'm not real. Everything's realler than I am! We'll make it three fires and that way, if your theories are true, we'll be able to locate them and prove them and if they locate you, we can find a way of announcing our love before them all. I'm sure they'll manage a way of bringing us together, that way.

But Kali, who are you, again, asked Andrew, dearly, and half disbelieving as he picked up another cigarette. You called me a Magic Drew Bear one day, and I'm not lying, that won my heart, but I don't even own the better part of my own apartment or dollar to get us started off together, yet. How will we ever find a way to live together?
You'll come to get me from the East Coast of Canada, she said. In all regalia, and sweep me off my feet... Either that, she said, or you'll meet me at my hospital.
That story always changes.

Kali had met him, at first, in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, in a vision, where she had stood outside his apartment window shuffling her feet, but when Andrew had looked, she hadn't actually been there.
At least, that's how it had started.
Now it was that, the two, were playing a very dangerous game, of placing Faustian Fairytale bets, on the landscape of the, "known," world.
In, “Clement.”
On one hand, Andrew believed in girls, on the other hand he didn't know why he had to feed this one birdfood or get off his butt and find a job, before the war or, better still, he didn't know why he had to lend to starting the minor Apocalypse, which would inevitably start the war, then followed up by the real Apocalypse, afterward. Nobody ever let him in on those sorts of dire detailings.
It's an Ion.
Like a Kirby, you're saying? His friend couldn't believe him. The pink demon puffoon from the video games?
Well, the way I see it, all fires are synchronized in some way, though they never appear so. Think of two synchronized blinking lights. Now, command them ionic. Only, those two lights fly around, and sync their, "behaviours and patterns," while all over the place, or the planet. And then, take it one step further... they're never truly only even ONE pair.
Why do they fly around?
I think they fly around to examine every known or unknown thing in existence. When they're at rest, it's because they've found enough Spark, Combustible Material, and my guess is, Air. They're really all over the Universe that way, only we can't tell for their Disparity and Scale and the Fires.
So they just inhale, things combust, and then they dwell in their ember and/or maybe die down a bit to continue? Yeah... Drew, that's lame. Kirby's not a real demon.
But don't you see. I know that! They're not actually Kirby. They're one little ion commanding an existence circuit.
Then the question I'd ask is, are they (or is it), necessary to existence, or better yet, do they command it?
You know what? Since I saw the manifestation of those fires on the ninth of September, from my bet with, "Invisible," Kali, last year, I'm kinda growing more wary of flickering lights...

  • CRACK! *
“WHAT ON EARTH WAS THAT?!!!”

A Lady stepped out of a Car and turned to face the two of them.
The Card: "Sparing you any details on how my ashes may have been in slight, I've commanded you into my furnace for how the furnishings were not in right."
~ Andrew writes loopy letters, said one girl, while giggling, back in his Junior High. And I couldn't tell who he was trying to impress. You... Or Jim Davis. ~ A Bat flew in and settled into the tree (it had been the Eaves Trough).
OKAY... Tags off, and Let Me Know How Everything Fits! His mom, got back into the car, waved and drove off.

2023.06.06 21:28 DocWilly84 Stowe, VT June 2023 - 100 Guests, $95k

We got married on June 2nd in Stowe, VT - a bit of a destination wedding in a ski resort town so the budget reflects that.
Venue - The Barn at Smuggler's Notch $18,700. This included the venue and alcohol. They provide several packages and as we are not heavy drinkers, had an open bar. They proprietors also act as day-of coordinators and are great people.
Catering - SugarSnap $16,000 which was a family style 3-course dinner with a grazing table for the cocktail hour, a dessert buffet, and late night snack table. Food was all delicious and the guest couldn't speak highly enough of it.
Band - Silver Arrow $8,060 for an 8-piece band during the reception. We had 3 piece for the ceremony and 2 for the cocktail hour. They kept it very lively and also provided audio for the ceremony. We did have to pay for band lodging which was another $900.
Rentals - VT Tent Co $3900 which covered all linens, glass ware, flatware, and silverware. Also chairs for the ceremony.
Paper items (menu, programs, etc.) - $650 by a local vendor.
Floral - Tipsy Tulip $12,900 which gave us flowers for the arbor, bridal bouquet, table arrangements, and chandeliers. They were phenomenal.
Photographer & Videographer - Andy Madea Photo $11,250 which got us all-day photography (9 AM To 11 PM) with 2 people, and 4 hours of video (5 to 9 PM) also with 2 people. Andy was a great resource as well for best practices, poses, etc.
Shuttle busses - Fleet Transportation, LLC $3,600 for 2x 14 passengers vans and 1x 32 passenger bus. Heard no complaints. Also allowed us to bring drinks for passengers.
Hair & Makeup - Heather Garrow $1,830 which included the trial. Didn't have a bridal party so some friends and family were invited to participate instead.
Save the Dates & Website - Zola $600 no real complaints, STDs looked great and the functionality of the website was nice, especially with the registry feature.
Audio Guest Book - After the Tone $375 we're not 100% sure if this was a success yet. We'll see.
Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party - The Lodge at Spruce Peak $11,500 food was delicious and the hospitality was great. The pavilion we used was very large and comfortable both inside and out. Grazing table was very good, and solid options for drinks.
Welcome gifts - Local Chocolatier $1,000 which included custom molding fee with a welcome message and a set of truffles for each guest. These were delicious and we had leftovers to share amongst some of the staff at the lodge and venue.
Miscellaneous items - about another $4000 or so for our lodging, spa services, food, etc.
It's definitely a lot, but we also got what we paid for. It was two days of great fun, quality time, unmatched service, and partying. We stayed at the Lodge at Spruce Peak and I can't speak highly enough about their staff, amenities, service, quality, or rooms.
The Barn at Smuggler's Notch is a first-rate venue what provides exceptional service, an amazing experience, awesome view, and an outstanding facility. It is a purpose built venue with a heating/cooling built in, a full service bridal suite with full bathroom, and an on-site chef's kitchen so the food is freshly prepared.
Feel free to ask any further questions!

May Pans, Mini Reviews, & Replacements
Ciate Watermelon Burst Hydrating Primer- It took me literally a couple of years to pan this deluxe size because I’m not a huge fan of primer in general, and I liked this one specifically under a tinted sunscreen I only use during the 3 hottest months. Do they even still make this? I’d probably buy it again if it weren’t for the black blobs throughout the product. I think they’re supposed to look like watermelon seeds, but when you take as long as I do to finish products, you tend to get anxious about black blobs in your skincare.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, in black. I used to use this years ago and loved it, so I was super excited to receive it in a sub box recently. It turned out to be disappointing because it smudged under my eyes any time I did my bottom lashes. I fixed the problem by buying a mini size of the waterproof and using it as a top layer and it worked great! IDK if they’ve reformulated recently, or maybe it always smudged but I didn’t care back in the days before I was spoiled by tubing mascara.
Lush Dream Cream- this is the nicest body cream ever. It feels so soft and smells like fresh lavender!
Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum- I think it worked well? I only used it once or twice a week and it may have helped brighten my skin. I will say it’s probably a good value because you only need a couple of drops and this sample lasted me a few months. It didn’t seem to oxidize in the bottle.
Moroccan oil- I love this and used to buy it all the time. It’s heavily fragranced, but I like how it smells. I have 2B wavy hair that can turn into a straight-ish frizzy pouf if I don’t have time to style it. This oil saves me on those days. Will probably buy again someday after I go through my stash.
Pacifica Vegan Care Balm in Vanilla Sheer- thin texture, scented with vanilla, tastes like cake. Hydrating without being sticky, glossy, or greasy. I’d buy again if they still make it, this one is a couple of years old.
03 Soothe & Cool Peppermint & German Chamomile Massage Oil. Honestly this smells more like lemongrass than anything. I got it as a gift a few years ago and it’s a great body oil. Very energizing and refreshing.
Glossier Priming Moisturizer- I absolutely love this and use it all the time except in the summer, when it feels a little too heavy. A little goes a long way- this lasted over 2 years. I have a replacement, as well as the Priming Moisture Balance for when the weather is hot and humid. Unfortunately this brand keeps reformulating, so I may be looking for a new HG moisturizer soon.
Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream- HG product, definitely going to order more! This is an unscented light gel cream that absorbs easily, hydrates, and helps with fine lines/ dark circles.
Camille Rose Spiked Honey Mousse- this is literally the nicest smelling thing I’ve ever put in my hair.
Sky Organics Fractionated Coconut Oil- purchased as a base for some DIY cosmetics thing I made awhile back; used the rest as a massage oil. I’m not a huge fan of pure coconut oil for my own body but it does make a great massage oil- unscented with lots of slip.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser- for years this was my HG cleanser, the only thing that didn’t make my face red & irritated after washing. Unfortunately it’s been reformulated so I’m moving on. RIP, Milky Jelly :(
Dr. Brandt Pore Dermabrasion Exfoliator- something in this, possibly the fragrance or citrus oils, dried out & irritated my skin. I tried using it once every week or 2, but ultimately got frustrated with how dull my skin would look for the day or 2 after using. I’ve used other glycolic acid products with success; this one just isn’t for me. I gave up after about 1/3 of the tube and repurposed it as a body scrub. It’s probably better suited to very oily or less sensitive skin.
Dr. Jart Cicapair Facial Calming Mist- this stuff is awesome for calming redness throughout the day. I used it up in a couple of months and have a replacement already.
Pacifica Super Flower Face Oil- I used to use it at night occasionally when I had any healing blemishes or irritation. It seemed to calm my skin and accelerate healing, but I couldn’t use it daily or I’d get clogged pores and small breakouts. I started using it on my body with about 1/3 left in the bottle, because it was over a year old and would have gone bad. Idk if they sell this anymore, but I probably wouldn’t purchase again. There are better face oils out there.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner- it worked well at first as an extra layer of hydration. I got a weird dry rash while this was still in my product rotation, near the end of the bottle. It may or may not have been a factor. It came from Ipsy, which I’ve since unsubscribed from, in part due to receiving old, almost expired skincare products. I may try it again in the future but would purchase directly. I’d be interested to hear others’ experience with it.
